Abstract

This study aims to analyze the readiness of poultry slaughterhouse operators in Socah Subdistrict, Bangkalan Regency towards halal certification. Halal certification is increasingly important as the demand for halal products rises globally. Based on PMA No. 26/2019, halal certification must be implemented gradually, starting with food and beverage products. However, in Bangkalan, it is still difficult to ensure that poultry products sold meet halal standards. This study used a qualitative method with a combination of literature study and field observation. The results show that business actors are not ready to implement halal certification, mainly due to a lack of information and understanding of the certification process. Despite having a Business Identification Number (NIB), they have not proceeded to the halal certification process. Limited access to information, financing, and lack of support from the government are the main obstacles. Business actors show readiness to participate in socialization and training related to halal certification to understand the steps required. This study suggests increasing socialization and training to encourage business actors to obtain halal certification and increase awareness and compliance with applicable regulations. Abstract

This research aims at examining the HaiLotim Facebook page as a well-known source of informational media in the East Lombok area, especially in relation to social politics and support for local businesses. Data from 317 Hailotim Facebook page posts from May 2024 to June 2024 were collected and analyzed through the critical discourse analysis perspective of Norman Fairclough, which consists of three dimensions: text analysis, processing analysis, and social analysis. Research findings reveal the dual the role of HaiLotim Facebook page: first, as a discussion forum for local political movements, which is exemplified by posts that facilitate community dialogue regarding regional elections; and second, as a platform for local economic growth through the promotion of local business and tourist attractions. Since the page’s market target is based in East Lombok, the language employed in HaiLotim's posts is characterized by its casual, localized style, enhancing engagement and accessibility among its predominantly East Lombok audience. Nevertheless, the study acknowledges limitations regarding the generalization of the findings to other platforms and timeframe, as well as the need for wider investigation of social networking impacts and regional variations.

