Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam memotivasi siswa di kelas V SDN 1 Rasau Jaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif, yang melibatkan analisis data yang diperoleh dari observasi dan wawancara. Proses analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan observasi dilakukan secara partisipan dan wawancara menggunakan format terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru dalam memotivasi siswa meliputi: 1) Membuat siswa yang aktif pada aktivitas belajar mengajar. 2) Melakukan penciptaan metode pembelajaran yang memiliki variasi. 3) Melakukan penciptaan metode pembelajaran yang memiliki variasi . 4) Mengeskalasikan antusias serta semangat belajar. 5) Memberi penghargaan. 6) Melakukan penciptaan kegiatan yang mengikutsertakan keterlibatan siswa dikelas.

Abstract

Individual character will develop well, if it gets the right reinforcement, namely in the form of education. As many as 60% of schools in implementing the Character Education Program (PPK) seem to “just have time and remember” and are not conceptualized. So that character education, which should be fully implemented and have an impact on the development of student character, cannot be fully felt. Therefore, researchers tried to develop picture storybooks with a local wisdom approach to West Kalimantan as a feasible character education media. This study used a modified research development design from the ADDIE development model. The ADDIE development model consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of this picture storybook development research have been declared worthy of contributing to the development of character education learning media for elementary school students. The feasibility of West Kalimantan local wisdom-based picture storybooks resulting from the validation test resulted in an average score of 3.4 with details of the media feasibility score of 3.1, material feasibility of 3.65 and language feasibility of 3.5. ABSTRAKKarakter individu akan berkembang dengan baik, apabila memperoleh penguatan yang tepat, yaitu berupa pendidikan. Sebanyak 60% sekolah dalam pengimplementasian Program Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) terkesan “asal sempat dan ingat” dan tidak terkonsep. Sehingga Pendidikan karakter yang seharusnya bisa terlaksana secara utuh dan berdampak pada perkembangan karakter siswa, menjadi tidak bisa dirasakan sepenuhnya. Oleh sebab itu peneliti mencoba untuk mengembangkan buku cerita bergambar dengan pendekatan kearifan lokal Kalimantan Barat sebagai media pendidikan karakter yang layak. Penelitian ini menggunakan modifikasi desain pengembangan penelitian dari model pengembangan ADDIE. Model pengembangan ADDIE terdiri dari 5 tahapan, yaitu analisis (Analysis), desain (Design), pengembangan (Development), penerapan (Implementation), dan evaluasi (Evaluation). Hasil penelitian pengembangan buku cerita bergambar ini  telah dinyatakan layak memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan media pembelajaran pendidikan karakter bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Kelayakan buku cerita bergambar berbasis kearifan lokal Kalimantan Barat yang dihasilkan dari uji validasi menghasilkan skor rata-rata 3,4 dengan rincian skor kelayakan media 3,1, kelayakan materi 3,65 dan kelayakan bahasa 3,5.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ini yaitu mengembangkan pembelajaran keterampilan menulis pada siswa kelas V mengunakan kalender cerita yang berisi pesan dan bahan ajar yang tersusun rapi dan baik dibuat seperti kalender. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) sedangkan model penelitian yang digunakan yaitu model pengembangan Borg and Gall.Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Penilaian dari ahli materi dengan persentase 97% masuk ke dalam kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Penilaian dari ahli media dengan jumlah skor 79% masuk ke dalan kriteria “Layak”. Penilaian dari ahli bahasa dengan jumlah skor 84% masuk ke dalam kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Penilaian dari praktisi pendidik dengan jumlah skor 100% masuk ke dalam kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh melalui uji lapangan kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar, terdapat peningkatan keterampilan menulis siswa kelas V B SDN 5 Rasau Jaya dan media kalender cerita termasuk dalam kriteria “baik” untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran keterampilan menulis. Disimpulkan bahwa media kalender cerita efektif untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran keterampilan menulis siswa.

