Abstract

Traditional markets play an important role in the local economy in Indonesia, especially in creating jobs, income distribution, and preserving culture. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to analyze literature related to the role of traditional markets in improving the economy of people in Indonesia. Through the analysis of relevant scientific articles, it was found that traditional markets contribute to the informal sector, creating jobs, reducing economic disparities, strengthening social networks, and preserving local traditions and culture. However, challenges such as competition with modern markets and inadequate infrastructure are the main obstacles to the sustainability of traditional markets. This study recommends that revitalizing traditional markets through modernizing facilities, empowering traders, and implementing digital technology should be a policy priority to support inclusive and sustainable local economic development.

Abstract

UFO Burger Bojonegoro Startup is a fast-food company facing tough competition in the digital era. To stay ahead, it's important to conduct a SWOT analysis, which involves three stages: input (EFE and IFE), matching (SWOT table and Grand Strategy Matrix), and decision-making (QSPM Matrix). The EFE analysis resulted in a total weighted score of 3.46, with an opportunity value of 1.79 and a threat value of 1.67. The IFE analysis resulted in a total weighted score of 3.63, with a strength value of 1.88 and a weakness value of 1.75. The most effective strategy is the SO strategy with a score of 3.67. The Grand Strategy Matrix places the company in quadrant I, indicating intensive integration and diversification strategies. According to the QSPM Matrix, the most suitable strategies for UFO Burger Bojonegoro Startup are Vertical Integration and Conglomerate Diversification.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explain the influence of menu variations, prices, and promotions through Instagram on the purchase decision of bomboloni consumers at Virous Bombolone & Donuts Sidoarjo. The research method used is a quantitative method. This research was conducted on Jalan Pecantingan No. 70, Sekardangan, Sidoarjo. The subjects in this study were consumers who had bought bomboloni at Virous Bombolone & Donuts Sidoarjo with a total of 100 respondents. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and interviews. This study uses a classical assumption test which is then tested using a multiple linear regression test. The results of this study show that simultaneously, there is a significant influence of menu variations, prices, and promotions on the purchase decision of bomboloni consumers at Virous Bombolone & Donuts Sidoarjo. However, partially, there was no significant influence of menu variations on the purchase decision of bomboloni consumers at Virous Bombolone & Donuts Sidoarjo, while for the price and promotion variables of each of these variables, the results were obtained that there was a partial significant influence of price and promotion through Instagram on the purchase decision of bomboloni consumers at Virous Bombolone & Donuts Sidoarjo. So from the results of the research, Virous Bombolone & Donuts Sidoarjo needs to build a better communication relationship with consumers and provide stimulus to consumers to increase bomboloni purchase decisions at Virous Bombolone & Donuts Sidoarjo by providing a good impression or experience for consumers.

Abstract

Tracer study of Surabaya State University has been conducted in each study program in order to fulfill accreditation needs. Instrument development is still carried out independently at the study program and faculty levels so that the disparity of instruments in each faculty is very high. This study will later aim to create an effective alumni tracing model in achieving a response rate. Because in several universities throughout Indonesia, a superior model has not been found and detailed properly. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The population in this study were graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Surabaya who had obtained diplomas throughout 2022. The sample used was a saturated sample considering that this study aims to explore graduate data related to careers. The results showed that the response rate reached 100%, with more than 67.8% of graduates getting jobs in less than six months with an income of at least 1.2 times the UMP, exceeding the institution's target. This tracer study plays an important role in evaluating the quality of graduates and the relevance of education to the world of work. These findings provide a basis for improving the curriculum and quality of education at Universitas Negeri Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of self-concept and learning facilities on the academic achievement of Business Education Study Program students in online learning moderated by self-efficacy. The variables studied are self-concept, learning facilities, and online learning self-efficacy. The urgency of this study is to explore various factors related to students' academic achievement in online learning to improve and help support the online learning process to be better, so that the expected learning objectives can be achieved. This type of research is survey research and has a quantitative approach. The population of this study was all students who were active and still taking online lectures, approximately 177 students. Meanwhile, the research sample was taken using the nonprobability sampling method with a saturated sampling technique. The data analysis technique used Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Based on the results of the study, self-concept and learning facilities have an influence on student achievement both partially and simultaneously. Furthermore, self-efficacy was found to moderate the influence of self-concept and learning facilities on student achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of: 1) Entrepreneurship Education on students' Entrepreneurial Interest at SMK Labschool Unesa, and 2) Parental Support on students' Entrepreneurial Interest at SMK Labschool Unesa. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study consists of all students of class XI and XII majoring in Digital Business. The research sample comprises 54 students, selected through a purposive sampling technique (saturated sample). Data were collected through questionnaires using a likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis using multiple linier regression analysis. The results show that: 1) Entrepreneurship Subjects (X1) and Parental Support (X2) have a significant positive effect on the Entrepreneurial Interest of SMK Labschool 1 Unesa students, this can be seen from the results of multiple linear regression on X1 of 0,330 and X2 of 0,052. 2) The partial test (T-test) obtained a significance value of 0,004 for variable X1 and 0,000 for variable X2, or less than 0,05. Meanwhile, the simultaneous test (F-test) obtained a significance value of 0,001 or less than 0,05. This means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, so Entrepreneurship Subjects (X1) and Parental Support (X2) have a significant effect on Entrepreneurial Interest (Y) among SMK Labschool 1 Unesa students, Digital Business Department.

