Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study was to find out the application of the implementation of Indonesian language learning based on the Merdeka Curriculum at SMPN 1 Seririt with the evaluation of the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model.Method – This research is qualitative research that uses the CIPP model by evaluating each component of the context, input, process and product to achieve an effective learning process. Sources of research data were Indonesian language teachers, curriculum representatives, and school principals at SMPN 1 Seririt. Data collection using observation instruments, documentation, and interviews. The data is then analyzed by descriptive qualitative.Findings – The study reveals that the context, input, process, and product components in Indonesian language learning at SMPN 1 Seririt are overall good. Context evaluation, covering school profile, teacher preparation, learning activities, observations, and teacher feedback, is rated positively. Input evaluation shows the teaching staff’s educational background (Bachelor's and master’s in education) and material mastery as good, though teachers sometimes overly rely on textbooks. Information technology is used but infrequently, and facilities adequately meet both student and teacher needs. The process evaluation indicates that planning and implementing Indonesian language learning in the Merdeka Curriculum is fairly effective. Product evaluation through formative and summative assessments highlights listening as the most mastered skill, with writing as the least. Research Implications – The findings suggest that the Indonesian language curriculum should be more student-centered and incorporate interactive teaching methods. Enhancements in comprehensive assessment, teacher training, and increased parental and community engagement are essential for improving education quality.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an integrative learning model that combines drama texts in Indonesian language instruction with Social Studies material on local historical events, in order to enhance students' creativity, cultural understanding, and character. The model is designed based on the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes project-based, collaborative, and student-centered learning. The method used is qualitative descriptive, employing a literature review and classroom-based learning design approach. The results of the study show that integrating local history into drama learning encourages students to think critically, express ideas creatively, and understand local cultural values. The learning syntax is developed through the stages of experiencing, conceptualizing, analyzing, producing, networking, applying, comparing, and synthesizing. In addition to improving writing and performance skills, the model also strengthens the Pancasila Student Profile through activities that touch on spiritual, social, and cognitive dimensions. This study concludes that integrative drama learning based on local history is an innovative approach relevant to shaping a creative, reflective, and character-driven generation.

Abstract

This study aims to develop innovative Japanese language learning by utilizing shadowing techniques to improve listening skills in Japanese language center class students. Teaching techniques/methods are essential in improving students' motivation to learn, especially in foreign language learning. The shadowing technique, which integrates audio and visual elements, is applied. This study involved a series of experiments involving students as research subjects, which were then evaluated through listening ability tests before and after using the shadowing technique. The study results showed a significant increase in students' listening skills, as measured by aspects of understanding and response speed to the material presented. The results of the increase in Listening Ability were obtained, and the analysis of the average pre-test score of students was 67, while the average post-test score increased to 80. This result shows a significant increase in the values obtained, indicating that shadowing effectively improves students' listening skills. Student feedback: Based on the questionnaire, 86.5% of students reported that the shadowing technique made them more interested and involved in learning. 90% of students agreed that the learning experience with the shadowing technique helped them understand the Japanese language context better. Moreover, Qualitative Interview: From the interview, students stated that they enjoyed activities that involved listening to dialogues in real situations, such as everyday conversations and cultural contexts. These findings are expected to contribute to developing more effective, interesting Japanese language learning methods, increasing interest in learning Japanese, and encouraging the use of technology in language education.