Abstract

Berdasarkan wawancara dengan penyusun soal PAS Kelas V Tema Semester ganji, diperoleh informasi bahwa soal PAS tersebut, telah diujikan tanpa melalui tahapan analisis butir soal secara logis rasional. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui seberapa besar proporsi persentase jenjang ranah kognitif butir soal pilihan ganda dan mengetahui seberapa besar kesesuaian jenjang ranah kognitif antara tujuan pembelajaran soal PAS kelas V semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 SDN 29 Sanggau Kecamatan Kapuas Kabupaten Sanggau. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa soal yang dianalisis ditinjau dari aspek jenjang ranah kognitif. Distribusi jenjang ranah kognitif pada soal Tema 1 terdapat 14 (31%) butir soal berkategori mengingat (C1), 11 (24%) butir soal berkategori memahami (C2), 4 (9%) butir soal berkategori mengaplikasikan (C3), 12 (27%) butir soal berkategori menganalisis (C4), 4 (9%) butir soal berkategori mengevaluasi (C5) dan tidak terdapat (0%) butir soal berkategori menciptakan (C6). Soal Tema 2 terdapat 11 (24%) butir soal berkategori mengingat (C1), 13 (29%) butir soal berkategori memahami (C2), 10 (22%) butir soal berkategori mengaplikasikan (C3), 7 (16%) butir soal berkategori menganalisis (C4), 4 (9%) butir soal berkategori mengevaluasi (C5) dan tidak terdapat (0%) butir soal berkategori menciptakan (C6).

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in grade VI science subjects at SD Negeri 47 Sungai Raya. The purpose of this study is to improve science learning outcomes in grade VI students of SD Negeri 47 Sungai Raya. This research is a classroom action research applying a model developed by Suharsimi Arikunto. The research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle held two meetings. One cycle consists of four stages of activity, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. The subjects of this study were grade VI students of SD Negeri 47 Sungai Raya, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency, in science learning in the odd semester of the academic year, totaling 24 students. Data collection techniques use observation, learning outcomes tests and documentation. The research instrument used is an observation sheet of student activities in applying the team game tournament learning model. As for the learning outcomes of students using learning outcome test sheets, namely in the form of written tests (pre-test and pos-test). The results showed that the learning outcomes of students increased from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I the learning outcomes of students were 66.66% and in cycle II it became 83.33%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application  of the team game tournament  learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students in grade VI science learning at SD Negeri 47 Sungai Raya.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the shape, shape and factors causing initial reading difficulties of grade I students of SDN 29 Sanggau. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research and the subject is a class teacher, a grade I student of SDN 29 Sanggau. Data collection is carried out by interviews, observations and egra tests. Data analysis techniques use the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data display and data verification. The results of the observation and EGRA test of initial reading difficulties of grade I students of SDN 29 Sanggau, researchers concluded that of the 5 difficulties in the initial reading aspect, namely the aspect of recognizing letters from 2 aspects, namely the aspect of recognizing capital letters, 5 students could not mention capital letters. 4 students are not familiar with letters much and it is difficult to distinguish almost the same letters. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 71.4 and the percentage is 36%. Aspects of recognizing lowercase letters 4 students have not been able to pronounce lowercase letters. 4 students are not familiar with letters much and it is difficult to distinguish letters that are almost the same, namely. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 74.36 and the percentage is 32%. The aspect of reading words from 3 aspects, namely the aspect of identifying letters 9, students cannot identify letters. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 80.5 and the percentage is 36%. The aspect of stringing words is 15 students have not been able to string together words. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 66.1 and the percentage is 56%. Aspect of identifying words 5 students cannot identify words yet and need teacher help. 4 students said the wrong word.  6 students remove letters and change words with similar ones. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 67.2 and the percentage is 60%.  The aspect of reading words that have no meaning from 3 aspects, namely the aspect of identifying letters 9, students cannot identify letters. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 80.5 and the percentage is 36%. Aspect of stringing the arrangement Aspect of word fluency 3 students are not fluent in stringing words. 2 students have not yet assembled the arrangement of the letters ng. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 62.5 and the percentage is 60%.  Aspect of identifying the word 5 students pronounce the wrong word. 2 students omit letters and 2 students change words with similar ones. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 63.9 and the percentage is 60%.  Aspects of fluency in reading aloud and reading comprehension from 5 aspects, namely the aspect of identifying letters 9 students have not been able to identify letters. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 80.5 and the percentage is 36%. Aspect of stringing word arrangement 7 students cannot string together words and still need teacher help. 3 students stammered in stringing together the wording. 3 students are not fluent in stringing words. 2 students have not yet assembled the arrangement of the letters ng and ny. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 60.89 and the percentage is 60%. Aspect of identifying words 7 students cannot identify words yet and need teacher help. 5 students pronounce the word incorrectly. 2 students omit letters and 2 students change words with similar ones. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 62.31 and the percentage is 60%. The reading fluency aspect of 3 students is not fluent in reading and needs teacher help. 12 students read with spelling, too long and faltering. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 62.01 and the percentage is 60%.  The aspect of the ability to answer questions about the content of reading 5 students cannot answer the questions. 6 original students in answering the questions. 2 students answered two questions incorrectly. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 64.32 and the percentage is 52%. Listening aspect (listening comprehension) from 2 aspects, namely the aspect of listening attentively 7 students do not focus on listening to stories. 5 students lack focus on hearing stories. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 71.76 and the percentage is 48%.  The aspect of the ability to answer questions about the text listened to 5 students could not answer the questions. 6 original students in answering the questions. 2 students answered two questions incorrectly. In this aspect, the average score obtained is 65.52 and the percentage is 52%. The results of student interviews caused the initial reading difficulties of grade I students of SD 29 Sanggau were Physiological Factors with a percentage of 12%, Intellectual Factors with a percentage of 12%, Environmental Factors, with a percentage of 16%. Motivation Factor with a percentage of 24% and Confidence with a percentage of 4%.

