Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Multicultural-Based Character Education Learning Module through the Tidi Lo Polopalo dance in the Nusantara Dance I course at the Department of Dance–Drama–Music Education, Faculty of Arts and Culture, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using Sugiyono’s stages, namely: identifying potentials and problems, data collection, product design, expert validation, design revision, limited try-out, product revision, and broader field implementation. A mixed-methods approach was applied: qualitative methods were used to explore character values and the multicultural context embedded in the Tidi Lo Polopalo dance, while quantitative methods were used to test module effectiveness through descriptive statistics and t-tests (independent and paired). The participants were students enrolled in the Nusantara Dance I course, divided into an experimental group using the module and a control group using conventional teaching materials. The results indicated that the developed module was rated highly valid by content, language, media experts, and cultural practitioners, with average scores above 85%. Practicality testing through lecturer and student questionnaires showed the module was “highly practical” (85–100%). Effectiveness analysis using a paired t-test yielded t = 10.16 > ttable = 2.093 (α = 0.05), indicating a significant improvement between pretest and posttest scores in the experimental group. Descriptively, the average learning outcome increased from 31.5 to 69.9 after module implementation. The module was proven valid, practical, and effective in enhancing students’ understanding of character values (discipline, cooperation, responsibility, religiosity, tolerance) and their multicultural awareness through the local cultural context of Gorontalo. The final product is a contextual dance learning module rooted in local wisdom as an implementation of culture-based character education.

Abstract

Transformasi digital di perguruan tinggi menuntut adanya sistem informasi akademik yang adaptif dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk inovasi, tingkat adaptivitas, serta respons pengguna terhadap Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD) yang dikembangkan di Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi pada SIAKAD meliputi aspek teknologi, fungsionalitas, dan manajemen melalui implementasi arsitektur modular, integrasi lintas sistem, serta mekanisme pembaruan responsif. Adaptivitas sistem tercermin dari kemampuan menyesuaikan fitur layanan terhadap perubahan kebijakan akademik, pola penggunaan, dan kebutuhan pengguna. Evaluasi menggunakan Model Keberhasilan Sistem Informasi DeLone dan McLean menunjukkan bahwa kualitas sistem, informasi, dan layanan berada pada kategori baik, meskipun dukungan teknis dan kesiapan SDM masih perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa inovasi SIAKAD berkontribusi pada peningkatan efisiensi tata kelola akademik, kepuasan pengguna, dan efektivitas layanan digital universitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk medeskripsikan Pola Asuh Orang Tua Dalam Mengembangkan Kecerdasan Emosional Anak Usia Dini di Desa Motolohu Kecamatan Randangan Kabupaten Pohuwato. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh orang tua dalam mengembangkan emosional anak di Desa Motolohu Kecamatan Randangan yakni (1) membimbing dan mengarahkan agar anak dapat mematuhi aturan orang tua memberikan pengertian dan menggunakan komunikasi yang mudah dipahami bagi anak; (2) memberi kesempatan pada anak untuk mengungkapkan perasaaanya. (3) memberikan reward dan pujian ketika anak berbuat baik atau berprestasi. (4) memberikan kesempatan pada anak untuk mengepresikan emosi ketika marah, senang ataupun sedih. Orang tua melibatkan anak dalam kegiatan diluar rumah dan bersosialisasi dengan orang lain, selain itu orang tua menjaga komunikasi yang baik pada anak; (5) orang tua melatih kesabaran anak. Orang tua memberikan aturan, batasan dan berdiskusi untuk segala keinginan anak, dan orang tua mengajarkan untuk lebih bersabar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan program keluarga harapan dalam mendangulangi kemiskinan di Kecamatan Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo dan faktor-faktor apa yang menjadi penghambat PKH dalam menanggulangi kemiskinan di Kecamatan Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa program keluarga harapan sudah berjalan dengan cukup optimal. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari masyarakat sudah merasakan dampak yang cukup positif dengan program ini terlebih mendapatkan pendamping yang mempunyai komitmen dan jujur. Mekanisme pencairan bantuan sesuai dengan SOP yang berlaku. Akan tetapi masih terdapat beberapa hambatan dalam pelaksanaanya yakni ketidak tepatan sasaran penerima manfaat, masih kurangnya, partisipasi dan kerja sama keluarga penerima manfaat dan pendamping PKH serta kurangnya kurangnya sumberdaya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the level of digital literacy among the member of youth organization (commonly called Karang Taruna) of Cicau Hamlet, Gadobangkong Village, Ngamprah Sub-district, West Bandung Regency, West Java Province, Indonesia, focusing on the use of the Internet in the context of community empowerment in the fields of self-development and economy. Case study methodology is employed, with data gathering approaches consisting of in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and observations of fifteen (15) Karang Taruna member informants. The findings of the study indicate that: The youth digital literacy in computer operation and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) abilities in the internet area are fairly strong, but there is still opportunity for improvement through enhancing infrastructure for stable internet connections and educating youth about the most recent ICT advances. When it comes to creating digital products in a variety of formats and models, youth have a low degree of digital literacy. This is due in part to a lack of imagination and creative thinking skills among digital content creators. Youth require continual training to increase their digital literacy and ability to create various types of digital material, which will contribute to the expansion of Indonesia’s creative economy sector. Youth digital literacy must be improved in terms of their ability to collaborate in the digital space, and education about collaboration must be conducted in accordance with digital ethics and security so that the youth of the Indonesian nation can collaborate with respect and remain safe from cybercrime. Youth still lack the digital literacy necessary to pick and filter legitimate and hoax-free content. Digital literacy pertaining to the ability to use digital technology for youth economic empowerment is included in the category of lacking because youth are still not literate and digitally proficient in using digital technology to increase income, raise their economic level through business opportunities in the digital space, and use digital wallets for sales transactions. Youth digital literacy in relation to self-development is also still weak and must be focused to add insight into access to information in the digital realm for career development and self-potential. As well as the usage of communities that are favorable to youth growth and self-healing. This study recommends intensive training and assistance for youth in digital content creation, as well as financial literacy education related to capital management and digital-based creative economy business opportunities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of innovative learning media by teachers at TK Al-Islah Gorontalo and to examine its influence on students' active engagement. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving six informants consisting of one school principal and five classroom teachers. The findings reveal that teachers have applied various innovative media, including digital-based media (thematic videos, interactive PowerPoint, and educational application-based games) and local material-based media (cardboard, used bottles, and flannel teaching aids). These innovations enhanced children's motivation, attention, and active participation. Key supporting factors include school leadership support, available facilities, and teacher collaboration, while challenges involve limited time, insufficient ongoing training, and technical constraints. Innovation diffusion occurs gradually through professional collaboration and best practice sharing among teachers. Overall, the implementation of innovative learning media significantly contributed to improving learning quality and children's active engagement at TK Al-Islah Gorontalo

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan sumber daya masyarakat dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SDN No. 85 Sipatana, Kota Gorontalo. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler merupakan bagian penting dalam pengembangan potensi siswa di luar jam pelajaran formal, dan keberhasilannya sangat dipengaruhi oleh keterlibatan berbagai pihak, termasuk masyarakat sekitar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan masyarakat, baik sebagai pelatih, narasumber, maupun penyedia fasilitas, memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Sumber daya masyarakat yang dimanfaatkan antara lain adalah tokoh masyarakat, orang tua siswa, serta organisasi lokal yang memiliki kompetensi di bidang seni, olahraga, dan keterampilan lainnya. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi antara pihak sekolah dan masyarakat dapat meningkatkan kualitas kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan mendukung pengembangan karakter siswa secara menyeluruh.
