Abstract

Aquaculture faces various challenges, including uncertainty in timely and appropriate feeding, which can affect fish health and productivity. This research aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based aquaculture monitoring system equipped with an automatic fish feeder. The research method used in this research is the prototype method. The automatic fish feeder prototype is developed and integrated with sensors and IoT devices. Data was collected through system testing at a real aquaculture site, by monitoring water quality parameters and feeding schedules using a web-based application. The results showed that the IoT-based monitoring system was able to provide real-time information on feeding status and pond conditions. The automatic fish feeder successfully delivers feed according to fish needs, reduces feed wastage, and improves pond environmental quality.

Abstract

This Community Service activity focuses on mentoring and training in the creation of learning media using Augmented Reality (AR) technology for teachers of Special Schools (SLB) in Dharmasraya Regency. The aim of this activity is to enhance teachers' competencies in applying the latest educational technology to enrich their teaching methods. The method used is Service-Learning, which includes theoretical and practical training, socialization of AR technology, and continuous evaluation through surveys and feedback from participants. The results of the activity show a significant increase in teachers' understanding and ability to use AR in the learning process, as evidenced by improvements in pre-test and post-test scores as well as positive feedback from the teachers. The implications of this activity indicate that the implementation of AR in learning at SLB can enhance interactivity and effectiveness in teaching, as well as motivate students with special needs through more inclusive and engaging methods. Recommendations for the future include further development of the AR training curriculum and the provision of ongoing technical support for teachers at SLB.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi studi yang telah dilakukan sehubungan dengan penggunaan Flipped Classroom dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Geografi. Data yang diambil dari basis data Dimensions dan Google Scholar digunakan untuk mengumpulkan publikasi yang terkait dengan model Flipped Classroom. Data tersebut kemudian divisualisasikan menggunakan VOSViewer, dan dianalisis serta dievaluasi berdasarkan pasangan bibliografi negara, lembaga, jurnal, penulis, serta kata kunci penulis yang sering muncul bersamaan. Dalam penelitian ini, sebanyak 762 publikasi dipilih berdasarkan kriteria 10 tahun terakhir (2014-2023). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia merupakan negara dengan jumlah penelitian terbanyak terkait penggunaan model Flipped Classroom dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Selain itu, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha merupakan lembaga yang paling berpengaruh dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan pasangan lembaga, sedangkan Retnawati, H. adalah penulis yang paling berpengaruh berdasarkan pasangan penulis. Kata kunci "model" juga sering muncul dalam bidang penelitian ini selain "Flipped Classroom". Artikel ini membahas tren penelitian dan perkembangan konsep Flipped Classroom dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguraikan perancangan dan pembangunan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat mendata barang secara IT dan berbasis Web. Toko Dua Putri  merupakan sebuah perusahaan perseorangan yang berlokasi di Sungai Langkok, Kec. Tiumang, Kab. Dharmasraya. Tujuan dibuatnya aplikasi pendatan barang berbasis web ini adalah untuk melakukan pendataan barang secara IT dan diharapkan mampu membuat  pendataan barang pada Toko Dua Putri menjadi lebih mudah dan aman karena pengaksesan aplikasi ini berbasis Web. Untuk mendukung usaha ini agar menjadi perusahaan yang maju maka dari itu saya dan pemilik perusahaan Toko Dua Putri telah sepakat untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi yang dapat mendata barang dengan menggunakan IT (Teknologi Informasi) untuk menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan IT pada zaman sekarang yang dapat memudahkan pemilik perusahaan Toko Dua Putri ini dalam mendata berbagai macam barang dengan efektif dan efisien, namun aplikasi ini masih dijalankan dengan secara manual.

Abstract

Hafiz Perabot faces challenges every year in selecting quality wood raw materials for the production process. This selection process is still done manually, so the decisions made are less precise, take a long time, and are inefficient. To improve production efficiency and ensure the use of quality raw materials, a more optimized system is needed. The solution to overcome this problem is to implement a web-based Decision Support System (SPK) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This method calculates the weighted sum to produce rankings as a basis for decision making in the selection of quality wood raw materials. The application was developed using the PHP programming language with a MySQL database for fast and accurate data management. The results of this study indicate that there is 1 quality wood raw material received from 10 wood material data, namely V8 (Ulin) with Rank 1. This Decision Support System can help Hafiz Perabot in determining quality wood raw materials, thereby improving production quality and efficiency in the decision-making process.

