Abstract

The development of interactive quiz program is using Wondershare Quiz Creator to practice exploration ability of phenomenon physics student on item dynamics particle. Research of development of interactive quiz program have done at SMA Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung in class X.2 consists of 24 students. The data collection technique such as : test in form of pre test and post test to look the increase of exploration ability and enquette for the interesting of program quiz interactive. The result showed that 75% students are have increase in exploration ability on medium level. The interesting of interactive quiz program is very intersting with the equal value 81,5%. Based on the result concluded that interactive quiz program can assist to practice the exploration ability of student in physics phenomenon and interest to use in a lesson.Pengembangan program kuis interaktif memanfaatkan Wondershare Quiz Creator untuk melatih kemampuan eksplorasi fenomena siswa pada materi dinamika partikel. Penelitian pengembangan program kuis interaktif dilakukan di SMA Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung kelas X.2 dengan jumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan tes berupa pre test dan post test untuk melihat peningkatan kemampuan eksplorasi siswa dan angket untuk kemenarikan program kuis. Hasil pemakaian program kuis interaktif menunjukkan 75% siswa mengalami kenaikan kemampuan eksplorasi pada tingkat keefektifan sedang. Hasil uji kemenarikan program kuis interaktif sangat menarik dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 81,5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa program kuis interaktif dapat membantu melatih kemampuan eksplorasi siswa terhadap fenomena fisika dan menarik untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.Kata kunci: Kemampuan eksplorasi, program kuis interaktif tipe multiple choice, dan Wondershare Quiz Creator

Abstract

This research is aimed to identify the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning through the experimental methods are viewed from Skill Process of Science (SPS) and the results of students learning, and knowing SPS relations with the results learn. Design experiments on this research use form Quasi-Eksperimental Design with type Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Engineering analysis of data SPS used data score observation to the process of learning and the testing of hypotheses test used One Sample T Test, analysis of data learn to use score N-gain and the testing of hypotheses test used Independent Sample T Test, while the testing of hypotheses relations SPS and results learn to used test Bivariate Correlation Test. Based on the research results obtained an average of SPS is greater than the specified indicator. On the results of studying, obtaining a score of N-gain an average of student learning outcomes in class experiments (guided inquiry learning) higher than the class of the control (conventional learning). While the correlation between SPS with the results of the study were very strong. The above results indicate that guided inquiry learning through the experimental method is effective when reviewed out of SPS and the results of student learning. And there is a positive and significant relationship between SPS and student learning outcomes.Keywords : Guided inkuiry, experiments, SPS, the result of the study.

Abstract

A module is a lesson material presented systematically with understandablelanguage for students according to their ability and knowledge levels, so that thestudents will be able to learn autonomously with or without teacher assistances.However, there is no module in State Junior High School 20 in Bandar Lampungthat is in accordance with grade-based curriculum (or KTSP) 2006. Therefore, amodule that is able to improve student’s autonomous learning is required todevelop. The learning media development design of printed-based physic module(or MFBC) is adapted from instructional media development process by Sadiman(2008) as the reference that consists of need analysis of development program,development design, product development, and product evaluation, producttesting and product printing. This evaluation consists of formative evaluation I,formative evaluation II, formative evaluation III. In material test by experts, thescore was 2,8 and this belonged to good category. The second evaluation, thedesign test by experts, the score was 2,9. This score belonged to good categoryand was in accordance with BSNP standard. The third evaluation was on-on-onetest that was conducted to three students from different classrooms (classroomVIID, VIIE and VIIG) and the score was 3,63. It belonged to good category. The lasttest was field test to find out the effectiveness and attractiveness of the module.Field test was conducted to 36 students in VIIE classroom in State Junior HighSchool 20 in Bandar Lampung. The effectiveness test result showed 77,7%student accomplished the material and they got average marks of 74,07, and itwas above the minimum criteria of accomplishment (or KKM). Attractiveness,easiness, and benefit tests were conducted to students who experienced learningusing developed module by giving them questionnaires. The results showed thatthe developed module was very interesting, very easy and very beneficial.Keywords: development research, learning media, printed-based media, module

Abstract

Instructional media in particular can serve as a means to provide a visual experience to encourage and motivate students to learn, clarify and simplify the concept and enhance absorption student learning . The purpose of this study is to develop a KIT (sciences box) on the material of simple plane and worksheets that can be used as a single unit by applying experimental and demonstration methods for eighth grade students of SMP Satu Atap 1 Kedondong. Development is done by adapting the model of media development from Suyanto and Sartinem (2009 ) which includes the seven stages of development. After testing the product is obtained that the KIT and worksheets are proper and interesting to use as a medium of learning. This research obtain product in the form of KIT and worksheets by applying the demonstration and experimental mothods.Media pembelajaran secara khusus dapat berfungsi sebagai sarana yang dapat memberikan pengalaman visual kepada siswa untuk mendorong motivasi belajar, mempermudah konsep serta mempertinggi daya serap belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan KIT (Kotak Instrumen Terpadu) pada materi pesawat sederhana beserta LKS (Lembar Kerja Siswa) yang digunakan sebagai satu kesatuan dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi maupun eksperimen untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP Satu Atap 1 Kedondong. Pengembangan ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan media Suyanto dan Sartinem (2009) yang meliputi tujuh tahapan. Setelah dilakukan uji coba produk diperoleh bahwa KIT dan LKS menarik dan bermanfaat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memperoleh produk berupa KIT dan LKS dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi maupun eksperimen.Kata kunci: KIT, LKS , pesawat sederhana

