Abstract

Library management at SMK Muhammadiyah Adiwerna still faces obstacles in the manual book lending process, making it less efficient and potentially leading to recording errors. This study aims to implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system using NodeMCU ESP8266 and RFID RC522 to automate the book identification and lending process integrated with REST API. The research methods include hardware design, firmware development using Arduino IDE, and system integration via the HTTP POST protocol with a backend based on the Yii2 framework. The results show that the system is able to read the UID of RFID cards, send data to the server, and process verification in real-time. Verification results are displayed via an I2C-based LCD as direct feedback to users. The implementation of this system has been proven to increase efficiency and accuracy in the book lending process, as well as reduce dependence on manual input. In addition, the system provides convenience in monitoring borrowing data in a centralized and integrated manner. The use of this technology supports the digitalization of library services in a more modern way. Therefore, the developed system has the potential to be implemented more widely in other educational institutions.

Abstract

Sistem pendistribusian zakat berbasis masjid di Masjid Istiqlal, Bandar Jaya, Lampung Tengah menjadi fokus kajian ini. Menggunakan metode kualitatif, studi ini menggali proses pengelolaan dan penyaluran zakat serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pendistribusian zakat di Masjid Istiqlal masih menghadapi tantangan, terutama dalam hal pemahaman konsep zakat dan struktur manajemen. Meski demikian, distribusi zakat telah mengikuti prinsip syariah dengan fokus pada delapan asnaf, terutama fakir miskin. Proses meliputi pembentukan amil zakat, pengumpulan dari muzakki dalam bentuk beras dan uang, serta penyaluran langsung ke mustahik. Antusiasme masyarakat dan dukungan aparat setempat menjadi faktor pendorong, sementara kurangnya kesadaran pengelola menjadi penghambat. Kajian ini merekomendasikan perbaikan manajemen zakat, peningkatan pengetahuan, dan pengembangan strategi distribusi yang lebih efektif untuk mengoptimalkan peran zakat dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Abstract

Islamic religious education in schools has often been considered unsuccessful in fostering students' religious values. The lack of awareness and indifference of each individual to religion is one of the factors that underachieves Islamic religious education in schools. This study aims to find out the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers and the factors faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering students' religious values at SMP N 2 Kesugihan. This research is a type of field research. The approach used is a qualitative research method. Data was collected through observation, interview, and documentation methods. The subjects of this study are the principal of SMP N 2 Kesugihan, curriculum waka, Islamic Religious Education teachers and students of SMP N 2 Kesugihan. The data analysis applied is data reduction, data presentation and verification. The validity test of the data was carried out through a credibility test technique which included increasing diligence in observation and triangulation. This study concludes that the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering students' religious values at SMP N 2 Kesugihan is inseparable from the main duties of the teachers themselves, namely by optimizing the role and duties of Islamic Religious Education teachers which are integrated in the learning process, optimizing several religious habits that are always carried out, including praying before and after learning, tadarus Al-Qur'an, congregational dzuhur prayer, reading Asmaul Husna and morning literacy, creating a religious learning atmosphere and school environment and becoming an exemplary figure for students.
