Abstract

Keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi merupakan kompetensi penting yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa sekolah dasar, terutama untuk mendukung kemampuan berpikir kritis dan komunikasi tertulis mereka. Namun, kenyataannya keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa di tingkat dasar masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang cenderung konvensional dan minimnya penerapan model pembelajaran yang mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa. Model RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang menjanjikan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis dengan menekankan pada kegiatan membaca, diskusi, dan penciptaan teks secara bertahap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model RADEC dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi pada siswa kelas V di UPT SPF SD Inpres Baddoka, Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk memberikan gambaran mendalam mengenai proses pembelajaran serta dampak penerapan model RADEC terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model RADEC memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa. Model ini mendorong siswa lebih aktif berpartisipasi melalui diskusi dan tahap penciptaan teks yang terstruktur. Selain itu, motivasi siswa untuk menulis teks eksplanasi meningkat secara signifikan. Namun, beberapa kendala diidentifikasi, seperti keterbatasan waktu untuk menyusun teks eksplanasi secara menyeluruh dan kebutuhan akan pendampingan lebih intensif bagi siswa yang kesulitan. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, disarankan agar guru memberikan alokasi waktu yang lebih fleksibel serta bimbingan tambahan bagi siswa yang memerlukan dukungan lebih lanjut. Selain itu, penggunaan teknologi informasi, seperti media digital, dapat membantu menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih variatif dan interaktif. Dengan penerapan yang tepat, model RADEC memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan keterampilan menulis siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar. Writing skills, particularly in explanatory texts, are essential competencies that elementary school students need to develop to enhance their critical thinking and written communication abilities. However, many students at this level still demonstrate low proficiency in explanatory writing, often due to the predominance of conventional teaching methods and a lack of learning models that encourage active student participation. The RADEC model (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) offers a promising approach to improve writing skills by emphasizing staged activities involving reading, discussion, and text creation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the RADEC model in teaching explanatory text writing skills among fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Baddoka, Makassar City. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research provides an in-depth overview of the teaching process and the effects of RADEC model application on students’ writing abilities. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. Findings reveal that the RADEC model positively influences students’ writing skills by fostering active participation through group discussions and structured text creation phases. Additionally, students’ motivation to write explanatory texts significantly increased. Challenges identified include limited time allocation for comprehensive text writing and the need for more intensive guidance for students facing difficulties. To overcome these challenges, it is recommended that teachers provide more flexible time allocation and additional support for students requiring further assistance. Moreover, the integration of digital media can help create a more varied and interactive learning environment. With proper implementation, the RADEC model holds significant potential to enhance the quality of learning and writing skills at the elementary level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kontekstual (Contextual Teaching and Learning/CTL) dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di UPT SPF SD Inpres Mannuruki 1 Kota Makassar. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya efektivitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia akibat penggunaan metode konvensional yang tidak relevan dengan pengalaman nyata siswa. Model CTL diharapkan mampu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan mengaitkan materi ajar dengan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari, sehingga siswa lebih termotivasi, aktif, dan mampu mengembangkan keterampilan berbahasa secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru dan siswa kelas V. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan CTL dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep, keterampilan menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis, serta motivasi belajar siswa. Strategi pembelajaran yang variatif dan interaktif berhasil menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan kontekstual. Namun demikian, efektivitas penerapan CTL masih perlu ditingkatkan melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran yang inovatif, diferensiasi strategi pengajaran, dan penguatan refleksi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa CTL merupakan pendekatan yang relevan dengan Kurikulum Merdeka dan berpotensi memperkuat kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat sekolah dasar. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in the teaching of Indonesian at UPT SPF SD Inpres Mannuruki 1 in Makassar City. The research is motivated by the low effectiveness of Indonesian language instruction due to the prevalent use of conventional methods that lack relevance to students' real-life experiences. The CTL model is expected to address this issue by connecting learning materials with everyday contexts, thereby enhancing student motivation, engagement, and comprehensive language skills. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects include fifth-grade teachers and students. The findings reveal that CTL implementation positively impacts students’ conceptual understanding, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, as well as their learning motivation. The use of varied and interactive teaching strategies contributes to a contextual and supportive learning environment. Nonetheless, the effectiveness of CTL can be further improved through the integration of innovative instructional media, differentiated teaching strategies, and stronger reflective practices. The implications of this study indicate that CTL is a relevant pedagogical approach aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum and holds significant potential in enhancing the quality of Indonesian language education at the elementary level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk, penyebab, dampak, serta upaya penanggulangan perilaku bullying terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa kelas V di UPT SPF SD Inpres Mannuruki 1 Kecamatan Biringkanaya Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bullying terjadi dalam berbagai bentuk, yaitu verbal, fisik, sosial, siber, dan seksual, yang secara signifikan memengaruhi kenyamanan dan perkembangan psikososial peserta didik. Penyebab utama dari perilaku bullying meliputi pola asuh keluarga yang tidak mendukung, kurangnya perhatian emosional dari orang tua, serta pengaruh negatif dari lingkungan sosial. Dampak yang ditimbulkan mencakup gangguan emosional pada korban dan pelaku, isolasi sosial, serta hambatan dalam perkembangan karakter positif siswa. Upaya yang dilakukan pihak sekolah antara lain peningkatan kepekaan guru, integrasi nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran, dan keterlibatan aktif seluruh warga sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam menyusun strategi pencegahan dan penanganan bullying di lingkungan sekolah dasar secara lebih sistematis dan menyeluruh. This study aims to analyze the forms, causes, impacts, and countermeasures of bullying behavior in shaping the character of fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Mannuruki 1, Biringkanaya District, Makassar City. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that bullying occurs in various forms, including verbal, physical, social, cyber, and sexual harassment, which significantly affect the students' comfort and psychosocial development. The primary causes of bullying include unsupportive parenting styles, lack of emotional attention from parents, and negative social influences. The impacts observed involve emotional disturbances among victims and perpetrators, social isolation, and barriers to the development of students’ positive character. The school's efforts to address these issues include enhancing teacher awareness, integrating character education into the learning process, and involving the entire school community. This research is expected to contribute to the formulation of more systematic and comprehensive strategies for bullying prevention and intervention in elementary school settings.

