Abstract

The distance measurement of pedestrian object to camera using a calibrated stereo camera has been investigated. The study was conducted by comparing Data-A and Data-B with different conditions and environment data interpretation. The stereo vision methods include camera calibration, image rectification, disparity counting, three-dimensional reconstruction and object segmentation. The object segmentation is performed using the Histogram of Oriented Gradient  feature to segment pedestrian object. Meanwhile, to determine the distance value is based on the information of the centroid of the bounding box segmented object.The calculations were performed using the Euclidian Distance calculation method to find the shortest distance between the centroid of the bounding box with both cameras. From the research results, the best accuracy was obtained  with measurement error of 4%. Abstract

The research has been done to the measurement and calculation of phantom volume of computed tomography (CT) Scan image. The aim of the study is to calculate the phantom volume based on CT Scan image analysis and find out the relationship between phantom volume and the variation of phantom position towards central ray. The calculation was done by using trapezoid integration method. The study used 130 kV, 93 mAs tube current, and 8 mm slice thickness. The resulting image is converted from gray scale image into a binary image. Then the surface area of the phantom was calculated. After getting the phantom surface area so that the volume of the phantom can be calculated. The calculation result shows that the phantom volume based on CT Scan image with perpendicular phantom, 30 mm to-the-left movement, 50 mm to-the-right movement towards central ray is 11160708 mm3, 11148172 mm3, and 11149136 mm3. The phantom volume based on CT Scan image with the least error percentage when phantom position is perpendicular towards central ray is 3,63%. 30 mm to-the-left and 50 mm to-the-right movement of phantom shows greater error percentage compared with perpendicular phantom towards central ray. The error percentage is from 3,74 % and 3,73 %. Phantom volume calculation is more accurate if phantom is perpendicular towards central ray. Keywords: volume, phantom, image, calculation, central ray

Abstract

Computer technology has been developed to support problem solving in human life. Nowadays, minicomputer has been the focus of development for its practicality. The role of technology has progressed from word processing programs to digital image processing programs. Digital image processing is one of technology processing using computer vision. The role of digital image processing is a common process in industries and has been use to increase their productivity. One of those utilizations is image processing in beverage industries to detect the number of empty bottles in crates. Digital processing which supports industries has been a factor to increase productivity. The innovation in the research was utilizing minicomputer called raspberry to be integrated with image processing system and motor servo control. The result is a system to distinguish various objects based on their colors and shapes using image processing system on raspberry based on open CV and to control motor servo to classify objects. The accuracy to classify red circular objects was 92,5% , for green circular objects was 97,5% , and red rectangular objects was 97,5% by using camera resolution 480x320.

Abstract

Color blindness is a condition in which a person can not distinguish certain wave light that can be distinguished by the normal eyes. Tests are currently being used (Ishihara Test and the Farnsworth Munsell) are simple. But, both of them have weakness in the form of test media used and requires appropriate room.       In this study, applies image processing to the development of color blindness level determination. Image processing is done by segmenting the pattern first with fuzzy color space segmentation. Having obtained the pattern of Ishihara image is used, then recombined with the initial image, so that the image obtained Ishihara with a segmented pattern. If the patient is able to see the pattern which is purposed, then continued to another image. However, if the patient can not see the pattern, then the pattern will be increased intensity of red, green and blue. By using a rule-based forward chaining, the determination of color blindness level is determined by the rules of the increase in the intensity of red, green and blue.          The research data is algorithm testing data which is created toward patients. Successful testing is done with total validation (normal patients and color deficiency) 97.8% and validation for diagnosted patients testing contained 85.7% of color deficiency. In the proposed algorithm is also used for the determination of the boundary wavelength capable of being viewed by people with color blindness.               Keywords: color blindness level, color segmentation, enhancements of color intensity

Abstract

The water recording that still uses manual system has many shortcomings, including error recording by officer, inaccurate of water meter reading, so that many customers feel disadvantaged. The purpose of the research is to make water usage system that can minimalize Mistakes done by the Officers by making prepaid payment system. The water flowed ON flowmeter will rotate the rotor so that it can result clock that becomes input for PIC16F877A to be displayed ON LCD. The number of clock will be characterized with the amount of water that was released so it obtains equation. The equation is put on Program so LCD Output is the amount of water flowed ON flowmeter. The result from Flowmeter characterization is 0.999. The flowmeter test is done by comparing it with standard tools, it obtains correlation coefficient 0,996 with 1,3 % error and test cost is 0.05 %.

