Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. The independent variables of this study are: (X1) Economy, (X2) Total Population. The model chosen in this study is the Random Effect Model (REM).            This type of research is descriptive and associative research, the data used in this study are secondary data using panel data techniques during the 2015-2018 period. Documentation data collection techniques obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and BPH Migas. Data were analyzed using the Regression Panel.   The results of this study indicate that: (1) The economy has a positive and significant effect on demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. This means that as the economy increases, the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia also increases. Indonesia's energy consumption is dominated by fossil energy, especially fuel. Final energy consumption consists of various sectors, namely households, industry, transportation, commercial, and others. Energy is very much needed in carrying out Indonesia's economic activities, both for consumption needs and for the production activities of various economic sectors. (2) The population has a positive and significant effect on the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. This means that the greater the population, the higher the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. From year to year the population of Indonesia as one of the developing countries in the world continues to experience growth. This growth has had various impacts on aspects of human life. One aspect that is quite affected by the increase in population is the use of energy to support the necessities of life which includes the industrial sector, households, transportation and so forth. Abstract

This research was conducted to: (1) Determine the influence of gender on household poverty in West Sumatra. (2) Knowing the effect of education level on household poverty in West Sumatra. (3) Knowing the effect of Main Work on household poverty in West Sumatra (4) Knowing the effect of the number of household members on household poverty in West Sumatra. This research is descriptive and associative. The data used is the SUSENAS year sourced from the BPS of West Sumatra Province. The method uses Logistic Regression Analysis.The results of the study are: (1) Gender has a significant positive effect on the level of household poverty in West Sumatra, the head of the household is headed by a man. -men are more likely to be poor than households headed by women in West Sumatra. (2) The level of education has a significant negative effect on the level of poverty in West Sumatra, the increase in the level of education completed by the head of the family, the less likely it is for the household to become poor. (3) Main employment has a significant positive effect on poverty levels in West Sumatra. (4) The number of household members also has a significant positive effect on the level of household poverty in West Sumatra.Based on this research, the authors suggest to the West Sumatra Provincial Government to develop human resources in advance so that all potential areas can be maximized, and will be able to support the level of community welfare in West Sumatra. Keywords: Gender, Education, Main job, Number of Household Members, Logistic Regression.

Abstract

This research is aimed to study problem of poverty in rural areas of West Sumatera. Operationally, this study has four objectives: (1) to analyze factors determining poverty, such as: land tenure, technology, education, health, access into institutional economies, and alternative profession; (2) to seek the relative poverty as indicated by land tenure distribution and income distribution; (3) to analyze discrepancies in land tenure distribution and income distribution between households clasified poor and not poor; and (4) to analyze discrepancies in income distribution between households with alternative professions and those without alternative professions;One of five hypotheses in this research turn out to be empirically unsupported; The difference between land tenure distribution among households classified not poor is insignificant. This may be due to the fact that this research is carried out in villages whose conditions are quite similar so that land tenure distribution between both categories of households does not vary.Key Words:  Poverty,  Land tenure distribution, Income distribution

Macro regional variables are engine in regional economy. Regional economyactivity must be conducted by local resources and supported regulation from localgovernment. Each regency and municipality in West Sumatera have leading sectoreconomy. Abstract

The aims of this research was to reveal (1) the difference between economy learning outcomes of the students who were taught by using learning model mind mapping and those who were taught by using conventional model, (2) the difference between economy learning outcomes of the students who had high motivation and were taught by using learning model mind mapping and those who also had high motivation but were taught by using conventional model, (3) the difference between economy learning outcomes of the students who had low motivation and were taught by using learning model mind mapping and those who also had low motivation but were taught by using conventional. (4) the interaction between learning model and motivation toward economy students learning outcomes. The population of this research was all of the first year students at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya which consisted of 6 classes, each class had 170 students.  The samples by using cluster random sampling technique. The researcher chose the experimental class is X.4 and as the control class is X.1. This research was a quasi experimental which used 2x2 factorial design. The data then was analyzed by using t-test and Anava. The result of research showed that: (1) learning outcomes of the students who were taught by using learning model mind mapping was higher than those who were taught by using conventional model, (2) learning outcomes of the students who had high motivation and were taught by using learning model mind mapping was higher than those who also had high motivation but were taught by using conventional model, (3) learning outcomes of the students who had low motivation and were taught by using learning model mind mapping was higher than those who also had low motivation but were taught by using conventional model, and (4) there was not interaction between learning model and motivation toward students learning outcomes.   Keywords: Learning Model, Mind Mapping, Motivation, Learning Outcomes, Economy

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Planning, Implementation and Control Budget to Performance Unit (SKPD) in the Mentawai Islands of West Sumatra, and see to what extent the efforts of SKPD make effective and efficient use of the budget. Samples was done by Multi Stage Sampling number 32 on education. Results of the study stated that: Budget planning is a positive and significant impact on the implementation of the budget, planning and implementation of the budget in a positive and significant effect on the control of the budget, Planning, Implementation and Control of the Budget affect positively and significantly related to performance on education in the Mentawai islands County Government, and There are direct and indirect influence of the Planning, Implementation and Control Budget is positive and significant impact on the performance of the Government on education in the Mentawai Islands.   Keywords: Planning, Execution, Control, Performance, SKPD

