This study aims to increase the learning engagement of third-grade students at SDN 2 Sandubaya through the application of a deep learning approach aided by Wordwall. This study used the Classroom Action Research method, conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consisted of the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects comprised 20 third-grade students. Data were collected through observation sheets, field notes, and documentation. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods by calculating the percentage of student learning engagement. The results showed that the percentage of student learning engagement increased gradually: 30% at the initial stage, 58% in Cycle I, 74% in Cycle II, and 86% in Cycle 3. These results indicate that the study’s success indicator—a minimum of 80%—was achieved. The implementation of the Wordwall-assisted deep learning approach was able to create active, interactive, and meaningful learning through discussions, problem-solving, collaboration, and educational games. Thus, the Wordwall-assisted deep learning approach can be used as an alternative learning strategy to enhance student engagement in elementary school.
