Abstract

This article was conducted to see how far the religious formation of the converts was obtained. Because as a muslim who is new to Islam, certainly requires a religious formation to make it easier for him to understand the teachings about Islam. It aims to be able to describe how religious formation is carried out by family converts and how the results o religious formation convert to Islam, which is in accordance with Muslims in general. So that this research can be a role model for the community in carrying out religious guidance on converts. This research method uses a qualitative approach with the method of description analysis to find out more about the implementation of religious coaching for several families of convert families. The results of this study show how the process of fostering Islamic religious education carried out by several convert families in several ways and methods to increase the firmness of their faith in Islam. So as to make their faith strong and make a muslim person intact and to avoid their return to their old beliefs.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyses the learning of a soft-based PAI in students of PAI UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung and UIN Wali Songo Semarang. This type of research is descriptive analysis, a research method consists of interviews, observations and polls.  The results of this study showed that the learning of soft-based PAI students can form a high soft skill in the attitude aspects, communication aspects, ethical aspects and learning interaction aspects. The four aspects of the soft skill reinforce each other in forming a positive PAI student personality, so that PAI learning not only forms the hard skills but also establishes a strong soft PAI learning skill. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pembelajaran PAI berbasis soft skill mahasiswa PAI UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung dan UIN Wali Songo Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis, metode penelitian terdiri dari wawancara, observasi dan angket.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pembelajaran PAI berbasis soft skill mahasiswa PAI dapat membentuk soft skill yang tinggi pada aspek sikap, aspek komunikasi, aspek etika dan aspek interaksi belajar. Keempat aspek soft skill tersebut saling menguatkan dalam membentuk kepribadian mahasiswa PAI yang positif, sehingga pembelajaran PAI bukan hanya membentuk hard skill (pengetahuan) tetapi juga membentuk soft skill belajar PAI yang kuat .

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has attacked the fabric of human life. However, activities must continue, including in the field of education. This event is known as the "New Normal". In the educational environment, especially in Islamic boarding schools, there is one problem that arises, namely the lack of stable emotional control of students caused by fear and worry about the COVID-19 virus. This is because they are far from their families and have to start adapting to the new learning system. This study aimed to determine the relationship between remembrance activities and emotional control of the students of the Annida Al-Islamy Islamic Boarding School in the new normal era. In this study, a quantitative approach was used, with the correlational method. Data collection techniques were carried out by giving questionnaires to 60 students, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are: (1) The activity of remembrance at the Annida Al Islamy Islamic Boarding School in the new normal era is categorized as high; (2) The emotional control of students is categorized as strong; (3) The relationship between the two is highly correlated. Pandemi COVID-19 telah menyerang tatanan kehidupan manusia. Akan tetapi, aktivitas harus tetap berjalan, termasuk juga di dalamnya bidang pendidikan. Peristiwa ini dikenal dengan istilah “New Normal”. Dalam lingkungan pendidikan, khususnya di pesantren terdapat salah satu masalah yang timbul yakni kurang stabilnya pengendalian emosi santri yang disebabkan rasa takut dan khawatir terhadap virus COVID-19. Hal ini dikarenakan keadaan mereka yang jauh dari keluarga serta harus mulai beradaptasi dengan sistem pembelajaran baru. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara aktivitas riyadlah zikir dengan Pendidikan pengendalian emosi santri Pondok Pesantren Annida Al-Islamy di era new normal. Pada penelitian ini digunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan angket kepada 60 santri, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah: (1) Aktivitas zikir di Pondok Pesantren Annida Al Islamy pada era new normal berkategori tinggi; (2) Pengendalian emosi santri berkategori kuat ; (3) Hubungan antara keduanya berkorelasi tinggi.

