Bambang Sutanto, 2025. The Influence of Transactional Leadership on Employee Work Performance in the PT. Pegadaian at the Bojonegoro Regional Inspection Office, East Java Province, Mediated by Work Spirit. Wijaya Putra University Postgraduate Program Surabaya. This type of research is explanatory research, the approach used is a quantitative approach, the research sample is 65 people. The analysis tool uses Smart PLS (Partial Least Square). Research objectives: 1) To prove and analyze whether organizational culture has a direct influence on the work performance of employees at the PT. Pegadaian at the Bojonegoro Regional Inspection Office, East Java Province. 2) To prove and analyze whether organizational culture has a direct influence on the work spirit of the PT. Pegadaian at the Bojonegoro Regional Inspection Office, East Java Province. 3) To prove and analyze whether work discipline has a direct influence on the work performance of employees at the PT. Pegadaian at the Bojonegoro Regional Inspection Office, East Java Province. 4) To prove and analyze whether work discipline has a direct influence on the work spirit of the PT. Pegadaian at the Bojonegoro Regional Inspection Office, East Java Province. 5). To prove and analyze whether work enthusiasm has a direct influence on the work performance of employees at the PT. Pegadaian at the Bojonegoro Regional Inspection Office, East Java Province 6) To prove and analyze whether organizational culture has an indirect influence on employee work performance which is mediated by work morale at the PT. Pegadaian at the Bojonegoro Regional Inspection Office, East Java Province78) To prove and analyze whether work disciplines has an indirect influence on employee work performance which is mediated by work morale at the PT. Pegadaian at the Bojonegoro Regional Inspection Office, East Java Province. The research results show that: 1) organizational culture does not have a significant positive effect on employee work performance as evidenced by the original sample value of 0.280 and p-values ​​of 0.058. 2) organizational culture has a significant positive effect on work morale as evidenced by the original sample value of 0.377 and p-values ​​of 0.015. 3) Work morale has a significant positive effect on employee work performance as evidenced by the original sample value of 0.557 and p-values ​​of 0.000. 4) Transactional leadership has a significant positive indirect effect on employee work performance and work morale as evidenced by the original sample value of 0.210 and p-values ​​of 0.022.

Abstract

The increasingly growing world economic developments of companies are competing to show each other the quality of their goods with other companies, and many consumers are beginning to invest in what areas are benefiting. Gold investment is a simple investment form. Because this investment can be done by anyone, whether they are from the educated or not, by investing gold in the form of gold coins and gold bullion. This study aims to determine simultaneously and partially promotional strategies, brand image and perceptions of users of gold savings at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) JOMBANG. The type of research used is associative. The population in this study 88.10 with a sample of 88 respondents. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression. The results showed simultaneously and partially promotion strategy, brand image and perception have a significant effect on purchasing decision. In the application of its marketing strategy should pay more attention to the brand image, given the image of gold jewelry brand on the consumer has not been embedded properly. This can be done for example by improving marketing and marketing communications programs to educate consumers about benefits and branding, through appropriate advertising strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Human Resources (HR) quality and discipline on employee performance, with work professionalism as a mediating variable. Additionally, the study considers external factors that may moderate the relationship between these variables, such as technology, leadership style, organizational culture, and work environment. The research uses a quantitative method with an explanatory approach, allowing the researcher to explain the relationships between the involved variables. Data was collected from 41 respondents, who are employees at the Kangayan Subdistrict in Sumenep Regency. The analysis technique used is Partial Least Squares (PLS) to test the relationships between the variables. The results of the analysis show that HR quality and discipline have a significant effect on employee performance, both directly and through work professionalism as a mediating variable. This emphasizes that improving HR quality, which includes employees' knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as discipline in performing tasks, will enhance overall employee performance. Furthermore, external factors such as technology and organizational culture were found to moderate the relationship between HR quality, discipline, and employee performance. Adequate technology and a supportive organizational culture can strengthen the effectiveness of employee performance by improving professionalism and work discipline. This study provides important implications for the development of HR in the public sector, particularly in terms of planning and implementing policies that can improve HR quality and employee discipline. By enhancing work professionalism and leveraging supporting external factors, government organizations can create a more productive and efficient work environment, ultimately contributing to achieving organizational goals and providing better public services.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Financial Literacy and Social Media Marketing on Microfinance Customer Decision Making at PT. Pegadaian CP Sepanjang Sidoarjo, both partially and simultaneously. The population in this study were customers who applied for Microfinance Loans at PT. Pegadaian CP Sepanjang Sidoarjo, the research period was from January to July 2023, the sample technique was determined using Arikunto's opinion with a total of 92 people and the analysis method used was descriptive analysis method, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of partial hypothesis testing (t-test) showed that Financial Literacy (X1) and Social Media Marketing (X2) had a positive and significant effect on Customer Decision Making, with a t-value of the Ease of Service variable of 3.384 while the t-table was 1.662 (t-count> from t-table). Meanwhile, for the social media marketing variable, the t-value was 2.924 while the t-table was 1.662 (t-count> t-table). The results of simultaneous hypothesis testing (F test) show that financial literacy (X1) and social media marketing (X2) have a positive and significant effect on customer decision making, with a calculated f value of 14.063 while ttable is 3.10 (Fcalculation is greater than Ftable). The results of the determination coefficient test (R2) show an Adjusted R square value of 0.223 or 22.3%, which indicates that financial literacy and social media marketing simultaneously contribute to customer decision making by 22.3%.