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze: 1) the effect of leadership on organizational culture, 2) the effect of leadership on employee commitment, 3) the influence of organizational culture on employee commitment, 4) The effect of leadership on employee performance, 5) The influence of organizational culture on employee performance , 6) Effect of work commitment on employee performance. The population of this study were all employees of the Dinas Kopperindag dan UMKM Kabupaten Dharmasraya totaling 63 people. The sampling method is proportional stratified random sampling. The number of samples is 54 employees. Data analysis techniques to test the hypothesis of the study was the analysis of line with kaedah kaedah test used was the F test and t test. The results of the study found that: 1) Leadership significant positive impact on organizational culture and Dinas Kopperindag dan UMKM Kabupaten Dharmasraya. 2) Leadership significant positive impact on employee commitment Dinas Kopperindag dan UMKM Kabupaten Dharmasraya. 3) Organizational culture have a significant positive impact on employee commitment Dinas Kopperindag dan UMKM Kabupaten Dharmasraya. 4) Leadership significant positive effect on the performance of Dinas Kopperindag dan UMKM Kabupaten Dharmasraya. 5) organizational culture have a significant positive effect on employee performance Dinas Kopperindag dan UMKM Kabupaten Dharmasraya. 6) Commitment work significantly positive effect on employee performance Dinas Kopperindag dan UMKM Kabupaten Dharmasraya. Abstract

The purpose of this research are to analysis the influence of education of household head, working status of household head, and family size in Pariaman city. This analysis use Logistic Regression Model to show the probabilities of poverty with Wald Test analysis to know influence of independent variabel partially effect on dependent variabel, Chi-Square analysis to know the influence of independent variabel simultaneously effect on dependent variabel. Then use Odd Ratio analysis to know the probabilities of poverty. The result of this study found that the influence of education of household head to poverty is negative and significant, this mean is the more higher of education of household head will effect the more lower of poverty. The influence of working status of household head to poverty is negative and significant too, this mean is more formal the working status of household head will effect more lower of poverty. Then, the influence of family size to poverty is negative and significant too, the meaning is more small of the number of the family will effect more lower of poverty. Cause of education of household head, working status of household head and fa,ily size effecly more andt significant to poverty in Pariaman city, so that the Government should more priority the policies that can increase the capabilities of the peoples in the city to the three variabel, example with give more practice to increase the capability, education to setting the maternity and many more. Keywords : Poverty, education of household head, working status of household                   Head, and family size.

Abstract

This research aims to : 1) the effect of work motivation on employee satisfaction, 2) the effect of work motivation on employee commitment, 3) the effect of job satisfaction on employee commitment, 4) the effect of work motivation on employee discipline, 5) the effect of job satisfaction on employee discipline, 6) the effect of commitment to the discipline of employees working at the Department of Finance and Asset Management Revenue (DPPKA) Tanah Datar. The population was Servants Revenue Service Finance and Asset Management (DPPKA) Tanah Datar as many as 72 people. Proportional sampling technique the sample is cluster sampling. Samples numbered 42 people. The data analysis technique used is Path Analysis (Path Analysis). Results of the research are: 1) There is a positive and significant impact work motivation on employee satisfaction, 2) There is a positive and significant impact work motivation on employee commitment, 3) There is a positive and significant effect of job satisfaction on employee commitment, 4) There is a positive influence and significant work motivation on employee discipline, 5) There is a positive and significant impact on the job satisfaction of employee discipline, 6) There is a positive and significant impact employee commitment to the discipline of the Department of Finance and Asset Management Revenue (DPPKA) Tanah Datar. Abstract

The objective of the study is to examine  (1)The effects of leadership on organizational climate. (2)The effect of incentives, leadership, and organizational climate on job satisfaction and (3)The effect of incentives,  leadership,  organizational climate and job satisfaction on work commitments. The scope of research was analyze the variables significantly influence incentives, leadership, organizational climate, and job satisfaction on job satisfaction variables through intermediate variable (job satisfaction). The research population was all employees of the Office of Financial Management of West Sumatera Province, amounting to 279 people. Sampling was done by stratified random sampling proportional amount to 162 people. Data were collected by questionnaire Likert scale models that have tested the validity and reliability. Techniques of data analysis is path analysis. Hypothesis testing used the test f. The results showed that: (1)leadership has a significant effect on organizational climate. (2) incentives, leadership, and organizational climate have significant effect on job satisfaction. (3) incentives, leadership, organizational climate, and job satisfaction have significant effect on  work commitments. It known that the direct effect of leadership on job commitment and job satisfaction directly influences the work commitments and the effect of incentives on work commitment. While the indirect effect of organizational climate on work commitment through job satisfaction larger than the indirect effect of leadership on work commitment through job satisfaction and indirect effects of leadership on work commitment through organizational climate and  influence of indirect incentives to work commitment through job satisfaction.
