Abstract

This study aims to analyze poetry writing skills using the Think Talk Write learning model in elementary school students. Sources of data used in this study are books and journals related to poetry writing skills using the Think Talk Write learning model. The method used in this research is literature review. The research was conducted by collecting data using books, as well as various journals related to the required research variables. The analysis that has been carried out from several journals is to explain the advantages and disadvantages of the Think Talk Write learning model in students' poetry writing skills in elementary schools. Based on the analysis of ten articles of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model, the lowest percentage value is 2.25% and the highest is 36%. Think Talk Write learning model can help develop children's creativity and develop imagination.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSalah satu tujuan mata kuliah metodologi pembelajaran afektif adalah agar mahasiswa memiliki wawasan yang luas terkait perkembangan afektif anak usia dini. Usia perkembangan manusia pada masa anak usia dini disebut masa keemasan (golden age), suatu masa dimana anak secara khusus mudah menerima stimulus-stimulus dari lingkungan. Ada beberapa perkembangan pada anak usia dini, salah satunya adalah perkembangan sosial, dimana anak mulai membangun hubungan dengan keluarga mereka dan juga orang lain. Unsur-unsur perkembangan sosial tersebut yang perlu dibantu perkembangannyasecara optimal oleh guru dan calon guru anak usia dini, dilakukan melalui penerapan problem based learning. Untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dosen dan kualitas pembelajaran dilakukan kegiatanLesson Study di program Studi PG PAUD FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya, dimana proses sistematik dilaksanakan antara dosen yang berkolaborasi untuk merancang (plan) , mengamati (do) dan melakukan refleksi (see) terhadap mata kuliah metodologipembelajaran afektif anak usia dini.

Abstract

Kegiatan lesson study ini bertujuan: 1) meningkatkan aktivitas mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah tari anak usia dini melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif, 2) meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa dalam pada mata kuliah tari untuk anak usia dini melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif. Subjek kegiatan 24 orang mahasiswa prodi PG PAUD FKIP UM Surabaya Semester gasal TA 2013/2014. Prosedur kegiatan yang dilakukan: 1.perencanaan (Plan), 2. pelaksanaan (Do), 3.refleksi (See). Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara dan angket. Hasil yang ada ini adalah aktivitas dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa dapat meningkat melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif, terlihat dalam aktivitas dan prestasi mahasiswa yang mengalami peningkatan dalam siklus I sampai IV.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran, kooperatif, tari, anak usia dini

Abstract

Understanding the concept of gender as the division of roles of men and women who are socially and culturally constructed, needs to be done in order to realize equality and gender justice. The understanding, necessary to place women as subjects of development, in order to improve the position and role of women in national and state life. This research is done on the women sellers crackers, data collection was done by a written interview. Data were analyzed using the Harvard Gender Analysis Method, to determine the four basic elements: (1) Profile of activity based on gender division of labor, (2) Access Profile, (3) Profile control; (4) Factors related to the things that lead to the distribution of work, the profiles, access and community control. Results obtained in the activity profiles based on gender division of labor, which includes a list of tasks men and women, mothers appear dominant task. Profile access and control over resources within the family, women in a weak position. While in reality, women have the "role and employment" which determines the continuity of family life. For that education and training activities can be provided as one way in order to empower women to be more efficient and effective manner. Kata Kunci : Kontrol, Kepemilikan, Sumber Daya, dan Usaha Keluarga.

Abstract

Pandemi virus corona-19 telah memberikan dampak yang luar biasa bagi banyak negara yang ada di dunia dan memengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan, salah satunya pendidikan. Dikarenakan pandemi wabah ini, pendidikan tidak lagi dapat dilakukan di sekolah melainkan diharuskan melalui daring untuk memutus rantai penyebaran virus tersebut. Pembelajaran daring yang peneliti lakukan ialah dengan menggunakan aplikasi google classroom karena dirasa paling mudah digunakan untuk anak-anak sekolah dasar kelas 6 di MI Muhammadiyah 5 Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran daring menggunakan aplikasi google classroom dan whatsapp (2) Menganalisa hasil belajar kelas menggunakan pembelajaran daring dengan google form. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskripsi kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran daring dan pengumpulan data penilaian harian untuk mengukur pemahaman materi bilangan bulat. Adapun hasil penelitian antara lain (1) Respon siswa dengan indikator pertama terkait minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran daring berbasis google classroom cukup tinggi dan merasa bahwa pembelajaran berbasis google classroom sangat mudah digunakan serta dapat diakses kapan saja. Selanjutnya indikator kedua terkait fasilitas yang memadai dalam mendukung pembelajaran daring berbasis google classroom ini sudah cukup baik, meskipun masih ada beberapa siswa yang terkendala jaringan yang tidak stabil. Indikator ketiga terkait peran serta orang tua dalam pembelajaran daring berbasis google classroom ini masih perlu ditingkatkan karena masih sekitar 50 % lebih saja yang sudah mendampingi putra putri dalam pembelajaran daring (2) Hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran daring berbasis google classroom untuk materi bilangan bulat sudah baik dengan rata-rata nilai per kelas sekitar 76, sehingga dapat disimpulkan siswa kelas 6 sudah memahami materi bilangan bulat melalui pembelajaran daring. Abstract

