Abstract

Mental health issues affecting university students, particularly first-year students, are increasingly concerning, with many experiencing anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. Globally, approximately one in three first-year students faces these challenges. In the U.S., 22% of students receive psychiatric treatment, while in Indonesia, 10% of youth aged 15-24 report psychological problems, with suicide rates on the rise. These disorders negatively impact academic performance, emotional well-being, and social interactions, with contributing factors such as lifestyle, genetics, and gender. Unhealthy habits heighten the risk, while regular physical activity and engagement in hobbies act as protective factors. This research aims to analyze the risk factors and mental health protection of students using a data mining approach. With classification techniques, this research is expected to provide a holistic understanding of the risk factors causing mental health disorders among students and to identify the protective factors. Based on responses from 1,039 students across 15 districts in Lampung Province, the analysis identifies key risk factors including academic pressure, poor time management, heavy workloads, and lack of social support. Protective factors identified include spending time in nature, ensuring sufficient sleep, and balanced participation in student organizations. Findings suggest that universities should implement targeted mental health interventions, provide counseling services, offer workshops and peer support groups, and create a supportive, green campus environment to enhance student well-being and mitigate stress.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Fobia sosial terjadi ketika seseorang memiliki ketakutan yang kuat terhadap lingkungan sosial, banyak terjadi dikalangan mahasiswa perguruan tinggi. Prevalensi kecemasan sosial dikalangan mahasiswa  diseluruh dunia sekitar 7-33%. Dampak fobia sosial yaitu seseorang cenderung menghindari kontak dengan orang lain, kecemasan yang berlebihan dan mempengaruhi kinerja akademik. Teknik relaksasi nafas dalam adalah teknik olah nafas dapat meningkatkan ventilasi alveolar, mengurangi stres fisik, mental, mengurangi kecemasan dan kecemasan sosial. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik relaksasi nafas dalam terhadap gejala fobia sosial pada mahasiswa keperawatan di Universitas Aisyah Pringsewu. Metode: Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-experimental design dengan pendekatan one-grup pre-test-post-test-design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mahasiswa Universitas Aisyah Pringsewu berjumlah 423 responden, dengan sampel 20 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability dengan metode purpusive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji -t sampel berpasangan (paired sampel t-test). Hasil: Hasil Uji statistik paried sample t-test menunjukkan pengaruh teknik relaksasi nafas dalam terhadap gejala fobia sosial pada mahasiswa keperawatan di Universitas Aisyah Pringsewu dengan p-value = 0,000 < 0,05. Simpulan: Diharapkan agar bisa memberikan informasi tentang gejala fobia dan mengadakan kegiatan teknik relaksasi napas dalam untuk mengurangi stres, mengurangi kecemasan sosial serta mengurangi tingkat gejala fobia sosial pada mahasiswa.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Remaja merupakan masa perkembangan yang berfokus pada perubahan biologis, koginitif, dan sosial emosional. Kecerdasan emosional bagaimana seorang individu mampu mengelola emosinya dengan cerdas, terutama dalam interaksi dengan orang lain. Salah satu penyebab remaja mengalami kesulitan dalam berinteraksi sosial adalah ketidakmampuan dalam mengontrol emosinya dengan cerdas sehingga remaja akan berprilaku agresif, kurangnya penerimaan sosial (teman sebaya), kurangnya kemampuan dalam beradaptasi dan kurangnya pengembangan keterampilan sosialnya. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan interaksi sosial pada remaja di SMP Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung. Metode: Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/siswi SMP Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung yang berjumlah 89 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode proporsional stratafied random sampling. Penelitian ini  menggunakan uji statistik gamma. Hasil: Hasil uji statistik gamma didapat p-value = 0,003 < 0,05 artinya terdapat hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan interaksi sosial pada remaja di SMP Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung. Simpulan: Diharapkan bagi pihak sekolah untuk memberikan informasi atau mengadakan kegiatan yang bisa di ikuti semua remaja seperti mengintegrasi pendidikan kecerdasan emosional, aktifkan ekstrakulikuler, adakan sesi konseling dan dukungan emosional.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Masa remaja merupakan fase penting dalam perkembangan individu, di mana mereka menghadapi berbagai tantangan seperti pergaulan bebas, penggunaan narkoba, merokok, dan alkohol. Stresor-stresor ini dapat menyebabkan perasaan tidak berdaya, rendah diri, dan putus asa, yang berkontribusi pada timbulnya depresi. Depresi pada remaja ditandai dengan perasaan sedih, tidak berharga, rasa bersalah, penarikan diri dari sosial, kesulitan tidur, serta kehilangan minat terhadap aktivitas sehari-hari. Memahami penyebab utama dari masalah emosional ini sangat penting untuk mendukung kesehatan mental dan ketahanan remaja. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas terapi peningkatan kepercayaan diri dan spiritual dalam mengurangi gejala depresi pada remaja. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 21 remaja yang mengalami gejala depresi. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari terapi peningkatan kepercayaan diri dan spiritual terhadap penurunan gejala depresi. Uji statistik yang dilakukan menunjukkan distribusi data tidak normal berdasarkan uji Shapiro-Wilk, sehingga analisis dilanjutkan dengan uji Wilcoxon, yang menghasilkan p-value (0,000) < 0,05. Simpulan: Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa terapi yang diberikan efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat gejala depresi pada remaja, memberikan harapan bagi pengembangan intervensi serupa di masa depan.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kualitas hidup dapat diartikan sebagai persepsi seseorang mengenai posisi mereka dalam kehidupanya berdasarakan konteks budaya serta system nilai yang di jalani yang  berkaitan dengan tujuan, harpan,  standar  dan  perhatiannya,  dimana  kualitas  hidup  terdiri  dari  komponen  fisik,  psikologis,  faktor  sosial  dan faktor lingkungan. Tujuan: Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahuiHubungan Dukungan Keluarga Dengan Kualitas Hidup Keluarga Dalam Merawat Pasien Skizofrenia Di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas Ambarawa Kabupaten Pringsewu. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif, dengan desain penelitian analitik dan pendekatan cross sectional. Subyek penelitiannya adalah keluarga pasien dengan Skizofrenia. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitiain adalah seluruh keluarga pasien dengain Skizrofenia di Puskesmas Ambarawa yaitu sebanyak 46 responden. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode total sampling yaitu seluruh populasi menjadi subyek penelitian sebanyak 46 responden dan uji statistic uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Hasil analisis statistik menggunakan uji chi-square menunjukkan bahwa nilai p-value = 0,003 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga Dengan Kualitas Hidup Keluarga Dalam Merawat Pasien Skizofrenia Di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas Ambarawa Kabupaten Pringsewu.

