Abstract

Efforts to save lives at sea are crucial to minimizing the impact of maritime accidents, which are often caused by human error. Maritime safety is a top priority in the shipping industry, and safety training that complies with Basic Safety Training (BST) standards is essential for enhancing the quality of human resources on board. This study aims to explore the role of safety training in improving the quality of human resources on the MV. Golden Competence. The study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method to understand phenomena in their natural context and explore various interpretations from different perspectives. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature review over six months. The findings indicate that safety training significantly enhances the technical skills and knowledge of the ship's crew, improves mental preparedness for emergencies, and ensures compliance with international safety regulations. Additionally, the training reduces the risk of accidents and enhances workplace safety on the ship. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that safety training is a key element in creating a safe and productive work environment in the maritime industry. Investment in safety training not only improves the quality of human resources but also supports safe and efficient ship operations and strengthens the overall ship management system.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically prove the influence of marketing mix seen from product, price, place, promotion on customer loyalty at Bank Syariah Indonesia Medan Branch. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling totaling 150 people. Furthermore, the data collection technique used is a questionnaire. While the data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. The results of this study show that the marketing mix seen from product and place has a significant influence on customer loyalty while price and promotion do not have a significant effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of training and leadership on employee performance at PT. Gyatha Anugerah Persada Medan. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was collected through questionnaires distributed to employees, while secondary data was obtained from documentation studies obtained from various information held by the company and the results of previous research. The data analysis method uses quantitative methods, namely Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Gyatha Anugerah Persada Medan and the sample in this study was the total population of 113 employees. The results showed that training (X1) and leadership (X2) on employee performance, it was concluded that there was a positive and significant effect of training and leadership on employee performance at PT. Gyatha Anugerah. While the ability of Training (X1) and Leadership (X2) together can explain changes in Employee Performance (Y) by 41.5% while the remaining 58.5% is influenced by other factors not discussed in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan (X1), kompetensi (X2), dan kompensasi (X3) terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y) di era revolusi industri 4.0 pada tenaga kependidikan di STMIK Royal Kisaran. Data dikumpulkan dari 53 responden menggunakan observasi, kuesioner, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden adalah laki-laki (66%), dengan rentang usia terbanyak 26-35 tahun (64%). Sebagian besar responden memiliki pengalaman kerja 6-10 tahun (51%) dan latar belakang pendidikan S1 (87%). Analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) menunjukkan bahwa variabel pelatihan, kompetensi, dan kompensasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pelatihan memiliki koefisien jalur sebesar 0,299, kompetensi sebesar 0,327, dan kompensasi sebesar 0,209. Pengaruh ketiga variabel tersebut secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan juga signifikan, dengan F-hitung (14,026) > F-tabel (2,76). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pelatihan, kompetensi, dan kompensasi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan di STMIK Royal Kisaran.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the content marketing strategies employed by the Indonesian Hypnosis Centre (IHC) to enhance revenue from the Fundamental Hypnosis training in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The primary issue under investigation is revenue instability, with a focus on utilizing unpaid content marketing strategies on Instagram as an alternative solution. Through a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews and secondary data analysis, this study reveals that before 2018, IHC relied solely on paid marketing methods such as purchasing provider numbers and distributing brochures. However, since its introduction in 2018, Instagram content marketing has proven effective starting in 2019. A consistent, though modest, increase in participant contributions from Instagram has been observed. Additionally, the research explores the use of editing tools such as CapCut, CorelDRAW, and Filmora, and the benefits of microblogging and Instagram Reels within the content marketing strategy. The findings are expected to provide significant contributions to the development of content marketing strategies for training institutions, particularly in the field of hypnosis, to address the challenge of unstable revenue

Abstract

Villages, with all their natural and human potential, play an important role in increasing national income. Therefore, development must be directed at the sustainable use of resources in rural areas. The New Generation BUMDes is part of the process of utilizing existing resources. This study aims to (1) identify the obstacles faced in managing the New Generation BUMDes and (2) formulate a management strategy for the New Generation BUMDes in Batu Bini Village, Padang Batung District. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with the research subject being the New Generation BUMDes in Batu Bini Village, South Hulu Sungai Regency. The study results show that: (1) there are still several obstacles in BUMDes management, including budget constraints, insufficient capacity of human resources among managers, and a lack of participation from the community and private sector. (2) The management strategy of the New Generation BUMDes is carried out based on applicable regulations, including the process of institutional formation and the provision of facilities and infrastructure, as well as managing BUMDes with the continued use of the Village Government Budget. The study concludes that the management of the New Generation BUMDes in Batu Bini Village has been carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations. However, challenges such as limited budgets, inadequate human resource capacity, and minimal participation from the community and private sector must be addressed to ensure more effective BUMDes management, ultimately achieving the goals of its establishment.