Abstract

Abstract This type of research is explanatory research, the research approach uses a quantitative approach, data analysis using SPSS. The research sample was 50 employees. The objectives of this study are 1). To test and analyze the simultaneous influence between marketing strategy, service quality, and customer satisfaction on product interest People's business credit (KUR) Pegadaian CP Dinoyotangsi Surabaya Branch. 2). To test and analyze the relationship between the influence of marketing strategies and KUR products at Pegadaian CP Dinoyotangsi Surabaya Branch. 3). To test and analyze the relationship between the effect of service quality and KUR products at the Pawnshop CP Dinoyotangsi Surabaya Branch. 4). To test and analyze the relationship between the effect of customer satisfaction on KUR products at the Pawnshop CP Dinoyotangsi Surabaya Branch. 5). To test and analyze which variables among marketing strategies, service quality, and customer satisfaction have an interest in People's Business Credit (KUR) products at Pegadaian CP Dinoyotangsi Branch Surabaya. The results showed that: 1). Simultaneously, marketing strategy, service quality, and customer satisfaction have an impact on product interest in People's Business Credit (KUR) at Pegadaian CP Dinoyotangsi Surabaya Branch. evident from the results of the calculated F value of 20,740 with a significance level known from the sig value of 0.004 (smaller than 0.05). 2). Partially, marketing strategy, service quality, and customer satisfaction have an interest in people's business credit (KUR) products at the Surabaya Dinoyotangsi Branch Pawnshop. 3). Based on the results of the t test, it is known that customer satisfaction has a dominant effect on KUR products at the CP Pawnshop Dinoyotangsi Surabaya Branch, as evidenced by the t value of 2.045 with a significance level of 0.004 (smaller than 0.05).

Abstract

The effect of organizational culture and compensation on employee performance at PT Pegadaian Kanwil XII Surabaya which is mediated by organizational commitment. This type of research is explanatory, namely to test the hypothesis between the hypothesized variables to be tested. using a quantitative approach, the research sample was 57 respondents. In this study, the data will be processed using SEM-PLS data analysis. The objectives of this study are: 1) To test and analyze whether organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance. 2) To test and analyze whether organizational culture has a significant effect on organizational commitment. 3) To test and analyze whether compensation has a significant effect on employee performance. 4) To test and analyze whether compensation has a significant effect on organizational commitment. 5) To test and analyze whether organizational commitment has a significant effect on employee performance. 6) To test and analyze whether organizational culture has an indirect effect on employee performance mediated by organizational commitment. 7) To test and analyze whether compensation has an indirect effect on employee performance mediated by organizational commitment. The results showed that: 1) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the original sample value of 0.286 and the p-values of 0.007. 2) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. This is evidenced by the original sample value of 0.501 and p-values of 0.000. 3) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the original sample value of 0.252 and p-values of 0.016. 4) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. This is evidenced by the original sample value of 0.380 and p-values of 0.000.5) Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the original sample value of 0.429 and p-values of 0.000. 6) Organizational culture has a significant positive effect on employee performance mediated by organizational commitment. This is evidenced by the original sample value of 0.163 and p-values of 0.001. 7) Compensation has a significant positive effect on employee performance mediated by organizational commitment. This is evidenced by the original sample value of 0.215 and p-values of 0.002.

