Abstract

Studies about the integration value of students’ religious moderation have been conducted by many scholars, in fact, there are still limited studies on the relationship between them in the aspect of local wisdom. To fill the gap, this study aims to describe the value of Buginess local wisdom called Mattulu Tellue which can be found in the religious moderation material in Al-Islam learning in the Muhammadiyah University Bone, Indonesia to improve tolerance among students. This study deploys a qualitative method. This study found that lecturers of Al-Islam learning apply the local wisdom in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning to strengthen the value of religious moderation education based on Bugis local wisdom in al-Islam learning. Al-Islam learning with the theme of religious moderation based on the values of Bugis Bone Mattulu Tellue local wisdom has positive impacts on students which can contribute to society, especially in areas that are still full of culture and local wisdom in understanding the value of tolerance in the moderation frame. religious. Therefore, this study gives implications to contribute empirically, contextually, and policy.

Abstract

Indonesia is a plural country, in terms of culture, ethnicity, language, and religion. This shows that a diverse Indonesia has the potential to cause disputes between ethnicities. One of them is the existence of a Papuan student community outside the region often get less pleasant treatment. The condition of Makassar city is one of the compound areas or has diversity. Almost all the different tribes in Indonesia inhabit the city of Makassar. The possibility of conflict can occur from its demographics, even being criminalized to the Papuan student community that inhabits the city of Makassar can occur. There is a difference that occurs in the city of Makassar, the Papuan student community tends to be acceptable in comparison to other areas, can be seen from the many Papuan community dormitories located in the city of Makassar. The results explained that the good relations of the people of Makassar city with the Papuan student community can not be separated from the fact of a long history, that Makassar is the Pusar area of Eastern Indonesia, and Papua was once part of the spread of Makassar Bugis traders. However, maintaining good relations with the surrounding residents is the most important thing to create a harmonious situation, uphold the value of tolerance and open up to new environments. As well as avoiding mis-information that reaches the community of Makassar city about Papua that smells negative, to prevent the widespread spread of OPM understanding in the city of Makassar.

Abstract

Community Service Activities in the form of assistance in the development of learning media aim to provide knowledge and skills in developing learning media that meet the requirements for certification for teachers. The ability to develop instructional media is expected to accelerate and facilitate the acquisition of in-service teacher certification. The target audience in this PPM activity is the 26 teacher of SMK 1 Watampone. Assistance in the development of instructional media is carried out by means of lectures, demonstration and exercises accompanied by question and answers. The Lecture method is used to explain the introductory concepts of professional teachers and teacher certification and the theory of instructional media. The demonstration method is used to show a work process, namely the stages of developing computer-based learning media, while the training method is to practice making media that meets the requirements of the teacher certification program. While the question and answer method is to give participants the opportunity to consult in overcoming obstacles in the development of learning media. The benefits that participants can get from activities include being able to compile and develop computer-based learning media according to the training subject being taught.

Abstract

The laboratory is a place for monitoring, experimenting, practicing and testing the concept of knowledge and technology. Science laboratory management includes planning, organizing, regulating, recording, maintaining, and funding. The function of the science laboratory to improve the quality of student learning depends on the teacher's view of science and learning. The purpose of the activity is to provide training to teachers and laboratory assistants in high schools. The method in carrying out activities offline is the lecture method and question and answer between the presenters and activity participants. The target of this service activity is a high school biology science teacher. The results of the service are that 70% of the participants strongly agree and 30% of the participants agree that the activities regarding laboratory management are in accordance with their needs. For 65% of participants stated strongly agree and 35% of participants agreed that the delivery of material on laboratory management activities can be understood by participants. For 90% of participants stated strongly agree and 10% of participants agreed that the results of the extension activities can be implemented at school. The conclusion of this activity is that this service activity is very much needed by teachers, especially the head of the laboratory and laboratory assistant in improving their competence.

Abstract

Literacy culture is very important to improve the quality of education in both rural and urban areas. Lamakkaraseng Village, Ulaweng District has a low literacy culture because there are residents who are not yet proficient in reading, writing or arithmetic. The Service Team conducted Calistung training activities (reading, writing, and arithmetic) for the villagers of Lamakkaraseng to improve their Literacy culture. The results obtained are that the participants' reading and writing skills as well as numeracy skills have improved, and some residents have started to get used to reading every day when they see the writings displayed around them. In addition, they are satisfied with the training activities carried out by the community service team

