Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh Research & Development (R&D) Intensity dan Managerial Ability terhadap kinerja perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2020–2024, serta menguji peran Managerial Ability sebagai variabel moderasi. Variabel kontrol yang digunakan meliputi leverage, firm size, dan firm age untuk memberikan gambaran lebih komprehensif. Sampel penelitian ditentukan melalui purposive sampling, dengan metode analisis regresi data panel random effect model menggunakan aplikasi Stata. Kinerja keuangan diproksikan melalui Return on Assets (ROA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa R&D Intensity berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan, yang menegaskan pentingnya investasi penelitian dan pengembangan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional serta daya saing. Selain itu, Managerial Ability juga berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja, sejalan dengan teori Upper Echelons yang menekankan peran kemampuan manajerial tingkat atas dalam menentukan arah strategis perusahaan. Namun, peran Managerial Ability sebagai variabel moderasi tidak terbukti signifikan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pengaruh R&D Intensity terhadap kinerja perusahaan bersifat langsung, tanpa dipengaruhi oleh variasi kemampuan manajerial.

Abstract

The information that investors receive plays a crucial role in shaping their expectations regarding a firm's future prospects. It serves as a signal of the firm's performance, further amplified by its total market capitalization. This study delves into the relationship between financial performance and stock returns, with market capitalization acting as a moderating variable. Drawing on panel data from banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2013 and 2022, the research encompasses 363 firm-year observations. Using an Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) estimation model, the findings reveal that market capitalization exerts a positive and significant influence on the relationship between financial performance and stock returns. This suggests that firms with higher market capitalization tend to see a stronger alignment between their financial performance and investor returns, underscoring the value of size and market perception in driving stock price movements.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Operating Costs to Operating Income (BOPO) and, Non Performing Loans (NPL) to Banking Profitability (ROA) . The population that is the object of this research is the public go public banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2020. The number of samples used are 25 publicly listed public banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling with certain criteria, namely banking companies classified as public banks going public and maximum at the beginning of 2016 were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, as well as banks that had published their financial statements in 2016-2020. The method used in this study is to use multiple regression analysis with hypothesis testing, namely t test and F test. Before using multiple regression analysis, the classical assumption test is done first. Based on the results of partial hypothesis testing (t test) on commercial banks going public shows that the variables CAR, NPL, BOPO, NIM, and have a significant effect on bank profitability. While the BOPO variable is not significant for bank profitability. The adjusted R2 value in the bank go public regression model is 0.328. This shows that the influence of independent variables, namely CAR, LDR, NIM, BOPO and NPL on the dependent variable (ROA) of 32.8% while the remaining 67.2% is influenced by other factors. In addition, the value of R2 is 0.328. If the value of R2 gets closer to 1, the independent variables (CAR, NPL, BOPO, LDR, NIM, and Share of Credit) are more influential in explaining the dependent variable (ROA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Capital Adequacy Ratio(CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Biaya Operasional terhadap Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO) dan , Non Performing Loan (NPL)terhadap Profitabilitas Perbankan (ROA). Populasi yang menjadi obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah bank umum go public yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode tahun 2016-2020. Jumlah sample yang digunakan adalah 25 bank umum go public yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sampel penelitian diambil secara purposive sampling dengan kriteria tertentu yaitu perusahaan perbankan yang tergolong dalam bank umum go public dan makmimal pada awal tahun 2013 telah terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia, serta bank yang telah mempublikasikan laporan keuangannya pada tahun 2013-2017. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan uji hipotesis yaitu uji t dan uji F. Sebelum menggunakan analisis regresi berganda, dilakukan uji asumsi klasik terlebih dahulu. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis secara parsial (uji t) pada bank umum go public menunjukkan bahwa variabel CAR, NPL, BOPO, NIM, dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas perbankan. Sedangkan variabel BOPO tidak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas perbankan. Nilai adjusted R2 dalam model regresi bank go public diperoleh sebesar 0,328. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa besar pengaruh variabel independent yaitu CAR, LDR, NIM, BOPO dan NPL terhadap variabel dependent (ROA) sebesar 32,8% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 67,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Selain itu nilai R2 adalah 0,328. Jika nilai R2 semakin mendekati 1 maka variabel- variabel bebas (CAR, NPL, BOPO, LDR, NIM, dan Pangsa Kredit) semakin kuat pengaruhnya dalam menjelaskan variabel terikat (ROA).

