Abstract

This community service project aims to enhance the understanding and skills of students and teachers at SDN Jombatan 3 Jombang in cultural arts, particularly in playing gamelan musical instruments. The students, representing the Alpha generation, face a lack of knowledge and experience in playing gamelan, leading to a diminished appreciation for local culture. This issue is attributed to the influence of globalization, insufficient Indonesian cultural education, and the perception that gamelan is outdated. To address these challenges, the project introduced gamelan instruments to students to foster a deeper appreciation of Indonesian culture. Methods employed included socialization, training, technology integration, mentoring, and evaluation. The service team conducted needs assessments through observations and interviews, followed by training on basic gamelan techniques using traditional instruments and modern presentation tools. Results indicated an increased enthusiasm for learning gamelan and a better understanding of local cultural arts. Positive feedback from participants highlighted the success of the training. To ensure the sustainability of the program, further training is planned, focusing on creating notation and dolanan songs, which will deepen participants' knowledge and skills in performing arts while preserving local cultural heritage.

Abstract

Based on the results of learning mathematics of class I SDN Sukorame 2, in essence, non-standard units of length, 3 out of 28 students did not meet the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) of 75 points. This study aims to develop mathematics learning outcomes by using question cards together with the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) strategy. Question cards and the PBL approach are expected to meet students' learning needs and improve their academic achievement. The use of the PTK methodology in the study, which has been carried out for two cycles and is based on the modified Kemmis and McTaggart model. The preparation, implementation, observation, and reflection stages are all included in each cycle. According to the research findings, the average score of students increased significantly from 70 in the pre-cycle to 74 in the first cycle and then to 89 in the second cycle. This shows how the PBL paradigm has succeeded in improving mathematics learning outcomes for first-grade students of SDN Sukorame 2 when used with question card material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerapanpendekatan scientific dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap berpikirkritis siswa materi manusia dan lingkungannya di sekolah dasar. Penelitian inimenggunakan penelitian True eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian Pretestposttestcontrol group design. Subjek penelitian kelas IVA dan kelas IVB SDNSingkalanyar 1 Prambon Nganjuk. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dianalisisdengan menggunakan SPSS 19.0 menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pendekatanscientific dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap berpikir kritis padamateri manusia dan lingkungannya di sekolah dasar dibuktikan dengan t hitung (13,377) > t tabel (2,021). Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwapenerapan pendekatan scientific dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah padamateri manusia dan lingkungannya di sekolah dasar dapat digunakan sebagai salahsatu alternatif model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of conducting the socialization of children's learning assistance during the pandemic period for the lower classes at SDIT Bina Insani Kediri is to increase the understanding of the guardians of students about children's learning styles, learning characteristics, psychological development of their sons and daughters so that in accompanying students' learning online, the guardians of the students already have the provisions that enough. This community service uses community assistance methods. This method is used in activities that aim to provide information, increase understanding and awareness to the public. The results of the socialization are based on interviews during socialization at zoom and the results of the questionnaire are that the majority of student guardians already understand about online learning, the obstacles that students experience while learning, and are able to accompany their children to study at home because they realize that parents are important players in learning children at home as a substitute for the teacher at school. Abstract

The skills of prospective teachers and elementary school teachers in operating digital-based technology are still very low. It has been proven that there are still many teachers who have not used digital applications in the learning process, outreach to parents regarding school programs, and school activities. This service aims to provide digital training related to making flyers as a medium for socialization and learning in elementary schools for prospective teachers and elementary school teachers. The service was carried out using the training method which was attended by 353 PGSD students and elementary school teachers. The training was carried out offline and online. As a result of the training, participants gave positive attention to the training they attended. This is evidenced by more than 50% of the participants filling out the questionnaire with a score of 4. This means that participants who were previously unfamiliar with technology have become knowledgeable. Nonetheless, there were deficiencies in the implementation of the training. Training should be carried out 100% offline with ideal participant capacity

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to provide assistance to the community of Blabak Village, Pesantren District, Kediri City about the importance of Parenting Education (Parenting) for parents of elementary school-age children. This activity was attended by 23 mothers of posyandu and PKK cadres who have elementary school-age children and was carried out on March 8, 2023. The method used in this service activity consists of a planning stage, namely observing the needs of the community in Blabak village so that problems related to parenting are obtained, an implementation stage with the delivery of material and questions and answers about parenting and an evaluation stage regarding filling out questionnaires by mentoring participants regarding parenting. Through this activity, it was found that the community who participated in the activity gave a positive response, and even hoped that the activity could be carried out on an ongoing basis so that more knowledge could be obtained related to parenting patterns of parents of elementary school-age children, so that with the right parenting patterns can make children become good characters.

