Abstract

This study explores transformative pedagogical innovations implemented at SMAS Al-Ma’arif NU Al-Manshuriyah Bonder, a faith-based senior high school in Central Lombok, Indonesia. Aiming to improve student learning outcomes and academic performance, the research adopts a qualitative case study approach. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews with teachers and students, classroom observations, and document analysis of instructional strategies. The findings highlight several key innovations, including the integration of digital technology in teaching, proactive dissemination of student competition opportunities, and the evolving role of teachers as academic mentors. These practices reflect a dynamic shift in instructional culture, emphasizing collaboration, motivation, and student-centered learning. The study underscores the importance of sustained institutional support and teacher development to ensure the long-term success of such innovations. The results contribute to broader discussions on pedagogical transformation in Islamic educational contexts, demonstrating how targeted innovations can drive academic achievement in under-resourced yet culturally rich learning environments.

Abstract

This study explores the internalization of Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah (Aswaja) values in character formation at Madrasah Aliyah Ta’limuasyibian, Pandan Indah Village. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. Findings reveal that Aswaja values—such as moderation (tawasuth), tolerance (tasamuh), balance (tawazun), and social responsibility (amar ma’ruf nahi munkar)—are systematically embedded in curricular activities, school culture, and daily student interactions. These values are integrated not only in religious subjects but also across general lessons, extracurricular religious rituals, and peer interactions. Key challenges include limited teacher training, insufficient contextual teaching resources, and external influences from digital media. Nevertheless, strong community engagement, exemplary leadership from teachers, and active student participation enhance the internalization process. The study highlights the significance of character education rooted in Islamic local wisdom as a strategic response to the moral challenges faced by youth in the digital age

Abstract

Blended learning combines face-to-face instruction with online learning, designed to provide greater flexibility in the teaching and learning process. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving students and teachers as research subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, including learning materials, exam results, and assignments given to students. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of blended learning has a positive impact on students' learning motivation, where students feel more motivated to learn independently and have the opportunity to review material at any time through online platforms. Blended learning also enhances the interaction between teachers and students, allowing students to ask questions and engage in discussions more freely. However, challenges such as limited internet access for some students and the lack of technological skills among some teachers reduce the effectiveness of this learning approach. In terms of academic performance, this study found that most students experienced improvement in their exam results and assignments after the implementation of the blended learning strategy, although some students faced difficulties in participating in online learning. Overall, blended learning proves to be effective in improving students' academic performance, as long as the existing challenges can be addressed, such as providing better internet access and offering technology training for teachers. This study suggests that Madrasah Aliyah Darunnajah Trenggalek continues to develop and utilize technology in learning to enhance the quality of education in the future.

The source of secondary data were obtained from other books and journals related to psycholinguistics and balaghah learning. Data collection techniques were carried out through two ways of reading data, namely symbolic level and semantic level. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification. This article showed that the important role of psycholinguistics in balaghah learning was to examine the background of the problem from errors in understanding the meaning of language and the steps for handling it (problem solving). Psycholinguistic implications in learning Balaghah was to provide a more effective learning atmosphere in strengthening students’ competence and to encourage students’ achievement.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the relationship between teacher training and the use of learning media on student learning achievement at MAN Tulungagung, Indonesia. This research used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research population was 243 teachers, and the sample was taken using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5%, resulting in a sample of 151 respondents. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a rating scale using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques used linear regression analysis and multiple regression using SPSS software. The research results showed a positive and significant relationship between teacher training and student learning achievement (β = 0.37, p < 0.05). Likewise, there is a positive and significant relationship between the use of learning media and student learning achievement (β = 0.45, p < 0.05). Multiple regression analysis showed that these two factors simultaneously have a significant influence on student learning achievement (β_Teacher Training = 0.35, p < 0.05; β_Learning Media = 0.42, p < 0.05). The research results highlight the importance of improving teacher training quality and using innovative and effective learning media to improve student learning quality. The synergy of these two factors can create a more holistic and in-depth learning experience for students. Therefore, an integrated strategy of teacher training and learning media-based curriculum development can improve student achievement.
