Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang “Persepsi Stakeholders Terhadap Manajemen Lembaga Pendidikan Berbasis Digital di MTsN 1 Palu”. Penelitian ini berfokus pada: (1)Bagaimana perencanaan pembelajaran berbasis digital di MTS Negeri 1 Palu (2) Bagaimana pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis digital di MTS Negeri 1 Palu dan (3) Bagaimana evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis digital di MTS Negeri 1 Palu Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan perencanaan pembelajaran berbasis digital di MTs Negeri 1 Palu, (2) Menganalisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis digital di MTs Negeri 1 Palu dan (3) Mengungkapkan evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis digital di MTs Negeri 1 Palu Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskrptif. Metode yang digunakan peneliti dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Agar data yang diperoleh terjamin validitas dan kredibilitasnya maka diadakan pengecekan keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian (1) Perencanaa pembelajaran berbasis digital di MtsN 1 Palu (a) Perencanaan pembelajaran berbasis digital, berikut beberapa aspek yang sudah dilakukan di MtsN 1 Palu adalah tujuan pembelajaran yang jelas, menentukan platform pembelajaran berbasis digital, desain konten pembelajaran, penjadwalan dan rencana pembelajaran, pelatihan dan dukungan dan menetapakan biaya selama pembelajaran berbasis digital (b) Sekolah telah menjalankan keterbukaan biaya selama pembelajaran digital dengan melibatkan orang tua dalam proses penetapan dan arah pembiayaannya. (2) Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran berbasis digital di MtsN 1 Palu (a) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis digital, berikut beberapa aspek yang sudah dilakukan di MtsN 1 Palu adalah persiapan teknologi, pengembangan konten, interasksi dan keterlibatan, pengelolaan waktu dan dukungan teknis dan pedagogis. Proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran sudah efisien dan efektif (b) Platform yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran basis digital di MT.s. Negeri 1 Palu meliputi: google site, E-Learning, Quiziz, Google classroom, Canva, Filmora, Alef Education, Power point interaktif, Power point PopAi. (3) Evaluasi Pembelajaran berbasis digital di MtsN 1 Palu

Abstract

The village website is a medium for the disclosure of various public information by the government. In line with this, Sumber Baru village, Seputih Banyak District, Central Lampung has a village website that the government can use as a communication medium for village programs, but its management is still not optimal. The aim of this service is to provide assistance to village operators to manage websites, especially in terms of writing articles, taking photos and managing website interface. The method used in this mentoring activity is the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) method. This mentoring activity will be carried out in September-October 2023 and consists of 5 stages of mentoring, namely coordination, socialization, training, mentoring and evaluation. After completing the mentoring activities, the results of the mentoring can be seen directly on the village website and show that there has been an improvement in website management, such as an increase in the number of news/activities in Sumber Baru Village that are reported on the website. It is hoped that mentoring activities like this will be further increased to improve the quality of village human resources which will have an impact on improving public communication by the village government.            Keywords: mentoring; public communication; village website

Abstract

The aim of research is very important in achieving quality,both in the process and in educational graduates. The learning process also has the potential to contribute to the impact of low quality education. This means that learning is very dependent on the teacher's ability to carry out or package the learning process.The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which aims to improve student learning outcomes. a research activity carried out in class. Classroom action research in this study was carried out in a collaborative and participatory manner. Collaborative means that researchers work together with class VIII teachers at SMP Negeri 41 Bulukumba.The improvement in student learning outcomes in cycle I already met the criteria, out of 28 students who got very good criteria as many as 12 students or 43% while students who got good criteria were 6 students or 21%, and students who got the criteria enough as many as 6 students or by 21%. And those who got the less category were 2 students or 7%, students who got the failed category were 2 students or 7% While in cycle II there were 28 students who got very good criteria as many as 21 students or 75% while students who got good criteria as many as 5 students or 17%, and students who get sufficient criteria as many as 1 student or 4%. And those who get less criteria are 1 student or 4% so that it can be said that student learning outcomes have increased.

Abstract

Recreational Reading Habits of the EFL Pre-Service Teachers in an Indonesian Islamic Higher Education. Objectives: This study aims to investigate the recreational reading habits of EFL pre-service teachers at Islamic universities, with a focus on the relationship between the duration of recreational reading and academic achievement. Furthermore, this study also examines differences in reading time based on gender, age, level of study, and students' reading preferences. Methods: This research employed a mixed-methods approach through a cross-sectional survey design and case study, involving 56 students from three classes of the English Language Education Study Program at UIN Datokarama Palu. Data were collected through an online survey, semi-structured online interviews, and document analysis. These data were then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, as well as thematic analysis, to explore quantitative patterns and qualitative meanings in depth.­ Findings: The results of the study showed that involvement in recreational reading activities had a very moderate relationship with the academic achievement of the EFL preservice teachers, indicating that although recreation reading may increase their language awareness and learning motivation, its direct impact on academic achievement was still relatively limited. It was found that 50% of the respondents read for less than one hour per week, reflecting low levels of recreational reading engagement. Differences were also evident based on demographics, with female students and younger age groups tending to read more frequently and preferring digital texts and short reading materials such as online stories and motivational content. Despite limited reading time, students who regularly engage in recreational reading demonstrate better academic achievement, wider vocabulary mastery, and positive attitudes towards learning English. Conclusion: This study confirms the importance of recreational reading culture in supporting academic success, independent learning, and long-term intellectual development. Islamic universities are expected to foster a culture of reading for pleasure by integrating it into the curriculum, strengthening library facilities, and utilizing digital platforms. Keywords: pre-service EFL teachers, recreational reading habits, reading for pleasure.