Abstract

The development of technology today has experienced rapid progress in various sectors of life. Social media is a strategic platform to introduce a product to reach consumers. The implementation of this strategy is carried out by several electric motorcycle companies to gain brand awareness of electric motorcycle products. This study aims to determine the influence of social media and brand awareness on the purchase decision of electric motorcycles in the city of Surabaya. This type of research uses quantitative research with the population of Surabaya people who have made a decision to purchase an electric motorcycle. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression which was processed using the SPSS (Statisstical Package for the Socio-Sciences) application. The results of this study indicate that social media and brand awareness have a simultaneous influence on the purchase decisions of electric motorcycles in Surabaya. Partially, social media has a significant effect on purchase decisions, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.036 and a t-value of 2.123, which exceeds the t-table value of 1.65. Likewise, brand awareness also shows a significant partial influence, with a significance value of 0.023 and a t-value of 2.298. These results confirm that both variables significantly affect purchase decisions, both collectively and individually. Keywords: Social Media; Brand awareness; Purchase Decision; Electric Motorcycle

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of event marketing, influencers, and financial literacy on Diamond purchasing decisions in the Mobile Legends game: Bang Bang in Surabaya. The method used is quantitative with survey techniques on 97 active player respondents who have purchased Diamonds. The regression analysis results show that the three variables have a significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, on purchasing decisions. Event marketing creates attraction through the event experience, influencers influence through proximity to the audience, while financial literacy helps players make wiser decisions. These findings are important for digital marketing strategies in the gaming industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media sosial, lingkungan sekolah, dan partisipasi siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X Bisnis Digital di SMKS Ketintang Surabaya. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa, tingginya intensitas penggunaan media sosial, kondisi lingkungan sekolah yang kurang mendukung, serta rendahnya partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei terhadap 49 siswa yang belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket dengan skala Likert 1–4. Hasil analisis regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar (sig. 0,931). Lingkungan sekolah menunjukkan pengaruh negatif signifikan (sig. 0.000), sedangkan partisipasi siswa berpengaruh positif signifikan (sig. 0,000) terhadap hasil belajar. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel memberikan pengaruh signifikan dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 68,5%. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses belajar sebagai faktor dominan dalam peningkatan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan literasi digital, penciptaan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, serta penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang mampu mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa untuk mendukung keberhasilan akademik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of price and promotion on the purchase interest of Indonesian iced tea products among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Unesa. This study is a descriptive quantitative study with a sample of 92 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Surabaya State University. Sampling used a simple random sampling technique. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. The results of the study explain that partially one of the variables does not affect the independent variable, namely the price variable (X1), while the promotion variable affects purchase interest. And the results of the study explain that simultaneously there is an influence of price and promotion on purchase interest in Indonesian iced tea products.
