Abstract

Abstract

This PRISMA-guided systematic review synthesizes evidence on holistic welfare-based compensation and its association with turnover intention. Searches across Scopus, ScienceDirect, Taylor & Francis Online, Google Scholar, and SINTA targeted 2018–2025 peer-reviewed publications in Indonesian/English directly linking compensation components work flexibility, work–family support/FSSB, compensation & justice, mental-health support/EAP, recognition, and leadership/resources to intention to quit. Thirty-two studies met inclusion criteria (four meta-analyses, three systematic reviews, one randomized field experiment, and twenty-four quantitative studies). Thematic synthesis and SWiM vote counting indicated 28/32 studies reported reduced turnover intention when holistic components were implemented; 3/32 reported increases associated with psychological violence, absenteeism, and burnout/stress; 1/32 showed a nonsignificant direct effect but an indirect pathway via job satisfaction. Key mediators included job satisfaction, engagement, and motivation, while work–family conflict and burnout decreased. Findings align with the Job Demands–Resources framework: augmenting job resources enhances psychological functioning and dampens demands, thereby lowering intention to quit. We recommend a Holistic Total Rewards bundle combining structured flexibility, accessible work–family/FSSB practices, fair and transparent pay, EAP/mental-health supports, recognition, and supportive leadership; future research should use longitudinal/experimental designs, standardize indicators, and assess cost–benefit

Abstract

Pekanbaru City has grown rapidly and become the center of Riau Province. Rapid population growth has had an impact on the economy and social but has led to social problems such as Commercial Sex Workers (CSWs) who roam a lot in karaoke public entertainment venues. This research aims to analyze the Strategy and identify the Strategy implemented by the Pamong Praja Police Unit. This research uses Mintzberg's theory in Asaretkha Adjane Annisawati (2022) which uses indicators: Plan, Ploy, Pattern, Position, Perspective. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The results of this study found that the strategy implemented was still less effective because of the lack of innovation and lack of assertiveness in policing, there were still many violations of regulations in entertainment venues. Therefore, there is a need for adjustments to the strategy of the Pekanbaru Pamong Praja Police Unit that is more adaptive, stricter law enforcement, and continuous updates to overcome this growing problem.

Abstract

Illegal logging in Indonesia is no small problem, with illegal logging causing damage to forest resources in terms of quantity, quality and ecosystem. Many efforts have been taken by the Indonesian government, but it has not been effective in dealing with this problem, due to limited supervision. From this problem, a chainsaw sound detection system was designed as an early indication of logging activity. This system is equipped with four MAX4466 sound sensors using the Convolutional Neural Network method. This system also uses data processing so that the chainsaw sound can be recognized by the system specifically and can communicate remotely with the use of LoRa RFM95. Thus, the system can identify the sound of the chainsaw with a maximum distance of 50 m, the success accuracy of the CNN model created reaches 97.5%, and can be integrated with WhatsApp in realtime.

Abstract

Lola snail (Trochus niloticus) is one of the largest sea snails that live in coral reefsat Indo Pacific region and Indonesia including Saparua Island, the province of Moluccas. In a few recent years, the exploitation of lola snails has been increasing, so that the population of lola snails in nature decreases.. The yield of lola snail in Saparua Island and in the archipelagos of Banda from 1979 until 1992 showed a decrease from around 4 tons of dry shells to only around 0.25 tons. Furthermore, this research was aimed to estimate the size structure, age structure, and the sex ratio of lola snails population in Saparua Island, the regency of Central Moluccas. The sampling of lola snails used transects strip method.  Each transect was 100 m long and 2 m wide, which were divided into 10 segments of 10 m x 2 m. Transect was laid perpendicular to the coast line started from the lowest fall of the tides to the coast. The Bhattacharya method was applied for data analysis. The frequency distribution of shell diameter revealed that lola snails in Saparua Island consisted of nine size classes and two different age classes, which indicated that the population of lola snails in Saparua Island had two periods of spawning. Finally, from this research it could be concluded that the sex ratio of lola snail was 1:1.
