Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the process of the implementation of student state Vocational School Prakerin in Purwodadi and test the difference Prakerin in state Vocational School and private vocational schools in Purwodadi. This research uses research survey that is descriptive. The population of  this research is the grade XI Concrete Masonry Construction Engineering (TKBB) of state Vocational School and private vocational schools  in Purwodadi. The Sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling. The results of the research implementation process of state Vocational School that is as much as 10 students (21.74%) stated the very high category, 31 students (67.39%) including the categories high, by as much as 5 students (10.87%) stated the categories and score an average of 141.26. Results of the study in private vocational schools show that as many as 8 students (17.39%) including the very high category, 14 students (30.43%) said the high category, as many as 14 students (30.43%) including categories and score an average of 134.37. The results of calculations using SPSS t-Test of can to score t of extent and significance is 3.794 0.000 ˂ 0.05 so the hypothesis described there are differences in the implementation process state Vocational School and private vocational schools in Purwodadi was supported by the data. Implementation of student state Vocational School Prakerin including categories higher and private vocational schools categories include enough.

Abstract

This research and development study developed a direct training of practical learning model on the teaching material diesel fuel injection system. It aims to determine the validity, practicity and effectiveness of the practical learning model on the teaching material diesel fuel injection system. The study employed research and development (R & D) method with before after without pretest and posttest control design. This study adopted three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the direct training of practical learning model was valid. The validity was shown by the average score of the 1st expert on the second cycle of 3.77 and the 2nd expert on the second cycle of 3.46 with a highly valid category and highly feasible to use. The results of the practicity questionnaire given to 20 students and 2 teachers shown as very practice with the final score 86.60. In addition, the assessment of learning effectiveness was performed using T- Test with a significance level of 95%. The result of paired samples T – Test showed the probability value = 0,000 < 0,05 and the average value of gain test = 0, 67 indicating an increase in the medium category. It can be concluded that the direct training of practical learning model was proven able to improve the students skills on diesel fuel injection system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sistem saluran pada cetakan permanen terhadap struktur mikro dan kekerasan hasil pengecoran aluminium. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membuat tiga sistem saluran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil pengujian berupa angka atau bilangan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik, sedangkan data berupa gambar disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan dideskripsikan berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan. Hasil pengamatan struktur mikro menunjukkan model B memiliki struktur lebih halus dari model A, dan model C memiliki struktur paling halus diantara model A dan B. Hasil pengujian kekerasan vickers menunjukkan model saluran A memiliki nilai kekerasan yang paling tinggi yaitu 100,4 VHN. Penuangan logam cair dalam waktu sesingkat mungkin akan mempengaruhi panjang alir dan proses pembekuan. Semakin cepat logam cair memenuhi rongga cetakan maka proses pembekuan akan semakin cepat, dan nilai kekerasan semakin tinggi. Kata kunci : Pengecoran, Aluminium, Sistem Saluran, Struktur Mikro, Kekerasan

Abstract

Di antara berbagai jenis makanan ringan, olahan kacang merupakan makanan ringan yang sangat populer bagi segala lapisan masyarakat. Mengingat peluang bisnis aneka snack bahan kacang ini, munculah banyak pelaku usaha yang menekuninya. Dalam kegiatan ini dipilih dua Mita IbM yang menghadapi permasalahan terkait aspek produksi dan manajemen usaha. Tim pelaksana kegiatan ini melibatkan dosen, teknisi, dan mahasiswa dengan bidang keahlian yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan lapangan. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan diterapkan beberapa metode yang saling mendukung, antara lain dengan ceramah/penyuluhan untuk materi yang bersifat teori dan motivasi, demonstrasi untuk menyampaikan materi praktik/keterampilan, praktik langsung oleh mitra dan pendampingan kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil dan luaran yang dicapai, program IbM ini telah berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan target yang telah ditentukan, antara lain: 1) Dapur produksi telah ditata dan dipasang keramik sehingga kelihatan bersih dan tidak becek lagi, 2) Telah dibuatkan dudukan kompor dan wajan sehingga lebih ergonomis, pengoperasian lebih mudah, 3) Telah diberikan bantuan mesin spinner (peniris minyak) sehingga kadar minyak dalam kacang gorengberkurang dan hal ini lebih menyehatkan, 4) Telah dibuatkan rak tempat meletakkan bahan baku maupun hasl produksi, 5) Telah dilakukan pelatihan manajemen usaha dan pemasaran melalui media internet dan media sosial, 6) Telah dilakukan pendampingan promosi dan pemasaran melalui berbagai acara pameran produk UKM (di Java Mall Semarang, dan diJateng Fair), 7) Telah dilakukan uji proksimat untuk mengetahui kadar gizi produk kacang goreng.

Abstract

The purpose of science and technology activities for the community is to solve the problems  faced  by  IbM  partners  covering  aspects  of  production,  quality  and  hygiene,  busi- ness  management,  and  product  marketing.  There  are  two  partners  of  SMEs  who  are  engaged in processing and marketing of milkfish presto in Semarang. To achieve the targets of activities  carried  out  by  various  methods  tailored  to  the  purpose  of  activities,  such  as  lectures / counseling, demonstrations, direct practice, and mentoring. The results of IbM activities are: 1) Produced a unit of presto fuel-saving fuels maker with a production capacity of at least 30 kg once cook 2) Produced one unit of oven milkfish presto tool that has been cooked;3)  Known  the  nutritional  value  of  milkfish  presto  (proximate  test),  among  others  protein,  fat,  carbohydrate,  calcium,  water  content,  and  abui  level;  4)  Produce  a  typical  presto milkfish recipe production Part I or Partner II that can be widely accepted by consumers; 5)  Produce  the  design  and  quality  of  presto  milk  packaging  more  interesting;  6)  Produced P-IRT  permit  from  Dinas  Kesehatan  for  Partners  II;  7)  The  pattern  of  business  management  (bookkeeping,  promotion,  marketing)  of  presto  milkfish  industry  is  neat  and  modern

