Abstract

This study is purposed to examine the impact of hedonic shopping, fashion involvement, store environment and price discounts on impulse buying at the Three Second Lippo Plaza Mall Jember store. This study uses a sample of consumers who shop impulsively at the Three Second Lippo Plaza Mall Jember store, the side method used isnon-probability sampling with respondents as many as 96 consumers. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that hedonic shopping, fashion involvement, store environment and price discounts on impulse buying at the Three Second Lippo Plaza Mall Jember store in a positive direction. The business actors still maintain hedonic shopping, fashion involvement, store environment and price discounts in impulse buying.

Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan sebuah kegiatan yang setiap waktu selalu dilakukan. Tidak hanya bagi individu, namun untuk menjamin keberlangsungan hidup sebuah organisasi sangat diperlukan adanya komunikasi yang baik. Hal ini bertujuan agar segala fungsi-fungsi manajemen dapat dilakukan dengan baik dalam organisasi. Salah satu peran pentingnya komunikasi dalam organisasi adalah pada pengelolahan konflik. Koperasi Dua Putri merupakan badan usaha yang bergerak di bidang simpan pinjam yang kadang kala juga mengalami beberapa konflik yang terjadi baik pada anggota koperasi maupun karyawannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang mengangkat tema peran komunikasi organisasi pada manajemen konflik di Koperasi Dua Putri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa dalam mengelola konflik yang terjadi, pengurus Koperasi Dua Putri menggunakan dua gaya komunikasi, yaitu komunikasi terbuka dan toleransi. Kedua gaya komunikasi tersebut dinilai oleh pengelola Koperasi Dua Putri sangat tepat untuk mengatasi apabila konflik terjadi di organisasi mereka.

Abstract

Serut Village, Jember Regency has great potential to develop local creative economic activities. Pandhalungan culture is a characteristic of local culture in the Jember Regency. MSMEs in Serut Village face a reasonably simple but crucial problem, namely the absence of determining the value proposition of the local creative economic activities, the traditional business model by relying on product distribution to middlemen, tends to produce products that are similar to products on the market. This activity aims to identify and develop a business model that is applied by several MSMEs in Serut Village using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach. This activity was focused on the form of counseling and assistance in the preparation of BMC for 6 (six) MSME actors in Serut Village. The implementation method of this activity consists of several stages, namely the preparation stage, the data collection stage, and the BMC preparation stage. The result of this service activity is that all MSMEs in Serut Village are able to identify and compile BMC mapping for their business. All MSMEs have determined the value proposition of their business.

Abstract

Ecotourism has become a rapidly growing trend in the tourism industry, offering nature-based tourism experiences while also contributing to environmental conservation and empowering local communities. This research aims to identify opportunities and challenges for ecotourism development in Banyuwangi to drive business and economic growth, analyze its economic impacts, and formulate strategies to optimize the benefits of ecotourism sustainably. Through a systematic review of various empirical studies, this research reveals ecotourism opportunities in creating employment, attracting tourists with specific interests, and promoting conservation of local natural and cultural heritage. However, challenges faced include negative environmental impacts, cultural shifts within communities, and inadequate infrastructure. Recommended strategies include the application of sustainable principles, increased community involvement, infrastructure investment, technology utilization, multi-stakeholder partnerships, monitoring and evaluation, optimization model development, as well as increased awareness and education. This research provides valuable insights for stakeholders in optimizing the ecotourism potential in Banyuwangi to drive sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis desa binaan di Desa Sukosari Kidul Kecamatan Sumberwringin Kabupaten Bondowoso pada tahun ketiga ini merupakan lanjutan dari kegiatan sebelumnya yang telah dilaksanakan pada tahun 2022. Pengembangan smart village di desa Sukosari Kidul pada saat ini sudah mulai berkembang, namun setelah melakukan observasi lebih ke dalam dan evaluasi didapati bahwa terdapat kesenjangan antara pembangunan sarana fisik dengan pembangunan human capitalnya hal ini ditunjukan dengan antusiasme warga dan aparat desa menuju ekonomi mandiri dengan terus memperkuat melalui desa wisata, tetapi untuk menuju smart village tidak hanya bisa dilihat dari satu sektor, yang terpenting persiapan dari human capital yang akan menjadi garda terdepan dalam melayani masyarakat di era digitalisasi, menuju smart government berbasis ICT. Berdasarkan mapping permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra dari hasil wawancara dan observasi, masih diperlukan program pengabdian desa binaan dengan sosialisasi dan pendampingan smart government secara bertahap

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the destination's qualities in Desa Coklat Bali as an educational tourist destination in Tabanan Regency, based on the 6A Buhalis concept, which stands f or Attraction, Accessibility, Amenities, Ancillary System, Available Packages, and Activities. Data are gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation as part of a descriptive qualitative research methodology. Interviews were held with the Desa Coklat Bali management. To obtain f indings, data were processed using data reduction. The results show that Desa Coklat Bali has implemented attribute 6A for a tourism destination into practice. Desa Coklat Bali is one the educational tourist sites in Bali, which provides tour packages that cover everything f rom the introduction of knowledge about chocolate f arming (Chocolate Tour) to the method of manufacturing chocolate (Chocolate making). The attraction in Desa Coklat Bali is special since it of fers education on cocoa growing and management together with a variety of other activities and packages, including a Rice Plantation Experience, Chocolate Tour, and Chocolate Making. Abstract

