Abstract

Aktivitas pembelajaran yang diciptakan oleh guru kurang efektif dan belum memberikan ruang kepada siswa dalam menumbuhkan literasi sains dan kemampuan metakognitif siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan aktivitas pembelajaran berbantuan media pembelajaran levidio presentation terhadap literasi sains dan kemampuan metakognitif.  Jenis penelitian yaitu pengembangan dengan model 4-D. Subjek uji coba yaitu 4 orang ahli aktivitas pembelajaran. Subjek uji coba berjumlah 22 orang. Metode mengumpulkan data yaitu studi dokumentasi, wawancara, rating scale, dan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif, deskriptif kuantitatif, dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian yaitu rata-rata skor validasi isi aktivitas pembelajaran secara keseluruhan adalah 4,42, sehingga keseluruhan valid dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil pengujian hipotesis yaitu terdapat perbedaan secara simultan literasi sains dan kemampuan metakognitif siswa yang mengikuti aktivitas pembelajaran dengan menerapkan pembelajaran berbantuan media pembelajaran levidio presentation dan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional. Pembelajaran berbantuan media pembelajaran levidio presentation berdampak positif terhadap literasi sains dan kemampuan kognitif siswa.

Abstract

There is no digital teaching module used in the learning process of elementary science skills to be able to train the ability to learn independently. This research aims to create a valid and practical digital teaching module for elementary school science skills development practice. The research model used is the ADDIE research model. The subjects of this research were 6 experts and 2 practitioners to determine the validity and practicality of the digital module being developed. The object of this research is the validity and practicality of the teaching module. The data collection method used is the questionnaire method. This development research used two data analysis techniques, namely qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the validity and practicality test analysis, the digital teaching module practice for developing elementary science skills obtained validity from learning material experts at 96.6%, learning design experts at 91.3%, learning media experts at 95.56%, the results of practicality assessments from practitioners of 96%, the practicality assessment in the individual test was 93.3%, and the practicality assessment in the small group test was 95.56%, overall with very good qualifications. The research conclusions of the digital teaching module practice for developing elementary school science skills were declared valid and practical with very good qualifications. This research implies that students can more easily carry out practicums and can learn independently.

Abstract

Learning activities in lectures tend to be monotonous and use the lecture method, so the impact on learning activities could be more optimal. This research aims to develop digital teaching materials for elementary school social studies subjects. This type of research is developed using the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were two learning design experts, two learning material experts, and two learning media experts. The test subjects for this study were two lecturers and students, which included three individual test students and nine small group test students. This research data collection method is a questionnaire. The data collection instrument uses a rating scale. The techniques used to analyze the data are descriptive qualitative analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The study's results, the assessment of learning material experts, obtained a value of 0.96 with very high content validity qualifications. The assessment given by the learning design expert is 0.94, with very high content validity qualifications. The assessment results from learning media experts were 0.96, with very high content validity qualifications. The practicality test results scored 98.5% (very good). The assessment results of the individual test get a score of 95% (very good). The results of the small group test scored 96.11% (very good). It was concluded that Social Science Learning Digital Teaching Materials were appropriate for use in learning.

Abstract

The development of innovative learning media is essential to improving students' speaking skills. One of the challenges in teaching speaking skills at the elementary school level is the limited use of interactive and engaging media. This study aims to develop a storytelling-based audiovisual medium that is effective in enhancing the speaking skills of sixth-grade elementary school students. The study employed the ADDIE development method, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subject was the storytelling-based audiovisual medium, while the research objects included content validity, media validity, user responses, and media effectiveness. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires, using instruments such as observation guidelines, rating scale sheets, interview guides, and questionnaires. The results revealed that the developed medium had a high validity level, with a content validity index of 0.92 and a media validity index of 0.91. The practicality of the medium, based on student responses, reached 97% in the excellent qualification category. The effectiveness test showed that the storytelling-based audiovisual medium significantly improved students' speaking skills, with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. This study concludes that the storytelling-based audiovisual medium is effective in enhancing students' speaking skills in elementary school.

Abstract

Elementary school students’ critical thinking skills in fraction topics remain low, primarily due to the limited availability of interactive learning media that can accommodate diverse learning styles. This study aims to develop and examine the effectiveness of a differentiated, problem-based learning (PBL) based interactive e-module in improving students’ critical thinking skills. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research design applied was a one-group pre-test–post-test, with Grade IV students as the subjects. Data were collected through questionnaires and descriptive tests using expert validation instruments, response questionnaires, and critical thinking skills tests, then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively, including a paired t-test. The results indicated that the developed media had very high validity (average scores of 4.8 from subject matter experts and 4.6 from media experts), high practicality (93.55% from teachers and 98.5% from students), and significant effectiveness (significance value 0.000 < 0.05). This e-module was designed to meet diverse learning needs through a differentiated approach, offering interactivity and fostering active student engagement. In conclusion, the differentiated PBL-based interactive e-module proved to be valid, practical, and effective in enhancing conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills. The implication is that this media can be integrated into mathematics learning as an innovative solution to optimize learning outcomes and student engagement across various educational contexts.