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research that aims to improve student learning outcomes through the STEAM learning approach in Integral calculus courses. The populations in this study were all students taking the Integral Calculus course using a purposive sampling technique. The research design used was a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. Data were obtained from student learning outcomes tests in the form of pre-test and post-test. Data analysis used Mann-Whitney. The results showed that the sig (2-tailed) value for the experimental class was 0.000 <0.05, which means that the integration of the STEAM approach to Integral Calculus courses can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuasn belajar siswa secara signifikan, maka perlu diterapkan model pembelajaran yang presisi. Model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project merupakan salah satu model yang didesain dengan tujuan untuk membantu guru di dalam mengefektifkan pemakaian soal-soal latihan supaya siswa mempu mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan tipe soal High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) pada mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experimental design dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Bone dan sampel terdiri dari kelas XI MIPA 1 dan kelas XI MIPA 2 yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh dari tes High Order Thinking Skill yang terdiri dari pretest dan posttest. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Independent Sample t-Test dengan alat bantu SPSS versi 23. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan tipe soal High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas XI UPT SMA Negeri 2 Bone, di mana uji hipotesis untuk data N-Gain memperlihatkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 atau thitung (5,469) > ttabel (2,0195) sehingga ditolak dengan nilai rata-rata skor N-Gain kelas eksperimen 0,515 lebih dari kelas kontrol 0,236. Penerapan model pembelajaran MMP, banyaknya latihan yang menggunakan soal tipe HOTS yang diberikan kepada siswa baik dalam latihan kooperatif maupun latihan mandiri bukan saja meningkatkan keaktifan siswa mengikuti pembelajaran, tapi juga menyebabkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa mengalami peningkatan melalui latihan tersebut.

Abstract

Permasalahan buah maja di Dusun Pettungnge, Desa Maggenrang menjadi permasalahan yang krusial dan harus segera dipecahkan, dimana buah maja hanya dibiarkan begitu saja bahkan dibuang ke sungai yang dapat menyebabkan pencemaran air sungai. Padahal buah maja memiliki senyawa yang sangat potensial dijadikan sebagai produk pupuk organik dan bahan pengendali alami, seperti senyawa nitrogen, alkaloid, flavonoid dan sebagainya, sehingga dengan kegiatan ini akan memberikan solusi kepada mitra Kelompok Pemuda HIPMA Desa Maggenrang dalam memanfaatkan buah maja menjadi pupuk organik dan bahan pengendali alami. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan PKM-PM yaitu terdiri atas tiga tahapan utama yaitu tahapan penyuluhan dan sosialisasi, tahapan pelatihan, dan tahapan pendampingan. Tahapan sosialisasi dilakukan dengan seminar singkat mengenai pemanfaatan buah maja menjadi bahan pengendali alami dan pupuk organik. Tahap pelatihan dimulai dengan pelatihan pembuatan produk, pengemasan, pelabelan, dan edukasi pemasaran produk bahan pengendali alami dan pupuk organik serta produk sekunder berupa kerajinan tangan yaitu lampu hiasan. Terakhir tahap pendampingan produksi dan evaluasi peningkatan pengetahuan serta keterampilan mitra. Kegiatan PKM-PM ini dilaksanakan 15 Juni-15 November 2023 oleh mitra Kelompok Pemuda HIPMA Desa Maggenrang yang beranggotakan 25 orang laki-laki. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra Kelompok Pemuda HIPMA Desa Maggenrang terkait pengetahuan mitra dalam memanfaatkan buah maja, produksi buah maja, dan pemasaran dengan peningkatan masing-masing sebesar 90% untuk kemampuan mitra dalam memanfaatkan buah maja, 90% pada kemampuan pembuatan pestisida nabati dan pupuk organik, dan 80% pada pengetahuan mitra dalam pemasaran. Selain itu, dengan peningkatan keterampilan mitra ini dapat juga membangun jiwa wirausaha mitra sekaligus mewujudkan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) desa sehat dan sejahtera.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan suatu kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak balita akibat kekurangan gizi kronis sehingga tubuh anak lebih pendek dibandingkan usianya. Stunting pada anak terjadi dikarenakan anak memiliki kekurangan gizi yang terjadi sejak anak berada dalam kandungan dan pada masa awal kehidupan setelah lahir, akan tetapi baru tampak setelah anak berusia 2 tahun. Stunting dapat diatasi dengan tanaman daun kelor (moringa oleifera). Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah atau sosialisasi. Adapun hasil sosialisasi yang dilaksanakan di Desa labuaja, kec. Kahu, Kab. Bone. yaitu memberikan pengetahun yang lebih kepada ibu hamil mengenai tanaman daun kelor dan juga terkait masalah stunting dan bagaimana mengatasi stunting dengan daun kelor atau moringa oleifera.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya Kemampuan Tingkat Pemecahan Masalah Matematis peserta didik kelas XI TO di SMK Negeri 4 Bone pada mata pelajaran Matematika. Berdasarkan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks memperlihatkan nilai Sig. (2 tailed) sebesar 0,000 di mana kurang dari taraf signifikan 5% (0,000 < 0,05). Sehingga H0 ditolak yang artinya ada pengaruh penerapan model penerapan model pembelajaran Read, Observe, Auditory and Recite (ROAR) terhadap tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Read, Observe, Auditory and Recite (ROAR) terhadap kemampuan tingkat pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas XI TO SMK Negeri 4 Bone. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI TO SMK Negeri 4 Bone. Sampel diambil satu kelas sebanyak 20 peserta didik secara random. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Pengujian prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Wilcoxon Signed Ranks. rata-rata skor pretest dan posttest siswa masing-masing sebesar 30,00 dan 57,05 di mana skor rata-rata skor posttest lebih dari pretest.
