Abstract

Character education is a human activity in which there is an educational action effort whose purpose is for the next generation of the nation.  At the age of elementary school children's growth and development becomes the most important part of their life.  Because a child at that age is likened to a white sheet of paper, the child will accommodate the various information he gets and then will save all the strokes that are written in his memory according to what he gets.  This research article aims to get an overview of how teacher behavior and character education can improve the quality of education in Indonesia, especially at SDN 105416 Sei Rejo.  The method used is a qualitative method and the technique used is a type of literature review research.  The subjects in this study were teachers and students, the objects in this study were character education in elementary schools.  Character education aims to improve the quality of implementation and results of education in schools that lead to the achievement of the formation of character and noble character of students as a whole.

Abstract

Parents are the first place for a child to get socialization regarding character education. Children spend more time at home with their parents, so that parents have the biggest contribution to character education in children. By providing character education to children from an early age, it will be useful for the child's life in the future. In making this article aims to get an overview of the role of parents in the formation of character in elementary school children. The method used in is a qualitative method. The subjects in this study were parents and students, the object of this study was the role of parents in character education for elementary school-age children. Character education aims to develop the potential to become human beings who have noble character, character education must continue over time character education is needed for each individual to become a better person and be able to uphold human values.

Abstract

The teaching and learning process will take place effectively and efficiently if the learning process is carried out in the presence of good learning resources, one of which is the Islamic-based rights and obligations learning module. Based on observations made, learning outcomes and student activities have not been effective. The lack of use of learning devices is one of the reasons. Based modules are devices used to make students understand and know more based on the Koran and hahdits. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the Islamic-based rights and obligations module in class V SDS Muhammadiyah 32 Medan. This study used an experimental method using one class as a sample. Collecting data in this study by observation and tests. The resulting data were analyzed using the t-test formula. The results of the t-test analysis using a significant level of 5% indicate that the sig (2-tailed) module of Islamic-based rights and obligations learning on student learning outcomes and activities is 0.000 <0.05 so it can be concluded that the use of Islamic-based rights and obligations modules is effectively used in the learning process.

Abstract

This article aims to develop a Civics module with Islamic values ​​on the rights and obligations of high school students in elementary schools. This research is development research (R&D). This research uses a development research model. The steps in this research are: (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) module validation, (5) module design revision, (6) limited module trial, (7 ) Revision of modules, (8) The final product of the Civics module has Islamic values ​​that meet the valid and practical criteria. The development process includes product design and product validation. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the PPKn module has Islamic value. The material of rights and obligations developed has met the very valid criteria. This is evidenced by the average results of expert validation of 96% and 90% with very valid criteria. The Civics module has Islamic values. The material of Rights and Obligations developed has met the practical criteria. This is evidenced by the results of the questionnaire from the small group trial. The score is 86.34% with very practical criteria. From the small group trial, it was concluded that the module developed was very valid and practical.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of offline learning assisted by the Serli practicum module on the solar system material on the learning motivation of sixth-grade students of SD Inpres Lolu. The type of this research is quantitative research with experimental research type using a Quasi-experimental method with a Quasi-experimental design. The subjects in this study were students of class VI SD Inpres Lolu totaling 21 people. There were 11 experimental class students and 10 control class students. Data collection was carried out using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire, and data analysis using prerequisite tests, namely normality test and homogeneity test and hypothesis testing using unpaired test sample t-test which was analyzed using SPSS Statistics version 25. Based on the results of this study showed a significant value of paired sample T-Test 0.000 <0.05 then accepts the Ha hypothesis and rejects Ho, meaning offline learning assisted by the Serli practicum module on the solar system material affects the learning motivation of sixth-grade students of SD Inpres Lolu.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the relationship between teacher creativity and student interest in learning. The research design used is a type of qualitative research that is correlational. The research data was obtained through the distribution of a questionnaire containing some statements that were responded to by the respondents. The samples of this study were students of class VI, V, VI, and homeroom teachers of class IV, V, VI SD Inpres Lolu, totaling 74 students and 3 homeroom teachers. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23 software for windows. Based on the results of the correlation test, obtained the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.355 > 0.05, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and accepts the alternative hypothesis (Ha). The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between teacher creativity and student interest in learning.

