Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) adalah penyakit degeneratif dengan karakteristik khas berupa kadar gula darah melebihi angka normal. Data tahun 2019 menunjukkan angka penderita DM di Kabupaten Parigi Moutong sebesar 33.873 jiwa. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data jenis, bagian dan cara penggunaan tumbuhan obat tradisional untuk pengobatan DM oleh masyarakat di Kecamatan Balinggi Kabupaten Parigi Moutong. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling dalam periode bulan Oktober 2021-Mei 2022. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 22 spesies tumbuhan obat yang terdiri dari 17 famili. Persentase bagian tumbuhan yang digunakan untuk pengobatan antidiabetes, yaitu daun 73,01%, kulit batang 11,11%, buah 6,34%, rimpang 4,76%, dan tumbuhan utuh 4,76%. Persentase cara pengolahan tumbuhan obat yang digunakan yaitu direbus 71,88%, diseduh 9,38%, diparut 6,25%, ditumbuk/dilumat 6,25%, dan diremas 6,25%. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa tumbuhan yang paling banyak digunakan untuk pengobatan antidiabetes yaitu kersen (11,4%), kelor (11,4%) dan kayu manis (11,4%) serta tumbuhan lain seperti klorofil (10%), sembung (5,7%), kunyit (5,7%), kumis kucing (5,7%), ciplukan (4,3%), insulin (4,3%), mahkota dewa (4,3%), sambiloto (4,3%), pinang (2,9%), salam (2,9%), belimbing wuluh (2,9%), sirih merah (2,9%), jarak pagar (1,4%), bengkuang (1,4%), meniran (1,4%), mengkudu (1,4%), brotowali (1,4%), beluntas (1,4%), dan dadap (1,4%). Kata Kunci: Etnofarmakologi, Diabetes Mellitus, Obat Tradisional, Jamu, Kecamatan Balinggi Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a degenerative disease with distinctive characteristics in the form of blood sugar levels that exceed expected levels. Data for 2019 show that the number of DM sufferers in the Parigi Moutong Regency is 33,873. This study aims to obtain data on the types, parts, and ways of using traditional medicinal plants to treat DM by the community in Balinggi District, Parigi Moutong Regency. This research was conducted using the purposive sampling method from October 2021-May 2022. The results obtained were 22 species of medicinal plants consisting of 17 families. The percentage of plant parts used for anti-diabetic treatment, namely leaves 73.01%, bark 11.11%, fruit 6.34%, rhizomes 4.76%, and whole plants 4.76%. The percentage of medicinal plant processing methods used was 71.88% boiled, 9.38% brewed, 6.25% grated, 6.25% crushed/crushed, and 6.25% crushed. This study shows that the plants most widely used for anti-diabetic treatment are kersen (11,4%), moringa (11,4%), and cinnamon (11,4%) other plants such as klorofil (10%), sembung (5,7%), turmeric (5,7%), kumis kucing (5,7%), ciplukan (4,3%), insulin (4,3%), mahkota dewa (4,3%), sambiloto (4,3%), areca nut (2,9%), salam (2,9%), carambola wuluh (2,9%), red betel (2,9%), jarak pagar (1,4%), bengkuang (1,4%), meniran (1,4%), noni (1,4%), brotowali (1,4%), beluntas (1,4%), dan dadap (1,4%).

Abstract

Muhammad Abid Al-Jabiri dikenal sebagai pemikir wacana keislaman kontemporer yang banyak menghasilkan banyak karya berkaitan dengan studi pemikiran Islam, filsafat, politik, budaya, pendidikan dan lain-lain. Secara umum, pemikirannya penuh dengan kritik kontstruktif terhadap pemikiran Islam Tradisionalis-Konservatif. Berbicara tentang diskursus pendidikan, ia pernah membahas tentang sistem pendidikan di Maroko yang dianggap masih mempertahankan sistem tradisionalis dan sudah tidak relevan dengan konteks kekinian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemikiran Muhammad Abid Al-Jabiri dan Perspektif Muhammad Al Jabiri di Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan (Library Research). Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu pengutipan dari buku, jurnal, berita dan hasil penelitian. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan bahwa pemikiran Muhammad Abid Al-Jabiri tentang definisi, tujuan, dan pelaksanaan pengembangan pendidikan Islam di Sekolah Dasar. Beberapa contoh pengembangan ilmu Islam di sekolah dasar menurut perspektif Al Jabiri: Pendidikan Akhlak dan Moralitas, Pendidikan Agama dan Bahasa Arab, Pengajaran Keterampilan dan Berfikir Kritis dan yang terakhir Pengajaran Sejarah Islam.

