Abstract

Abstract: The initial study was conducted on one of the partners of the PGSD department of the State University of Malang, namely a state elementary school in Malang City. Initial studies have been carried out in the Teaching Material Development Training scheme, in general, on the collection of teaching module assignments only completed by about 60 percent of participants. During spontaneous interviews at the activity, data showed that teachers found it difficult to implement the Independent Curriculum. Based on the assessment of partner needs and problems, the solution to solving these needs is to hold training. The proposer team initiated an activity, namely "Training on the Development of Independent Curriculum Supplements Based on Local Wisdom for Elementary School Teachers in Malang City." This training was held in the context of continuous professional development for teachers in Malang City. The implementation method in this service activity is divided into 3 stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. As a result, through training on the development of independent curriculum supplements based on local wisdom, it is able to provide benefits for partners, namely increasing understanding in developing supplements that are given the freedom to utilize the theme of local wisdom. Abstrak: Kajian awal dilakukan terhadap salah satu mitra dari departemen PGSD Universitas Negeri Malang yaitu sekolah dasar negeri yang ada di Kota Malang. Studi awal telah dilakukan dalam skema Pelatihan Pengembangan Bahan Ajar, secara umum pada pengumpulan tugas modul ajar hanya diselesaikan oleh sekitar 60 persen partisipan. Pada saat dilakukan wawancara spontan pada kegiatan tersebut diperoleh data bahwa guru-guru merasa kesulitan dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka. Berdasarkan kajian kebutuhan dan permasalahan mitra maka solusi untuk menyelesaikan kebutuhan tersebut yaitu dengan mengadakan sebuah pelatihan. Tim pengusul menggagas sebuah kegiatan yaitu “Pelatihan Pengembangan Suplemen Kurikulum Merdeka berbasis Kearifan Lokal untuk Guru-Guru SD di Kota Malang.” Pelatihan ini diadakan dalam rangka pengembangan keprofesionalan berkelanjutan bagi guru-guru di Kota Malang. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dibagi menjadi 3 tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Hasilnya, melalui pelatihan pengembangan suplemen kurikulum merdeka berbasis kearifan lokal, mampu memberikan manfaat bagi mitra yakni peningkatan pemahaman dalam pengembangan suplemen yang diberi kebebasan memanfaatkan tema kearifan lokal.

Abstract

Kelompok Kerja Guru 8 Kelurahan Karangbesuki Kecamatan Sukun Kota Malang mengungkapkan bahwa mereka seringkali merasa kesulitan dalam penyusunan Modul Ajar Kurikulum Merdeka. Hal ini dikarenakan harus sesuai dengan CP kurikulum merdeka yang menggunakan pendekatan technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge (TPACK). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk wadah pelatihan bagi guru terkait modul ajar yang berbasis technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge (TPACK). Metode yang diterapkan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mencakup tahap perencanaan dengan menjajaki kebutuhan mitra, tahap pelaksanaan yang dilakukan dengan format blended learning dengan pemanfaatan platform Google Sites. Selanjutnya tahap evaluasi dengan penilaian hasil dengan teman sejawat. Hasil data menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru sudah mengikuti perkembangan teknologi dan menggunakannya pada pembelajaran, serta mampu menggabungkan pengetahuan tentang materi, pedagogi, dan teknologi yang dimiliki untuk merancang pembelajaran. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan pengembangan modul ajar berbasis TPACK ini, lebih dari 90% peserta dapat menyajikan contoh-contoh penerapan TPACK yang menarik dikemas dalam bentuk modul ajar kurikulum merdeka. Pelatihan pengembangan modul ajar Kurikulum Merdeka berbasis TPACK sukses dilaksanakan serta dipandang menarik dan bermanfaat oleh guru.

Abstract

The research was conducted to describe the numeracy literacy abilities of class IV students in geometry material at SDN Kesatrian 1 Malang City and techniques for solving numeracy literacy questions in geometry material. The type of research is qualitative research with a case study method. The data collection technique goes through two stages: tests and interviews. The data collection instruments used in this research were test questions and interview grids. Data analysis using student test result documents and interview results using the Miles & Huberman model, namely data reduction, presentation and conclusion. Students with high numeracy literacy abilities have communication skills and context mathematization abilities, students with moderate numeracy literacy abilities can choose problem-solving strategies but do not carry out communication skills, and students with low numeracy literacy abilities do not meet the indicators for numeracy literacy abilities. The problem-solving technique students use is the formula for the perimeter and area of a rectangle. This research aims to help teachers organize mathematics learning based on numeracy literacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan penalaran matematis sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode skip counting serta apakah ada perbedaan kemampuan penalaran matematis materi perkalian siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode skip counting pada pembelajaran matematika di SD Negeri Punten 01. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa dari SD Negeri Punten 01. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas 2A berjumlah 24 siswa, 10 laki-laki dan 14 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara sebagai data awal, tes kemampuan penalaran matematis perkalian yang berbentuk essay. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Nilai rata-rata yaitu pada pretest 35,21 dan rata-rata nilai posttest 65,63. Serta hasil output uji wilcoxon untuk menguji hipotesis didapatkan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) dari 0,000 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest siswa pada kemampuan penalaran matematis materi perkalian menggunakan metode skip counting siswa SD Negeri Punten 01. Indikator “menarik kesimpulan” yang menjadi indikator terendah setelah mendapat perlakuan dengan skip counting.