Abstract

Standardized evaluations are a widely used tool in education and assessment. These evaluations are carefully designed to present uniform questions and instructions to all participants, ensuring consistent measurement of a student’s knowledge or skills in a specific area. They play a crucial role in assessing and enhancing students’ proficiency in the English language. Hence The purpose of this study is to examine the washback effect of standardized testing in the English language subject. The researcher employed a descriptive qualitative method, utilizing a sample of 10 eighth-semester students majoring in English and 3 lecturers at Hamzanwadi University. The sampling technique used was random sampling, while data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of this study reveal that standardized tests have a significant impact on the teaching and learning process. These tests often create pressure for both students and teachers, which can lead to stress and anxiety during examinations. Additionally, they can inhibit creativity in teaching methods and result in students struggling to understand the material. Consequently, students may become focused solely on passing exams rather than genuinely comprehending the subject matter. Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan penunjang keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar, karena membuat pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan. Seperti pada penelitian yang dilaksanakan di TK Plus Al Hikmah, masih banyak anak mengalami kesulitan mengucapkan dan mengingat bentuk huruf. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media papan flanel dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B usia 5-6 tahun sebanyak 26 orang anak, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan angket. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif deskriprif yang diperoleh dari penilaian produk berupa saran dan masukan dari ahli dan analisis data statistik deskriptif kuantiatif berupa jumlah skor yang dihitung menggunakan teknik statistik dari hasil penilaian angket. Hasil validitas kelayakan dari ahli materi dan media memperoleh presentase 91% kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Hasil penilaian guru  media papan flanel dinyatakan “Sangat Layak” nilai rata-rata sebesar 82,%. Hasil respon peserta didik menyatakan media papan panel “Sangat Baik”, dengan nilai rata-rata persentase 90,2%. Hasil peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan memperoleh nilai BSB dengan nilai rata-rata 81% , hasil menunjukkan media papan flanel sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun. Learning media is a supporter of the success of the teaching and learning process because it makes learning more enjoyable. As in research conducted at Kindergarten Plus Al Hikmah, many children still have difficulty pronouncing and remembering letter shapes. Therefore, this research aims to develop flannel board media to improve the beginning reading skills of children aged 5-6 years. The subjects of this research were 26 group B children aged 5-6 years, using the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the Borg and Gall development model. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques obtained from product assessments in the form of suggestions and input from experts and quantitative descriptive statistical data analysis in the form of total scores calculated using statistical techniques from the results of questionnaire assessments. The feasibility validity results from material and media experts obtained a percentage of 91% for the "Very Eligible" criteria. The results of the teacher's assessment of flannel board media were declared "Very Appropriate" with an average score of 82%. The results of student responses stated that the panel board media was "very good," with an average percentage score of 90.2%. The results of improving initial reading ability obtained a BSB score with an average score of 81%. The results show that flannel board media is very suitable for use in early reading learning for children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Hospitalization is a condition that causes a child to stay in a hospital to become a patient and undergo various treatments. Play therapy is a good activity to overcome anxiety due to hospitalization, so as to speed up the healing process of children's pain, one of which is playdought play therapy. This study aims to determine the effect of plaitisin play therapy on anxiety levels in preschool-aged children (3-6 years) while undergoing hospitalization at Mekar Sari hospital in 2024.This type of research is a quantitative research with a Quasi experiment design and a one-group pretest-posttest design approach which was carried out in May 2024. The population in this study is all preschool-age children (3-6 years old) who were hospitalized at Mekar Sari Preschool Hospital (3-6 years) in May 2024, and the method used in this sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method totaling 75 respondents. Using the Kolmogorov Smirnov statistical test and followed by the paired sample t-test because the data is normally distributed. The tools used in this study are questionnaires and plaitisin play therapy. Based on the results of the study with the Paired Sample-Test test showing that p value = 0.015 (< 0.05) or less than alpha 0.05, it can be decided that the test result is H0 rejected and Ha accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of plaitisin play therapy on anxiety levels in preschool children (3-6 years old) while undergoing hospitalization. It is hoped that health workers, especially nurses in the Children's Care Room, can minimize the level of children's anxiety during hospitalization by continuing to maintain communication with children and families, creating a safe and comfortable environment and conducting play therapy, so that children feel comfortable during the hospitalization process. Keywords: Hospitalization, Plaitisin Play Therapy, Preschool Age (3-6 Years)  ABSTRAK Hospitalisasi adalah suatu keadaan yang menyebabkan seorang anak harus tinggal di rumah sakit untuk menjadi pasien dan menjalani berbagai perawatan. Terapi bermain merupakan kegiatan yang baik untuk mengatasi cemas akibat hospitalisasi, sehingga mempercepat proses penyembuhan sakit anak, salah satunya adalah terapi bermain plastisin (playdought). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi bermain plaitisin dengan tingkat kecemasan pada anak usia prasekolah (3-6 tahun) saat menjalani hospitalisasi di rumah sakit Mekar Sari  tahun 2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi experiment dan pendekatan one grup pretest-posttest design yang dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2024. Populasi dalam  penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak usiaprasekolah (3-6 tahun) yang mengalami hospitalisasi di Rumah Sakit Mekar Sari prasekolah (3-6 tahun) pada bulan Mei 2024, dan metode yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel ini dilakukan dengan metode purposive samplingberjumlah 75 responden. Menggunakan uji statistic Kolmogorov Smirnov dan dilanjutkan dengan uji paired sample t-test karena data berdistribusi normal. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dan terapi bermain plaitisin. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan uji Paired Sample-Test menunjukkan bahwa p value = sebesar 0,015 (< 0,05) atau lebih kecil dari alpha 0,05 maka dapat diambil keputusan bahwa hasil pengujian adalah H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh terapi bermain plaitisin dengan tingkat kecemasan pada anak usia prasekolah (3-6 tahun)  saat menjalani hospitalisasi. Diharapkan agar petugas kesehatan khususnya perawat di Ruang Perawatan Anak dapat meminimalkan tingkat kecemasan anak selama hospitalisasi dengan terus menjaga komunikasi pada anak dan keluarga, menciptakan lingkunan yang aman dan nyaman serta melakukan terapi bermain, sehingga anak merasa nyaman selama proses hospitalisasi.  Kata Kunci: Hospitalisasi, Terapi Bermain Plaitisin, Usia Prasekolah (3-6 Tahun)

