Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi internet sangat pesat terutama web. Selain berfungsi sebagai media informasi, web juga dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran misalnya pembelajaran Test Of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL). Tes tersebut merupakan sebuah tes yang mengukur kemampuan bahasa Inggris seseorang. Pada aplikasi ini digunakan jenis TOEFL iBT yaitu TOEFL yang berbasis internet. Tes tersebut terdiri dari empat sesi yaitu Listening, Writing, Reading, dan Speaking. Jenis ujian pun dibagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu Individual Test dan Integrated Test. Aplikasi ini menyediakan sebuah simulasi tes TOEFL iBT layaknya seperti tes yang akan dihadapi dan dapat membantu para mahasiswa untuk melakukan persiapan ujian TOEFL iBT dengan mengerjakan soal-soal yang ada pada aplikasi secara mandiri.

Abstract

SPBU (Stasiun Pengisian Bahan Bakar Umum)Sera KM 25 Sidoarjo membutuhkan suatu sistem yang dapat melakukan pengolahan seluruh data yang berhubungan dengan proses penjualan dan pembelian BBM. Data-data yang saat ini diolah adalah data transaksi penjualan, data transaksi pembelian, data penggajian, data stok barang, data jabatan, data distributor, dan data user. Pengolahan data-data tersebut dalam sistem yang saat ini berjalan dilakukan secara manual yaitu diimplementasikan dalam buku atau arsip. Pengolahan data dengan menggunakan sistem yang saat ini berjalan dirasa kurang efisien dalam hal waktu dan kurang akurat dalam hal informasi yang dihasilkan. Masalah yang terdapat dalam sistem yang saat ini sedang berjalan dapat diselesaikan dengan membangun suatu sistem baru yang lebih efisien dan akurat.Pengembangan Aplikasi Keuangan pada SPBU Sera KM 25 Sidoarjo dibangun dengan menggunakan Visual Studio 2010 danSQL server 2008. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan, sistem yang dibangun dapat menyelesaikan masalah yang ada dalam sistem yang lama.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Logistik Stock Opname memberikan informasi mengenai barang yang terdapat di gudang antara lain jumlah tiap barang dan detail barang berupa merk dan nomor seri barang. Informasi tersebut ditampilkan secara mobile melalui aplikasi yang berbasis sistem operasi Android. Bagian utama proses logistik yang berpengaruh besar pada perusahaan yang menerapkannya adalah stock opname. Stock opname adalah proses menghitung jumlah barang yang ada di gudang dan mencocokkannya dengan catatan pembukuan persediaan. Proses tersebut dipermudah dengan menggunakan QR (Quick Response) Code yang diaplikasikan kedalam sistem operasi Android sehingga proses stock opname tidak lagi dilakukan secara manual. Dalam system ini juga terdapat tampilan web untuk admin yang berguna untuk menampilkan dan mengolah semua data barang termasuk hasil stock opname yang sudah dilakukan. Selain itu, juga disediakan fitur search dan filter data untuk memudahkan pencarian barang dan fitur untuk mencetak laporan dari data tersebut. Terdapat fitur transaksi masuk dan transaksi keluar sebagai proses untuk melakukan pembelian barang dari supplier dan penjualan barang kepada bengkel yang membutuhkan.

Abstract

At the village level, administrative services are the main service and are directly related to the needs of the community. Administrative services can be in the form of issuing certificates, cover letters, letters of recommendation, legalization, and other letters. For administrative services in correspondence, the problems faced by the Karangduren village office regarding the installation of computer networks. Currently, computers that store data and applications for mailing repositories are not yet connected to other computers, resulting in queuing and slow document processing. With these problems, PPM (Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat) activities will be carried out in the form of "Implementation of Computer Network Installation to Support Mailing Repository Applications at the Karangduren Village Office, Kec. Pakisaji, Kab. Malang". Through PPM activities in Karangduren village, Kec. Pakisaji, Kab. Malang is done to help solve problems regarding the installation of computer networks. By installing a computer network at the village office, all computers in the village office can be connected. So with the installation of this computer network, it can improve the service and performance of the Karangduren Village Office in serving the community. The results of this PPM activity will produce a computer network installation design and a basic computer network manual.

Abstract

The increasingly heavier life demands, especially in the economic sector, have encouragedhousewives in Desa Pakisaji, Kabupaten Malang to set up Ron Tuwuh batik tulis business groupand Prohandji Embroidery business group. The batik works are quite good and have begun to bewell-known, especially among government agencies in Kabupaten Malang, as well as theirembroidery works. There have been several steps taken to develop themselves in terms of design,namely by establishing a partnership with the 2019 Partnership PKM team of InformationTechnology Department of State Polytechnic of Malang. They have learned to design usingapplications built and as a result their designs become more up-to-date and the workmanshipbecomes more efficient. In an effort to sustain this program, this year the same team also continuedPKM Partnership by solving other problems faced. From the results of interviews and observationsconducted, it was found that each group had problems in the field of financial recording. Theincome of the batik cloth and the embroidered cloth are still recorded manually so that the financialrecording process of both income and expenditure is ineffective and inefficient. From theseproblems, an Accounting Information System, SAKTIPOL was created which aims to assist bothgroups in the field of financial management. In addition, after the system was designed, this teamthen provided training and assistance in the use of this computer and internet-based application