Abstract

The progress and technology in development of transportation is increasing. However, this is also accompanied by the emergence of some undesirable negative effects such as increased number of traffic accidents. The increase in number of accidents is usually caused by various factors including human factors, vehicle factors, and environmental factors. The human factor is one of the most frequent factors causing traffic accidents. This system is designed as the manufacture of detection software for detect the condition of eyestrain in the driver of the vehicle using a camera connected to the computer as an image input device and measured performance of system develeopment. The method used in this system is to detect faces with segmentation RGB color to YCBCR color, eye detect with Roberts edge and the last method of simple logic as a classification of eye conditions. The system shows the results of classification with the highest accuracy is on video 1 of 85.40% and the lowest accuracy in video 7 is 13.67% whereas, the highest accuracy warning results on video 5 with 94.4% and the least accurate accuracy of warning with 25.26%.Keywords: YCBCR color space segmentation, eye fatigue, eye classification system

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. In this research, Ziehl-Neelsen sputum image is used to identify TB bacteria. Image segmentation process is done by using Otsu auto-thresholding to split object from its background in the ZN-stain sputum sample image. Morphology operation is done toward the splitting result to obtain the value of compactness, metric, and eccentricity of each object in the image which later will be used as input for the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) to be classified. Result of the research show that segmentation using Otsu method is capable to properly split the object expected as bacteria from its background. The network testing show that ANFIS architecture with gbellmf as membership function type will work properly if it has 2 MFs on each input with epoch of 40. Abstract

Water supply company is currently still using analog counter system to determine the volume of water that has been used by customer. After officers did manually recording then customer make a payment according  the volume of water used. This system raises many problems include, payment arrears, the recording of water  unsuitable and customers can’t to arranged the water. So, we needs a system that can to overcome it all. Water counters prepaid system uses token that contains important information such as the customer's ID, date of purchase and nominal credit tokens. To maintain secrecy and make disposable token, cryptographic process carried out by the method of transposition. To use the token decryption process is done by microcontroller PIC16F877. Decryption process performed by implementing the Boolean Algebra.  Results from this research are created of water counters prepaid system by using a token and has  100% success rate. Water counter prepaid system are expected to reduces cheating  on analog water counter and customers can arrange the water needs.Keywords: Water prepaid system, Token, Cryptographic, Transposition, PIC16F877A.

Abstract

In this modern era, the identification system is becomes an important thing to be able to analyze a person based on the characteristics he has. In general, a person's identification system is still using conventional techniques, such as using ID cards that are easy to get off and lost passwords or PINs that are easily forgotten. In this research, the design of the system to identify or recognize a person using biometrics, especially the hand using Laplacian of Gaussian edge detection and Contour Extraction was carried out. The identification system with biometrics has many advantages because it is always attached to the body and can not be separated with humans. Stages performed in image processing in the form of RGB image conversion into binary using threshodling, edge detection using Laplacian of Gaussian as well as contour extraction using chain code representation. The result of contour extraction is the number of pixels calculated on each segment of the finger divided into 8 sections. The matching process on the system is done by using euclidean distance, ie calculate the smallest distance of similarity between the test image and the database. The result of identification conducted in this research using the feature extraction method, obtained accuracy of 93.33%.Keywords: Finger Biometrics, Laplacian of Gaussian Edge Detection, Contour Extraction

Abstract

In this research has been made I / O simulator which is a tool to simulate input and output of a control system using Raspberry Pi. Raspberry Pi has 26 GPIO (General Purpose Input and Output) pins that can be used to control inputs and outputs on the I / O simulator. The 26 GPIO pins are divided into two main systems, is 13 GPIO pins that are odd numbered as inputs and 13 other GPIO pins which are even numbered as outputs. The Raspberry Pi GPIO pins are ordered as inputs and outputs using Python programming languages. The command is done by reading the switch as input signal input, then Raspberry Pi process the input signal and send data as output signal with LED flame on the I / O Simulator. The I / O simulator can simulate logic gates, as AND, OR, NOT, and ADD, and can run mini distillation plant.Keywords: Simulation, Input-Output, Raspberry Pi, Python
