Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of letter card media on students' initial reading ability in Indonesian Language subject grade II in elementary school. This research is a quantitative research with an experimental research method with a quasi experiment type. The sample of this study was taken using a saturated sampling technique consisting of two classes, namely class II A with 20 students as a control class without using letter cards and class II B with 20 students as an experimental class using letter card media. The data collection technique used in this study is a performance test (initial reading test) using pretest and posttest. The results of the research from both classes, namely in the pretest, had an average value (Mean) of the experimental class of 52.50 and the control class of 49.69. At the time of the posttest, the average score (Mean) of the experimental class was 80.94 and the control class was 59.69. The results of the hypothesis show that the tcount value > the table is 5,146 > 1,684 which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So, the hypothesis states that the letter card media has an effect on students' initial reading ability in Indonesian subjects grade II at UPT SDN 060816 Medan.

Abstract

Studi ini menerapkan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk mendalami pengalaman agama dalam Islam. Fokusnya adalah pada dimensi subjektif individu Muslim dalam merasakan, memahami, dan menginterpretasikan pengalaman agama mereka. dalam konteks penelitian ini, latar belakang kompleksitas pengalaman agama dalam Islam dibahas. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menemukan makna-makna baru melalui pendekatan ini, dengan memperhatikan kebutuhan yangbelum terpenuhi dalam literatur penelitian. Penelitian ini juga menyorotikebaruan pendekatan fenomenologi dalam studi Islam dan implikasinya bagi pemahaman agama dalam era modern, di harapkan bahwa penelitian ini akanmemberikan kontribusi yang signifikan bagi pemahaman kita tentang pengalaman agama dalam Islam.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara yang kaya akan budaya dan tradisi, dan salah satu tradisi yang menarik adalah ritual Balimau Kasai. Meskipun berasal dari Minangkabau, Sumatera Barat, tradisi ini telah menyebar ke seluruh Sumatera hingga Lampung. Ritual Balimau adalah upacara pembersihan tubuh dan jiwa yang merupakan persiapan penting sebelum memasuki bulan Ramadan. Pertanyaannya adalah apakah tradisi seperti ini masih ditemukan dalam masyarakat modern atau bahkan telah bergeser dari nilai normatifnya. Karena awalnya ritual ini memiliki nuansa spiritual yang sangat kuat, karena mengandung nilai-nilai Islam dan berusaha memberikan stimulus pada salah satu ibadah wajib yang dilakukan oleh umat Islam. Oleh karena itu, jika dilihat dari pendekatan Normatif Apologetik, kegiatan semacam ini harus dilakukan sebagai upaya revitalisasi. Islam tidak pernah mengajarkan bahwa ketika memasuki bulan suci Ramadan, seseorang harus mandi (mirip dengan mandi junub). Namun, tradisi Balimau Kasai, selama tidak bertentangan dengan norma agama, bukanlah kegiatan yang dilarang dari sudut pandang agama. Faktanya, posisi tradisi ini akan semakin kuat jika mengandung nilai-nilai agama dalam pelaksanaannya. Seperti dalam agama Islam, sebelum memasuki bulan Ramadan, sangat dianjurkan untuk saling memaafkan, karena Ramadan adalah bulan untuk bertobat, sementara pengampunan Allah terhalang jika urusan sesama manusia belum terselesaikan. Selain itu, umat Islam dianjurkan untuk mempersiapkan diri sebaik mungkin, baik secara fisik maupun psikologis, agar mendapatkan hasil optimal dalam berpuasa.

Abstract

Kajian ini tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui pendekatan ilmu Pendidikan Islam dalam kajian studi Islam. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaann. Studi ini difokuskan pada penelusuran dan analis untuk mencari keseimbangan antara Pendekatan-pendekatan dalam Pendidikan Islam yaitu, pendekatan pengamalan, pengalaman, rasional, emosional dan pembiasaan sehingga dapat dipahami oleh manusia agar dapat diimplementasikan dan sebagai bentuk landasan moral dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Yang berhubungan dengan Masyarakat dan lingkungan. Hubungan manusia dengan Allah (hablum minallah) dan hubungan antara sesame manusia (hablum minannas), maka Pendidikan islam merupakan dasar untuk membentuk moral manusia yang baik dan sempurna.

