Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Laguboti, when the research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2017-2018 academic year. The subjects of this study were students of class XI TB I at SMK Negeri 1 Laguboti on subjects making adult female patterns with 32 students. At this stage it was concluded that interactive multimedia-based learning media that were developed were effectively used in subjects making the XI Class dress pattern at SMK Negeri 1 Laguboti. Based on the results of student responses on effectiveness testing conducted at the field trial stage obtained an assessment with the criteria of "Very Good" with an average percentage of 85.89% and teacher responses rated "Very Good" with an average percentage of 93.33%.Keywords: Interactive Multimedia ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Laguboti, waktu pelaksanaan penelitian ini pada semester ganjil Tahun ajaran 2017 -2018.  Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TB I SMK Negeri 1 Laguboti pada mata pelajaran membuat pola wanita dewasa dengan jumlah 32 siswa. Pada tahap ini disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang berbasis multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan efektif digunakan pada mata pelajaran membuat pola kelas XI Tata Busana SMK Negeri 1 Laguboti. Berdasarkan hasil tanggapan siswa pada ujicoba efektivitas yang dilakukan pada tahap uji coba lapangan diperoleh penilaian dengan kriteria œSangat Baik dengan persentase rata-rata 85.89 % dan tanggapan guru dinilai œSangat Baik  dengan persentase rata-rata 93.33%.              Kata Kunci: Multimedi Interaktif

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe design of this research uses descriptive method aims to find and develop and test the truth of a science in accordance with the objectives of science that is to determine the extent of the relationship between herbal knowledge with Processed Beverage results at SMK Negeri 1 Berastagi. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded as follows: the results of the data from the class XI TPHP 1 students' knowledge of Herbal Plants (X) belong to the category that tends to be High by 97.15%. While the results of student practice on processed herbal drinks (Y) class XI TPHP 1 are classified as Fair enough at 77.15%.Keywords: Descriptive Study, Herbal Plants ABSTRAKDesain penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif bertujuan untuk menemukan dan mengembangkan serta menguji kebenaran dari suatu ilmu pengetahuan sesuai dengan tujuan ilmu pengetahuan yaitu untuk mengetahui sejauhmana hubungan pengetahuan tanaman herbal dengan hasil Olahan Minuman di SMK Negeri 1 Berastagi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini maka dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: hasil data darai Pengetahuan siswa kelas XI TPHP 1 terhadap Tanaman Herbal (X) tergolong kategori cenderung Tinggi sebesar  97,15%. Abstract

ABSTRACTPopulation is one of the important indicators of a country. There are various challenges faced by Indonesian families in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Among others, targeting to reduce birth rates through reducing the rate of contraceptive use and increasing public understanding of population issues, it is expected that as an institution that handles population and family planning with a family life cycle approach, it wants to ensure that it can answer the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. Deli Serdang Regency shows it's good. The use of contraceptive devices showed that of 39 respondents who used contraception as many as 29 people (74%) while those who did not use contraception were 10 people (26%).Keywords: Perception, Family, Contraception, Globalization ABSTRAK Penduduk adalah salah satu indikator penting suatu negara. Ada berbagai  tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi oleh keluarga-keluarga Indonesia di era revolusi industri 4.0 ini. Antara lain menargetkan penurunan angka kelahiran diantaranya melalui penurunan tingkat putus pakai kontrasepsi dan meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang isu kependudukan, diharapkan sebagai institusi yang menangani kependudukan dan keluarga berencana dengan pendekatan siklus kehidupan keluarga ingin memastikan dapat menjawab tantangan di era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Kabupaten Deli Serdang menunjukkan sudah baik. Adapun penggunaan alat kotrasepsi menunjukkan dari 39 responden yang menggunakan alat kotrasepsi sebanyak 29 orang (74 %) sedangkan yang tidak menggunakan alat kontrasepsi sebanyak 10 orang (26 %).Kata Kunci: Persepsi, Keluarga, Kontrasepsi, Globalisasi