Abstract

The learning media used includes human-based, print, visual, and audio-visual media, which are aimed at helping students understand the basic reading material. This study examines the use of learning media in teaching reading for grade 1 students of SDN 9 Sungai Ambawang, an elementary school in a rural area with limited facilities. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, through observation and interviews with teachers. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that human-based media, such as lectures and discussions, were most predominantly used (56%), while visual and audio-visual media were underutilized (16% and 4%). Although the limitations of the means affect the use of more modern media, teachers' innovations in utilizing simple media are still effective in helping students learn to read. This study recommends increasing the use of visual and audio-visual media to increase students' interest and understanding, as well as the importance of paying attention to local contexts, including the use of regional languages in reading learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the initial reading ability of grade 1 students of SDN 38 Sungai Ambawang. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. The data collection technique in this study uses the EGRA test. The researcher used the EGRA test in assessing the initial reading ability of grade 1 students of SDN 38 Sungai Ambawang. The EGRA test consists of five aspects, namely knowing letters, reading words, reading words that have no meaning, fluency in reading aloud and comprehension of reading and listening (listening comprehension). The results of the study showed that the ability of grade 1 students of SDN 38 Sungai Ambawang in the aspect of recognizing letters was 77%, of which 5 out of 15 students were still unable to recognize letters. The aspect of word reading resulted from the average ability of students was 69%, of which 6 out of 15 students were found to be in the good to very good category in word reading. The aspect of reading words has no meaning found that 7 out of 15 students are still not good at reading words that do not mean the average score of the whole student, which is 60%. The aspects of fluency in reading aloud and comprehension were found as many as 7 out of 15 students were less able in reading aloud and reading comprehension, their average score was 60%. The aspect of listening (listening comprehension) was found as many as 7 out of 15 students who were not completely good at answering questions given by the researcher about the reading, read with an average score of 63% of their ability

Abstract

Reading is the first step for students to understand learning. This research aims to examine initial reading abilities in terms of the scope of literacy in grade 1 students at SD Negeri 51 Sungai Raya. The type of research used is qualitative. The subject of this research was class 1B students with a total of 20 students. The main data used are test sheets and interview sheets. The analysis consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentasion, data conclusions and data verificayion. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the initial reading ability of class 1 students in terms of the scope of literacy is said to be good because the focus of the first research was recognizing letters verry wel with a percentage of 87,5% of students’ initial reading ability; the seconf reseatch focus atated that the picture group was very good with a percentage 0f 97,5% of students’ initial reading ability; and the third research focus was reading one’s own name well with a percentage of 87,5% initial reading ability in class 1b students at SD Negeri 51 Sungai Raya

Abstract

This research and development aims to produce booklet learning media that is feasible, practical and effective. The problem in the learning to read process is the lack of reading comprehension skills in class IV due to the lack of learning media during the learning to read process, making students tend to get bored with learning and not interested in participating in learning to read. So many students can read but don't understand what they read. This is what encourages researchers to try to develop booklet learning media. The type of research used in this research is the Research and Development (R&D) method or research and development developed using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data analysis used is quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of this research and development are based on research results from experts, the results obtained from media experts were 95%, material experts were 100%, and language experts were 93.75% to obtain feasibility. Practicality results were obtained from student response questionnaires and effectiveness results were obtained from observational assessments of reading comprehension skills