Abstract

In the current era of digital learning, teachers must take a more active role in teaching their students. They also need to help students solve problems and use technology actively and consciously. By implementing this learning approach, teachers can enhance information, learning, innovation, media, and technology skills. The focus of this study will be towards the efficacy of learning using wordwalls strategy applied in the learning context, with the aim of identifying how this strategy can contribute to the improvement of students' abilities. It is anticipated that this study will offer insightful information to educators and policymakers in designing more effective and responsive learning practices to meet students' needs. The literature study method is used in this investigation. In order to boost students' interest in learning, the literature study for this study consists of a number of activities pertaining to gathering information from literature, reading and taking notes, and managing research data about the Wordwall Game-Based Mathematics Learning Strategy in Elementary Schools in a methodical, objective, analytical, and critical manner. The preparation of this literature review is identical to that of other studies. Reading, noting, and analyzing research materials from papers pertaining to this research variable are the distinct sources and methods of data collection.

Abstract

Depression is a common phenomenon in Indonesia, particularly among adolescents. Many teenagers today suffer from mild to severe depression as a result of stress from both internal and external factors, which can lead to mental problems and even suicidal thoughts. This fact can be seen from the results of the pretest conducted on students in class 11 Mathematics and Natural Sciences  3, which resulted in eight students who have mild depression categories. Therefore, an effort should be made to reduce the level of depression symptoms by providing group counseling using motivational interviewing techniques so that the level of depression symptoms does not rise to the severe depression level. This study aims to see how effective group counseling with the motivational interviewing technique is in helping class 11 Mathematics and Natural Science 3 of State Islamic High School 2 Bandar Lampung students overcome mild symptoms of depression. This study employed a pre-experimental research method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data-collecting techniques employed were questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The purposive sampling technique was utilized to select eight students as the sample from class 11 Mathematics and Natural Sciences 3. The treatment consisted of six meetings, including pretests and posttests. The results revealed a pretest score of 263 with an average of 32.8 and a posttest score of 151 with an average of 18.8. There is a noticeable difference after receiving group counseling with motivational interviewing technique. The results of the T-test and N-gain indicated a decrease in the level of depression experienced by students, as seen by the pretest and posttest scores.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between Islamic guidance and counseling (BKI) and the ḥalāqah ta'lim method to improve students' spirituality at Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study type. Data in the form of Islamic Guidance and Counseling service activities with Ḥalāqah Ta'lim in Improving the Spirituality of Students at Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN Raden Intan Lampung obtained through observation techniques, in-depth interviews (with Ma'had administrators, ustadz/ustadzah, and students), and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The study results indicate that the ḥalāqah ta'lim method, as one of the methods in Islamic guidance and counseling, plays a significant role in improving students' spirituality. The ḥalāqah ta'lim method can be an effective form of service because it includes important elements that align with Islamic counseling principles, such as spiritual guidance, character development, and improving the quality of individual life. The activities of the ḥalāqah ta'lim method, which include learning the Qur'an, learning English and Arabic, and moral development, can increase the spiritual awareness of Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN Raden Intan Lampung students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a product in the form of ESD-oriented Google Sites learning media to improve critical thinking skills of grade IV students of SDN 05 Indralaya. The type of research used in this study is development with the ADDIE model. The subjects used in this study were class IV A of SDN 05 Indralaya. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, tests, observations and documentation. The results of the validation of material experts obtained a percentage of 98.21% with a very feasible category. The validation of media experts obtained a percentage of 90.38% with a very feasible category. The validation of practitioner experts obtained a percentage of 99.07% with a very feasible category. The results of student responses at the individual stage obtained a percentage of 96.53% with a very practical category and at the small group stage obtained a percentage of 97.22% with a very practical category. The N-Gain score obtained was 0.855 with a very high category, thus it can be concluded that the resulting product is feasible to use in learning activities.
