Abstract

Abstrak. Development of Problem-solving skills is needed in physics to master concepts. This goal can be achieved through the implementation of the right steps. The purpose of this research is to describe models, strategies, media, and instruments that can be used to develop problem-solving skills. Learning models that can be applied include PBL, PIL, Inquiry, IBMR, PO2E2W, Discovery Learning, PjBL, Virtual Laboratory, CPSL, and CTL learning models. Learning strategies can be in the form of peer instruction, scaffolding, Polya strategies, Heller, Keith, and Enderson strategies, knowledge planning strategies, Rosengrant strategies, and visualization of the imaginary world. Various supporting media can be in the form of computing media, the development of teaching materials, mobile applications, and games. The instruments used for assessment and questionnaires.

Abstract

Background: Advancement in the healthcare sector, the complexity of health problems and healthcare system become an additional burden for healthcare workers who have incompetence along with professional education of healthcare workers, specifically in radiology education. Virtual reality has great potential in educational learning tool development to encounter various challenges in future radiology education. Objective: To determine the scope of virtual reality and its effectiveness as an educational learning tool in radiology education. Methods: A literature review was carried out to explore articles related with application of virtual reality in radiology education by adjusting various search terms: "virtual reality", and "radiology"/ "radiography" / “x-ray” / “radiology technologist” / “education”. Articles were selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria that have been previously assigned. The timeframe for the literature search was restricted from 2010 to 2022. screening process. Results: Screening process were applied to search across database. Twelve articles were identified related with the application of virtual reality in radiology education. Application of virtual reality had been implemented in several sub-fields of radiology education, consist of three articles from conventional radiography, two articles from general diagnostic radiology, four articles from interventional radiology, two articles from radiological anatomy, and an article from ultrasonography. Conclusion: The application of virtual reality has been used in several sub-fields of radiology education. Almost all studies showed positive responses on application VR in radiology education. The development of virtual reality as radiology educational learning tools were needed further particularly in several sub-fields that have not been implemented.

Abstract

This study used a cross sectional design, which focused on the relationship between critical thinking skills and nutrition and health literacy. The research subjects were 102, first year (37 students) and second year (65 students) Culinary Education students. Critical thinking skills level was obtained by providing multiple choice tests, with score grade of 1-4. Nutrition and health literacy level was obtained by providing questionnaires from Nlit and The Newest Vital Sign. The relationship degree was analyzed by using Pearson correlation. Meanwhile, the difference in year of admission and gender were tested using independent sample t-test. The results showed that there was a correlation of r = 0.304 with p = 0.002 for the critical thinking skills and nutrition and health literacy. The critical thinking skills of first year students (65.7 ± 4.5, very high) was not significantly different (p = 0.735) with second year students (66.0 ± 4.1, very high). Nutrition literacy and health of first year students (45.9 ± 9.8, high) were significantly different (p = 0.045) with second year students (49.2 ± 6.5, high). The critical thinking skills of male students was higher (68.5 ±3.4, very high) and not significantly different from that of female students (65.5 ± 4.3, very high). The nutrition and health literacy of male students (68.5 ± 3.4, very high) was higher and significantly different than female students (65.5 ± 4.3, very high).

Abstract

The development progress of technology digital very necessary era of learning time is. One of the technologies that can help improve the understanding of the participants of learners is augmented reality. This research is intended for designing and developing media learning-based augmented reality in the material hydrocarbon and validity for determining the feasibility of the media is. The research is a kind of research development using Design Research and Development (R&D). The product validity testing phase was carried out by two material experts and three media experts. In addition, it was done testing the response of the participant students. Mechanical analysis of the data using instrument questionnaire as well as technical analysis of statistical descriptive. The results of the research of this are: 1) the results of the development of media learning-based augmented reality in the material hydrocarbon the form of an application android which consists of five menu main that is KD and indicators, material, AR camera, practice questions, and the identity of the researcher, as well as seven cards molecule from the molecular structure of chemical compounds; 2) the results of the validity assessment by material experts with an average score of 85% in the "very valid" category, and the validity assessment by media experts with an average score of 94 % in the "very valid" category; 3) the results of testing the feasibility of using small- scale media with an average score of 81,9% with the "very feasible" category used as learning media.

