Abstract

This study aims to determine that the mathematics learning achievement of students who use the SAVI learning model is better than that of students who use the LT learning model in class VIII students in MTs. This study used 2 classes, namely class VIII A and VIII C, which were obtained using simple random sampling. Methods of data collection using the method of documentation and tests. The normality test uses the Lilliefors method, the homogeneity test of variance uses the Bartlett method, the balance test uses the t-test, and the hypothesis test uses the t-test with a significant level of = 0.025. The average control class was 77,226, and the experimental class was 79,194. The results of hypothesis testing using the right-hand t-test obtained count = 0.492 while table = 2.299, DK ={ t|t > 2.299}, this indicates that count DK. The conclusion of this study is that H0 is accepted, meaning that the mathematics learning achievement of students using the Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual (SAVI) learning model is not better than the mathematics learning achievement of students using the Listening Team learning model in class VIII students in MTs. The formation of groups from the two cooperative learning models, namely Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual (SAVI) and Listening Teams, resulted in both models giving the same results when applied in the classroom. Therefore, both models can contribute to improving student achievement.

Abstract

Pembelajaran online telah banyak diterapkan di kelas semenjak merebaknya pandemi COVID-19 dengan berbagai strateginya, salah satunya melalui pembelajaran kolaborasi. Banyak penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran online mampu digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah, khususnya matematika. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan telaah kajian sistematik mengenai proses pembelajaran kolaborasi online pada pemecahan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini mengkaji 12 artikel hasil penyaringan dari data base Scopus, Google Scholar, dan PubMed dengan prosedur PRISMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan keterampilan pemecahan masalah sangat memungkinkan untuk ditangani melalui pembelajaran kolaborasi online. Secara garis besar, efektifitas pembelajaran kolaborasi online untuk meningkatkan pemecahan masalah sangat ditentukan oleh strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan.Online learning has been widely implemented in the classroom since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic with various strategies, one of which is through collaborative learning. Many studies show that online learning can be used to improve problem solving skills, especially mathematics. Thus, this study aims to conduct a systematic review of the process of online collaborative learning in solving mathematical problems. This study examines 12 articles that were screened from the Scopus, Google Scholar, and PubMed databases using the PRISMA procedure. The results of the study show that it is very possible to increase problem solving skills to be handled through online collaborative learning. In general, the effectiveness of online collaborative learning to improve problem solving is largely determined by the learning strategy used.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the mathematics learning outcomes of students subjected to the flipped classroom are better than those of students subjected to conventional learning models. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research. The sample of this research is 34 students of class X TKRO 1 and 33 students of class X AKL 3 SMKN 1 Sapuran. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The data collection technique used is the documentation method and the test method. The analytical technique used is data analysis with a balance test and data analysis after treatment with a t-test hypothesis. The results of the calculation of the hypothesis test in the experimental class and control class are tcount = 2,976 and the value of ttable = 1,669 with DK = so that H0 rejected. Based on the test decision stating H0 was rejected, then this study concludes that the learning outcomes subjected to the flipped classroom are better than the learning outcomes subjected to the conventional learning model.

Abstract

Literacy on Islamic social ecology is the human interaction with the natural environment, technology, and social which is based on the basic principles of Islam. Reconstruction of literacy on Islamic social ecology that can be reconstructed is a basic tenet of Islam that affirms the human position as a "leader" by "mandate" to manage "Earth" or "natural environment and natural resources" as well as possible. Reconstruction of ecological literacy is then to be actualized in society. The process of actualization is actual activity in instilling awareness of the social ecology of Islam in the society which is done in the social space of families, communities, and schools organized by the state through policies and regulations. With the process of reconstruction and actualization, then the state will actively build social-ecological awareness of Islam in order to realize a base of awareness, knowledge, and values of Islamic social ecology in society.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate and describe how creative thinking skills and problem-solving strategies are used by prospective mathematics teacher students in solving non-routine problems. Non-routine problems given to the subject require the use of mathematical conceptual understanding and procedural knowledge or algorithms used to find solutions to solve them. The results of the analysis of student-teacher solutions show that each student uses at least two problem-solving strategies. The most frequently used strategies are using algebraic manipulation, making logical reasoning with diagrams/models, and trial and error. Students with high categories show proficiency in using appropriate problem-solving strategies and students with lower categories still show an introduction to solving strategies so that they are confused about choosing the right strategy for a particular problem.