Abstract

Permasalahan sampah perkotaan masih menjadi tantangan lingkungan yang kompleks, terutama akibat rendahnya praktik pemilahan sampah sejak dari sumbernya. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa persoalan sampah tidak hanya berkaitan dengan aspek teknis pengelolaan, tetapi juga erat dengan tingkat literasi lingkungan dan perilaku masyarakat. Sekolah memiliki posisi strategis dalam menanamkan kesadaran lingkungan sejak dini, namun edukasi yang diberikan sering kali masih bersifat teoritis dan kurang aplikatif. Artikel pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan serta dampak program Makassar Goes to School dalam memperkuat literasi lingkungan peserta didik melalui edukasi pemilahan sampah di sekolah wilayah Kelurahan Paropo. Program ini dilaksanakan sebagai bagian dari Kuliah Kerja Nyata Universitas Bosowa Angkatan 59 dengan pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif yang menempatkan siswa sebagai subjek aktif dalam proses edukasi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi interaktif mengenai jenis dan dampak sampah, pengenalan prinsip reduce, reuse, recycle (3R), praktik langsung pemilahan sampah, serta pengenalan konsep bank sampah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan refleksi selama kegiatan berlangsung, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap jenis-jenis sampah, pentingnya pemilahan sampah sejak dini, serta kesadaran awal mengenai tanggung jawab individu terhadap lingkungan. Pendekatan partisipatif terbukti mendorong keterlibatan aktif dan mempermudah internalisasi nilai-nilai peduli lingkungan. Program ini juga memperluas cara pandang siswa terhadap sampah, dari sekadar limbah menjadi sumber daya yang berpotensi memiliki nilai guna dan ekonomi. Secara keseluruhan, Makassar Goes to School berkontribusi positif dalam penguatan literasi lingkungan berbasis sekolah dan menunjukkan potensi untuk direplikasi sebagai model pengabdian masyarakat yang kontekstual dan berkelanjutan dalam mendukung upaya pengelolaan sampah perkotaan.

Abstract

Urbanisasi yang terus meningkat disebabkan oleh ketimpangan pembangunan antara desa dan kota, di mana masyarakat desa cenderung berpindah ke kota untuk mencari peluang ekonomi yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemanfaatan teknologi pertanian dan perkebunan sebagai solusi dalam menekan laju urbanisasi melalui peningkatan produktivitas dan kesejahteraan petani di pedesaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-analitis dengan pendekatan tinjauan pustaka (library research), yang bersumber dari berbagai literatur akademik, jurnal ilmiah, dan publikasi relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi modern seperti Internet of Things (IoT), sistem pertanian cerdas, drone pertanian, bioteknologi, dan mekanisasi mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, hasil panen, serta kualitas produk pertanian dan perkebunan. Selain itu, pemanfaatan teknologi pemetaan lahan dan sistem irigasi presisi membantu optimalisasi sumber daya alam serta mendukung pertanian berkelanjutan. Namun, tantangan utama dalam penerapan teknologi meliputi keterbatasan biaya, infrastruktu pemerintah, peran swasta, akademisi, serta pembentukan koperasi petani untuk memperluas akses terhadap teknologi. Dengan sinergi tersebut, transformasi digital di sektor pertanian dan perkebunan dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk membangun desa mandiri dan mengurangi arus urbanisasi.r, dan sumber daya manusia. Abstract

The pottery industry, as part of the craft subsector within the creative economy, plays an important role in strengthening MSMEs and local economic development, yet it continues to face significant competitiveness challenges. These challenges are not only related to technological limitations and market access, but also to weak financial management practices that remain fragmented and short-term oriented. This review article aims to systematically examine the role of integrated financial models in enhancing the competitiveness of the pottery industry. Using a literature review approach, this study synthesizes prior research on MSME financial management, cost efficiency, cash flow, investment planning, and business performance. The findings indicate that integrating financing, cost control, cash flow management, and investment planning contributes positively to operational efficiency, product quality, market access, and business sustainability. This article contributes theoretically by positioning finance as a strategic system rather than a purely administrative function in strengthening pottery industry competitiveness. Practical and policy implications highlight the importance of financial literacy, inclusive financing support, and financial digitalization to facilitate the effective and sustainable implementation of integrated financial models.