Abstract

Kemampuan meneliti dan publikasi masih menjadi masalah bagi sebagian besar guru. Mengacu pada permasalahan tersebut, Program Doktor Pendidikan Sains Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Semarang bersama MKKS Wilayah X Banyumas telah menyelenggarakan bimbingan teknis yang bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan melaporkan kegiatan penelitian. (2) meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah hasil penelitian untuk dipublikasikan dalam jurnal ilmiah. Kegiatan dilakukan secara online dalam 4 tahap mulai 10 Juni 2021 hingga 6 November 2021. Sebanyak 110 guru SMA se-Banyumas Raya. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah prinsip learning by doing, dilakukan secara klasikal melalui zoom cloud meeting untuk penyampaian materi secara teori dan pendampingan individu melalui WhatsApp Group dan email. Luaran dari program ini berupa proposal penelitian, dan artikel ilmiah untuk dipublikasikan. Antusiasme peserta dalam menyusun proposal penelitian dan menulis artikel untuk publikasi sangat tinggi dan mereka menginginkan pendampingan yang berkelanjutan untuk sukses melaksanakan penelitian dan mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the chemical content and compare the antibacterial effect of Piper betle L and Piper crocatum R oil against Streptococcus mutan. Betel oil is made at 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% concentration and amoxicillin 0.2% as positive control and propylene glycol as negative control. The research method started with oil isolation using distillation of steam and water then identified the content using GC-MS. Antibacterial activity was tested against Streptococcus mutans by disc diffusion method. The results of this research indicate that Piper betle L and Piper crocatum R oil contains terpenoid group compounds. After being characterized using GC-MS, betel oil contains 5 major active compounds that have antibacterial activity that is Sabinene, Myrsene, Camphene, Germacrene and β - Chariophillene. Piper betle oil has better antibacterial properties than Piper crocatum oil with clear zone reaches 10.5 mm while Piper crocatum oil is 7.1 mm.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul Etnokimia Terintegrasi Nilai Islami Pada Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek Untuk Melatih Kreativitas. Pengembangan modul ini didasari pada fakta bahwa belum banyak modul pembelajaran kimia yang dapat memfasilitasi penerapan kurikulum merdeka sekaligus dapat menguatkan nilai-nilai Islami, terutama untuk sekolah di bawah naungan kementerian agama. Penelitian ini mengambil fokus materi kimia hijau dan struktur atom, dan dikaitkan dengan budaya-budaya di daerah Pati, Jawa Tengah. Selain itu, materi di dalam modul juga dihubungkan dengan nilai-nilai Islami sehingga siswa Madrasah Aliyah (MA) menjadi lebih tertarik untuk mempelajari kimia. Hasil validitas modul oleh ahli media memberikan simpulan sangat valid, artinya modul layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Hasil ujicoba skala kecil juga menunjukan bahwa modul etnikimia terintegrasi nilai Islami pada penelitian ini dapat melatih dan meningkatkan kretivitas siswa dalam belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP) program for STKIP Nahdlatul Ulama Indramayu students which consists of 3 study programs namely elementary school teacher education, Indonesian language and literature education, and physical education, health, and recreation using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process and Product). This qualitative descriptive evaluative research uses data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The results of the study show that 1) The implementation of the PLP program is going well in accordance with the predetermined academic calendar, 2) The PPL organizing organizations carry out their duties according to their respective duties and functions, 3) there are several aspects that need to be improved in implementing the PLP program, 4) vision and goals to produce prospective teachers who have pedagogic, social, personality, and professional competencies have been reflected in the PLP program 5) the results of the PLP practice assessment generally obtained good results.

Abstract

Pendidikan sebagai jenjang lanjutan tanpa ada batasan. Proses pembelajaran tentunya terkait adanya penguasaan konsep. Namun kenyataan yang dialami oleh siswa yaitu kurang minat siswa dalam belajar, menuntut siswa untuk menghafal materi. Tentunya pada penguasaan konsep memberikan solusi memecahkan masalah dalam kehidupan. Hal ini siswa mengambil keputusan dengan tepat, sering kali menjumpai keadaan lapangan yang menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah dalam pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar yaitu guru tidak memberikan dorongan masalah, siswa merasa kurang peduli terhadap menyelesaikan masalah di lingkungannya. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengujikan kefeektifan sebuah produk yang dikembangkan pada penerapan dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan pemecahan masalah terhadap program pembelajaran IPAS di Sekolah Dasar dengan Kerangka Understanding by Design (UbD). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan serta model ADDIE. Berdasarkan penelitian menggunakan validasi ahli materi pelajaran dan proses pembelajaran serta validasi ahli Bahasa. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV SD 17 &1 1 Muhammadiyah 11. Pada teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif dan kuantitatif yaitu wawancara dan angket respon guru dan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan produk yang dikembangkan yang dinyatakan valid oleh ahli materi pembelajaran dan proses pembelajaran dengan rerata penilaian pada tahapan I dan II memperoleh 97,50%, sedangkan ahli Bahasa tahapan I dan II memperoleh rerata 98,00%. Ditinjau berdasarkan hasil angket respon guru dan siswa kelas IV diperoleh. Pada respon guru menguji coba kelompok kecil dan lapangan (besar) diperoleh rerata 94,37%. Sedangkan angket respon siswa dengan rerata 93,14%. Hasil uji keefektifan penerapan program pembelajaran hasil pengembangan diperoleh dan dihitung rerata pretest 40 dan rerata posttest adalah 71,06. Setelah menggunakan uji normalitas gain diperoleh hasil 0.51. Pada penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan program pembelajaran IPAS Sekolah Dasar dengan Kerangka Understanding by Design (UbD) layak untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Multi-representation ability is one of the abilities that must be possessed by students, especially in science subjects to be able to understand the topics, at the chemistry level, multirepresentation abilities are divided into three, they are macroscopic, submicroscopic, and symbolic abilities. This study aims to develop a digital module for the classification of the change topics to improve the multi-representation ability of junior high school students. This research method follows development research (R&D) with the ADDIE model (analysis, define, design, develop, evaluation) with a sample of 100 class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Kedungjati and SMP Negeri 2 Kedungjati in April 2022. The method of data collection by observation, interviews, and documentation, for data collection instruments with a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis techniques include questionnaire validity test, question validity test, questionnaire reliability test, question reliability test, digital module feasibility test, digital module practicality test and digital module effectiveness test. The conclusion of this study was that a digital module of material classification and its changes were developed based on multi-representation for class VII students whose feasibility, practicality and application could increase the classical completeness of the test, the average test scores obtained by students, and increase the multi-representation ability of students.