Abstract

At the village level, there are many obstacles faced by village government officials in their efforts to provide services to the community. One of which is storing official letters that have been issued by the Village Office. So far, official letter storage at the village office was still in the form of hard files (paper) and stacked on storage shelves, without any soft files and filing numbers. With such a letter storage model, as a result, the village office correspondents had difficulty especially in finding the letter if needed. Therefore, a Repository and Archiving System for Data Storage Management of Official Letters was created so as to improve the service and efficiency of the Karangduren Village Office's performance in serving the community. In other words, this PPM (Community Service) activity produced a prototype repository and archiving system application for data storage management for official letters at the Karangduren Village Office, Kec. Pakisaji, Kab. Malang, by involving all members of the PPM team for its implementation. Students were involved in survey activities to analyze system requirements in Karangduren Village, Pakisaji Sub-district, Malang Regency and making application usage modules.

Abstract

Village administration's core lies in directly addressing community needs. However, Karangduren village in Kab. Malang faces challenges due to its reliance on traditional paper-based governance. This leads to recurring difficulties in managing documents. To tackle these issues, the proposed Community Service (PPM) initiative, "Enhancing Village Governance Services in Karangduren Kec. Pakisaji, Kab. Malang through Digitalization and Document Repositories," aims to modernize processes.The initiative seeks to transition to digital methods for streamlined data management. The objective is to establish a comprehensive digital document repository system, simplifying the storage, access, and retrieval of crucial records. By adopting digitization, Karangduren Village aligns with the trend of incorporating information systems into governance practices.The project entails collaboration between the PPM team and students, who will conduct surveys, analyze system requirements, and implement the digital document repository framework within the village government. This effort corresponds with the 2021-2025 PPM Strategic Plan and Focus of the Malang State Polytechnic, emphasizing the revitalization of social and tourism infrastructure through technology, policy models, and research-based social engineering.Embedded in the village development program, this PPM activity contributes to capacity building and knowledge dissemination, reinforcing the partner village through innovative technological solutions.

Abstract

EFL learners at the tertiary level continue to struggle to understand English, especially when speaking. Certain elements become hurdles when students talk. The variables are referred to as foreign language anxiety. This phenomenon was produced by worry that interfered with students' performance: communication apprehension, fear of poor evaluation, and low self-esteem. This study employed a qualitative method with a case study methodology. The data was gathered via a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview with a non-English department student at the State Polytechnic of Malang. The questionnaire was based on Horwitz's foreign-language classroom anxiety scale. The findings of this study revealed that the most important aspects influencing student performance are avoiding mistakes that lead to poor evaluation. Suggestions for learners, that they would be more readily to speak when they get support by the new technology

Abstract

This research is aimed at developing a project-based learning model incorporating prior knowledge activation for teaching writing. Teaching writing is challenging since the skill comprises linguistic and cognitive aspects. Writing is a process of pouring ideas into text which involve cognitive domain; therefore, a model for teaching writing needs to be tailored so that learners can learn writing and improve their skill. This study is a Design and Development research comprising 5 stages namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation (ADDIE). Through analysis, questionnaires were distributed to second grade students of MAN 5 Jombang. Interviews were also conducted with 2 teachers who taught writing to explore needs and problems in teaching writing. Then, design and development of the model was conducted, followed by implementing the model in MAN 5 Jombang. The result of analysis showed that students preferred learning model that involve them actively. In addition, students also stated that learning to write required knowledge regarding topics and other aspect related to writing such as grammar, mechanic and vocabulary. The model developed in this study employed project-based learning incorporating with prior knowledge. Thus, students learned in a project atmosphere, while prior knowledge activation was integrated in each phase to help them retrieve past knowledge and improve their writing. The result of pre and post-test showed that the model successfully improved students’ writing score from 50,39 to 86,21. The questionnaires distributed in evaluation stage revealed that students enjoyed the atmosphere of project-based learning and felt they understood the material better. In conclusion, the model successfully fixed learning atmosphere and improved students’ writing skill.

Abstract

AE Publishing di Kabupaten Malang berkontribusi dalam peningkatan literasi, namun masih menghadapi kendala karena proses penerbitannya yang manual. Masalah utama meliputi efisiensi manajemen yang rendah, kurangnya transparansi royalti real-time, dan promosi digital yang belum optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini mendukung transformasi digital melalui pengembangan sistem informasi terintegrasi dengan pendekatan prototyping partisipatif. Program dilaksanakan dalam enam tahapan terstruktur. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi pengelolaan naskah, percepatan editorial, dan transparansi royalti. Fitur manajemen royalti meraih skor tertinggi 4,5 dari 5, disertai peningkatan jumlah naskah. Sistem terbukti efektif memperkuat kapasitas kelembagaan dan mendukung digitalisasi AE Publishing secara berkelanjutan.
