Abstract

This study aims to analyze 1) the effect of investment on economic growth in the province of West Sumatra, 2) The effect of labor force on the economic growth in the province of West Sumatra, 3) The effect of government spending on economic growth in the province of West Sumatra, 4) Influence of investment, labor force and government expenditures together on economic growth in the province of West Sumatera. Research conducted an exploratory study in the area of West Sumatra province, to see an image of the effect of investment, labor force and government expenditures on economic growth in West Sumatra during the period 1981-2010. Data analysis technique area used to prove and test the hypothesis propose disnon linear regression. The result showed that the investment variable, labor force and government expenditures have a positive and significant impact on economic growth in the province of West Sumatra. This means that if there is an increase in investment, the number of labor force and increase government spending can trigger economic growth in West Sumatra. Abstract

The purpose of this research are to analyze the effect of (1) the headmaster’s leadership on climate work, (2 the headmaster’s leadership and work climate on achievement motivation, and (3) the headmaster’s leadership, work climate and achievement motivation to discipline SMPN 18 Padan’s teachers. The population was teacher of SMPN 18 Padang are 62 peoples and sample are 51 people with Proportional stratified random sampling method. For the data analysis technique used was path analysis. The result are: headmaster’s leadership influence the  climate of work. the headmaster’s leadership, work climate and achievement motivation significantly influence teacher’s discipline. Achievement motivation has the greatest direct influence on discipline teachers compared with the principal's leadership and organizational climate. Teachers discipline are directly affected by the leadership that the principal function properly despite low achievement motivation of teachers. To improve labor discipline can be done by creating a conducive working environment even if the teacher does not have a high achievement motivation. Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of human resource competencies, the implementation of internal control government system, and the government's application of accounting standards for financial reporting quality Padang city government. This research is quantitative research that is causative. The population in this study all accounting entities in the local government area of ​​Padang who are 45 Regional Working Units (on education) consists of 7 (seven) agencies and technical institutions, 18 (eighteen) service, the Regional Secretariat, Parliament Secretariat, 6 (six) office, 1 (one) and 11 district hospitals with the respondent is Penatausaha Financial Officer (CO) of each on education. Sampling technique using total sampling. The data analysis technique used is the path analysis (path analysis) using SPSS version 15.00. The results based pathway analysis showed that: (1) variable competence of human resources at 8.12% direct effect, indirect effect of 4.84% through the implementation of the SAP, and the indirect effect of 2.44% through the implementation of the SPIP quality of government financial statements, (2) the application of variable SPIP by 7.45% direct effect and indirect effect of 3.66% on the quality of government financial statements. (3) the implementation of SAP Variable 15.05% direct effect on the quality of government financial statements, while 58.40% is influenced by other factors outside the study. Abstract

This research illustrates the influence of economic growth, domestic investment and  government expenditure to distribution income in Indonesia with variables (1) GDP per capita, (2) Domestic Investment and (3) Goverment  Expenditure. This research uses panel data from 2012-2017, which consist 32 province in Indonesia, by using a method linear regression and use Fixed Effect Model (FEM). the results obtained from this research is (1) Economic growth has a negative significant effect to inequality income in Indonesia. (2) Domestic investment has negative effect but not significant to inequality income in Indonesia. (3) Goverment expenditure has a positive and significant effect to inequality income in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to look at the effect of macroeconomic variables on the rupiah exchange rate, which in this study involves variables from internal and external factors. The independent variables used are inflation, interest rates, gold prices and foreign debt, and the dependent variable is the exchange rate. This study uses time series data in the country of Indonesia with a span of quarter 1 in 2009 to 4 in 2018. The research model uses multiple linear regression with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results showed that inflation and interest rates did not significantly influence the rupiah exchange rate. However, the price of gold and foreign debt have a significant effect on the rupiah exchange rate.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of credit interest rates  and Gross Domestic Products on consumer credit demand at commercial banks in Indonesia. The type of data in this study is time series. In analyzing coherent data from 2010 to 2018, multiple regression methods were used. Based on the results of testing (1) credit interest rates do not significantly influence consumer demand for loans at commercial banks in Indonesia. (2) Gross Domestic Product has a significant effect on consumer demand for loans at Commercial Banks in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determined the effect of noneconomic variable on the economy, this study involves the role of government and institutions as factors that can affect the economy. Independent variable in this study is economic freedom, government size, rule of law, and investment freedom. Then, dependent variable in this study is PDB and FDI. This study used panel data in ASEAN for the 2008-2017 period. The model in this study is simultaneous panel with Two-Stage Least Sqares (2SLS) method. The result is economic freedom and government size have significant effect on PDB under fixed effect model and government size and investment freedom have significant effect on FDI under fixed effect model. But, rule of law in this study does not have significant effect on FDI.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic variables on economic growth in West Sumatra. The type of data in this study is time series. In analyzing sequential data from 1987 to 2017, OLS Analysis method was used. Based on the results of testing of domestic investment, foreign investment, labor and road infrastructure have a significant positive effect on the economic growth of West Sumatra. Where domestic investment and foreign investment is an investment that will drive the economic wheel of West Sumatra, labor will increase the economic productivity of West Sumatra and road infrastructure as public goods will drive the economic wheel as a means of connecting in the distribution of goods and services in West Sumatra

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out: How far is the Causality Relationship between the Amount of Money Supply, Investment, Savings and Economic Growth in Indonesia. This type of research is descriptive and associative. The type of data is secondary data. This study uses Time series data from 2005 Q1-2018 Q4 using the Vector Auto Regression (VAR) and Vector Estimation Causality Model (VECM) approaches. The results of this study show that: (1) there is a causal relationship between the money supply and economic growth. (2) There is no causal relationship between Investment and Economic Growth in Indonesia. (3) There is no causal relationship between Economic Growth Savings in Indonesia, but there is a one-way relationship namely Economic Growth affecting Savings. Based on the results of this study, the authors advise the Government to keep the national economy more stable and in a healthy financial institution. This will be able to facilitate the circulation of money in the community so that economic activity grows well.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of: interest rates on private investment in ASEAN, inflation rates on private investment in ASEAN, exchange rates on private investment in ASEAN, output on private investment in several countries in ASEAN. This type of research is descriptive research. The data in this study are secondary data. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and inductive analysis and hypothesis t test and f test. The results showed that the interest rate had a positive and not significant effect on private investment (Y), inflation had a negative and not significant effect on private investment (Y), the exchange rate had a negative and significant effect on private investment (Y), and output had a positive and significant effect towards private investment (Y).