Abstract

The relevance of the material on the tradition of religious (al-Hadis) teachers providers of Islamic Education Department greatly affect the success of education in madrasas. Therefore,material of hadis in the Quran Hadith curriculum MTs should always be the principal teaching materials at the Department of Islamic Education. This study used a qualitative research study in the reality of the curriculum at the Department PAI hadis and curriculum Quran Hadith on MTs. Based on the research that curriculum in the Department of PAI is not merely to prepare professional teachers in the field of study quran hadith, but covers the whole field of study PAI like moral theology, jurisprudence, Islamic history so that not all of the materials at the level of MTs tradition became part of the teaching material PAI majors. However, there is relevance as hadith studies teachers.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze living social phenomena, important study material that becomes an academic attraction, especially when religion is faced with social change and actual problems that must be answered by Islam. PTKIN as a study institution of Islamic education today has received a response from the wider community and has become an interesting social phenomenon to study. The fundamental problem that is the focus of this study relates to the dynamics of the face of Islamic State Islamic Higher Education (PTKIN) in the context of change to the State Islamic University, especially with the inclusion of lecturers from various educational backgrounds, disciplines and diversity of organizations that become new forces at the State Islamic University (UIN). The focus of this study is interesting to study related to the religious views of UIN lecturers which are limited to lecturers who teach religious material in the study area outside the religious groups at three State Islamic Universities (UIN), namely UIN Ar-Raniry Aceh, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, and UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This research is a field research using qualitative methods. To obtain data is done by observation, interviews and documentation. The findings can be concluded that each State Islamic University (UIN) has its own focus and specificity to appear and contribute to developing Islam Rahmatan Lil amin alamin by striving to formalize Islam and revive the Shari'a. Islamic portraits and religious views of the lecturers strongly agree that PTKIN supports the development of Islam which is rahmatan lil alamin and unites the differences of religion and ethnicity. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena sosial yang hidup, bahan studi penting yang menjadi daya tarik akademik, khususnya ketika agama berhadapan dengan perubahan sosial dan masalah aktual yang harus dijawab oleh Islam. PTKIN sebagai lembaga studi pendidikan Islam dewasa ini telah mendapat respon masyarakat luas dan menjadi fenomena sosial yang menarik untuk diteliti. Masalah mendasar yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini terkait bagaimana dinamika wajah keislaman Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) dalam konteks perubahan ke Universitas Islam Negeri terutama dengan masuknya tenaga dosen dari beragam latar belakang pendidikan, disiplin dan keragaman organisasi yang menjadi kekuatan baru di Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN). Fokus penelitian ini menarik untuk diteliti terkait pandangan keagamaan dosen UIN yang dibatasi pada para dosen yang mengajar materi keagamaan pada area studi di luar rumpun agama yang terdapat pada tiga Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN), yaitu UIN Ar-Raniry Aceh, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, dan UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Untuk memperoleh data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil temuan dapat disimpulkan bahwa masing- masing Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) memiliki fokus dan kekhususan tersendiri untuk tampil dan berkontribusi mengembangkan Islam Rahmatan Lil ‘alamin dengan berupaya untuk menformalkan Islam dan menghidupkan syariat. Potret Islam dan pandangan keagamaan dosen sangat setuju bahwa PTKIN menunjang pengembangan Islam yang rahmatan lil alamin dan menyatukan perbedaan agama dan suku bangsa.

Abstract

The development and progress of the times always demands change and innovation, including in the education and learning sector of Islamic Religious Education. The purpose of this study is to discuss theoretically and practical findings about integrated learning, namely innovation learning STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) in Islamic Religious Education subjects. This type of research is qualitative with analytical descriptive approach, uncovering findings and literature study. The findings show that Islamic Religious Education learning at SMAN 5 Bandung in class XII on the Basic Competence of Marriage in Islam, has been carried out using the STREAM approach in four meetings, and collaborates with the subjects of Cultural Arts, Crafts and Entrepreneurship, Sundanese Language, Civics, Biology, Economics-Accounting, and Mathematics. The learning model used is Project Based Learning (PjBL), Role Playing, Time Line of the River of Life and Presentation-Discussion. The products produced are in the form of power point teaching materials, photos and videos of marriage practice simulations with walimah (reception), as well as graphic info on time line planning for life targets until the estimate returns to Allah SWT.

