Abstract

This research was conductedin the District of Natal Beach Natal Mandailing Natal regency of North Sumatra Provincein June 2013. Methods used to determine the respondents in this study is the census 30 people and proportional sampling of 27% of the total population.Tourism activities in Coastal Christmas brings a positive influence directly or indirectly to the family income of fishermen. The positive influence of perceived family fishermen are job opportunities for fishermen and fishing families. The amount of labor which is the owner or the owner's family members as much as 76 people or as many as 78.35% and the remaining 21 people, or 21.65% of the workers from the out side or not a family member.Keywords: Employment, Contribution Of Marine Tourism Subsector , Kecamatan Natal

Abstract

This study was conducted on 7 to 21 March. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the role of Ocean Fishing Harbor Bungus in the activities of fisheries in West Sumatra. The role refers to the terms of fleet size, fishing gear, production and the number of fishermen. The method was used is the survey method. The determination of the respondent in this are fishermen employees of PPS Bungus, in the harbor. The PPS Bungus which has a using Purposive Sampling. Descriptive analysis is done based on interviews with respondents and observations in cross check directly in the field. The results of this analysis, the number of fleets that fish landed as much as 4.32% (23 units) of 533 units. Fishing gear is used by 4.32% (23 units) of 533 fishing gear in PPS Bungus. The fish production average of 98.71 tons compared to the total production of 2321.88 tons per year. the majority of tuna, tuna and skipjack which were landed. The arresting and fishermen who sell fish in PPS Bungus were 3.17% (125 peoples) from of the total fishing activity in the harbor was 3939 people. PPS Bungus provide a small facility because the number of facility r is still in a small units and facilities are limited to function it, in addition the ocean harbor of fishing Bungus lack of security a causing the lack of users.Keywords: Role, Facilities, Activity Is Of Fisheries, Ocean Fishing Harbor Bungus

Abstract

The Research on the analysis of Hand Line was conducted in April until May 2014 in Bungus Oceanic Fishing Port Padang, West Sumatra. The aims of this study were to analyze the financial capital, feasibility and business prospects using Hand Line. The method used to this study is a survey respondents were selected through purposive sampling of Hand Line fish catcher to size fleet of 30 GT and 50 GT because sizes of the ship is more recorded in the statistics.The results of this study indicate that venture capital of Hand Line stalling for 30 GT vessels was Rp 954.980.000 and for 50 GT vessels was Rp 1.404.960.000. Investment criteria of Hand Line stalling for 30 GT vessel show value of NPV was Rp 850.279.096 - BCR was 1.22. IRR was 38.51 % and the PP was 1.82, while 50 GT vessel show NPV about Rp 841.789.240 - BCR of 1.17 - IRR of 35.59 % and the PP of 1.10. Business prospects of 30 GT vessels is better than 50 GT vessels. This shows that Hand Line stalling for 30 GT vessels is worth extended than 50 GT vessels seen from the index investment criteria.Keywords : Hand line, feasibility, investment, PPS Bungus.

Abstract

This research was conducted on March 25, 2016 until 11 April 2016 which is placed in Gandoriah Beach, Kelurahan Pasir, Central Pariaman District, Pariaman City West Sumatra Province. This study aims to identify economic activities and socio-cultural as the impact of the presence of marine tourism and determine the impact of tourism activities on the beach Gandoriah to the economy of coastal communities. The method used in this research is survey method. There are 64 respondents, that consist of 41 visitors, 18 businesses and 5 fisherman.Based on the research results obtained that economic activities undertaken in the Gandoriah Beach marine tourism region are: Restaurants, Cafes, Traders of food and beverages, ship or service provider, Souvenirs, Guard toilet and Parking attendant. Socio-cultural activities that arise due to the presence of the Gandoriah Beach marine tourism are: Beach Party, Weekly Art Display, New Year Night Party and Hoyak Tabuik Party. So that obtained Ratio Income Multiplier value by Type I is 1.37 that means the Gandoriah Beach marine tourism give the more considerable economic impact of the tourism activities.Keywords: Multiplier effects, Gandoriah Beach Marine Tourism, Coastal Communities

Abstract

This study was conducted on April 2016 in Mompang Julu Village Penyabungan Utara Subdistrict, Mandailing Natal Regency. The puspose of this study was to know investment cost, gross income, nett income, feasibility and prospect of enlargement cultivation of carp in pond on the future. This study used a survey method. The population in this study is the fish farmers. The respondent determined by census. Based on the result of this study concluded that the, financial analysis and the feasibility is Rp. 48.167.100 investment cost, Rp. 55.843.200 gross income, Rp. 17.154.000 nett income, 1,39 BCR and 39,68 FRR. Abstract

This research was conducted on November 2015 in Kotalama village districts Kunto Darussalam Rokan Hulu Riau Province. The choice of location research done purposively or intentionally, with the consideration that there are areas of the river has become legally sand mining carried out by local people. The survey methode was used by case study in which by direct observation in the field, data collection was done by direct interviews with respondents based on the questionnaire that has been provided. Results of the research by the sand mining reduced the number of fishermen from ± 30 fishermen was reduced to 15 fishermen. The average income of the fishermen from the fishing in the river before and after at Rokan River sand mining activities before sand mining premises that the average ± Rp 2.733.000 and after sand mining decreased fishing revenue is ± Rp 1.446.000 this is due to lack of population polluted fish and the waters of the Rokan River. Sand mining activities have a positive impact and negative impact is felt by the local community to the social and environmental. Positive impact on the social is opening up jobs for the community, insufficient sand for the needs of the Development area as well as individuals and can develop creative power of the community, while the negative impact of his on the environment is the destruction of roads because frequently traveled by trucks of sand and the health impacts of society disrupted by of smoke and dust of the sand transport vehicle, the noise around river sand mining activities, pollution of waters in rivers such stem Rokan, and abrasion around the edge of the river..Keyword :Sand Mining,Income of Fishermen

Abstract

This study was conducted in january – february 2017 which located in Nagari Mungo Luak subsdistrict Lima Puluh Kota district West Sumatera province. This study aims to to analyze loan-use Gourami breeders (Osphronemus gouramy) based on kinship systems and sharing results system loan-use gourami breeders at seeding fish business the community Nagari Mungo. Methods used in this research is a method survey with the number of respondents from 15 people, where the determination of respondents were with purposive sampling. Loan-use system breeders fish were 2 categories lending breeders based on kinship an ancestor or because between one residence and lending based on kinship according to offspring or kinship ties. Loan-use category 1 the size of the ratio of the agreed by 50:50 it means share of the profits balanced that is 50 if the management and 50 for the owners , while system and loan use category 2 the size of the ratio of the in agreed of 60:40 it means management could get a share more namely 60 and the owner of is only 40 a share of the profits income .Keywords: loan-use system, sharing results, seeding, gourami

Abstract

This study was conducted on March 10th until March 20th, 2013. This study aims to determine the public perception about the use of the Siak River fishermen. The method used in this study is a survey method and determination of the respondents in this study is "Simple Random Sampling" by 24 respondents.The results of this research is the public perception of the use value of the Siak River and at the same level of perception, seen from the value of the public perception of the use of the Siak River 18 respondents (75%) stated that the Siak River is not safe to be used for the needs of fishing communities, at the same level of perception is in the category of less secure in the range of 1040-1455 which means the Siak River water can only be used for Industry, Fisheries, Transportation, Agriculture and Settlement.Keyword: the perception of the fishing community, the use of the Siak River

Abstract

This research was conducted from April 29th until May 6th 2013 in theDistrict of North Padangsidimpuan Padangsidimpuan City of North SumatraProvince. The purpose of the research was to describe and analyze thecharacteristics of consumer demand for fresh fish as well as determine how themagnitude of the factors that influence household consumer demand for fresh fishin the North Padangsidimpuan District.Basically the level of consumer demand for a product is determined byseveral factors. On fresh fish products, the factors that affect the price of freshfish such as itself, the price of substitutes (chicken meat), income, dependents, andconsumer taste. The results showed that the dominant gender consumers arewomen with ages ranging from 41-50 years, the majority of formal education ishigh school, and her work as a housewife. Based grouping of income, the majorityof consumers belonged to the upper middle class. Consumer demand for fresh fishis influenced by economic and non-economic factors. The most influential factoris the price of chicken meat was 2.068 (highly significant), whereas the otherfactors do not affect the demand significant fresh sea fish.Keywords : Demand Analysis, household consumers, Fresh sea fish

Abstract

This research was conducted on 1 to 7Octobert 2013 in the Seberang Taluk Hilir Village, Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. This research purposed to investigate the characteristics of fish farmers, knew socio-economic conditions in the case of ownership of assets, knew the attitude of fish farmers. This research used survey method. Respondents in this research was fish farmers who use mini pellet mill of 15 people. The data collected was primary data and secondary data .From the social economy there are a lot of changes , such as changes in education,employment, income and asset ownership change. Results of farmers attitudes analysis of pricing was mostly good, namely 100,00%. Farmers attitude towards social assistance also showed a good attitude at 46,67%. Farmers attitude towardsawareness processing of the mill in protecting the environment showed a less favorable attitude at 53,30%.Key words : Attitude, Pellet mill, Aquaculture