Abstract

Abstract This study was aimed to determine the level of safety numbers and investigate the effect of the static load applied to the bus body frame structure on the von mises stress, displacement and deformed values ​​on the MD12E electric bus of PT. Mobil Anak Bangsa. This research was conducted with the computational method namely finite element method in the Autodesk Inventor Professional 2019 software. The analysis was carried out in the form of stress analysis. The object being analyzed is the MD12E electric bus body frame structure of PT. Mobil Anak Bangsa. The results of the analysis obtained on the MD12E electric bus body frame structure PT. Mobil Anak Bangsa shows the maximum value of von mises stress is 16.67 MPa, the minimum value is 5.628 x 10-05 MPa. For displacement obtained a maximum value of 0.4444 mm and a minimum value of 0.0 mm. The analysis also shows that the safety factor is 12.9. Based on the research results obtained from the analysis of the body structure framework of the prototype 3 electric bus of PT. Mobil Anak Bangsa is categorized as very safe because it has a high enough safety factor (12.9).

Abstract

The aim of this study was to implement the competency certification test for vocational students of light vehicle engineering program by LSP-P3 in Banyumas, which covers aspects of context, input, process, product and thoroughly. This research was conducted in four vocational schools in Banyumas. The population was 16 assessors. All member of the population was used as the sample of this research. The instrument used a questionnaire. The validity test with the content validity of the CVR (content validity ratio), the validity of items with a limited test and product moment analysis was performed. Cronbach alpa was used as the reliability test of this research. The data analysis techniques used a descriptive analysis. The description of the data used a level category approach. The results showed that the implementation of competency certification test for vocational students of light vehicle engineering program by LSP-P3 in Banyumas evaluated from the aspects of: (1) context included in the excellent category with a quality achievement score of 41.63 or (86.7%) ; (2) input included in the excellent category with a quality achievement score of 55.18 or (86.23%); (3) process included in the excellent category with a quality achievement score of 37.50 or (85.23%); (4) product included in the excellent category with a quality achievement score of 27.44 or (85.74%); and (5) as a whole included in the excellent category with a value of achievement quality results of 161.75 or (86.04%). The implementation of competency certification test for vocational students of light vehicle engineering by the LSP-P3 in Banyumas needs to be improved optimally although it has been going very well. This implies that the implementation of the competency certification test must consider the competency of the assessor. The implementation of competency certification test should use equipment that is in line with current technological developments. The competency certification test should be carried out in stages to complete the whole scheme so that graduates get a level 2 SKKNI competency certificate.

Abstract

Teaching Factory program in the field of motorcycle service which is developed in SMK Bina Utama Kendal is quite well. However, it does not train students to gain practical experience in applying entrepreneurship. Students have not been involved in the planning, organizing, monitoring, and evaluating stages in the teaching factory program. This research aims to develop the management model of teaching factory programs that increasing student entrepreneurship in the field of motorcycle engineering and business competence.  This research use R&D methodology. The research procedure consists of (1) Introduction, (2) Developing Model, (3) Testing Model. The result of the study shows the management's last model in teaching factory program is valid, effective, and easy to use. It can be used to develop student entrepreneurship based on significant results between pretest and post-test. The model which is developed in this research use entrepreneur real concept by asking students directly and giving responsibility to start from planning, organizing, conducting, evaluating in teaching factory management. This model develops students entrepreneurship such as discipline, hard work, creativity, a sense of collaboration, honest, and goal-oriented. Furthermore, it increases student's knowledge and ability in the field of motorcycle engineering.

Abstract

Kebutuhan energi yang terus meningkat berdampak pada peningkatan polusi lingkungan saat ini. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya inovasi baru untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan penggunaan mesin konversi energi terbarukan berupa turbin angin sumbu vertikal (TASV). Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja turbin angin adalah jumlah sudu dalam turbin tersebut. Variabel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yakni variasi jumlah sudu (2 sudu, 3 sudu, dan 4 sudu) dan kecepatan angin (4,2 m/s, 5,2 m/s, 6,2 m/s, dan 7,2 m/s). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa turbin heliks Gorlov paling optimal dengan nilai koefisien daya (CP) tertinggi yaitu turbin dengan empat sudu. Hal ini disebabkan karena semakin banyaknya jumlah sudu dan semakin meningkatnya kecepatan angin menyebabkan semakin besar gaya dari angin yang mengenai turbin setiap waktunya, sehingga gaya yang dihasilkan juga meningkat dan menyebabkan dayanya juga meningkat.

Abstract

Evaporation boat waste contains Boron Nitride (BN) and Titanium Diboride (TiB2) so that it has electrically conductive properties with high resistance to chemicals and heat. In addition, the combination of these materials has high thermal conductivity properties with a melting point of up to 2700oC and has an oxidation resistance of up to 1000oC so it is very suitable if applied to crucibles, or refractory. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mixing duration on the hardness of the crucible material made from a mixture of evaporation boats waste, kaolin and fire mortar SK-34. The mixing process of evaporation boats waste, kaolin and refractory cement is carried out using a mixer machine with a duration of 30, 60 and 90 minutes. The compaction process was carried out on the mixture with a force of 40 kg/cm2 to produce a cylindrical test specimen. After seven days, the specimens were sintered at 1000oC for 2 hours. The hardness test process was carried out with the FM-800 microhardness tester machine to determine the effect of mixing duration on the final product hardness. The highest hardness of 37,2 HV was found in the final product with a mixing duration of 90 minutes. The hardness of final product is increasing with an increase in mixing duration.
