Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of leadership on employee performance at the Center for the Development of Quality Assurance for Vocational Education in the Field of Building and Electrical Fields, Medan. Analyzing the effect of communication on employee performance at the Center for the Development of Quality Assurance for Vocational Education in the Field of Building and Electricity, Medan. Analyzing the moderating role of the work environment on the influence of leadership on employee performance at the Center for the Development of Quality Assurance for Vocational Education in the Field of Building and Electricity, Medan. Analyzing the moderating role of the work environment on the influence of communication on employee performance at the Center for the Development of Quality Assurance for Vocational Education in the Field of Building and Electricity, Medan. This type of research is associative. The approach used is descriptive quantitative. So based on a population of 150 people, the sample taken is 50 people. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, questionnaires. This data will be analyzed with a quantitative approach using statistical analysis, namely the partial least square - structural inquiry model (PLS-SEM). The results showed that work leadership had a significant positive effect on employee performance. The results showed that Communication has a significant positive effect on employee performance. The results showed that work environment moderates the influence of leadership on employee performance. The results showed that work environment moderates the effect of communication on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of organizational support and compensation on performance through job satisfaction of tugboat crews at PT. Aman Bahari Kuala Tanjung directly or indirectly. The approach used in this research is a causal approach. The population in this study were all tugboat crews at PT. Aman Bahari Kuala Tanjung. The sample in this study using a saturated sample of 57 tugboat crew at PT. Aman Bahari Kuala Tanjung. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation, observation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study uses a quantitative approach using statistical analysis using the Auter Model Analysis test, Inner Model Analysis, and Hypothesis Testing. Data processing in this study uses the PLS (Partial Least Square) software program. The results of this study prove that directly organizational support, compensation and job satisfaction have a significant effect on performance and indirectly organizational support and compensation have a significant effect on performance through crew job satisfaction. tugs at PT. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze Lifestyle and Promotion of Consumer Satisfaction at EDC (Electronic Data Capture) Yokke which is mediated by consumer purchasing decisions directly or indirectly. The population in this study are all customers who use EDC Yokke. The sample in this study uses a sample of the slovin formula totaling 100 customers who use Electronic Data Capture. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation, observation, and questionnaire techniques. The data analysis technique in this study uses a quantitative approach using statistical analysis by using the Outer Model Analysis test, Inner Model Analysis, and Hypothesis Testing. Data processing in this study using the PLS (Partial Least Square) software program. The results of this study prove that directly lifestyle, promotion and purchasing decisions have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction, lifestyle and promotions have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, and indirectly purchasing decisions are able to mediate the influence of lifestyle and promotion on consumer satisfaction At EDC Yokke which means purchase decision acts as an intermediary variable..

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Transformational Leadership and Organizational Culture on Employee Performance Mediated by Organizational Commitment at the Regional Representatives Council Office of North Sumatra Province. This type of research is survey research because it takes samples from one population. This study uses an explanatory research approach, which aims to explain the causal relationship between the research variables and the testing hypothesis. This research is included in the category of causal research using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all employees in the Regional People's Legislative Council Office of North Sumatra Province, consisting of 110 employees. As for determining the number/size of the sample in this study using a saturated sample, all members of the population were used as a sample of 110 employees of the Regional Representatives Council of North Sumatra Province. Data collection techniques used are interviews/interviews and questionnaires/questionnaires. This data will be analyzed using a quantitative approach using statistical analysis, namely the partial least squares – structural inquiry model (PLS-SEM) which aims to carry out path analysis (path) with latent variables. Data analysis techniques in this study used a quantitative approach using statistical analysis using the Outer Model Analysis test, Inner Model Analysis, and Hypothesis Testing. Data processing in this study uses the PLS (Partial Least Square) software program. The results of this study indicate that (1) Transformational leadership directly has a significant effect on employee performance at the Regional People's Representative Council Office of North Sumatra Province. (2) Directly organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance at the Regional People's Representative Council Office of North Sumatra Province. (3) Directly organizational commitment has a significant effect on employee performance at the Regional People's Representative Council Office of North Sumatra Province. (4) Transformational leadership directly has a significant effect on organizational commitment at the Regional People's Representative Council Office of North Sumatra Province. (5) Directly organizational culture has a significant effect on organizational commitment at the Regional People's Representative Council Office of North Sumatra Province. (6) Indirectly organizational commitment can mediate the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance at the Regional People's Representative Council Office of North Sumatra Province. (7) Indirectly organizational commitment can mediate the influence of organizational culture on employee performance at the Regional People's Representative Council Office of North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of communication on employee performance and analyze the effect of training on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) either partially or simultaneously in the Main Unit of Sumatra I Network Development. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, with the associative method. Data were collected through interviews and filling out questionnaires. The population in this study were all employees at PT. PLN (Persero) Sumatran Network Development Main Unit To determine the number of research samples used probability sampling so that the sample taken is only 87 people. The analysis technique used is Product Moment correlation and multiple correlations. The results of this study prove that communication has a significant effect on employee performance, training has a significant effect on employee performance, and communication and training both have a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The data collection technique used is the technique dokumentasi.Penulis using descriptive analysis in analyzing the data. The results showed that the financing disbursed by Bank Syariah Mandiri in an increase in micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) is not optimal. This is because (1) a relatively small share of Islamic banking, (2) lack of qualified human resources, (3) the paradigm of conventional banks is still strong, (4) lack of socialization, and (5) the limited network. Therefore, to optimize the role of Sharia Bank independently in the development of SMEs carried out cooperation in channeling funding to the concept of linkage with LKM / S, RB / S, BMT, KJKS / UJKS and Non Bank Financial Institutions other, enhance capacity building SME customers and partners linkage to be more capable and able to thrive in serving SME customers, in cooperation with the government financing program to get a guarantee facility, liquidity or other assistance. Their partnership with great entrepreneurs in partnership Inti-Plasma, opening outlets Micro with Micro Shop BSM brand, developing a monitoring system based small micro-finance technology to streamline and lower the cost of financing monitoring.