Abstract

Since the establishment of the Covid-19 pandemic alert, the government has made recommendations to carry out all activities at home, including teaching and learning activities in schools. Home learning that is carried out online using a mobile phone has the effect of gadget addiction on children. This has an impact on patterns of social interaction in children which have an effect on lowering cultural literacy in children. Based on this problem, the COD (Campus On Duty) TEAM is trying to assist the implementation of cultural literacy in several schools in the Kediri district. The PKM program activities include 4 stages, namely the preparation, implementation, program evaluation, and reporting stages. The target to be achieved is the application of cultural literacy through simple activities and traditional games to rebuild students' patterns of social interaction. The result of this PKM is cultural literacy assistance which has been carried out in several schools in the Kediri district

Abstract

The problem in this study Lecturers apply lecture and assignment models, so that students do not understand the material on humans and their environment. The impact is that student motivation and learning outcomes decrease. To overcome this problem, Creative Problem Solving and IDEAL Problem Solving are applied which are oriented towards Experiential Learning. The research subjects are 1st semester PGSD students. The sample uses a random sampling technique of 2 classes. This study uses an Experimental method with a two-way ANOVA analysis technique with a 2x2 path. Learning outcome data uses tests and learning motivation data uses questionnaires with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used for test data is SPSS, a significance level of 5% (0.05) Meanwhile, learning motivation data uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale with data interpretation 13-20: high motivation category and 0-12: low motivation category. The results of the study were 1) P-value model 0.842 > 0.05, then Ha was accepted, meaning that there was a difference in learning outcomes of students who received Creative Problem Solving treatment oriented to Experiential Learning and IDEAL Problem Solving oriented to Experiential Learning, 2) P-value motivation 0.001 <0.05, then Ha was rejected, meaning that there was no difference in motivation between students who were given lectures on the Creative Problem Solving model oriented to Experiential Learning and IDEAL Problem Solving oriented to Experiential Learning, 3) P-value interaction model with motivation 0.017 <0.05, then Ha was rejected, meaning that there was no interaction between the Creative Problem Solving model oriented to Experiential Learning and IDEAL Problem Solving oriented to Experiential Learning with student learning motivation.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes on the topic of time measurement through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model supported by content differentiation strategies in Grade II of SDN Sukorame 2, Kediri City. This approach was chosen due to the students’ low engagement and understanding of time concepts in conventional learning. The research was conducted as a Classroom Action Research (CAR) over two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes. In Cycle I, the percentage of students achieving mastery was 37,93% with an average score of 68,51. After implementing PBL and content differentiation in Cycle II, the mastery level increased to 89.66% with an average score of 80. These findings indicate that problem-based learning combined with content differentiation can foster active, contextual, and student-centered learning. Therefore, this model can be an effective alternative for teaching mathematics in lower elementary grades ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada materi pengukuran waktu melalui penerapan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) yang didukung strategi diferensiasi konten di kelas II SDN Sukorame 2 Kota Kediri. Pendekatan ini dipilih karena rendahnya keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep waktu dalam pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup observasi, wawancara, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus I, persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 37,93% dengan rata-rata nilai 68,51. Setelah penerapan PBL dan diferensiasi konten pada siklus II, ketuntasan belajar meningkat menjadi 89,66% dengan rata-rata nilai 80. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang dikombinasikan dengan diferensiasi konten mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif, kontekstual, dan sesuai kebutuhan siswa. Dengan demikian, model ini dapat menjadi alternatif efektif dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas rendah.

Abstract

Pancasila Education learning in grade 2 of Jegreg Elementary School still uses teacher's books and student's books, making students less active and having difficulty understanding the material on Pancasila values. Based on the results of observations and interviews, out of 25 students only 8 achieved the KKTP score (75). This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using interactive multimedia "NILA" to improve student learning outcomes. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were 25 grade II students, with data collected through observation, interviews, and learning outcome tests. The learning media was tested in a limited and extensive manner. The results of the limited trial showed a completion rate of 100%, and the extensive trial was 100%. These results indicate that interactive multimedia "NILA" is very effective in improving student learning outcomes, exceeding the KKTP score, and can be used without the need for improvement.