Abstract

The Effect of HR Competence and Work Discipline on Employee Performance mediated by Public Service Quality (Study at the Surbaya City Transportation Office), Postgraduate Program, Wijaya Putra University. This type of research is explanatory, namely research that tests hypotheses between hypothesized variables to be tested. using a quantitative approach, the research sample was 95 respondents. In this study the data will be processed using SEM-PLS data analysis. The objectives of this study are: 1) To test and analyze the direct effect of HR competence on employee performance. 2) To test and analyze the direct effect of HR competencies on the quality of public services. 3) To test and analyze the direct effect of work discipline on employee performance. 4) To test and analyze the direct effect of work discipline on the quality of public services. 5) To test and analyze the direct effect of public service quality on employee performance. 6) To test and analyze the indirect effect of HR competencies on employee performance mediated by the quality of public services. 7) To test and analyze the indirect effect of work discipline on employee performance mediated by public service quality. The results showed that: 1) HR competence has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the original sample value of 0.597 and p-values of 0.179. 2) HR competence has a positive and significant effect on the quality of public services. This is evidenced by the original sample value of 0.223 and p-values of 0.000. 3) Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the original sample value of 0.279 and p-values of 0.025. 4) Work discipline has a positive and insignificant effect on the quality of public services. This is evidenced by the original sample value of 0.198 and p-values of 0.263. 5) Public service quality has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the original sample value of 0.512 and p-values of 0.000. 6) HR competence has a significant positive effect on employee performance mediated by the quality of public services. This is evidenced by the original sample value of 0.305 and p-values of 0.009. 7) Work discipline has a significant positive effect on employee performance mediated by the quality of public services. This is evidenced by the original sample value of 0.143 and p-values of 0.038.

This type of research is explanatory (Explanatory Research) research that analyzes the relationships between one variable and another or how a variable affects another variable through hypothesis submission, using a quantitative approach, the research sample was 88 respondents. In this study the data will be processed using SEM-PLS data analysis. The objectives of this study are: 1) To determine and analyze the direct effect of work discipline on the performance of Polres personnel. 2) To determine and analyze the direct effect of work discipline on job promotion 3) To determine and analyze the direct effect of job promotion on personnel performance. 4) To determine and analyze the indirect effect of work discipline on personnel performance mediated by job promotion. This type of research is explanatory research, the approach used is a quantitative approach, the research sample is 46 people. The analysis tool uses Smart PLS (Partial Least Square). Research objectives: 1) To determine and analyze the influence of competence on the employee performance of PT Pegadaian CP Ponorogo. 2) To determine and analyze the influence of competence on the work ability of the PT Pegadaian CP Ponorogo. 3) To determine and analyze the influence of loyalty on the employee performance of PT Pegadaian CP Ponorogo. 4) To determine and analyze the indirect influence of loyalty on the work ability of PT Pegadaian CP Ponorogo. 5) To determine and analyze the indirect influence of work ability on the employee performance of PT Pegadaian CP Ponorogo. 6) To determine and analyze the indirect influence of competence on the employee performance of PT Pegadaian CP Ponorogo which is mediated by work ability. 7) To determine and analyze the indirect influence of loyalty on the employee performance of PT Pegadaian CP Ponorogo. The research results show that: 1) Competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by the original sample value of 0.369 and p-values ​​of 0.000. 2) Competence has a significant positive effect on work ability as proven by the original sample value of 0.373 and p-values ​​of 0.002. 3) Loyalty has a positive and significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by the original sample value of 0.492 and p-values ​​of 0.000. 4) Loyalty has a significant positive effect on work ability as proven by the original sample value of 0.378 and p-values ​​of 0.000. 5) Work ability has a significant positive effect on employee performance as evidenced by the original sample value of 0.378 and p-values ​​of 0.000. 6) Competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance which is mediated by work ability as evidenced by the original sample value of 0.141 and p-values ​​of 0.013. 7) Loyalty has a positive and significant effect on employee performance which is mediated by work ability as evidenced by the original sample value of 0.186 and p-values ​​of 0.001.

Abstract

Many variables can affect the company's stock returns, this study focuses on the aim to determine the effect of inflation, interest rates and rupiah exchange rates on stock returns of financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The inflation rate, interest rate, and rupiah exchange rate are obtained from the official website of Bank Indonesia. While the value of stock returns is obtained from data from OJK (Financial Services Authority) and the financial statements of 5 banks listed on the IDX, namely BRI, Mandiri, BNI, BCA, and BTN. The entire data was taken from the last 10 years, namely from 2014 - 2024 with linear regression path analysis techniques with a 1 scheme structure pattern. Based on the results of the analysis, this study states that the effect of inflation, interest rates, and the rupiah exchange rate on financial sector stock returns on the IDX is not statistically significant. Although there is a positive relationship between inflation and stock returns, as well as a positive relationship between interest rates and stock returns, both are not strong enough to be considered significant at the 95% confidence level.
