Abstract

Teras38ike is an MSME that operates in the bicycle maintenance sector. Ergonomics problems are one of the main factors faced. Bicycle maintenance activities at UMKM Teras38ike have caused many physical complaints while working and after work. Therefore, this situation must be corrected immediately. The focus of the research is to improve worker posture by designing ergonomic work aids. Workers' complaints are measured using 3 methods, namely Nordic Body Map, Quick Exposure Check and Rapid Entire Body Assessment. Based on the results of the analysis of physical complaints, the bicycle assembly aids were then redesigned based on ergonomic principles. The best designs are realized in prototype form. Based on the results of testing on the prototype, data showed that there was a decrease in the physical complaints of operators tasked with maintaining bicycles, namely by a decrease in the score on the Nordic Body Map, Quick Exposure Check and Rapid Entire Body Assessment.

Abstract

CV. XYZ itself has several occupational health and safety standards implemented in its company. The standards applied to workers are the use of Personal Protective Equipment or PPE (Gloves, Shoes and Masks, Eye Protectors, Leg Protectors, Ear Protectors), handling work accidents, handling emergencies, handling work accidents and prohibiting smoking and carrying dangerous equipment items in factory area. The method used to assess the severity of work accidents that occurred at CV. XYZ is the HAZOP method using likelihood and sovereignity indicators which are then calculated using a risk matrix and then classified in the Hazop Worksheet. The results obtained from the analysis tend to be mild to moderate types of accidents caused by careless workers and a lack of signs listed at the factory so that workers often forget to wear personal protective equipment that has been set according to factory standards. Several solutions to reduce work accidents at CV. XYZ includes setting up production equipment, supervising workers, adding K3 signs in the factory area, adding spare PPE in the factory area.

Abstract

Productivity improvement can be done for the success of MSMEs, but MSMEs in Indonesia are experiencing obstacles, especially in tools in production activities that are not well organized and work that is uncomfortable when carrying out work processes. This research was conducted at UMKM DWI VARISI located in Jatiuwung, Gembor. UMKM DWI VARIASI sells different types of car exteriors that are sold through several available e-commerce sites. The purpose of this study is to identify the causes of productivity disruptions, where the research calculates the standard time, identifies complaints and analyzes work posture, designs powerful work aids, and provides suggestions for improvements to improve worker comfort. Before compounding the packing table at UMKM DWI VARIASI were carried out packing table analysis with reverse engineering for packing table parts, with the VDI 2221 design method. Meanwhile, to determine the standard time, use a stopwatch time study for the packing process and ergonomic methods to determine the complaints felt by workers. The ergonomic method used to determine complaints was used by the Nordic Body Map, and REBA questionnaires.

Abstract

The boarding house is an option for students or university students who study or go to school outside the city, far from their parents. The owners of boarding houses for rent will provide a study table in each room for the tenants to meet their needs. However, most of the study tables provided are less practical and less ergonomic, which will result in tenants lacking space to carry out other activities. Therefore, in this research, a redesign of multifunctional study table products available on the market was carried out using the reverse engineering method and VDI 2221. This research was carried out to design a study table that can solve the above problem, namely a study table that has several additional features to this product such as adding a multifunctional mattress feature that can be used as a sofa which will save space, adding a feature for placing the printer at the bottom of the table which will help the product's practicality in carrying out printing activities, adding a cool fan feature to the product This adds a double table feature to the study table, where one table is for placing a monitor and on the other table there is a cool fan for placing a laptop with a mattress as a seat. This research will be carried out using a questionnaire to determine people's needs and benchmark multifunctional study tables currently on the market to determine the size and features of competing products and adapt them to the product that will be redesigned.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the automotive manufacturing sector since 1984, producing various kinds of car and motorcycle mirrors, electric door mirrors, auto lamps, lamp cases, and grilles. The majority of the company's customers are large-scale automotive companies, so they want excellent product quality. In improving product quality in terms of price, materials and services, this company requires the right supplier to continue to compete and maintain the company. The problem with the company requires a method for selecting priority suppliers so that the company can meet customer demands and increase its competitiveness. To solve these problems, researchers used the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) method and the Technique for Orders Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. Supplier selection is carried out by considering 5 criteria, 10 sub-criteria, and 5 alternative suppliers. The results of the Fuzzy AHP calculation show that the first rank is SP2 with a weight of 0.392, followed by SP1 with a weight of 0.271, SP5 with a weight of 0.134, SP3 with a weight of 0.103, and finally SP4 with a weight of 0.100. Meanwhile, in the TOPSIS calculation, SP2 was obtained as the first rank with a weight of 0.847; followed by SP1 with a weight of 0.604, then SP4 with a weight of 0.506, SP5 with a weight of 0.488, and finally SP3 with a weight of 0.486. So the conclusion from this study is Supplier 2 (SP2) as the best alternative for the company to be prioritized in ordering flat glass raw materials based on the results of weight calculations using the FAHP and TOPSIS methods.

