Abstract

Dalam beberapa dekade terakhir, pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah telah mengalami perubahan menuju pendekatan berbasis genre, yang menekankan pemahaman dan penguasaan berbagai jenis teks sebagai sarana untuk mencapai kompetensi komunikatif. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi respons siswa terhadap penerapan pendekatan genre dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMPN 9 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan jumlah sampel 38 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa merasakan manfaat positif dari pendekatan ini, merasa efektif dalam memahami materi dan meningkatkan kemampuan mereka. Selain itu, pendekatan genre juga memengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa, dengan sebagian besar merasa termotivasi untuk belajar Bahasa Indonesia. Selain keterlibatan siswa, pemahaman materi juga terbukti meningkat, sebagaimana tercermin dari analisis data. Meskipun pendekatan genre memberikan dampak positif, masih ada tantangan yang dihadapi siswa, dengan beberapa mengalami kesulitan dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, penggunaan sumber daya tambahan dan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran membantu mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Sebagai Kesimpulan, pendekatan berbasis genre di SMPN 9 Semarang memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, melalui peningkatan keterlibatan, motivasi, pemahaman materi, serta partisipasi siswa

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum aims to give freedom to educational institutions and teachers in designing learning that suits the needs and characteristics of students. In addition, this curriculum also directs the development of student character and skills, not just centered on achieving test scores. So the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology issued a decree to implement the independent curriculum which is listed in the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia number 262 / M / 2022. Based on the implementation of the independent curriculum that has been running from 2022, there has not been much discussion about the suitability of the PSAJ in terms of the distribution of the cognitive domain. The research to be carried out uses a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research will be carried out by determining the object of research on purpose, so the technique used is Purposive Sampling. The suitability of PSAJ to the distribution of cognitive domains when viewed from the percentage of each school, S01 has a distribution of Low Order Thinking Skills (LOTS), the percentage in S02 shows the assessment of PSAJ which has a level of High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), while in S03, represents the level of test items Middle Thinking Skills (MOTS) and High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The knowledge dimension that is often presented is the conceptual dimension, which indicates that the questions attempt to improve learners' conceptual understanding. The thing that needs to be considered in making questions is of course not to be separated from the AKM and the need for the suitability of the level of thinking according to the ability of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media manipulatif berbentuk rumah adat Honai Papua sebagai media pembelajaran IPA pada jenjang sekolah dasar. Media ini dirancang untuk mendukung pembelajaran berbasis konstruktivisme dan kontekstual, serta mendorong pemahaman konsep lingkungan, adaptasi makhluk hidup, dan pemanfaatan sumber daya alam secara bertanggung jawab. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 25 siswa kelas V SD Agape Terpadu di Kabupaten Nabire. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, serta angket validasi ahli dan respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media manipulatif Honai memiliki validitas tinggi (skor rata-rata 89%) dan sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA. Penggunaan media juga meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, rasa ingin tahu, serta kemampuan memahami konsep IPA secara kontekstual. Kesimpulan utama menunjukkan bahwa media manipulatif Honai Papua efektif digunakan sebagai alternatif media konkret dalam pembelajaran IPA sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Formative assessment plays a crucial role in supporting the learning process, particularly in developing higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). However, the creation of multiple-choice items used in schools is still dominated by lower cognitive levels and does not yet fully support deep learning-based instruction. This situation indicates a gap between curriculum requirements and assessment practices in the field. This study aims to analyze the pedagogical quality of multiple-choice items in supporting formative assessment and to reconstruct the items so that they align with HOTS requirements and deep learning-based instruction. This study employs a qualitative approach of a descriptive nature using document analysis techniques. The research data consists of 10 multiple-choice items found in the Indonesian language teaching module on popular scientific articles at SMP Negeri 10 Semarang for the 2025/2026 academic year. The analysis was conducted based on several aspects, namely the cognitive levels of Bloom’s revised taxonomy, the function of formative assessment, the quality of item construction, and alignment with deep learning principles. The conclusion of this study indicates that multiple-choice items can be developed into more meaningful formative assessment instruments if designed based on HOTS and deep learning, thereby fostering deep understanding and developing students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The learning of news writing has not yet been implemented optimally, resulting in low academic scores for seventh-grade students. This condition is evident from the students' difficulties in independently developing ideas and in the writing process that adheres to the rules of news writing. The application of innovative learning models can encourage the effectiveness of learning to achieve optimal results. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of news writing instruction using the 5E Learning Cycle and Think Talk Write models, supported by the use of video-based audiovisual media, among seventh-grade students at MTs Negeri 1 Pati. This research employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. Quantitative data was collected from the pre-test and post-test scores of news writing skills. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and a T-test. The results of the paired sample t-test for the experimental class and the control class obtained a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning there is a difference in learning outcomes. The results of the independent sample t-test obtained a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.780 > table sig. 0.05, so there is no difference in news writing skills between the two groups. These findings indicate that the 5E Learning Cycle and Think Talk Write models, aided by audiovisual media, are effective in optimizing news writing learning because they result in significant differences in learning outcomes. However, the comparison test results of the two learning models show that there is no difference. This confirms that both models are equally effective when applied to teaching news writing. ABSTRAKPembelajaran menulis teks berita masih belum terlaksana secara optimal sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya nilai akademik peserta didik kelas VII. Kondisi tersebut terlihat dari kesulitan peserta didik dalam mengembangkan gagasan secara mandiri serta dalam proses penulisan yang sesuai dengan kaidah penulisan teks berita. Penerapan model pembelajaran yang inovatif mampu mendorong keefektifan pembelajaran agar dapat mencapai hasil yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji keefektifan pembelajaran menulis teks berita dengan penerapan model 5E Learning Cycle dan Think Talk Write yang didukung pemanfaatan media audiovisual berbasis video pada peserta didik kelas VII MTs Negeri 1 Pati. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimental bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Data kuantitatif dikumpulkan dari nilai pretes dan postes keterampilan menulis teks berita. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif serta uji T. Hasil pengujian paired sample t-test kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, artinya terdapat perbedaan terhadap hasil belajar. Hasil uji independent sample t-test diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,780 > sig. tabel 0,05, maka tidak terdapat perbedaan keterampilan menulis teks berita pada kedua kelompok. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa model 5E Learning Cycle dan Think Talk Write berbantuan media audiovisual efektif dalam mengoptimalkan pembelajaran menulis teks berita karena memberikan perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan. Namun, hasil uji perbandingan kedua model pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan. Hal ini menegaskan bahwa kedua model sama-sama efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks berita.