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is constantly evolving. This condition presents a challenge for learning, particularly in the realm of educationwhich functions to provide certain knowledge, insights, skills and expertise. To introduce an innovative teaching paradigm, it is necessary to develop teaching methods and media. In order to achieve innovative teaching goals, educators must have instructional media as a supporting tool or method for conveying material, so as to motivate students and enhance their learning. One of the media that can support the learning process by using visual media as an interactive learning medium is learning videos. The purpose of this learning is to develop and test the feasibility of a valid instructional media video on the No Problem Facial Skin Care competency. The objects of this research inlcude material experts, media experts and students of SMK Negeri 3 Pematang Siantar. The research method is developed by utilizing the R&D (Research & Development). Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The research results for the material expert validity test yielded a score of 92.53 percent, while media experts scored 89 percent, and it was determined that the use of interactive video learning media improved student learning outcomes. According to experts, learning video media is ideally suited for use as learning media competencies in No Problem Facial Skin Care.

Abstract

Quality assurance is a series of related processes and systems for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on the performance and quality of educators and education personnel, programs and institutions. The quality assurance process identifies aspects of achievement and priority for improvement, provides data as a basis for planning and decision making and helps build a culture of continuous improvement.This study aims to describe the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) as an effort to improve the quality of education in the PKK Department, Faculty of Engineering, Unimed. This study is a qualitative research with case study method. The research was conducted at the Department of Family Welfare Education (PKK) Faculty of Engineering, Unimed, with the subject of the Department of Quality Assurance Team (TPMJ PKK). Data collection techniques: direct observation, document and archive searches, and interviews. The results showed: (1) TPMJ policies and concepts in the form of academic documents and quality documents were prepared by TPMJ PKK; (2) TPMJ PKK as coordinator in planning and implementing learning in the PKK Department; (3) The implementation of the TPMJ is carried out by preparing a design in the form of the TPMJ PKK Cycle; (4) Obstacles faced: leadership commitment, number of auditors, TPMJ PKK activities become routine; (5) Steps to be taken: providing quality assurance experts, building a spirit of quality assurance; (6) Evaluation of TPMJ PKK Implementation is carried out every year; (7) Utilization of the results of TPMJ PKK implementation: building a culture of quality, accreditation; and (8) Development of TPMJ PKK implementation refers to the standard management of BAN PT.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of the fashion and beauty industries across three institutional settings: vocational education at a cosmetology-focused vocational high school, garment manufacturing enterprises, and non-formal skills training institutions in beauty services. The research was conducted from October to December 2025 at three locations in the Province of North Sumatra, Indonesia. A qualitative research design was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews involving seven informants, comprising one vocational cosmetology teachers, three garment manufacturing business owners, and three managers of beauty training institutions. The study was supported by a review of academic literature published within the last five years. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis, including data reduction, theme development, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that management within the beauty sector emphasizes practice-based learning, hygiene and sanitation standards, salon management competencies, and industry partnerships. In contrast, garment manufacturing enterprises apply structured production management systems, industrial standard operating procedures, piece-rate wage systems, and manual quality control mechanisms. Beauty training institutions prioritize curriculum alignment with current industry demands, instructor certification, and structured industry internship programs. Supporting data indicate that labor demand in the beauty sector increased by 27%, while demand in the garment manufacturing sector rose by 18% over the past five years. This study provides a comprehensive overview of education and production management within Indonesia’s fashion and beauty industries, particularly in the context of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