Abstract

Kurangnya menerapkan media pembelajaran, dengan adanya media pembelajaran yang membawa siswa belajar sambil bermain akan membuat anak lebih paham untuk menguasai materi dan juga dengan mudah untuk mengingat materi pembelajaran yang dibahas, apalagi dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang berbasis 3D akan membuat siswa semakin penasaran sehingga timbul rasa semangat dalam dirinya akan pembelajaran yang diberikan. Dengan tujuan agar siswadapat tertarik, berkonsentrasi atau terfokus pada gambar dan mampu menggunakan daya fikir untuk dapat memecahkan suatu teka-teki atau masalah dengan koordinasi mata dan tanganya sehingga kognitif siswa dapat berkembang baik dengan media yang menarik. penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) yaitu pengembangan suatu proses yang dipakai untuk mengembangkan dan memvalidasi produk pendidikan. Metode yang digunakkan adalah metode borg and gall yang dimana ada 10 tahapan namun diperkecil menjadi 6 tahapan. Produk yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa Media PUBAL 3D (Puzzle Balok 3D) pada pembelajaran tematik. Yang menjadi populasi adalah seluruh Siswa Kelas 3 SD Swasta Qurrta A’yun, Yang berjumlah satu kelas dengan jumlah keseluruhan 40 siswa, siswa laki-laki terdiri dari 15 orang dan siswa perempuan 25 orang. Setelah melakukan pengembangan media sesuai dengan metode penelitian R&D yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu dan menguji kepraktisan, dan kevalidan produk atau media yang dikembangkan yaitu media PUBAL 3D (Puzzle Balok 3D) pada pembelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas 3 SD Swasta Qurta ayun. Dari hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli desain diperoleh 98,3%, hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi adalah 95,7%, dan hasil validasi yang dilakukan oelh ahli bahasa adalah 98,3%. Dari hasil kepraktisan oleh guru adalah 82,6% dan kepraktisan oleh siswa adalah 60.3% penilaian tes soal dalam proses pembelajaran IPA mendapatkan nilai 80-100 sebanyak 25 siswa atau setara dengan 87,6% telah mengalami peningkatan, dimana pada media sangat berpengaruh dalam pembelajaran. Maka dari hasil yang diperoleh media PUBAL 3D (Puzzle Balok 3D) yang dikembangkan efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep belajar siswa terhadap materi yang diberikan guru. Media PUBAL 3D (Puzzle Balok 3D) valid untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran IPA dan tingkat kepraktisan media juga sangat baik untuk menyampaikan materi sesuai tujuan pembelajaran di kelas 3 SD Swasta Qurrta A’yun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran dan guru belum pernah menggunakan media pembelajaran kantong ajaib. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui keaktifan siswa kelas III SDIT Mardhiyah Binjai di kelas kontrol, 2) untuk mengetahui keaktifan siswa kelas III SDIT Mardhiyah Binjai di kelas eksperimen, 3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran kantong ajaib terhadap keaktifan siswa kelas III SDIT Mardhiyah Binjai. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SDIT Mardhiyah Binjai Tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran kantong ajaib, dan variabel terikatnya adalah keaktifan siswa. Instrumen penelitian ini dengan meggunakan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji prasyarat (uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas) dan uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata (mean) setelah diberi perlakuan menggunakan media pembelajaran kantong ajaib di kelas eksperimen yaitu 88,10. Sedangkan siswa di kelas kontrol rata-rata (mean) tanpa diberikan media pembelajaran kantong ajaib yaitu 75,78. Sehingga siswa yang mendapat perlakuan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran kantong ajaib memiliki rata-rata lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan tanpa menggunakan media pembelajaran kantong ajaib. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran kantong ajaib berpengaruh terhadap keaktifan siswa, karena pada hasil analisis uji t (independent t-test) diperoleh hasil nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,00. Dalam hal ini, nilai sig (2-tailed) yang diperoleh ˂ 0,05 atau 0,000 ˂ 0,05. Maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Artinya terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran kantong ajaib terhadap keaktifan siswa kelas III SDIT Mardhiyah Binjai.
