Abstract

Electronic Dance Music or what we usually know as (EDM) is a genre of music that applies electronic technology to produce musical compositions dominated by dance rhythms and synthetic sounds. Since its emergence at the end of the 20th century, EDM has grown rapidly and includes various subgenres such as house, techno, trance, dubstep, and drum and bass. Using devices such as synthesizers, drum machines, and digital music production software, EDM creates dynamic and energetic audio experiences, often produced for consumption in nightclubs, music festivals, and digital platforms. EDM is not only an integral part of global music culture, but also influences social trends, consumer behavior, and the entertainment industry at large. Due to the rapid technology in this era, someone can easily make music (EDM) on their laptop or PC, but even so, there are things that need to be considered when someone has made music (EDM), namely marketing their work to the public, which is marketing something. The results we make or produce are an important aspect where if we don't market something we make then no one will enjoy or feel the results or work we make. Marketing a product or work requires several rules and attention as well as strategies so that the marketing achieves satisfactory and successful results. The aim of this research is to discuss the importance of careful marketing planning in supporting the successful marketing of works of art, as well as examining the various approaches used by music producers to market their work independently effectively in the digital era. The research that I use uses interview and documentation research, the research method is descriptive qualitative research, where I as a researcher try to describe the phenomena observed in a detailed and systematic way and provide a more holistic insight into the topic being researched with a source as a producer. The music is DFAN which comes from Bekasi, Indonesia.

Abstract

Traditional markets face various environmental challenges that ultimately affect their performance practices; this study aims to analyse digital literature on digital transactions with local knowledge as moderation. Sampling technique: This research was conducted in traditional markets in the Sidoarjo district and involved 263 respondents, including shop owners. Data analysis using quantitative methods, such as SmartPLS 4.0 software, was used to test the research hypothesis. Digital literacy significantly influences the adoption of digital transactions in traditional markets, such as QRIS. Good digital literacy and skills increase the likelihood of merchants adopting the technology significantly when moderated by local knowledge that reinforces the application of technology according to local culture and economic practices. Financial education also encourages digital transactions; merchants who understand financial management are more likely to switch to digital payment systems. Local knowledge strengthens the influence of financial education by tailoring technology to market needs. This study highlights the importance of digital literacy, financial education and the local socio-cultural context in modernising traditional markets in Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Islamic Branding and Culture on purchasing decisions in Sunan Ampel religious tourism in Surabaya, with positive emotions as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with an accidental sampling technique, which is sampling based on chance, where anyone who accidentally meets the researcher and meets the criteria as a respondent will be sampled. This study involved 130 respondents who were Sunan Ampel Surabaya religious tourism visitors. Data collection was done through online questionnaires, and data analysis was carried out using SmartPLS 4 software to test the relationship between the variables studied. The results showed that Islamic Branding positively and significantly influences visitor purchasing decisions. In addition, Culture has also been proven to have a significant positive influence on purchasing decisions. This study also found that consumers' positive emotions can significantly mediate the effect of Islamic Branding on purchasing decisions. However, different results were found on the culture variable, where positive emotions did not significantly mediate the influence of Culture on purchasing decisions. This finding shows the important role of emotions in strengthening the influence of Islamic Branding, but does not apply equally in cultural contexts. This research has implications for the development of Islamic Branding and Culture in influencing Purchasing Decisions with the role of Positive Emotions, especially in the development of existing marketing theories. The results of this study can also be a guideline or rationale for consumers in making purchasing decisions related to Islamic Branding and Culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of self reward on self-satisfaction and work motivation in working Generation Z (Female Gen Z) women. This generation is known to have high attention to work-life balance and mental health, so self reward is one of the factors that can increase self-satisfaction and work motivation. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research method. The results showed that self reward has a positive and significant effect on self-satisfaction and work motivation. In addition, self-satisfaction also has a positive effect on work motivation. These findings confirm that self reward strategies can improve the psychological well-being and work productivity of Female Gen Z. The implications of this study highlight the importance of implementing a balanced self reward in the work environment to increase employee satisfaction and motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the work environment on individual performance with motivation as a mediating variable in expedition couriers. individual performance with motivation as a mediating variable in expedition couriers in Sidoarjo. Using a quantitative approach with explanatory research method, data were collected through surveys using questionnaires and analyzed with SmartPLS 4. The results showed that SOP and work environment have a significant effect on motivation and individual performance. The results showed that SOP and work environment have a significant effect on motivation and individual performance. Motivation also affects individual performance, but does not play a mediating role in the relationship between SOP and work environment. role as a mediating in the relationship between SOP and work environment to individual performance. Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to find the influence of organizational culture and the contribution of transformational leadership to knowledge sharing in PMII organization. Methodology: This study adopts a quantitative methodological framework. Data acquisition was carried out via a structured questionnaire, targeting 250 respondents drawn from the population of active PMII members in Sidoarjo, selected through an incidental sampling technique. The analytical procedure encompassed various statistical diagnostics, and determination coefficient analysis were performed utilizing the SPSS. Results: The analytical findings reveal that, organizational culture Anda trasformational leadership significant effect on knowledge sharing. Findings: The research concluded that both organizational culture and transformational leadership are pivotal in fostering knowledge sharing. Novelty: The novelty of this study lies in uncovering the mutual role of organizational culture and transformational leadership in strengthening the outcomes of knowledge sharing. Originality: This study lies in its focus which examines the the dynamic between organizational culture and transformational leadership on knowledge sharing. Conclusion: This investigation demonstrates that all hypotheses are substantiated, there by offering empirical support for the assertion that both organizational culture and transformational leadership significant influence on knowledge-sharing dynamics within PMII organizations. Abstract

