Abstract

Muhammadiyah Elementary Schools in Bantul face significant challenges in adopting productivity technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) for administrative tasks due to limitations in staff knowledge, infrastructure, and concerns about data security. To address these issues, a Community Service Program (PkM) was implemented to enhance administrative staff competencies through targeted training and mentoring. The program, conducted from June 13 to 20, 2024, at SD Muhammadiyah Tamantirto, involved 29 participants. It featured seminars, practical training, and hands-on mentoring focused on the application of productivity tools and AI in administrative workflows. Key activities included website development, data organization, and practical skill-building sessions, reinforced by pre-tests, post-tests, and participant satisfaction surveys to evaluate learning outcomes. The program successfully improved participants' ability to utilize modern technologies, fostering innovation and increasing administrative efficiency within the schools. The initiative highlights the potential for structured training and mentoring programs to overcome barriers to technology adoption in educational settings, contributing to the overall quality of school management and service delivery.

Abstract

The One Pesantren One Product (OPOP) program implemented at Pondok Pesantren Darul Falah Sukorejo aims to empower the pesantren’s economy and foster entrepreneurship among students by developing and marketing unique products. This study employs a qualitative case study approach to assess the implementation and impact of the OPOP program at the pesantren, focusing on the production and marketing of Beras Pink (Pink Rice). Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results reveal that while the pesantren has made notable progress in product development and marketing, it still faces challenges such as limited production capacity, difficulty accessing broader markets, and a lack of digital marketing expertise. The absence of a well-trained managerial team hampers the ability to scale the business, and although community participation is strong, the higher pricing of the products compared to similar market offerings remains a barrier to wider market acceptance. The study emphasizes the need to strengthen managerial and digital marketing skills to fully leverage the potential of the OPOP program. These findings highlight the critical role of entrepreneurial education in pesantren, providing valuable insights into how OPOP can be optimized to empower pesantren communities, ensuring sustainability and broader impact in other pesantren contexts

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of the role of school supervisors in supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum following the issuance of the Regulation of the Director General of Teachers and Education Personnel (Perdirjen GTK) Number 4831/B/HK.03.01/2023 at public junior high schools in Wates District, Kulon Progo. The research also explores the challenges faced by supervisors after the regulation and the efforts made to overcome them. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, conducted through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies involving supervisors and principals to understand their experiences and perceptions regarding the new supervisory roles. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data collection, condensation, display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that supervisors face several challenges, such as limited training, inadequate resources, and an imbalance between the number of supervisors and schools under supervision. Despite these constraints, supervisors have adopted collaborative and adaptive strategies to assist principals in designing more innovative and contextual learning programs. The study concludes that the transformation of the supervisory role into that of a facilitator and mentor contributes significantly to achieving more relevant and student-centered educational outcomes.
