Abstract

Tourism villages, such as those in Bangkalan Regency, hold significant potential to boost local economies, but their success depends on effective promotional strategies. This study aims to examine the use of social media marketing as a promotional tool for developing tourism villages, focusing on Tlangoh Beach Tourism Village. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using field observations, in-depth interviews with one manager and four visitors, and documentation of social media content. The findings reveal that the tourism village uses Facebook and Instagram for promotion, but the efforts are suboptimal due to infrequent posts, limited engagement, and reliance on word-of-mouth as the primary information source for visitors. Financial constraints and a lack of skilled personnel further hinder effective marketing. To improve, managers should enhance content quality, increase posting frequency, and establish partnerships with travel agencies or local institutions. This study concludes that social media marketing can significantly enhance tourism village promotion if implemented consistently and strategically. It contributes to understanding how resource-constrained destinations can leverage digital platforms and offers practical insights for managers to increase visitor numbers through targeted, cost-effective strategies.

Abstract

Depo Air Biru has utilized various digital marketing channels effectively to achieve the goal of increasing their brand awareness. Some of the strategies implemented include the use of social media, SEO, content marketing, paid advertising, and collaboration with influencers. Through these strategies, Depo Air Biru succeeded in introducing their brand to a wider audience, increasing interaction with customers, and building a positive brand image. This research contributes to the understanding of effective digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, especially in the context of small to medium businesses such as the Air Biru Depo in Surabaya. Apart from that, the results of this research also show how obstacles in implementing digital marketing can be overcome with careful planning, the use of appropriate technology, and the active involvement of a competent team.

Abstract

                The digital era has changed the leadership paradigm, requiring leaders to integrate entrepreneurial skills with technological mastery. This study aims to analyze effective leadership strategies in the midst of digital transformation through a systematic literature review of recent studies (2015-2024). The findings show that entrepreneurial leadership-with characteristics such as strategic vision, adaptability, and risk-taking ability-is a crucial approach in dealing with technological disruption. Digital leaders not only need to leverage technologies such as AI and big data, but also build an organizational culture that supports innovation and collaboration. This research identifies gaps in the literature, especially in the context of SMEs, and offers practical recommendations in the form of digital competency development, data-driven approaches and controlled experiments. The results provide a holistic framework for leaders to spur digital transformation while maintaining organizational sustainability.