Abstract

Keterlibatan berbagai pemangku kepentingan sangat penting untuk pembangunan yang sesungguhnya yang dapat memfasilitasi pembangunan yang selaras dengan kebutuhan kolektif masyarakat, mendorong konsensus dan mendorong hasil yang berkelanjutan. Pemanfaatan potensi daerah yang ada saat ini belum optimal karena pola pengembangan dan pemanfaatannya terutama hanya berfokus pada bahan baku yang bernilai rendah. Oleh karena itu, seluruh pemangku kepentingan baik pemerintah daerah, masyarakat, maupun civitas akademika harus berkolaborasi secara aktif guna mewujudkan perubahan transformatif dalam sistem pengembangan potensi daerah. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk menawarkan sudut pandang dan gambaran yang menekankan sifat kolaboratif dari pertumbuhan potensi daerah, menyoroti perlunya upaya kolektif daripada hanya mengandalkan entitas individu. Metode yang digunakan pendekatan kualitatif, meliputi berbagai prosedur pengumpulan data kualitatif seperti wawancara, observasi, tinjauan pustaka, dan focus group Discussion (FGD). Hasilnya adalah perumusan konseptual yang bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan kemampuan terpendam masyarakat pedesaan melalui penerapan strategi prospektif yang dapat dilaksanakan secara efektif oleh pemerintah dan masyarakat setempat, dengan tujuan utama untuk mengembangkan kemandirian dan kemajuan. Abstract

Pekanbaru City has grown rapidly and become the center of Riau Province. Rapid population growth has had an impact on the economy and social but has led to social problems such as Commercial Sex Workers (CSWs) who roam a lot in karaoke public entertainment venues. This research aims to analyze the Strategy and identify the Strategy implemented by the Pamong Praja Police Unit. This research uses Mintzberg's theory in Asaretkha Adjane Annisawati (2022) which uses indicators: Plan, Ploy, Pattern, Position, Perspective. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The results of this study found that the strategy implemented was still less effective because of the lack of innovation and lack of assertiveness in policing, there were still many violations of regulations in entertainment venues. Therefore, there is a need for adjustments to the strategy of the Pekanbaru Pamong Praja Police Unit that is more adaptive, stricter law enforcement, and continuous updates to overcome this growing problem.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai implementasi program pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis potensi lokal yang dilaksanakan di Desa Kesumbo Ampai. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dalam mengoptimalkan pengelolaan sumber daya yang tersedia, sehingga mereka mampu mengambil keputusan dan tindakan yang mendukung kesejahteraan desa secara berkelanjutan. Dengan memanfaatkan potensi lokal seperti Ubi Manggalo, program ini berfokus pada peningkatan kemampuan masyarakat dalam menggali dan mengembangkan potensi desa yang selama ini belum dimaksimalkan. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, program ini mendorong partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam setiap tahap kegiatan, sehingga tidak hanya meningkatkan kemandirian, tetapi juga membangun kapasitas dan keterampilan dalam pengelolaan sumber daya lokal secara berkesinambungan. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan kemandirian masyarakat serta adanya keinginan yang kuat untuk memanfaatkan potensi lokal, yang diiringi dengan peningkatan keterampilan dan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mengelola potensi desa dengan lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Tingginya angka kecelakaan kapal di Indonesia memerlukan sistem navigasi dan komunikasi yang andal. Salah satunya adalah automatic identification system (AIS), pengembangan AIS sampai saat ini masih terus dilakukan. Implementasi protokol advanced message queuing protocol (AMQP) pada manajemen data automatic identification system (AIS) multi-station dilakukan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keamanan navigasi maritim. AIS PPNS sebagai objek penelitian memiliki beberapa station penerima data AIS yang tersebar di berbagai wilayah Indonesia seperti Surabaya, Semarang, dan Batam. Metode yang digunakan meliputi identifikasi masalah, studi literatur, analisis kebutuhan sistem, perancangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi performa sistem. RabbitMQ berperan sebagai broker dalam pengaturan pengiriman pesan AIS dari producer (station AIS) ke consumer (server AIS PPNS). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen data AIS dengan protokol AMQP mampu menangani trafik data yang tinggi dengan performa yang baik. Throughput pengiriman pesan stabil antara 2500 hingga 3500 pesan per detik, dan latensi pesan tetap rendah dan stabil, menunjukkan sistem yang dibangun dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dalam monitoring aktivitas kapal.

Abstract

UMKM atau Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah yang tergolong kedalam sektor bisnis adalah bidang jasa yaitu laundry. Penelitian dilakukan pada salah satu laundry yang terletak pada daerah Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara. Pada laundry tersebut kurang memiliki fasilitas yang sesuai dengan pekerjaan yang mereka lakukan yaitu menyetrika ataupun menggosok pakaian dengan menggunakan meja yang kurang ergonomis sehingga postur kerja menjadi kurang baik ataupun ergonomis. Berdasarkan kepada kuesioner NBM yang telah didapatkan bahwa para pekerja mengalami rasa sakit pada pagian tubuh sekitar leher, punggung, pinggang, dan bahu. Rasa sakit paling tinggi yang dirasakan oleh para pekerja adalah pada bagian punggung. Analisis postur kerja dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode REBA sehingga diperoleh bahwa kegiatan menyetrika maupun menggosok pakaian memiliki nilai resiko yang tinggi pada kesehatan dan harus untuk dilakukan sebuah perubahan yang maksimal. Modifikasi pada aspek ergonomis menggunakan metode SCAMPER. Modifikasi yang dilakukan akan disimulasikan dengan menggunakan Autodesk Fusion 360. Berdasarkan hasil modifikasi meja setrika laundry yang dilakukan diharapkan dapat untuk mengurangi beban kerja dan membantu memperbaiki postur kerja agar menjadi lebih ergonomis. Pada analisis REBA didapatkan skor 8 yang tergolong kedalam level high risk. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini untuk dapat mengetahui skor REBA yang selanjutnya akan digunakan dalam melakukan modifikasi terhadap meja setrika laundry. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut maka diperlukan modifikasi pada spesifikasi produk dengan dimensi panjang 120 cm, lebar 60 cm, dan tinggi 65 cm.