Abstract

ABSTRACTReading the Qur'an is an obligation for Muslims and Muslim women to be studied because the Qur'an is the foundation in understanding Islamic teachings. The most basic thing for students is to be able to read the Koran properly and correctly in accordance with the legal rules of reading the Koran such as recitation and makhorijul letters. However, there are still students who have difficulty reading the Qur'an. Factors that cause students' low ability to read the Qur'an are internal factors from students who are lazy to recite the Koran because they mostly play gadgets and external factors are motivation from weak parents. This study aims to analyze the factors that hinder the ability to read the Koran in grade VII in one of the junior high schools in Garut city. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative by using the Koran reading test as the research instrument. the test results of the ability to read the Qur'an from 40 students who are included in the low category as many as 4 people. Therefore, the role of educators, parents, and the environment will greatly affect the motivation of students in reading the Qur'an.Keyword: Reading the Quran, students, inhibiting factor

Abstract

ABSTRACTFiqih is one of the essential subjects at the Madrasah Aliyah level because it provides an understanding of Islamic Shari'a law.Law is dynamic, therefore, to understand Islamic law, critical and creative thinking is needed. This is due to the growing era and the ever-changing problems of life. The industrial revolution 4.0 is a 21st century world development that demands changes in competence, which is marked by the use of information and communication technology in all aspects of life, including in the learning process. The ability to think critically, solve problems, and collaborate is an important competency in entering the life of the 21st century, requiring the government to improve human resources. Likewise in the world of education, students must be able to solve problems with their critical thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the critical thinking skills of class XI students in one of the madrasah aliyah in the city of Bandung. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative using a test as a research instrument. The results of processing and analysis of this study indicate that students' critical thinking skills are in the moderate category with an average score of 73. Therefore, in the learning process, teachers must always improve the quality of education by facilitating students to develop their critical thinking skills and abilities.Keyword: critical thinking skills, Fiqih

Abstract

Indonesia is a country which not only consists of various tribes, ethnicity, and religions but also established on the multi-cultural element. The plurality, on one hand, is a social strength and a wonderful aspect of diversity if each of those aspects makes synergy and works together to build the nation. On the other hand, the plurality, if it is not managed and nurtured properly, will trigger and ignite conflict and violence that could destabilize the joints of the state and nation. In this case, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) has a strategic role in building a moderate Indonesian Muslim community because NU offers a model of integration, namely the integration of Islam into nationalism. It is the integration of Islamic visions of life into the main objectives of the establishment of nation-states. The idea departs from the principle of al-Ghayah wa al-Wasail (the objectives and the methods) that NU puts the state as an instrument for achieving the goal of Islam. Thus, since the aim of Islam is Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin (welfare of the universe), the state that leads to the goal can be accepted, though not in the form of the Islamic state. NU’s concept in the transformation of education among moderate Muslim society accentuates on the principle of tasamuh (tolerance), tawazun (balance), and i’tidal (just). These three concepts will form the Indonesian Islamic community that is tolerant, peaceful, and Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin for the life of the nation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: the reality of student responses to the application of the habituation program, the reality of students' ability to read the Qur'an, the reality of the relationship between students' responses to the application of the habituation program and their ability to read the Qur'an. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Respondents are students of class VIII at SMPN 1 Cileunyi totaling 50 people. The data collection techniques used are; questionnaires, tests, observations, interviews and document studies. The data analysis techniques used are; partial analysis, normality test, regression test, correlation test and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the study, conclusions were obtained: 1) The reality of student responses to the application of the habituation program was included in the very positive category. the average value is 4.45. This figure is in the interval 4.20 – 5.00 which means it has a very positive category. 2) The reality of students' ability to read the Qur'an is included in the sufficient category. The average value taken is 66.0. This number is in the 60-69 interval which means it has a sufficient category. 3) Reality The relationship between students' responses to the application of the habituation program (Variable X) with their ability to read the Qur'an (Variable Y) is included in a positive and significant correlation. This is based on the Spearman rank correlation test, the results show a value of 0.01% which is in the interval 0.00 0.99, which means it is categorized into a positive correlation. Based on the attached hypothesis test, it can be seen that (-0.01) < (0.279) then is rejected and 0 is accepted. The correlation used follows the linear regression equation model Y= 59.13 + 0.0077. Based on the equation, it can be seen that the (+) sign indicates an increase or increase in students' ability to read the Qur'an. The coefficient of determination reaches 1% and the remaining 99% is influenced by other factors.