Abstract

Endophytic fungi produce bioactive metabolites that exhibit antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-cancer activity. Rui (Harrisonia perforata (Blanco) Merr.) is a traditional medicinal plant proven to be an antibacterial and anticancer. Endophytic fungi live in plant tissues without damaging or producing chemicals that infect the host cell. Endophytes produce the same and similar compound as an original plant. This study aimed to isolate the endophytic fungi from Rui and determine their antibacterial, antioxidant, and cytotoxic activity. 13 fungal isolates were successfully isolated using PDA for seven days at 30°C. Molecular identification using the ITS1 and ITS4 DNA sequences only revealed six species: Diaporthe sp., Phomopsis sp., Aspergillus tubingensis, Aspergillus viridinutans, Pseudofusicoccum sp., and Daldinia eschscholtz. Seven isolates showed antibacterial activity based on plate assay. Aspergillus tubingensis and RA-1 exhibited antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella typhi, with the MIC and MBC starting from 24 to 32 mg/ml. The DPPH assay showed the most increased antioxidant activity in Daldinia eschscholtzii with an IC50 of 98.14±2.39 µg/ml. The Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) showed the highest potential cytotoxic activity, as shown by Aspergillus tubingensis and Phomopsis sp. with LC50 of 7.78±7.48 and 30.83±0.39 µg/ml. In conclusion, our study demonstrates that the fungal extract from Rui could be a source of antibacterial, antioxidant, and cytotoxic agents.

Abstract

Abstrak: Islam wasathiyah menjadi tolak ukur normatif umat Islam dalam menjalankan moderasi beragama di tengah bangsa multikultural. Toleransi merupakan sikap yang mesti diterapkan dalam menghadapi kehidupan bangsa multi religi. Namun kenyataannya, hal tersebut sangat sulit diwujudkan akibat adanya penyebaran paham radikalisme dan ekstremisme secara masif di media sosial. Habib Ja’afar adalah salah satu pendakwah milenial yang sering melakukan dialog lintas agama di media sosial. Dialog tersebut dikemas dalam konten dakwah dan senantiasa mengedepankan prinsip Islam Wasathiyah. Artikel ini mengkaji nilai-nilai syiar Islam dalam konten Youtube “Jeda Nulis” milik Habib Ja’far dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi living hadith. Penelitian ini merupakan hasil kajian lapangan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan observasi serta dianalisis dengan teknik content analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hadis-hadis tentang Islam wasathiyah telah hidup dalam dakwah Habib Ja’far. Melalui media Youtube, Habib Jaa’far menghidupkan nilai-nilai hadist Islam wasathiyah melalui tiga tradisi. Pertama, tradisi lisan yakni melalui konten podcast dan ceramah. Kedua, tradisi tulisan yakni quotes bertajuk moderasi beragama. Ketiga, tradisi praktik yakni melalui dialog lintas agama dengan menghadirkan berbagai sudut pandang dan perspektif. Adapun kontribusi penelitian ini ialah sebagai ikhtiar dakwah Islam wasathiyah di era digital, terutama di platform media sosial Youtube. Abstract

The discourse of hermeneutics (interpretation) of the Qur'an becomes an interesting and factual study. Examining one of the monumental works of the Mufassir figures that should be taken into account is Shaykh al Mawardi. He is not only a bureaucrat who served as a Supreme Judge but also a Mufassir who should be used as a reference in ideas and thoughts. Through the work of al-Nukat wa al-'Uyūn, al Mawardi tries to offer a style of interpretation that combines the method of history (Naql) by involving linguistic reviews, grammar and jurisprudence, while the other side al Mawardi also used ijtihadi method (khalaf) by quoting and comparing the opinions of Mufassir. These two double steps are the distinction from other Mufassir, so the author tries to present and disseminate the style of interpretation of al Mawardi. This research is a literature study of the work of tafsir al Mawardi through a review of descriptive analysis of his interpretation method. The findings in the study indicate that al Mawardi has a distinctive method, namely the style of interpretation that tries to accommodate classical and contemporary models of interpretation (Ijtihādi) by citing some opinions of previous Mufassir and Fuqohā'.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Diabetes Mellitus is a severe disease to the world health community; it is estimated that 700 million people worldwide will suffer from it. The approach taken to this disease includes improving lifestyle and pharmacological therapy. Recent pharmacological therapeutic approaches include inhibiting the α-glucosidase enzyme, the dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) enzyme, and the sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT-2) protein. This research aims to conduct a docking study on three naphthalene compounds from Eleutherine bulbosa against three receptors: α-glucosidase, the DPP-4, and the SGLT-2 protein. The methods used are protein structure preparation, docking protocol validation, preparation of E. bulbosa test ligand structures, and molecule docking for test compounds. Validation was carried out by calculating the Root Mean Square Deviation (RMSD) values using PyMOL software; the results showed that the RMSD value of native ligands was <2Å. Molecular docking of the test compounds was conducted using Autodock Vina 1.2.3 ver 2020. Eleutherinoside A showed the highest binding against the α-glucosidase and DPP-4 protein. Eleuthoside B has the most increased binding to SGLT-2 protein. The research concluded that three naphthalene compounds from E. bulbosa can be used as an antidiabetic agent.
