Abstract

This research discusses sexual violence against the main female character in the novel Mayday Mayday by Laili Muttamimah. Therefore, this study aims to describe: (1) the form of sexual violence experienced by the female protagonist in the novel Mayday Mayday, (2) the implications for learning to identify novels for grade XI high school students.This research uses a qualitative approach. The data source of this research is the novel Mayday Mayday. The object of this research is all forms of sexual violence experienced by the main female character in the novel Mayday Mayday. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The forms of sexual violence contained in the novel Mayday Mayday are physical sexual harassment, non-physical sexual harassment, rape, sexual torture, and discrimination of the victim's gender identity. The results of this study are used in short story learning for grade XI high school students, in accordance with KD 3.6 analyzing the message of the novel fiction book read by understanding the content of the message conveyed by the author aims to develop reasoning skills.

Abstract

Church Accompaniment Music is an instrument that produces a beautiful and melodious tone and plays one of the important roles in Church Worship. However, it is not yet known the congregation's response to the accompaniment music. This research was conducted to find out and describe the congregation's satisfaction with the music of worship accompaniment. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The sample of this study was the congregation of GKE Sinta Asi Muara Teweh with a sampling quota technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques by using data frequency distribution tables and guideline tables to describe data. Of the 31 respondents to the congregation of the Kalimantan Evangelical Church Sinta Asi Muara Teweh stated that they were satisfied with the accompaniment music and it was functioning properly and in accordance with the needs of the congregation to worship. It was shown that 20 respondents (54.50%) stated good, 9 respondents (29.10%) stated quite good. Of the different types of accompaniment used: 71% of respondents stated that worship was more satisfied accompanied by a piano (without a rhythm keyboard). There were 22.60% of respondents who stated that worship could be accompanied by other musical instruments. Based on the aspect of the congregation living or not: there are 61.35% of respondents living and 32.35% of respondents feeling less passionate. Musik Iringan Gereja merupakan suatu suatu instrumen yang menghasilkan suatu nada yang indah dan merdu serta memainkan salah satu peranan penting dalam Ibadah Gereja. Namun belum diketahui tanggapan jemaat terhadap musik iringan. Penelitian ini di lakukan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan kepuasan jemaat terhadap musik iringan ibadah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah jemaat GKE Sinta Asi Muara Teweh dengan teknik kuota sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan tabel distribusi frekuensi data dan tabel pedoman untuk mendeskripsikan data. Dari 31 orang responden jemaat Gereja Kalimantan Evangelis Sinta Asi Muara Teweh menyatakan sudah merasa puas terhadap musik iringan dan sudah berfungsi dengan baik dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan jemaat untuk beribadah. Hal ini ditunjukan bahwa 20 responden (54,50%) menyatakan baik, 9 responden (29,10%) menyatakan cukup baik. Dari perbedaan jenis iringan yang digunakan: 71% responden menyatakan ibadah lebih puas diiringi dengan piano (tanpa rhythm keyboard). Terdapat 22,60% responden menyatakan ibadah dapat diiringi alat musik lain. Berdasarkan aspek jemaat menghayati atau tidak: terdapat 61,35% responden menghayati dan 32,35% responden merasa kurang menghayati.

Abstract

Traditional musical instruments are one of the important elements in preserving local wisdom. In the context of Dayak local wisdom, Rebab Sanggiling Bulau is a traditional musical instrument of the Dayak tribe that has spiritual value and is a symbol of rich and historical cultural identity. However, in the midst of globalization and rapid technological developments, the existence of traditional musical instruments such as Rebab Sanggiling Bulau typical of Dayak has its own challenges in its preservation. The existence of Rebab Sanggiling Bulau is threatened by minimal documentation, lack of regeneration and dominance of popular culture. For this reason, digital technology is needed that can be integrated with creative innovation to promote and expand appreciation of Rebab Sanggiling Bulau. This study aims to examine the potential of digital innovation to maintain cultural values ​​and as a preservation of Rebab Sanggiling Bulau. The research method is qualitative through a literature study approach and descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and FGD (Focus Group Discussion). From the results of organological observations of Sanggiling Bulau, as well as interviews and FGDs with sources and traditional music practitioners, efforts to preserve Rebab Sanggiling Bulau as local wisdom include documentation, so that the technological innovation needed is the digitalization of Rebab Sanggiling Bulau sound with the help of a tool called a spull and a sound effect plugin on DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). The technological innovation carried out on Rebab Sanggiling Bulau is expected to attract the attention of the younger generation, so that the younger generation will learn traditional musical instruments that will have an impact on the preservation of traditional music as a continuation of local wisdom in the digital era.

Abstract

Musik tradisi Dayak adalah musik yang lahir dan berkembang di pulau Kalimantan yang identik dengan kebudayaan khas suku Dayak. Generasi muda saat ini, khususnya generasi milenial mulai meninggalkan musik tradisi Dayak dikarenakan beberapa faktor seperti perkembangan teknologi, pergaulan dengan budaya lain, hingga modernisasi. Generasi milenial lebih tertarik dengan musik-musik modern yang easy listening. Hal ini dapat mengancam kelestarian kebudayaan dan kesenian tradisi, khususnya di bidang seni musik. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan reposisi musik tradisional untuk meningkatkan eksistensi berkesenian generasi milenial. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dan studi pustaka. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah pendiri sanggar Antang Batuah, praktisi, dan akademisi bidang budaya tradisi Dayak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan FGD (Focus Group Discussion). Dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan beberapa FGD yang dilakukan didapati bahwa perlu adanya reposisi musik tradisional berupa penggunaan pattern percussion modern pada aransemen musik tradisi Dayak. Namun tidak semua pattern modern dapat diadaptasi pada musik tradisi Dayak karena pattern yang terlalu rumit, sehingga tidak cocok untuk musik tradisi Dayak yang mayoritas digunakan sebagai musik pengiring tari. Penggunaan pattern percussion modern terbukti membawa suasana baru pada musik tradisi Dayak dan terdengar lebih kekinian sehingga akan dapat menarik minat generasi milenial terhadap musik tradisi Dayak.

Abstract

Currently, character education has become a fundamental aspect in shaping the personality of the nation's next generation. Character education has become part of the national education system to ensure that future generations possess not only academic intelligence but also sound moral foundations. Character education can be instilled through learning media in schools. Drama, in this case, has excellent potential to become a fun and engaging character education medium for students. Drama trains students to develop empathy, responsibility, discipline, teamwork, selfconfidence, and creativity. This research focuses on the use of drama as a medium for character education at SMPN 4 Telangkah Village, Katingan Hilir. In general, the purpose of this study is to explore and analyze the use of drama in shaping student character at SMPN 4 Telangkah Village. The research method used is a qualitative  approach with a case study design. The expected outputs of this research are in-depth findings regarding the practice of utilizing drama in the context of character education, as well as a scientific article published in an accredited national journal. The description of the TKT for this research is at level 3, meaning the research design and methodology are comprehensive.