Kesulitan yang dialami guru dalam pembelajaran daring. Guru memerlukan media pembelajaran yang kreatif dan menarik dalam pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini bertujan untuk menciptakan rancang bangun dan mengetahui validitas media kartu UNO berbasis multimedia interaktif untuk kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini dalam mengenal dan berhitung angka. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 5 yang terdiri dari 1 orang ahli isi pembelajaran, 1 orang ahli desain pembelajaran dan ahli media pembelajaran dan 3 orang anak usia dini pada uji perorangan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode kuesioner. Data diolah menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil uji validitas yang dilakukan oleh ahli isi pembelajaran, ahli desain pembelajaran, dan ahli media pembelajaran memperoleh skor 86,45% dengan kualifikasi baik, serta uji coba perorangan memperoleh skor 92,50% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Jadi dapat dinyatakan bahwa media kartu UNO berbasis multimedia interaktif ini layak digunakan pada kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini dalam mengenal dan berhitung angka. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini adalah media kartu UNO ini dapat menjadi solusi atas kesulitan yang dialami guru dalam pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Banyuwangi Regency and formulate strategies to maintain their competitiveness through the sustainable role of the local government. SWOT analysis is used to identify the internal and external factors faced by UMKM (Micro Small Medium Enterprises). The results show that the strategies that can be pursued include developing clusters/centers of leading UMKM (Micro Small Medium Enterprises), increasing product value-added and differentiation, and improving human resource capacity. The role of the local government is key in supporting the implementation of these strategies through providing access to capital, facilitating promotion and marketing, and comprehensive fiscal incentives. The joint efforts of UMKM (Micro Small Medium Enterprises) actors and local government are expected to increase the competitiveness of UMKM (Micro Small Medium Enterprises) and support inclusive and sustainable regional economic growth.

Abstract

Puger Kulon is one of the areas on the coast of Jember City with qualified tourism potential and proven human resource commitment. However, it still needs more capabilities to develop and realize Puger as a Minapolitan Marine Tourism Destination in Jember and East Java. Puger Kulon managers and communities must avoid facing dynamic changes comprehensively and utilize modern digital marketing media to capture marketing opportunities as an attractive tourist destination. Branding efforts to increase tourist attractiveness can be observed from a comprehensive approach. This service activity aims to improve the ability of the Puger Maritime Tourism manager as a tourist destination with a focus on strengthening branding through a participatory rural appraisal approach to the community to be able to compile tour packages, profile videos, and training related to tourism development such as Hospitality and Tour Package Preparation so that Puger becomes a more marketable and attractive destination for tourists.

Abstract

Abstrak Program pengabdian masyarakat desa binaan di Desa Kamal Jember merupakan pelaksanaan tahun ke-2 yang bertujuan untuk menguatkan kelembagaan serta identitas budaya atau cultural branding Desa Kamal menuju desa wisata sejarah dan budaya berbasis sustainable tourism. Metode yang digunakan adalah participatory rural appraisal melalui survei, FGD, dan pelatihan intensif (pelatihan pembuatan konten promosi, fotografi lanjutan, hospitality, dan sustainable tourism, serta penyusunan paket wisata). Tim pengabdian mendampingi dalam proses penguatan kelembagaan bagi BUMDES, Pokdarwis, dan perangkat desa serta pembuatan video profil wisata. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah peningkatan kapasitas dan kompetensi bagi pihak-pihak terkait dalam pengelolaan dan pengembangan wisata Desa Kamal. Cultural branding Desa Kamal menjadi semakin kuat dengan adanya video profil desa yang aktif digunakan sebagai media promosi. Pengelola wisata juga telah memiliki pengetahuan yang baik terkait adopsi dan implementasi sustainable tourism untuk menjaga budaya serta kelestarian alam Desa Kamal. Kata kunci: cultural branding; Desa wisata; sejarah; budaya; sustainable tourism  Abstract The second-year community service program in Kamal Village, Jember, is designed to strengthen the organizational management and the village's cultural branding as a historical and cultural tourism destination by implementing sustainable tourism practices. The approach utilized in this initiative includes participatory rural appraisal techniques, such as surveys, focus group discussions (FGDs), and various intensive training sessions. These sessions cover essential topics, including creating promotional content, advanced photography, hospitality, sustainable tourism, and developing tour packages. The community service team has also focused on fortifying local institutions, specifically BUMDES, Pokdarwis, and village officials while producing tourism profile videos. This program aims to enhance the capacity and proficiency of stakeholders involved in managing and developing tourism in Kamal Village. Consequently, the cultural branding of Kamal Village has become significantly more pronounced. The tourism profile videos serve as active promotional tools for Kamal Village. As a result, individuals responsible for tourism within the village now possess an improved understanding of sustainable tourism practices, thereby contributing to maintaining both the natural and cultural sustainability of Kamal Village. Keywords: cultural branding; tourism  village; history; culture; sustainable tourism