Tujuan pendidkan nasional yang tercantum dalam UU No. 20/2003 tentang Sisdiknas, halitu membawa dampak pada keharusan menyelenggarakan pendidikan secara benar. Artinya gurudan siswa yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran dapat melaksanakan sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidahyang telah disepakati. Guru melaksanakan pembelajaran secara profesional, artinya memilikikompetensi sebagaimana disyaratkan dalam peraturan perundang-undangan. Sedangkan siswasebagai pebelajar hendaknya diperhatikan hak-haknya, agar dapat mengembangkan seluruhpotensi yang ada pada dirinya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the interest of students in distance learning in grade I of SD Muhammadiyah 11 Surabaya. The type of research used is qualitative research. Participants in the study were teachers, grade 1 students and parents with data collection techniques conducted, namely questionnaires, interviews, and documents. The results showed that students' interest in learning while participating in distance learning based on high achievement criteria is good enough because students enjoy learning, so they always actively ask their parents if they do not understand. The interest in learning students with moderate achievement criteria is also good enough because students are happy with the assistance from parents so that students show seriousness in learning. While students with achievement criteria are lacking, their learning interest is still lacking, this is due to the background of working parents.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of the development of the independent character of elementary school students in learning from home during the Covid-19 pandemic at SD Muhammadiyah 8 Surabaya in grades 4, 5, and 6 by referring to the achievement of indicators of independent character values and the obstacles that arise in their achievement. By using a qualitative approach, the discussion will be presented in a descriptive explanation. The research subjects are 99 upper-class student respondents (4, 5, and 6) at SD Muhammadiyah 8 Surabaya. The research is carried out only by taking data on March, April, and May 2020 as the research scope. In this research, data are collected giving online questionnaire observation techniques to students, accompanied by parents, and having direct interviews with class teachers and subject teachers. The discussion in this research shows that the level of development of the independent character of students has been built with an average of being in the category of culture and development even though there are still obstacles because they require assistance, either directly or indirectly from parents and teachers.Keywords: Character, Independence, Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

Character building currently requires a continuous process. Character will be a very important component for a student to build a good generation. It means that the character of students is very important to determine a person's attitude and behavior. Forming character in adult students is rather difficult to realize good character, so it will be better to form children's character from an early age. For this, it is necessary to develop the potential of students who aim at character education through extracurricular programs which are activities outside of learning hours. This extracurricular program is an additional activity whose allocations outside the learning hours are not stipulated in the 2013 curriculum. The Scout Movement is one of the places and efforts to foster the character of the easy generation by using scouting education to be implemented according to the interests of the development of elementary school students. Scout extracurricular activities will apply the value of cooperation that will be instilled in students. When the extra scouting activities take place students will discuss with other students in a team which will form a group at the scout level. The purpose of this article is to instill the formation of national character values ​​in students more effectively through scout extracurricular activities by emphasizing the value of cooperation and solidarity. Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melatih guru-guru sekolah dasar untuk menulis cerita bermuatan multikulturalisme untuk anak-anak. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan bermitra kepada tiga sekolah dasar Muhammadiyah, yakni SDM 8 Surabaya, SDM 15 Surabaya, dan SDM 18 Surabaya. Masing-masing sekolah mengirimkan guru delegasi untuk mengikuti workshop penulisan kreatif yang diselenggarakan pada 7–8 Juli 2018. Pelatihan ini dilanjutkan dengan sesi 32 jam coaching clinic yang bertujuan me-review dan merevisi cerita pendek hasil karya guru mitra. Hasil dari pelatihan diketahui bahwa pendidikan multikulturalisme melalui cerita pendek untuk anak mampu menjadi sebuah cara yang efektif dalam menanamkan literasi budaya di sekolah dasar.