Abstract

Keterlibatan pemerintah dalam perlindungan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja merupakan tindaklanjut dari amanah Undang-Undang Dasar 1945, dalam rangka melindungi segenap bangsa Indonesia serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, termasuk masyarakat tenaga kerja. Sebagai sebuah kebijakan publik yang telah mapan, maka perlindungan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja keberadaannya sudah barang tentu tidak akan lepas dari konsep dan filosafis. Konsep dan filosafis inilah yang ikut menentukan pencapaian tujuan, dan keefektifan pelaksanaan. Sebagai kebijakan publik, sudah barang tentu banyak faktoryang mempengaruhi tingkat keberhasilannya.

Abstract

Produktivitas tenaga kerja merupakan ukuran keberhasilan pegawai yang memiliki sikap mental untuk selalu berusaha meningkatkan mutu kehidupannya. Seorang pegawai dinilai produktif jikalau memiliki sikap mental untuk terus memacu dan mendorong dirinya agar tidak cepat merasa puas, tetapi terus mengembangkan diri dan meningkatkan kemampuan kerja. Karakteristik pegawai sebagai faktor intern dari pegawai sendiri, seperti umur pegawai, pendidikan, masa kerja, dan golongan/pangkat yang dimiliki pegawai, bagaimanapun merupakan faktor awal yang akan menggerakkan pegawai untuk bekerja dan meningkatkan kualitas kerja yang profesional.

Abstract

Perbankan syariah dapat terus bertahan dari terpaan krisis dengan menunjukan kinerja keuangan yang baik. Masuknya perusahaan ini sebagai bank yang sehat dari Bank Indonesia telah menarik minat banyak pihak termasuk bank konvensional di Medan untuk mulai mendirikan atau mengoperasikan bank dengan syariah. Minat tersebut selain karena sistem syariah yang berdasarkan bagi hasil terbukti lebih tahan dari krisis, juga karena masih sangat terbukanya pangsa pasar di industri perbankan syariah tersebut, dimana mayoritas masyarakat di Medan beragama Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan dan menganalisis : Alasan nasabah  memilih bank syariah di Medan sebagai lembaga keuangan dari berbagai alternatif yang ada. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk adalah analisis deskriptif. Analisis deskriptif dilakukan untuk memperoleh kejelasan mengenai ciri-ciri variabel yang diteliti atau untuk menggambarkan perilaku variabel-variabel yang diamati berdasarkan data-data statistik yang diperoleh. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil kuesioner dikelompokkan melalui tahap persiapan, tabulasi dan aplikasi data sesuai dengan pendekatan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor utama yang mempengaruhi alasan nasabah untuk memilih Bank Syariah  ternyata bukan faktor yang berkaitan dengan atribut syari’ah islam (faktor syari’ah), melainkan  faktor pelayanan dan keamanan (keamanan, bagi hasil yang menguntungkan, pelayanan bank yang mudah dan lancar dalam melakukan transaksi, pelayanan yang cepat dari karyawan bank dan pelayanan yang ramah dari karyawan bank), faktor kualitas manajemen syari’ah (dana simpanan digunakan oleh bank untuk bisnis yang halal, nama bank yang terkenal dan terpercaya serta dikelola oleh para pemimpin yang profesional) dan faktor eksternal (suasana bank yang islami, bank mampu mengatasi masalah yang timbul, dorongan lingkungan sekitar (keluarga, teman dan lain-lain) dan promosi yang dilakukan bank syariah).  Selanjutnya faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi nasabah memilih bank syariah ditunjukkan dengan dominannya nasabah memilih atribut keamanan, dana simpanan digunakan oleh bank untuk bisnis yang halal dan suasana bank yang islami. Nasabah menyatakan sangat setuju terhadap masing-masing atribut ini dengan persentase yang berbeda.

Abstract

Situasi lingkiingan bisnis mengalami perubahan yang relatifcepat dan semakin tidak pasti. Bagi suatu perusahaan, situasi tersebut tidak untuk dihindari melainkan untuk diadaptasi oleh pervsahaan menjadi peluang. Didalam situasi dimana persaingan sangat ketat, suatu organisasi bisnis harus mampu menghasilkan produk yang mutunya lebih baik, harganya lebih murah, menyediakan produk ditempat-tempat penjualan. dan promosi gencar lebih baik dibandingkan para pesaingnya. Perusahaan yang menganut konsep pemasaran selalu herorientasi kepada pasar atau konsumen yang lebih menitik beratkan kepada pencapaian laba melalui kepuasan konsumen. Hal ini dilakukan dengan harapan konsumen tersebitt akan melakakan pembelian ulang, sehingga perusahaan akan dapat dengan mudah mengembangkan usahanya pada masa yang akan datang. Ini berarti bahwa konsep pemasaran menganjurkan kepada setiap perusahaan didalam merumuskan strategi pemasarannya harus berdasarkan kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen
