Abstract

This study was conducted on September 2013 in Sungai Alah Village, Hulu Kuantan Sub District, Kuantan Singingi District, Riau province. This study aimed to : To determine the impact of illegal mining operation to number of fishermen, determine illegal mining’s impact to fishermen’s socio economic , determine impact of illegal mining on the type of fish before and after the operation of the illegal miners.This study used survey data collection techniques by used questionnaires to selected respondents where respondents numbered 16 , 6 and 10 was fishermen fishing remains sideline . PETI impact on number of fishermen , fishing gear and fish species was decline , fishermen’s socio economic impact was. Provided social assistance to rural communities and also cause disease . Economic impact : reduced revenue in fisheries, was :Rp. 10.200.000 to Rp. 4.300.000. While the non- fisheries sector was : Rp. 23.000.000 to Rp. 42.000.000.Key words : PETI, Fisherment’s, Social and Economy, Sungai Alah Village.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted in April 2017 on the Kelurahan Purnam of Dumai Barat subdistrict Dumai City in Riau Province. Its was aimed to identify the types of work done by fishermen households in Kelurahan Purnama, to determine the income of fishermen households obtained from fishing and alternative business in supporting the household income of fishermen, To know the contribution of alternative business to household income of fishermen, To analyze the influence of socio-economic characteristics of fishermen in Kelurahan Purnama to alternative income household fishermen. The method used by survey methods, of direct observation of the object in the field and data collection through interviews with fishermen.Based on the research results can be found that alternative of fisherman households in Kelurahan Purnama consists of non-fish traders to open daily stalls), become harbor laborers and plantation workers, gardeners, traveling traders, mobile phone keepers, buildings, and honorariums, from the result of fishing effort that is 1,570,000 - Rp 2,460,000 / month and the income of alternative business is Rp 775.000 - Rp 2.175.000 / month, the characteristic that influence fishermen economic condition on alternative business that is age, education, work experience, the number of dependents, and the bulk of working hours, while the contribution of income received from fishing business is 58.05%, while the contribution of income from alternative business is 41.88%. Keywords: Contribution, Alternative Business, Household Income, Kelurahan Purnama

Abstract

This study was conducted on January 25 to Ferbruay 10, 2016. This study aims to determine the total investment, the feasibility of aspects and problems faced by farmes in the enlarged business goldfish (Cyprinus carpio) in floating net cages in Nagari Sarasah Tanggo. The method used in this study is a survey with 9 respondents. Result of research show the total capital invested by farmers goldfish in floating cages an average Rp 81.695.733. The Benefits get an average Rp 24.975.044. With BCR value of 1,46 , FRR value 30,79%. PPC value of 3 period. The increasing of fish consumption every year fastly increase equal to 9,41%/year, so that there are opportunity of is effort to increase produce conducting Fishery. Water of Lake of Sarasah Tanggo up to standrt for the magnification of goldfish. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research was conducted on 2nd to 18th October 2014 in Teluk Pambang Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this research was to (1) Know the system and procedure of Energy and Food Security Credit (KKP-E), (2) to analyze the effect of Energy and Food Security Credit (KKP-E) for fisherman’s income in Teluk Pambang Village, (3) to analyze the difference of fisherman’s income in Teluk Pambang Village before and after receiving Energy and Food Security Credit (KKP-E). The method used in this study was a survey method with descriptive data analysis, multiple linear regression analysis and Wilcoxon analysis using SPSS Statistics 17,0.The results showed that systems and procedure Energy and Food Security Credit (KKP-E) consists of the business sector financed, the terms and documents according to the Bank, credit limit, assurance, process analysis and credit approval, monitoring and reporting. Based on multiple linear regression analysis, Energy and Food Security Credit (KKP-E) capital was not positive and significant impact on the income of fishermen. Based on Wilcoxon analysis, fisherman’s income difference significantly before and after receiving Food Security and Energy Credit (KKP-E).Keywords: Energy and Food Securiy Credit (KKP-E), Fisherman’s Income, Teluk Pambang Village

Abstract

Research on Added value of smoke catfish ( Pangasius sutchi ) ( Cases Catfish Processing in Koto Masjid Village XIII Koto Kampar District Riau Province) should be conducted in march 2016 in Koto Masjid village the kabupaten kampar Riau Province. This study attempts to ( 1 ) to know much value added economical catfish after processed into catfish smoke , ( 2 ) know the production and marketing catfish smoke. Methods used is the method case study such respondents in purposive sampling as many as 3 people who have a role as processing catfish smoke. Based on the results of research ( 1 ) added value of smoke catfish is Rp.3.265,6 per kilogram fresh catfish by a ratio of added value of Rp. 18,1422 .The advantage gained catfish processing smoke is Rp. 2.465,6 per Kilogram with operating margin Rp. 3.700 per Kilogram catfish fresh ( 2 ) in once used of fish production catfish fresh with 1.000 Kg , produce 300 kg of smoke catfish .Of processing of smoke catfish is still in traditional. Smoke Catfish produce tea processing factory in the village Koto Masjid was marketed in pekanbaru 20 %, to palembang as many as 5 % , to malaysia as many as 5 %, to the market Air Tiris 15 % , market kuok 15 % , Bangkinang market as many as 12 % , Kampar market as much as 13 % and in taratak Buluh 15 % . Abstract