Abstract

The results of needed analysis is known that Learning activities of students generally rely on print books as instructional media. It make the students feel bored and less interested and also feel difficult on physics subject. Consider the problem, researchers developed an multimedia interactive tutorial using a contextual approached that feasible and effective. Development procedures include: analyzing of needed, formulating learning goals, formulating the item of subject, formulating successfull measurement, drafting, validating, testing and revising, and also the final product. Products have been developed tested by the experts and tested on students. Experimental results show that the products used are very attractive, very easy to use, and very useful. The results of learning students stated that the multimedia interactive tutorial that have been developed is effective and feasible to be used as a instructional media.Hasil analisis kebutuhan diketahui bahwa Kegiatan belajar siswa umumnya hanya mengandalkan buku cetak sebagai media pembelajaran. Hal tersebut membuat siswa merasa bosan dan kurang tertarik serta mengalami kesulitan terhadap pelajaran fisika. Mempertimbangkan masalah tersebut, peneliti mengembangkan multimedia interaktif tutorial dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual yang layak dan efektif. Prosedur pengembangan meliputi: analisis kebutuhan, merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran, merumuskan butir-butir materi, perumusan alat ukur keberhasilan, menyusun naskah, melakukan validasi, melakukan uji coba dan revisi, dan produk akhir. Produk yang dikembangkan telah diuji oleh ahli dan diujicobakan pada siswa. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa produk yang digunakan sangat menarik, sangat mudah digunakan, dan sangat bermanfaat. Hasil belajar siswa menyatakan bahwa multimedia interaktif tutorial yang dikembangkan efektif dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop the student worksheet with inquiry approach and to know the attractiveness, easiness, expediency and effectiveness of the practicum simulation of photoelectric effects. The method used was research and development by Dick and Carry, includes analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results of practicum simulation of photoelectric effects development research in MAN 1 Metro at class XII obtained the score of attractiveness was 3.10 (attractive), easiness was 2.77 (easy), and expediency was 2.70 (beneficial) and the use of practicum simulation on the learning was effective because 77% of students got score more than 75.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan simulasi praktikum efek fotolistrik berbantuan lembar kerja siswa dengan pendekatan inkuiri dan mengetahui kemenarikan, kemudahan, kemanfaatan, serta keefektifan simulasi praktikum efek fotolistrik. Metode yang digunakan yaitu research and developmen dari Dick and Carry, meliputi analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan simulasi praktikum efek fotolistrik yang dilakukan di MAN 1 Metro kelas XII diperoleh skor kemenarikan 3,10 (menarik), kemudahan 2,77 (mudah) dan kemanfaatan 2,70 (bermanfaat), serta penggunaan simulasi praktikum efek fotolistrik pada pembelajaran dikatakan efektif karena 77% siswa mendapat nilai di atas 75.Kata kunci: efek fotolistrik, inkuiri, pengembangan, praktikum, simulasi.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations conducted on science text books in SMP Negeri 1 Buay Nations elder King, less able to increase students' know ledge of newton law materials, there fore researchers this problem-based student book. Based on internal testing results, this book meets product development 99% of the development means that the book has been in accordance with the specifications of the product are planned. Material suitability test results, 99% or qualitatively describe the material in the book is very appropriate. External test results, level 3.5 is qualitatively the attractiveness of the product or good used books appealing as learning resources. Based on the study conducted by a group learning test 83% of students achieving minimum standards of completeness criteria specified, it indicates book research results effectively used as a learning resource.Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan terhadap buku pelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 1 Buay Pemuka Bangsa Raja, kurang mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang materi hukum newton, oleh sebab itu peneliti menggembangkan buku siswa berbasis masalah ini. Berdasarkan hasil uji internal, buku pengembangan ini memenuhi produk 99% berarti buku hasil pengembangan telah sesuai dengan spesifikasi produk yang direncanakan. Hasil uji kesesuaian materi, 99% atau secara kualitatif materi yang di paparkan dalam buku sangat sesuai. Hasil uji eksternal, tingkat kemenarikan produk 3,5 secara kualitatif buku menarik atau baik digunakan sebagai sumber belajar. Berdasarkan kajian pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh kelompok uji 83% siswa mencapai standar kriteria ketuntasan minimal yang ditetapkan, hal ini menunjukkan buku hasil penelitian efektif digunakan sebagai sumber belajar.Kata kunci: penelitian dan pengembangan, buku fisika, pembelajaran berbasis masalah