Abstract

Digital marketing offers many advantages such as wider reach, lower costs, and the ability to monitor and measure results in real time. This is becoming crucial for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that often have limited resources and budgets. Padang City, as one of the major cities in Indonesia, has many UMKMs that play an important role in the local economy. The study aims to compare the effectiveness of the three major digital marketing strategies Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok in the context of UMKM in Padang City, as well as to see how each of these strategies influence sales growth. This research uses the One Way Anova method to analyze the data collected through surveys against UMKMs who are active using digital marketing strategies in Koto Tangah Kota Padang district. Research results show that there are significant differences in the effectiveness of these three digital marketing strategies in increasing sales of UMKM products in Padang City. Abstract

This study aims to empirically prove the effect of entrepreneurial orientation and government support on culinary MSME business performance in Padang City. In addition, this research also aims to prove the role of government support to strengthen the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and culinary MSME business performance in Padang City. In this research, as many as 120 culinary actors managed by gen Z or business actors aged between 16 and 23 years were used at this time. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires. The data analysis method used is quantitative by using path analysis. The results of testing the hypothesis found that entrepreneurial orientation will encourage increased culinary MSME business performance managed by gen Z in Padang City. The research results obtained also found that government support in the form of financial or non-financial has a strong influence on the performance of micro business businesses managed by gen Z in Padang City. Another finding obtained through our research is that government support moderates the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance. These findings show that the implementation of an entrepreneurial orientation will be carried out and on target if it gets financial or non-financial support from the government so that it can encourage increased business performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of financial technology (Fintech) on the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Banda Aceh City. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model is used as the theoretical framework in this study. The variables studied include performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions. The research method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 150 MSME actors in Banda Aceh. The results showed that performance expectancy and facilitating conditions positively and significantly affected MSMEs' use of fintech. However, effort expectancy had a negative and insignificant impact on fintech utilization. Social Influence had a positive but insignificant effect on the use of fintech. Fintech had a positive and significant impact on the performance of MSMEs. This research implies that the government needs to improve facilities and technological support for MSMEs and provide more intensive training and education related to fintech utilization to improve MSME performance. This study also suggests that future researchers can consider other variables that may affect the use of fintech by MSMEs.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memperoleh rumusan hasil penelitian melalui proses mencari, menemukan, mengembangkan dan menguji pengetahuan. Selain itu, penelitian digunakan untuk memecahkan atau memecahkan masalah yang ada. Dalam penelitian ini, untuk menguji pengaruh ukuran dewan komisaris, komisaris independen dan kepemilikan institusional terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan untuk menguji pengaruh pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan terhadap hubungan antara nilai perusahaan real estate dan real estate pada variabel ukuran dewan perantara, komisaris independen dan kepemilikan institusional. Abstract

Academic Entrepreneurship is an entrepreneurial activity conducted by scientists/academics who market their research results commercially to achieve specific economic benefits or rewards. This research focuses on academic entrepreneurship that occurs at Andalas University. There is still a lack of academics whose research products for commercialization are about 22.73%. It is because there are factors that influence academic entrepreneurship activities at Andalas University. One of them is the internal academic factor. The internal factors are Control System, Organizational Culture, Human Resource Management System, Organizational Structure, and Academic Leadership Behavior. The purpose of this study is to analyze the university's internal factors on academic entrepreneurship. This research uses a quantitative approach derived from 106 Andalas University academics with Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) methods with SmartPLS Software. The result obtained in this study is that the control system exerts a positive and negative influence on academic entrepreneurship. In contrast, other factors have a significant positive influence on academic entrepreneurship. The research results show that the university's control system, organizational structure, and human resources had no significant positive effect on academics at Andalas University. Meanwhile, entrepreneurial behavior and organizational culture have a significant positive effect on academic entrepreneurship at Andalas University. Further research should be analyzed for all universities with innovative products and are ready for commercialization throughout Indonesia. This research is still a case study and needs to be developed.