Abstract

Tradisi merupakan peninggalan sejarah nenek moyang pada masa lampau yang masih dilestarikan hingga saat ini. Contoh tradisinya adalah Tradisi Pesta Baratan di desa Kriyan Kalinyamtan Jepara. Tradisi ini merupakan warisan Nyai Ratu Kalinyamat untuk memperingati kematian suaminya, sultan penonton, yang terbunuh saat berperang dengan Arya Penangsang. Tradisi ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Nisfu Sya'ban atau lebih tepatnya pada pertengahan bulan Syya'ban yang dilaksanakan secara meriah dengan berbagai macam acara. Dalam prosesi tradisi ini mengandung makna religius terkait bulan suci Ramadhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif dalam menyajikan data. Tradisi merupakan salah satu contoh sejarah kebudayaan yang harus terus dilestarikan hingga akhir generasinya.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of Demography, Human Development Index (HDI) and Democracy Index on Economic Growth in the Sulawesi Region for the 2012-2022 period. The research method used is panel data regression with the selected estimation model being the Random Effect Model (REM). The research results explain that partially demographic variables have no impact on economic growth, HDI has a significant impact on economic growth and the democracy index (X3) has no impact on economic growth. Simultaneously the demographic variables (X1), HDI (X2) and democracy index (X3) have an impact on the economic growth variable (Y) with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.18%, The research results show that the impact of demographics, HDI and index democracy is only 18% while 82% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are religious institutions that provide education and teaching as well as develop and disseminate Islamic religious knowledge. Learning includes human elements, materials, facilities, equipment and procedures that influence each other to achieve learning objectives, in this case humans involved in the teaching system consist of students, teachers and other personnel, the material includes; books, blackboards and others. Facilities and equipment consist of classrooms and audiovisual (learning media). Procedures include schedules and methods of delivering information, teaching practice, exams and so on. However, the lack of teacher understanding of the procedures and principles of choosing the right media results in the learning media used cannot support the learning process optimally. The steps of assistance in the process of approaching the Asset Based Communities Development (ABCD) method and tools in finding and recognizing assets are Appreciative Discovery, Asset development analysis, Program strategy analysis, Program narrative summary, Program monitoring and evaluation techniques. So it is hoped that Arabic teachers of Nahdlotul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, North Metro, Metro City can develop Arabic Learning Media Based on Technology, Information & Communication (ICT).

Abstract

This research is entitled "Influence Pop Up Book on Beginning Reading Ability in Elementary School Age Students”. This research was conducted to determine the effect of pop up book on the initial reading ability of elementary school age students. This research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental research design with non equivalent control group design. The population in this study were class I MIN 2 South Labuhanbatu students. The samples in this research were taken using techniques purposive sampling as many as two classes, namely class I-A with 26 students, are taught using media pop up book as an experimental class while class I-B with 26 students was taught using conventional learning as a control class. The data was analyzed using a normality test, a homogeneity test to determine whether the data for the two samples were normally and homogeneously distributed, then a t test to determine the effect of learning media on students' initial reading ability with the help of the SPSS 20 application. The results of data analysis showed that the sig. (2-tailed) is 0.001 0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating that there is an influence pop up book on the initial reading ability of elementary school age students in class I MIN 2 South Labuhanbatu.

Abstract

Difficulties in speaking include students being able to convey messages well but still using their mother tongue, being embarrassed and nervous about speaking in front of the class and even forgetting what they are going to convey. Role-playing is an effective learning model in improving students' speaking skills. This model can help students become more active, independent and happy during the learning stage. This research aims to determine the effect of the role-playing learning model on students' speaking skills. By applying a quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design, this research involved a population of 112 students. The research sample consisted of 59 students, where class IV A as the experimental class included 31 students and class IV B as the control class consisted of 28 students. The instrument used in this research is a non-test technique in the form of a performance test. Hypothesis testing is carried out using the t test after first carrying out a normality test. The results of the significance value (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05 indicate that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Development of Mini Book Media to Improve Reading Ability in Indonesian Language Subjects in Class V" which is based on initial observations that there are class V students at SDS Prguruan Kebangsaan Medan who experience difficulties in reading. This research aims to develop and evaluate learning media in the form of mini books to improve the reading skills of class V students. The method used is research and development with 4D model design through the stages of definition, design, development and distribution. The results of the research show that the mini book media is very valid, practical and effective in improving reading skills with good quality and is suitable for learning in class V. It is recommended that this mini book media can be used by teachers to improve reading skills in Indonesian language subjects in class V.