Pengangguran usia muda menjadi tantangan utama di Asia Tenggara, termasuk bagi santri Pondok Pesantren An-Nahdloh Malaysia yang menghadapi keterbatasan akses pendidikan dan ekonomi. Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sidoarjo menyelenggarakan pelatihan penyusunan business plan untuk membekali santri dengan keterampilan kewirausahaan yang aplikatif. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif yang mencakup teori, praktik kelompok, presentasi, dan evaluasi, program ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman santri tentang kewirausahaan dan kepercayaan diri mereka dalam merancang rencana bisnis. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan waktu dan variasi tingkat pemahaman, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dan potensi pengembangan lebih lanjut melalui peningkatan durasi pelatihan serta fasilitas pendukung. Youth unemployment poses a significant challenge in Southeast Asia, including for students of Pondok Pesantren An-Nahdloh Malaysia, who face limited access to education and economic resources. Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sidoarjo conducted a business plan training program to equip students with practical entrepreneurial skills. Using a participatory approach involving theory, group practice, presentations, and evaluations, this program successfully improved students' understanding of entrepreneurship and boosted their confidence in designing business plans. Despite challenges such as limited time and varying levels of understanding, the program yielded positive outcomes and offers potential for further development through extended training durations and enhanced facilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi digital yang diterapkan oleh Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Bawaslu) Kabupaten Sidoarjo dalam meningkatkan partisipasi publik melalui media sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan analisis dokumentasi media sosial selama periode pemilu 2024. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa strategi utama Bawaslu meliputi penyebaran konten edukatif, interaksi partisipatif melalui fitur media sosial, dan kombinasi pendekatan digital luring. Strategi ini berhasil meningkatkan keterlibatan publik, yang terlihat dari peningkatan interaksi di platform seperti Instagram serta pelaporan pelanggaran pemilu oleh masyarakat. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan akses digital di daerah terpencil masih menjadi kendala. Studi ini menawarkan kontribusi baru dalam memahami bagaimana media sosial dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memperkuat demokrasi melalui pengawasan pemilu. This study aims to analyze the digital communication strategy implemented by the General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Sidoarjo Regency in increasing public participation through social media. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving in-depth interviews, direct observation, and analysis of social media documentation during the 2024 election period. The findings show that Bawaslu's main strategies include the dissemination of educational content, participatory interaction through social media features, and a combination of digital offline approaches. This strategy has succeeded in increasing public engagement, as seen from the increase in interaction on platforms such as Instagram and reporting of election violations by the public. However, challenges such as limited human resources and digital access in remote areas are still obstacles. This study offers a new contribution to understanding how social media can be utilized to strengthen democracy through election supervision.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen operasional pada Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Sidoarjo, dengan fokus pada penghitungan Lalu Lintas Harian Rata-Rata (LHR) dan rekapitulasi data uji kendaraan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif, yang melibatkan wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung di lapangan untuk mengumpulkan data yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Dinas Perhubungan telah menerapkan praktik manajemen operasional yang baik, terdapat kendala teknis dan administratif yang mempengaruhi efisiensi penghitungan LHR dan rekapitulasi data. Data LHR dan rekapitulasi kendaraan terbukti menjadi dasar yang vital untuk perencanaan transportasi yang lebih efektif. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatan teknologi otomatis dan pelatihan bagi pegawai, yang diharapkan dapat memperbaiki kinerja operasional Dinas Perhubungan di masa depan. This study aims to analyze operational management at the Sidoarjo Regency Transportation Agency, focusing on the calculation of Average Daily Traffic (ADR) and recapitulation of vehicle test data. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, involving in-depth interviews and direct observation in the field to collect relevant data. The results of the study indicate that although the Transportation Agency has implemented good operational management practices, there are technical and administrative constraints that affect the efficiency of LHR calculations and data recapitulation. LHR data and vehicle recapitulation have proven to be a vital basis for more effective transportation planning. The contribution of this study lies in recommendations to improve the use of automated technology and training for employees, which are expected to improve the operational performance of the Transportation Agency in the future.

Abstract

Kemajuan era digital saat ini sangat pesat dalam semua sektor, terlebih dari sektor industri.  Persaingan digital dimasa sekarang saat tumpang tindih antar satu UMKM dengan yang lainnya, dikarenakan pemerataan pengetahuan tentang digitalisasi dalam sektor ini belum merata, tidak semua pelaku usaha memahami tentang digitalisasi untuk usaha mereka. Salah satu nya usaha penjahit pakaian “An-Nur” yang dimiliki oleh Ibu Ida yang berada di desa punggul, Kecamatan Gedangan yang telah didirikan sejak tahun 2013. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk membantu UMKM An-Nur bisa bersaiang dengan UMKM lain nya yang telah lebih dahulu memanfaatkan kemajuan digital. Pada pengabdian masyarakat ini metode yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan pelatihan terhadap penggunaan digital untuk melakukan pemasaran produk yang akan dijual. The progress of the digital era is currently very rapid in all sectors, especially in the industrial sector. Digital competition today overlaps between one MSME and another, because the distribution of knowledge about digitalization in this sector is not yet evenly distributed, not all business actors understand digitalization for their business. One of them is the clothing tailoring business "An-Nur" owned by Mrs. Ida in Punggul Village, Gedangan District which has been established since 2013. The purpose of this community service is to help MSME An-Nur compete with other MSMEs that have already utilized digital advances. In this community service, the methods used are observation, interviews, and training on the use of digital to market products to be sold.
