Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja saham syariah dan saham konvensional sebelum pandemi Covid-19 dan selama pandemi Covid-19 di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sampel yang digunakan adalah saham-saham yang terdaftar di Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) sebagai representasi untuk saham syariah dan saham yang terdaftar di Indeks IDX30 sebagai representasi untuk saham konvensional dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan adalah harga penutupan bulanan periode Januari 2018 sampai dengan Desember 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan Risk Adjusted Performance dari Sharpe ratio, Treynor ratio dan Jensen alpha ratio untuk melihat kinerja saham dan menggunakan Independent sample t test atau Mann u Uji Whitney untuk melihat apakah ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara saham syariah dan saham konvensional.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how Nazir's awareness registered with BWI (Indonesian Waqf Board) West Sumatra Region towards cash waqf risk management, knowing what risks exist in each institution and how to mitigate the risks that exist in the institution. The research method uses a mixed exploratory method, preceded by structured interviews and then filling out online questionnaires. The results of the study show that overall nazir registered with BWI West Sumatra Region has an awareness of the risks of cash waqf management, the risks contained in the institution consist of financial risk, operational risk, sharia non-compliance risk and reputation risk. Risk mitigation carried out includes investing cash waqf in the form of deposits, investing in own products, making soup (standard operating procedures), having a DSN-MUI certified supervisory board, fulfilling the mandate of wakif, transacting only with Islamic banks, making certificates as nazir who registered with BWI, conducting socialization about cash waqf, reporting and commitment to be willing to be audited and others. With the small number of cash waqf owned by some of these money waqf nazir institutions, it indicates that the public's interest and knowledge of cash waqf is still low. Whereas West Sumatra is an area with a Muslim majority, which should have good knowledge and literacy regarding cash waqf.

Abstract

COVID-19 has an impact on SMEs. Therefore BNI is making efforts to save credit.in.the.form of credit restructuring.for.debtors who are caused by COVID-19. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of restructuring, nominal loan size, and the business industry sector on the Quality of MSME Debtor Loan Assets in West Sumatra Province, Riau Province and Riau Islands Province. this research is quantitative.research with the object of research namely PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. the.sample in.this.study was 210 indicators taken using a purposive sampling technique. The collected data is then analyzed statistically with.SPSS. The results of this.study shows that the Provision of Restructuring has a significant effect on the Quality of Debtor Assets at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero). Then, the Industrial Sector partially has a significant effect on the Quality of Debtor Assets at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The nominal loan partially has a significant.effect.on the quality.of theldebtor's assets at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Gender moderates the relationship between Restructuring Grants and Debtor Asset Quality at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk RegionallOffice 02. However, gender partially does notlsignificantlylmoderate the relationship between the Industrial Sector and Debtor Asset Quality at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Gender moderates the relationship between the loan nominal andlthe quality of the debtor'slassets at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk.

Abstract

The research design used is a hypothesis testing design. The population in this study were all conventional commercial banks listed on the IDX in 2014-2019. The sampling method used is purposive sampling method. The sample of this research is 10 commercial banks. The data analysis method used is the panel data method. The results of this study indicate: Corporate Environmental Disclosure has a negative and insignificant effect, Corporate Governance represented by institutional ownership and managerial ownership has a negative and insignificant effect, but the female board of directors has a positive and significant effect, while the independent board of commissioners has a positive and insignificant effect on bank risk. The standard deviation of ROA as a proxy for bank risk variables shows an R squared value of 34.36% while the remaining 65.64% is influenced by other parties not examined in this study. The results of this study must be considered because they are able to contribute to the literature that can affect bank risk.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect the timeliness of submitting financial reports to companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2020 period. The population in this study were all consumer goods industrial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2020 period. The sampling technique used in this research is non-probability sampling by using purposive sampling method with certain criteria. The research sample is 46 companies with a total of 184 observations. This study was tested using logistic regression analysis. Timelines (measured by a dummy variable, 1 if the company fulfills the submission of financial statements) is before and on March 31, while 0 for delayed submission). The results of hypothesis testing from this study indicate that profitability, institutional ownership, age have a significant effect on the timeliness of submitting financial statements. While leverage has a significant negative effect on timeliness, and company size, KAP size, education have no significant effect on the timeliness of submitting financial statements.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of entrepreneur characteristics, financial literacy, and religiosity on the decisions about female entrepreneurship funding in the creative industries in West Sumatra. It used the non-probability sampling techniques with the purposive sampling criteria, involving 130 female entrepreneurs as respondents. The study found that there was an influence of age, income, and personal financial literacy variables on the decision of female entrepreneurship funding in the creative industries in the province. This research is beneficial for women running businesses in creative industries in West Sumatra with the handicraft and fashion industries benefiting the most as the results of this study can be used as additional information in selecting the optimal sources for business financing

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of investment decisions, funding decisions, and dividend policies on firm value of Indonesian manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2018. The research sample consisted of 23 companies with 115 observations conducted during the period. Manufacturers, which process raw materials into semi-finished or finished goods, are identical with factories that use machinery, equipment, engineering techniques, and labour (Heizer Render, 2015). The study found that partially the effect of investments with the proxy investment opportunity set (IOS) on firm value was positive and significant. It demonstrates the ability of a company to obtain and manage capital that ultimately has a positive impact on firm value. This study found that the effect of funding decisions on firm value was negative and significant. While the effect of dividend policy on firm value was proved to be positive but not significant. The study selected firm size as the control variable that had a positive but insignificant effect on firm value.

Abstract

Introduction: Financial distress is a condition where a company experiences problems with its finances so that the company is threatened with bankruptcy. Purpose: This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of cash flow, profitability, and leverage variables partially on financial distress, as well as to determine which variable has the most dominant effect on financial distress in manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector. The data processed is secondary data from the annual reports of 46 manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the IDX for 2018-2021 taken through purposive sampling. The method used in this study is panel data regression analysis using Eviews version 10. The results of this study indicate that: cash flow has a significant positive effect on financial distress, profitability has a significant negative effect on financial distress, and leverage has a significant positive effect on financial distress. Methods: This study used a purposive sampling technique with a sample of 46 manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector. Results: This study found that cash flow had a significant positive effect on financial distress, profitability had a significant negative effect on financial distress, and leverage had a significant positive effect on financial distress. Conclusion: It can be concluded that in this study cash flow and profitability have no significant effect on financial distress while leverage has a negative and significant effect on financial distress in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2021