Abstract

Pelatihan dan pendampingan implementasi teknologi pakan alternatif ikan lele terintegrasi magot BSF di Pokdakan Rangkiang Farm bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi budidaya ikan lele dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya lokal. Latar belakang dari kegiatan ini adalah tingginya biaya pakan yang menjadi kendala utama bagi petani ikan lele, serta kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan hasil panen yang optimal. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi tahap persiapan, penyuluhan, praktik pembuatan pakan alternatif, serta penerapan teknologi manajemen berbasis web dan IoT. Hasil dari pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan 80% peserta melaporkan peningkatan pemahaman, sementara 86,67% peserta mengalami peningkatan dalam pemahaman mengenai efisiensi dan efektivitas penggunaan teknologi pakan alternatif. Selain itu, peserta juga menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan teknis dan percaya diri dalam menggunakan teknologi baru. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya potensi peningkatan ekonomi bagi kelompok tani melalui penerapan teknologi yang lebih efisien, serta kontribusi positif terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini tidak hanya bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kapasitas teknis peserta, tetapi juga untuk mendorong inovasi dan keberlanjutan dalam sektor budidaya ikan.   Training and mentoring for the implementation of alternative feed technology for catfish integrated with BSF maggot at Pokdakan Rangkiang Farm aims to increase the productivity and efficiency of catfish farming by utilizing local resources. The background of this activity is the high feed costs that are a major constraint for catfish farmers, as well as the need to improve optimal harvest results. The methods used in this activity include preparatory stages, counseling, practical training in making alternative feed, and the application of web-based management technology and IoT. The results of the training show a significant increase in participants' understanding of alternative feed technology and its application in catfish farming. Additionally, participants also demonstrate improved technical skills and confidence in using new technologies. The implications of this activity include the potential for economic improvement for farmer groups through the implementation of more efficient technology, as well as a positive contribution to environmental sustainability. Thus, this training is beneficial not only for enhancing participants' technical capacity but also for promoting innovation and sustainability in the fish farming sector.

Abstract

This research aims to overcome several challenges in vocational education, primarily related to the lack of learning tools and the development of 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. This research uses the research and development (RD) model with the ADDIE development procedure, with the steps analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data was collected through surveys, interviews, and observations of students and teachers during the teaching and learning process. The research results show that the augmented reality-competency based learning (AR-CBL) application effectively increases students’ understanding of computer network material. Apart from that, AR-CBL also has the potential to be an interactive learning tool that can improve student learning motivation. The AR-CBL learning model resulting from this research can support the development of technical skills and critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity (4C) abilities. The implementation of AR-CBL also has the potential to improve educational standards in vocational schools and help graduates better match industry needs. With the results of this research, schools and education stakeholders can consider using AR-CBL technology in the vocational school curriculum to prepare graduates to face the world of work in this digital era.

Abstract

This study was conducted in response to the low learning outcomes of Grade XI Chemistry students at SMAN 10 Tebo, which were attributed to limited learning media variation, low student engagement, and minimal use of interactive technology. The purpose of this research was to develop a guided inquiry-based e-module integrated with educational games to enhance students’ understanding of hydrocarbon compounds. The development process followed the ADDIE model, encompassing the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The feasibility of the e-module was assessed in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research participants included a chemistry teacher and 11th-grade students from SMAN 10 Tebo. Data were collected through validation sheets, response questionnaires, and achievement tests. The e-module incorporated interactive components such as Wordwall-based educational games and Quizizz assessments to promote active learning. The findings revealed that the e-module was valid (Aiken’s V = 0.91), highly practical (teacher practicality = 97.73%; student practicality = 92.79%), and highly effective (average N-Gain = 0.75). Based on these results, the guided inquiry-based e-module integrated with educational games is recommended as a valid, practical, and effective tool to improve students’ chemistry learning outcomes, particularly on hydrocarbon materials.