Abstract

The Kaliwungu Kendal Community Health Center provides comprehensive dental services with competent dental professionals. However, the service is still not optimal due to several patient complaints, such as waiting to see the dentist, waiting even after the dentist has arrived, not receiving immediate attention, a limited number of visits, etc. Creating quality services will undoubtedly lead to satisfaction among health service users. This study aims to determine the quality of service toward the satisfaction of BPJS patients at the Kaliwungu Kendal Community Health Center. The method used in this research is a quantitative analytical survey method with a cross-sectional study design. Data was collected with a sample size of 80 BPJS patients selected through sampling. The variables used in this study include the independent variable, service quality (X), and patient satisfaction (Y) as the dependent variable. The statistical analysis used in this study included a chi-square test and logistic regression. The results of the study show that all variables in the quality of dental and oral health service, including physical appearance, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, have a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction at the Dental Polyclinic of the Kaliwungu Kendal Community Health Center, with a p-value < 0.05. The tangible dimension has the most dominant effect, with a significant influence (exp(B)OR 18.259), followed by empathy (exp(B)OR 11.102), reliability (exp(B)OR 7.627), and assurance (exp(B)OR 5.091). However, responsiveness obtained the lowest satisfaction percentage compared to the other dimensions, with a value of (exp (B) OR 4.474).

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) PAB 4 Sampali merupakan sekolah menengah atas yang berada di Kabupaten Deli Serdang Sampali terus berupaya menciptakan lulusan pelajar yang terbaik di Deli Serdang. Bersaing dengan sekolah lain dalam menciptakan lulusan terampil dan berprestasi. Hasil observasi di SMA PAB 4 Sampali pada kelas XI jurusan IPA dan IPS diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar siswa belum maksimal. Hal ini terlihat dari rata-rata nilai rapor Tengah Semester tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 yang masih jauh di bawah rata- rata yang ditetapkan Sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil observasi tidak tercapainya nilai rata-rata siswa pada standar yang ditetapkan diperkirakan pada saat proses pembelajaran siswa masih kurang memiliki rasa percaya diri. Hal ini terlihat dari tidak ada respon siswa untuk bertanya saat diperintahkan oleh guru. Saat pembelajaran, kerja sama antar siswa relative pasif yang berarti belum terbangun dengan baik. Kedisiplinan siswa juga masih kurang terlihat dari kebiasaan siswa datang terlambat ke sekolah dan ke dalam kelas. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kurang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) Pengaruh penggunaan pembelajaran multimedia terhadap hasil belajar, (2) Pengaruh kecerdasan emosional siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa. (3) Pengaruh penggunaan pembelajaran multimedia dan kecerdasan emosional siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA PAB 4 Sampali. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak tiga kelas yaitu 1 kelas jurusan IPA (n=30) dan 2 kelas jurusan IPS (n= 54). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. Variabel pembelajaran multimedia dan kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Variabel pembelajaran multimedia merupakan variabel yang paling berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the extent to which internal organizational factors influence employee performance, with a particular focus on work discipline, motivation, and job satisfaction. The research adopted a quantitative method combined with an associative analytical approach to evaluate the relationships among these variables. The population involved in this study consisted of all civil servants employed at the DPRD Secretariat of Medan City, totaling 51 individuals. Given the manageable size of the population, the study applied a saturated sampling technique, meaning every member of the population was included as a respondent. Data were analyzed using SPSS Version 29. The results indicated that both work discipline and motivation had a statistically significant effect on employee performance, while job satisfaction did not yield a meaningful influence when examined independently. These findings suggest that high levels of discipline and strong motivation contribute positively to enhancing employee performance. Moreover, when examined collectively, work discipline, motivation, and job satisfaction were found to have a significant combined effect, demonstrating that the integration of these factors plays a crucial role in strengthening overall performance among civil servants within the DPRD Secretariat.

Abstract

To know the important role of technology innovation in a company achieving goals to support corporate, economic, social, environment in geothermal business. Technology innovation could enhance resource assessment, resource development, resource utilization management. They could give a competitive advantage sustainable business for the company that operates among communities. The geothermal field sometimes has different types of communities, the company should have a social strategy to make sure the operation will run as well as e xpectation. This research uses qualitative methods by undertaking social mapping, observation, interviews, analysis documents, forum group discussion. Technology innovation in mechanical engineering that is applied by the company can give a competitive advantage accelerate geothermal development. Social strategy is very important for geothermal developers so that communities can have a good impact to avoid issues of economic, social, environmental. Technology innovation in the geothermal business is to choose the right power plant technology that use. By using the binary cycle power plant system, the company can sell the electricity power at a cheaper price because the grace period is shorter than others.