Abstract

Globalization has significantly reshaped contemporary education through digitalization, transnational knowledge circulation, and global normative frameworks, compelling Islamic education to adapt while preserving its moral and spiritual foundations. Although existing studies discuss globalization, Islamic education reform, and human rights separately, there remains a lack of systematic synthesis integrating these dimensions. This study addresses this gap by conducting a PRISMA-based Systematic Literature Review of peer-reviewed journal articles (2015–2025) indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Using thematic synthesis guided by the maqāṣid al-sharīʿah framework, the review analyzes how globalization drives paradigm shifts in Islamic education and shapes and mediates the integration of human rights principles. The findings reveal a transition toward learner-centered pedagogy, competency-based curricula, and adaptive institutional governance aligned with ḥifẓ al-ʿaql, while human rights integration remains uneven and often normative. Maqāṣid-based reasoning emerges as a key mediating framework that contextualizes human rights within Islamic educational values. The study highlights the need for maqāṣid-oriented policies and governance reforms to ensure that globalization and human rights advance intellectual development, dignity, justice, and moral responsibility in Islamic education.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limitations of contemporary human development theories, which predominantly emphasize biological and psychological dimensions while overlooking the spiritual and eschatological aspects essential to the Islamic theological perspective. This gap necessitates a more comprehensive reconstruction rooted in Islamic normative sources and aligned with the needs of modern education. This study aims to reconstruct the concept of the human life cycle from the perspective of Islamic educational theology, identify the stages of life that are relevant to the framework of Islamic education, and explain their implications for Islamic educational practice. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, the research integrates content analysis and thematic analysis of primary sources—Qur’an, Hadith, and classical texts—alongside contemporary academic literature. The findings reveal that the Islamic perspective on the human life cycle comprises six interconnected phases: pre-birth, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, old age, and post-death, all of which relate closely to fitrah, spiritual purification (tazkiyah), cultivation of adab, and eschatological orientation. The study proposes a holistic–transcendental conceptual model grounded in tawhid that strengthens the epistemology of Islamic education and offers a theoretical alternative for the advancement of Islamic educational practice in the modern era.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a learning medium for Islamic Education and Character Building at Poso 1 Public Senior High School. In the digital era, ICT has become an essential tool for creating innovative and interactive learning environments. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, involving data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that ICT significantly enhances student engagement and understanding through digital platforms and multimedia presentations. While challenges such as limited hardware and unstable internet connectivity persist, the overall implementation has proven effective. Beyond cognitive gains, the integration of ICT fosters positive character development and critical thinking aligned with Islamic values. This study concludes that technology integration is a strategic necessity to address modern educational challenges while maintaining the core principles of religious education.

Abstract

Sufism constitutes a central dimension of Islamic scholarship, focusing on inner spiritual cultivation through maqāmāt and aḥwāl as means of approaching Allah. Imam al-Ghazālī, through his seminal work Iḥyā’ ‘Ulūm ad-Dīn, plays a pivotal role by integrating Sufism, sharī‘ah, and ethics. Although widely influential, the conceptual construction of maqām rūḥānī in this work has not been systematically reconstructed using a qualitative textual approach. Prior studies have discussed maqām in Islamic psychotherapy, psychology of religion, and spiritual education, yet they rarely address its structural and dynamic dimensions within al-Ghazālī’s framework. This study adopts qualitative library research employing content analysis and contextual-hermeneutic interpretation of Iḥyā’ ‘Ulūm ad-Dīn. The findings indicate that al-Ghazālī’s concept of maqām rūḥānī is integrative, dynamic, and non-hierarchical, reflecting a continuous process of ethical and spiritual transformation connected to tazkiyat al-nafs. Its adaptive structure corresponds to the spiritual condition of the sālik, rendering it relevant for contemporary Islamic education spirituality.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the independent learning method in improving students’ learning motivation in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak for Grade XI at MA Ma’had Dirasatil Islamiah Wal’arabiah Makassar. The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning process by applying the independent learning method in Aqidah Akhlak classes and to determine whether the independent learning method can improve the learning motivation of Grade XI students at MA Ma’had Dirasatil Islamiah Wal’arabiah Taqwa Makassar. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. The procedure in this Classroom Action Research consists of four main components: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The relationship among these four components is considered as one cycle. The research subjects were 27 Grade XI students, consisting of 14 male students and 13 female students. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The results of the study show that before conducting Cycle I, a pre-test was administered to determine the students’ initial abilities. In the pre-cycle stage, 10 students achieved mastery with a percentage of 30.04%, meeting the minimum score of 70. Meanwhile, 17 students (60.74%) did not achieve mastery, and the average score was only 61.21, categorized as low. In Cycle I, 12 students achieved mastery with a percentage of 44.44%, while 15 students (55.56%) did not achieve mastery. The average score increased to 71.51, categorized as moderate. In Cycle II, all 27 students achieved mastery with a percentage of 100%. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the independent learning method can improve the learning outcomes of Grade XI students at MA Ma’had Dirasatil Islamiah Wal’arabiah Makassar.