Abstract

Abstrak:Membatik memerlukan tata cara pembuatan yang bertahap. Akan lebih baik jika tahap-tahap tersebut dijelaskan melalui materi audio-visual sehingga lebih mudah dimengerti oleh siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Media CD Tutorial terhadap hasil belajar membatik siswa SMK Negeri I Berastagi dan seberapa efektifkah penggunaan CD Tutorial tersebut terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam membatik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014, dengan metode quasi eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar membatik Kelas Eksperimen cenderung cukup (83%), dan hasil belajar membatik Kelas Kontrol juga cenderung cukup (80%). Uji normalitas data pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan dk = 35, diperoleh data hasil belajar membatik Kelas Eksperimen berdistribusi nomal, Lh<Lt(0,0890<0,1610) dan Kelas Kontrol berdistribusi normal, Lh<Lt(0,0911<0,1610). Uji homogenitas, diperoleh Fh<Ft yaitu 1,53 < 1,89 sehingga kedua kelas penelitian memiliki varians sama (homogen). Hal ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat keselarasan antara data hasil penelitian Kelas Eksperimen dengan Kelas Kontrol. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan uji-t diperoleh nilai Sg sebesar 1,28, nilai th sebesar 6,74, sedangkan nilai tt pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan n = 60 sebesar 1,679. Dengan demikian, th>tt (6,74>1,679). Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan atas penggunaan Media CD Tutorial terhadap hasil belajar membatik. Selain itu, penggunaan CD tutorial menimbulkan kegairahan dan motivasi dalam belajar, yang bermuara pada pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: Membatik, media CD tutorial, tujuan pembelajaranAbstract:Making batik requires step by step procedure. It is better to explain the steps in audio-visual material so that the students can understand them better. This study aims to find out the effect of Media CD Tutorial usage towards batik learning outcomes of SMKN 1 Berastagi students and its effectiveness in improving the students batik learning outcomes. This research was carried out in the second semester of 2013/2014 academic year, with quasiexperimental methods. The result shows that the Experimental Class’ batik learning outcomes tends to be fair (83%), and the Control Class’ batik learning outcomes also tends to be fair (80%). Normality test data on a significant level of 5% with df = 35 results in normal distribution of Experimental Class’ batik learning outcomes, Lh <Lt (0.0890 <0.1610) and normal distribution of Control Class too, Lh <Lt (0.0911 <0, 1610). Homogenity test results in Fh <Ft namely 1.53 <1.89, so both classes have the same variance (homogeneous). This proves that there is harmony between the data of Experimental Class resulted from the research and those of Control Class. Hypothesis test by using t-est results in Sg value of 1.28, the th value of 6.74, whereas tt value at significance level of 5% with n = 60 is 1,679. Thus Th>Tt (6.74> 1.679). It was concluded that there is a significant effect from the Media CD Tutorial usage towards batik learning outcomes. Besides, Media CD Tutorial usage creates passion and motivation of the students to learn, which, in turn, results in the learning objective achievement.Keywords: Making batik, media CD tutorial, learning objective

Abstract

Pengembangan booklet ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman peserta didik pada materi desain busana pesta menggunakan aplikasi ibis paint x. Penelitian ini tujuannya yakni mengembangkan media booklet, mengkaji kelayakan media booklet, dan untuk mengetahui keefektifan media booklet pada materi desain busana pesta menggunakan aplikasi ibis paint x. Riset ini ialah riset pengembangan (R&D) dan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh rata-rata persentase 97% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid” dan ahli media memperoleh 84% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. (3) Pada tahap uji coba pada siswa mendapatkan hasil “Sangat Layak” dengan hasil dari uji coba kelompok kecil (84%), kelompok sedang (88%) dan kelompok besar (89%). (4) Hasil kelayakan guru memperoleh persentase 87% dengan dikategorikan “Sangat Layak”, sehingga media booklet dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. (5) Pada uji efektivitas booklet menggunakan Uji N-gain dan Uji-t pada hasil desain seluruh siswa. Pada uji N-Gain memperoleh nilai 80,72%, termasuk kategori efektif dan pada hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (p < 0,001) dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 22,689. Pada tahap efektivitas didapatkan hasil pretest 66,8 dan posttest 93,8, sehingga terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam mendesain busana dengan menggunakan booklet. Maka, disimpulkan bahwa media booklet sangat layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi desain busana pesta menggunakan aplikasi ibis paint x.   Kata kunci: Media Booklet, Desain Busana Pesta, Ibis Paint X, Model ADDIE