Abstract

After the 7.4-magnitude earthquake, tsunami, and liquefaction disaster in September 2018, the Balaroa sub-district of Palu City was severely affected by liquefaction, which covered approximately 50 hectares with a perimeter of about 2.5 kilometres. This area was predominantly residential. Historically, residents of West Gunung Marawola avoided passing through this area when travelling to the Manonda Inpres Market, as the wheels of their carts would often become stuck. Consequently, the site was named Tagari Lonjo (a waterlogged and muddy area). This served as a form of natural mitigation, indicating that the site was unsuitable for habitation. This paper aims to establish a correlation between the initial conditions and the management of potential risks following the disaster. The research employs qualitative methods and utilises the Sendai Framework (as a conceptual foundation) and SWOT analysis (as a strategy formulation tool). The proposed design concept involves planning and utilisation of the former Balaroa liquefaction site, focusing not only on physical and ecological recovery but also on socio-economic revitalisation and strengthening resilience to future disasters. Based on the analysis, the geotechnical conditions of the former liquefaction site in Balaroa Village are recommended to be utilised as Ruang Natebuka Kodara (green open space) within land-use planning, with agrotourism potential that can foster economic self-reliance and help alleviate communal trauma. It is hoped that this paper will contribute particularly to education on mitigation and resilience, supporting regional sustainability through innovative post-disaster recovery strategies.

Abstract

Industri daur ulang plastik menghadapi berbagai tantangan yang berkaitan dengan risiko operasional dan risiko ekonomi yang saling memengaruhi keberlanjutan industri. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sinergi antara teknik produksi dan analisis ekonomi dalam mitigasi risiko pada industri daur ulang plastik melalui pendekatan meta-sintesis penelitian empiris. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dan meta-sintesis terhadap berbagai literatur ilmiah, laporan internasional, dan penelitian empiris yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa risiko operasional, seperti ketidakstabilan pasokan bahan baku, keterbatasan teknologi, dan inefisiensi proses, memiliki hubungan erat dengan risiko ekonomi berupa fluktuasi harga, tingginya biaya produksi, dan ketidakpastian permintaan pasar. Studi ini juga menemukan bahwa sebagian besar penelitian sebelumnya masih membahas aspek teknik dan ekonomi secara terpisah. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini menawarkan pendekatan integratif yang menghubungkan efisiensi teknik produksi dengan analisis ekonomi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas mitigasi risiko. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa sinergi lintas disiplin menjadi faktor penting dalam mendukung keberlanjutan dan daya saing industri daur ulang plastik.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to systematically review the role of Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) in personalized marketing by examining AI algorithms, interpretability techniques, and their implications for consumer trust. Research Method: A systematic literature review was conducted by analyzing peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers related to AI, XAI, and personalized marketing. The study synthesizes findings across technical and behavioral dimensions to provide an integrated understanding of the research domain. Results and Discussion: The results indicate that machine learning, deep learning, and recommender systems are the primary algorithms used in personalized marketing. However, increasing model complexity reduces interpretability, creating a need for XAI techniques such as LIME, SHAP, and attention mechanisms. The findings further reveal that XAI enhances consumer trust by improving transparency, understandability, and fairness, although contextual factors, including privacy concerns and user characteristics, influence this relationship. Implications: This study contributes theoretically by integrating technical and behavioral perspectives into a unified framework. In practice, it provides managers with guidance on designing transparent and trustworthy AI systems and highlights the need for ethical, user-centered AI implementation. Originality: This study is original in integrating technical perspectives on XAI with behavioral perspectives on consumer trust in personalized marketing. It offers a unified framework explaining how explainability supports transparency, fairness, and trust in AI-driven marketing.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to systematically analyze the roles of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and HR Analytics in enhancing strategic human resource decision-making, focusing on their integration, impact, and implementation challenges. Research Method: This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to analyze peer-reviewed journal articles on AI, HR Analytics, and strategic HR decision-making. Relevant studies were identified, screened, and synthesized to ensure a structured and comprehensive evaluation. Results and Discussion: The findings indicate that AI and HR Analytics significantly enhance decision quality, speed, and predictive accuracy, enabling a shift from reactive to proactive decision-making. HR Analytics plays a mediating role in transforming workforce data into actionable insights. However, the impact varies depending on organizational readiness, data quality, and analytical capability. Key challenges include data integration, skill gaps, and ethical concerns such as algorithmic bias and transparency. Implications: This study provides theoretical contributions by offering an integrated framework linking AI, HR Analytics, and strategic decision-making. Practically, organizations should strengthen data governance, analytical capabilities, and leadership support to maximize the benefits of AI-driven HR systems. Originality: This study offers originality by integrating AI and HR Analytics into a unified framework that explains how both technologies support strategic human resource decision-making while addressing organizational and ethical implementation challenges.