Abstract

This research aimed to develop an interactive quiz that attractive, easy, useful and effective to train the observation ability on the kinematics and dynamics. The development included need analysis, design of product, expert validation, first revision, test-drive limited, second revision, field test, third revision and final product. The field test was tried out to the students grade X MIPA 6 SMAN 1 Metro. The result of the field test showed that the attractiveness score of interactive quiz was 3.64 (very attractive), easiness score was 3.48 (very easy) and usefulness score was 3.67 (very useful). Based on KKM that applied in the class, there was 86.00 % of the students have completed the test with the average score was 82.76. Based on these results, it can be concluded that interactive quiz was very attractive, very easy, very useful and effective as media to train observation ability of the students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kuis interaktif yang menarik, mudah digunakan, bermanfaat dan efektif untuk melatih kemampuan pengamatan pada materi kinematika dan dinamika. Pengembangan tersebut meliputi analisis kebutuhan, desain produk, validasi ahli, revisi pertama, uji coba terbatas, revisi kedua, uji lapangan, revisi ketiga dan produk akhir. Uji lapangan dicobakan kepada siswa kelas X MIPA 6 SMAN 1 Metro. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa, skor kemenarikan dari kuis interaktif adalah 3,64 (sangat menarik), skor kemudahan 3,48 (sangat mudah) dan skor kemanfaatan 3,67 (sangat bermanfaat). Berdasarkan KKM yang digunakan di kelas, sebanyak 86,00 % siswa tuntas, dengan nilai rata-rata 82,76. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kuis interaktif sangat menarik, sangat mudah, sangat bermanfaat dan efektif digunakan sebagai media untuk melatih kemampuan pengamatan siswa.Kata kunci: kuis interaktif, kemampuan pengamatan, kinematika dan dinamika

Abstract

The goals of this research were to describe the cognitive learning outcomes, the science process skills (SPS), the character, the activities, and students’ attitudes toward the use of media ICT tutorial as a subtitute experiment. The research has been done in the first semester of 2013/2014 in SMP Negeri 5 Tulang Bawang Tengah. The sample of this research was 24 students class of VIIC in SMP Negeri 5 Tulang Bawang Tengah. The researcher concludes by the use of media ICT tutorial as subtitute experiment that the differences in cognitive learning outcomes, can bring up SPS, to build character, to increase the activity of students, and to foster positive attitudes of students toward the use of ICT media tutorial as a subtitute experiment in the learning measuring instruments.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar ranah kognitif, keterampilan proses sains (KPS), karakter, aktivitas, dan sikap siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media TIK tutorial sebagai subtitute eksperimen. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2013/2014 di SMP Negeri 5 Tulang Bawang Tengah. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 24 siswa kelas VIIC SMPN 5 Tulang Bawang Tengah. Kesimpulan penelitian setelah pemanfaatan media TIK tutorial sebagai subtitute eksperimen terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar ranah kognitif berdasarkan nilai pretest dan posttest, memunculkan KPS, membentuk karakter, meningkatkan aktivitas, siswa serta menumbuhkan sikap positif siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media TIK tutorial sebagai subtitute eksperimen dalam pembelajaran alat ukur.Kata kunci: aktivitas siswa, karakter siswa, keterampilan proses sains, media tik tutorial, subtitute eksperimen.

Abstract

Efforts to develop scientific literacy of student is done by applying learning invites students to learn science by confirm-ing something by reason, facts, and consideration of the arguments. This learn-ing process invites students to hone their skills so that the argument that science is able to solve the problems exiting in the environment. This study aims: (1) to describe the influence of argumentation skills to science literacy, and (2) knowing increase science literacy students by using argumentation skills. The result show that: (1) there is a positive linear effect and significant correlation between ar-gumentation skills against science literacy; (2) a significant increase scientific lit-eracy of student by using argumentation skills.Proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung di sekolah saat ini kurang memperhatikan literasi sains siswa. Upaya pengembangan literasi sains siswa dilakukan dengan menerapkan pembelajaran yang mengajak siswa untuk belajar sains dengan membenarkan sesuatu berdasarkan alasan, fakta, dan pertimbangan argumen. Proses pembelajaran ini mengajak siswa untuk mengasah skill argumentasinya sehingga mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan sains yang ada di lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan pengaruh skill argumentasii terhadap literasi sains siswa, dan (2) mengetahui peningkatan literasi sains siswa dengan menggunakan skill argumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh linear yang positif dan signifikan antara skill argumentasii terhadap literasi sains siswa; (2) terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dari literasi sains siswa menggunakan skill argumentasi.Kata kunci: literasi sains, model pbl, skill argumentasi