Abstract

Kerusakan lingkungan akibat akumulasi sampah menjadi salah satu isu global yang mendesak untuk diatasi. Gaya hidup zero waste hadir sebagai solusi alternatif dalam mengurangi dampak negatif sampah terhadap alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana penerapan gaya hidup zero waste dapat menjadi upaya konkret dalam penyelamatan lingkungan. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, studi ini menggambarkan praktik-praktik zero waste yang mencakup pengurangan konsumsi, penggunaan kembali, dan daur ulang barang, serta peran individu dalam membentuk kesadaran ekologis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa gaya hidup zero waste tidak hanya mampu menekan volume sampah, tetapi juga membentuk pola hidup berkelanjutan yang ramah lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, gaya hidup ini perlu terus dikampanyekan sebagai bagian dari gerakan penyelamatan bumi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi secara mendalam faktor-faktor yang menjadi penghambat pertumbuhan usaha took serba 35.000 di Banten. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, digunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis, memanfaatkan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Data dikumpulkan melalui berbagai teknik seperti observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, diskusi kelompok terarah (Focus Group Discussion/FGD), serta telaah dokumen. Seluruh data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode marketing mix untuk menjamin hasil yang efektif. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa perkembangan UMKM di lokasi penelitian terhambat oleh beberapa aspek utama, antara lain: kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM), kelemahan dalam pengelolaan usaha (manajemen), sikap atau pola pikir pelaku wirausahawan, dan pemasaran. Sebagai bentuk solusi atas temuan ini, disarankan untuk dilakukan riset lanjutan dan FGD tambahan guna merancang pola komunikasi dan edukasi yang efektif mengenai pentingnya tata kelola bisnis dan perencanaan strategi yang tepat dalam menjalankan aktivitas usaha.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of the Clustering Technique on students’ achievement in writing recount texts at the ninth grade of SMPN 5 Masbagik in the school year 2025–2026. The study applied a true experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group. The sample consisted of 60 students selected through simple random sampling, with 30 students in the experimental group and 30 in the control group. The instrument used was a writing test assessed on content, organization, vocabulary, and language use, with proven validity and high reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.936). The experimental group was taught recount text writing using the clustering technique, while the control group received conventional instruction. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality and homogeneity tests, and an independent sample t-test. The results revealed that the experimental group's mean score improved from 56.33 (SD = 6.52) in the pre-test to 71.40 (SD = 7.38) in the post-test, while the control group's mean score increased from 49.87 (SD = 5.20) to 53.40 (SD = 5.78). The independent sample t-test indicated a significant difference between the post-test scores of the two groups (t = 10.513, p < 0.05), confirming that the clustering technique significantly enhanced students' writing achievement. Based on the data analysis, the researcher concluded that clustering is an effective pre-writing strategy to improve the ability to generate and organize ideas, leading to better recount text writing performance.

Abstract

This study explores the perceptions of tutors from the English Student Association (ESA) at Hamzanwadi University regarding their participation in a community service program held from 2022 to 2024. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with purposively selected participants. The study findings indicate that the community service program has had a significant impact on the academic, social, and personal development of prospective tutors. Most tutors considered this activity a valuable experiential learning platform that improved their communication, teaching skills, self-confidence, and leadership. This analysis is supported by experiential learning theory (Kolb, 1984), the concept of service-based learning (Dewey & Freire), and the principles of assistive therapy (Riessman, 1965), which collectively demonstrate that community service not only benefits the community but also fosters meaningful personal growth among participating students. This study recommends continued support and institutionalization of community service programs as part of professional and character development in higher education.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors contributing to students’ speaking anxiety and the types of anxiety experienced by Grade 11 students at SMA Tahfiz Al-Batthawi NWDI Kerongkong in the 2025/2026 academic year. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires from six students. The findings reveal four main factors causing speaking anxiety: limited vocabulary, difficulties in pronunciation, fear of making mistakes, and fear of negative evaluation. The study also identifies three types of anxiety: state anxiety, trait anxiety, and situation-specific anxiety. These findings highlight that speaking anxiety significantly hinders students’ confidence and performance in English learning. The results suggest that teachers should create supportive classroom environments and provide strategies to reduce anxiety, thereby encouraging students to participate more actively in speaking activities.