Abstract

This research examines the storybook Umar Bin Khattab Jagoanku by Ulfah H.T Dan Reini related to the value of leadership for early childhood in the story. The example of the leader in the story is a friend of the Prophet and the second Caliph, Umar Bin Khattab. The purpose of this study was to analyze the value of leadership in early childhood in the storybook Umar Bin Khattab Jagoanku Karya Ulfah H.T Dan Reini. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a textual analysis approach or library research in the form of a literature review. Source data from Umar Bin Khattab Jagoanku storybook. Data collection is carried out by reading, understanding, recording, analyzing by collecting, conceptualizing, filtering and sorting out matching data. Data analysis is performed by reducing data, classifying data, and verifying data information. Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the LDMAT and SRL models in improving problem-solving skills in students with learning difficulties in mathematics. The research involved 18 junior high school students and employed a mixed research design. The assessment of problem-solving skills was conducted through pre-test and post-test measurements, consisting of 10 essay-based tests and weekly assignments. Furthermore, problem-solving understanding was assessed based on the strategies utilized by students in the post-test. Data analysis involved using paired t-tests to compare pre-test and post-test results. The findings indicate that applying the LDMAT and SRL models significantly enhanced problem-solving skills in students with learning difficulties in mathematics, particularly among female students. Moreover, the students exhibited an improved understanding of problem-solving procedures. This study underscores the efficacy of the LDMAT and SRL models in enhancing problem-solving abilities and promoting deeper comprehension of problem-solving strategies among students with learning difficulties in mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa modul ajar berbasis problem based learning yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Purworejo pada siswa kelas VII. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan wawancara, validasi modul ajar, angket respon, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis dari segi kelayakan modul ajar yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa modul ajar berbasis problem based learning valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Penilaian modul ajar yang dilakukan oleh dua validator ahli menunjukan bahwa modul ajar berbasis problem based learning yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid dengan rata-rata 3,23 yang berarti bahwa modul ajar berbasis problem based learning dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian kepraktisan dari data angket respon siswa untuk uji coba luas diperoleh persentase kepraktisan 86% dengan kriteria sangat praktis, serta angket respon guru diperoleh persentase kepraktisan 85,27% dengan kriteria sangat praktis, yang berarti bahwa modul ajar berbasis problem based learning mudah digunakan dan diterapkan dalam penggunaannya. Modul ajar berbasis problem based learning memenuhi kriteria efektif berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test kemampuan komunikasi matematis sebanyak 32 siswa dengan menggunakan uji N-Gain memperoleh skor 0,59 dengan kriteria sedang yang berarti bahwa modul ajar berbasis problem based learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Modul ajar berbasis problem based learning dikategorikan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mathematical creative thinking abilities of class VII extrovert students in solving open-ended questions on flat shape material. This type of research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. This study involved 3 seventh graders studnets who were taken using purposive sampling technique as research subjek. The instrument used for taking prospective subjects is the extrovert personality questionnaire. The data collection techniques used are tests of creative thinking abilities, interviews and field notes.  The data analysis techniques in this study used technical triangulation, namely data redduction, presentation data and conclusion. The results of the study show that extroverted students bring out aspects of novelty and flexibility. Based on research results, the creative thinking abilities of extroverted students is classified at level 2 (Quite Creative). Extrovert students need a discussion space to get feedback so they can issue or present their ideas fluently.

Abstract

The research was conducted to determine the validity, practicality, and validity of problem-based learning teaching modules in the form of flipbooks to improve students' critical thinking skills in Phase E. The type of research used was research and development (RD) using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this study were class X students (Phase E) and educators at SMA N 1 Prembun. Data was collected using interviews, questionnaires, and test questions. Interview sheets, validation questionnaires, practicality questionnaires, and test questions were used as instruments in this study. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the problem-based learning module in the form of a flipbook will improve students' critical thinking skills in Phase E concentration. 1) is valid with a yield proportion of 80%; 2) practical for educators with a proportion yield of 86%; and 3) effective with an n-gain score of 0.78. Based on this, problem-based learning modules in the form of flipbooks to improve students' critical thinking skills in Phase E can be used in educational units with appropriate characteristics. The use of flipbooks is not limited to student worksheets; all independent curriculum modules are in flipbooks.