Study was conducted in February 2016 at Terapung market tembilahan district Indragiri Hilir Province Riau. This study aims to analyzed levels of income of traders retailers and influence capital, the quantity of fish sold and experience on the income of traders retailer fresh sea fish in Terapung market Tembilahan. Methods used in research was survey by the number of respondents about 13 people. The income traders retailer fresh sea fish in Terapung market town Tembilahan high at between Rp 59.970.000, - Rp 88.650.000, - per month for gross income and Rp 1.717.500, - Rp 5.377.500, - per month for net income. The proportion of capital variable influence, the quantity of fish and business experience simultaneously against revenue traders retailer of marine fishes of floating market by 96,9 %. Capital significant exert against revenue traders retailer worth the of 1,460 regression. While, the quantity of fish and business experience not to revenue significant traders retailer worth the regression of 0,478 and 0,026.Keywords: income, traders retailer, Terapung market, Tembilahan

Abstract

The research was conducted on 25th May - 8th June, 2013 in Korong Duku Pilubang Nagari Padang, Sungai Limau District, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatera Province. This study used qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Informants were selected by purposive sampling technique. Key informant was community leaders while supporters informants was public community, intelectual people and goverment who have known information in this research. Fishing ban tradition (malapeh niek ban fish) in Korong Duku Pilubang was motivated by economic Nagari society and fishieris resources condition was poor is felt more and more alarming. Development of local wisdom purposed to rehabilitate fishieris resources condition with kept type and amount of fish. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted in June 2018. This study aims to identify the types of fisheries and non-fisheries business work carried out by fishermen household members, analyzing the contribution of fisheries and non-fisheries business income to fishermen households. The method carried out in this study is a survey method, namely by conducting observations and direct reviews and collecting samples taken 10% of the total population with simple sampling random sampling. The results of this study indicate that the types of activities carried out by members of fishing households in fisheries and non-fisheries businesses.      The types of fisheries and non-fisheries business carried out by fisherman household members in Bagan Deli Village, Medan Belawan Sub-District, Medan City, North Sumatra Province are in fisheries businesses, such as factories, maintaining ships, selling fish, drying salted fish, repairing nets, boat men , while the work carried out by fishermen from non-fisheries businesses is like Building Workers, Coffee Shops, Ojek, Security Guards, Trading, Keep Cellphones, Maintain Shops, Take Care of Pharmacies, Car Drivers, Sell Gasoline, Public Transportation Drivers, Building Workers and Elementary Workers. The average income of a fishery business is IDR. 2,785,400 with contributions as much as (56%), and the average income from non-fishery businesses is IDR. 2,221,667  with a contribution of (44%).Keywords: Contributions, non-fisheries, income of fishermen house holds

Abstract

This research was conducted on 8th until 16th May 2013. The method used in this study is the case study method to 2 farmers who each seek 10 units and 15 units floating net cages (FNC). This study aims to determine the cost and feasibility of investment business in the FNC enlargement common carp in Tanjung Alai village.The results of this study indicate if FNC businesses in Tanjung Alai village worth the investment cost of Rp. 361.781.000 to 10 units cages and Rp.514.485.000 to 15 units cages. The investment criteria such as NPV obtained for Rp.996.602.000 to 10 units cages and Rp.1.630.990.000 to 15 units cages, for ten years. Then, BCR of 1,23 to 10 units cages and 1,26 to 15 units cages. As well, IRR value of more than 40%.The overall investment value of the business to meet the eligibility criteria were developed.Keywords: floating net cages (FNC), investment, NPV, BCR, IRR

Abstract

To determine the impact of business development assistance programs Pengembangan Usaha Mina Pedesaan (PUMP) aquaculture in Kelurahan Lembah Sari Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir Pekanbaru Riau. We propose the problem of, how the production and in come of fish farmers group members before and after receiving assistance program PUMP Aquaculture. Order to answer the sequestions, this study used asurvey method of obtaining information with personally and directly interviewed various groups or persons.The results showed that with the help of the program PUMP Fishing Culture, the increasing income of fish farmers also have an impact one forts to meet the needs of each member of the group farming house holds are getting better.Keywords: Mina, Aquaculture, fish culture, assistance of PUMP