Abstract

Abstract

Common problems include teachers having difficulty carrying out classroom action research activities and also having difficulty writing scientific articles. This problem has an impact on other problems, namely efforts to continue seeking promotion with work that is not original. Based on the problems that occur in partner schools, an alternative solution is offered, namely providing assistance in writing scientific papers for elementary school teachers in Malang City. In this activity, almost all participants fully participated in the activities that had been carried out and were also involved in submitting the final assignment. In the majority, the final assignments submitted are draft articles based on IMRAD style journals. Based on the results of the review of assignments that have been developed, as many as 15 work titles are in the journal review stage to be ready for publication. This shows the success of the activities carried out.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan serta bagaimana teknik cross-line mempengaruhi kemampuan siswa untuk berhitung perkalian di kelas III MIN 2 Malang. Pendekatan kuantitatif jenis quasi eksperimen digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas III di MIN 2 Malang dengan total 64 siswa sebagai populasi penelitian. Pada penelitian ini, sampel terdiri dari 21 siswa dari kelas III B selaku kelas eksperimen dan 20 siswa dari kelas III C selaku kelas kontrol. Observasi, wawancara, dan tes digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Uji t dan analisis regresi linier sederhana merupakan teknik analisis data yang digunakan. Kemampuan siswa untuk berhitung perkalian antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan dengan nilai 0,002. Variabel kemampuan berhitung perkalian dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh variabel teknik cross-line, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan JASP dan diperoleh hasil 0,006. Berdasarkan uji koefisien determinasi diperoleh nilai 0,335 yang berarti memberikan pengaruh sebesar 33,5%.

Abstract

Learning mathematics is a challenge that is often faced by students at various levels of education because learning mathematics tends to be too theoretical, less contextual, and varied so students' interest in learning mathematics decreases. Lack of context in learning mathematics that links students' culture and everyday life so students have difficulty understanding the material. This study aims to produce ethnomathematics-based learning videos that use traditional cakes as a learning context for spatial recognition material for first-grade elementary school students. The traditional cake was chosen as a culturally relevant context to introduce students to the basic concepts of geometric shapes. The ADDIE development model was used with data collection instruments using observation and interviews with teachers and students. The research subjects included media experts, material experts, users, and first-grade elementary school students who were declared very valid with the results of the media expert test score of 100%, material experts 90.9%, and users 100%. Product practicality based on small-scale trials gets a percentage of 100% and large-scale gets a percentage of 97% for first-grade elementary school students. From these results, it can be stated that traditional cake ethnomathematics-based learning videos are interesting and practical to use.

Abstract

This community service aims to strengthen the integrated ecoliteracy profile of Pancasila students among elementary school teachers. The implementation of this activity refers to the achievement of SDGs 4 and 13, namely quality education and handling climate change. A series of activities were carried out in the form of training and mentoring. Through this program, the level of understanding of teachers about ecological environmental concerns increased from 50% to 74% as shown by the test results. The methods applied include interactive workshops and also making projects in the form of an integrated ecoliteracy activity book of Pancasila student profiles. This program was implemented for one month in cluster 1 Poncokusumo, Malang Regency involving 50 teachers. The implementation of this activity is expected to create a generation that is not only academically smart but also has a strong character in implementing the values of Pancasila and environmental awareness for sustainable life.

Abstract

The results of the PISA 2022 survey show that the mathematical skills of students in Indonesia is still at low criteria. The weakness of students' mathematical problem solving skills can be the cause of students' difficulty working on questions tested on the PISA test which are at a high level. This can be caused by students not being used to working on questions at a high level or non-routinely. In learning mathematical problem solving, basic mathematical abilities are needed, namely numeracy skills. Students' lack of numeracy skills can result in a lack of understanding in solving mathematical problems. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type of research. Data collection was carried out using the test method. The sample in this study consisted of 91 students in fifth grades at Gugus 2 Kecamatan Plemahan. The results of this study include differences in mathematical problem solving ability between male and female students, there is no difference in numeracy skills between male and female students, and there is a significant relationship between mathematical problem solving ability and numeracy skills in male and female students with a sig value. 0,000 ≤ 0,05.