Abstract

21st-century education requires students not only to understand content but also to be able to think critically and solve problems. Innovation in learning strategies is needed to increase student engagement and understanding. The flipped classroom learning model is here to overcome this. The flipped classroom-based learning model is a student-centered learning model that increases learning effectiveness. Thus, it is necessary to conduct a study on the flipped classroom learning model to improve students' critical thinking skills. This study aimed to determine the results of a literature review study on implementing the flipped classroom model in Indonesian language learning. The SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method was chosen in this study. Data was collected by documenting and reviewing all articles on Indonesian language learning outcomes with the flipped classroom learning model. A total of 10 articles in the last 5 years obtained from Google Scholar and other sources were used in this study. Based on the literature review, there is an increase in students' critical thinking with the application of the flipped classroom model in Indonesian language learning. This is due to supporting factors: using the flipped classroom learning model and interactive learning media. Implementing the flipped classroom learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills in Indonesian language learning. Educators can use this model as a learning innovation to achieve learning objectives quickly.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  kemampuan  menulis  cerpen  siswa  kelas  SMK  Ulil  Albab  NW  Gegek tahun  pelajaran  2024/2025.  Metode  yang  digunakan  dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah  penelitian  deskriptif  kualitatif.  Sumber  data  yang  digunakan  dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah  20  karangan  cerpen  siswa  kelas X DKV SMK  Ulil  Albab  NW  Gegek dan  guru  mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.  Metode  pengumpulan  data  yang  digunakan  dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah  lembar  observasi.  Subjek  penelitian  ini  adalah  siswa  kelas  X  DKV SMK Ulil Albab NW Gegek.  Dari  20  sempel  siswa.  Berdasarkan  hasil  analisis  data  kemampuan  menulis  cerpen  dalam  kualifikasi  baik  sekali  sebanyak  4  siswa  (20%).  Kemampuan  menulis  cerpen  dalam  kualifikasi  baik  sebanyak  6  siswa  (30%).  Kemampuan  menulis  cerpen  dalam  kualifikasi  cukup  sebanyak  8  siswa  (40%).  Kemampuan  menulis  cerpen  dalam  kualifikasi  kurang  sebanyak  2 siswa  (10%).  Dengan  demikian  sesuai  dengan  perhitungan  rata-rata  nilai,  dapat  disimpulkan  bahwa  kemampuan  menulis  cerpen  siswa  kelas X DKV  SMK  Ulil  Albab  NW  Gegek  dengan  nilai  rata-rata  68,2  berkualifikasi  cukup.

Abstract

Penguasaan kosakata teknis perairan merupakan kompetensi penting bagi mahasiswa perikanan dalam mendukung pemahaman literatur, praktik akademik, dan kesiapan kerja di bidang perikanan. Namun, pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Inggris bidang perairan sering menghadapi kendala berupa rendahnya motivasi dan keterlibatan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi game edukasi Baamboozle dalam pembelajaran serta pengaruhnya terhadap penguasaan kosakata teknis perairan mahasiswa perikanan. Penelitian ini adalah studi deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan mixed-method, dimana subjeknya adalah mahasiswa perikanan yang mengikuti mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi pembelajaran, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Baamboozle mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa, membantu pemahaman makna kosakata teknis perairan, serta menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Dengan demikian, Baamboozle dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif yang efektif dalam pembelajaran kosakata teknis perairan berbasis ESP.

Abstract

Di era Revolusi Industri 4.0, literasi tidak lagi sekadar kemampuan membaca teks cetak, melainkan kemampuan menavigasi informasi digital secara kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi integrasi literasi digital dalam pembelajaran membaca di Sekolah Dasar (SD) serta mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka (library research) dengan teknik analisis isi terhadap berbagai literatur terkait pendidikan dasar dan teknologi pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi integrasi literasi digital dapat dilakukan melalui pemanfaatan media baca multimodal (seperti e-book interaktif), penggunaan platform gamifikasi untuk evaluasi membaca, dan penerapan kurasi konten digital oleh guru. Integrasi ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman literal maupun inferensial siswa. Namun, tantangan utama yang ditemukan meliputi kesenjangan infrastruktur digital (digital divide), risiko distraksi pada perangkat elektronik, dan keterbatasan kompetensi pedagogik teknologi guru. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan bahwa integrasi literasi digital harus dibarengi dengan pendampingan guru yang intensif serta penyediaan konten digital yang relevan dengan perkembangan psikologis anak usia sekolah dasar agar proses transisi dari literasi konvensional dapat berjalan optimal.

Abstract

Penggunaan kata ganti orang pertama dan kata sapaan dalam interaksi pembelajaran mencerminkan dinamika relasi sosial antara guru dan siswa yang berlangsung secara kontekstual. Lingkungan sekolah yang dinamis memungkinkan munculnya variasi bahasa yang dipengaruhi oleh peran institusional, kedekatan emosional, dan situasi komunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan kata ganti orang pertama dan kata sapaan dalam tuturan percakapan guru dan siswa di SMP Wisata Sanur serta mengidentifikasi kecenderungan penggunaannya berdasarkan konteks peristiwa tutur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan data berupa tuturan percakapan alami antara guru dan siswa yang dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan, perekaman, pencatatan, dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Analisis dilakukan dengan menjadikan peristiwa tutur sebagai unit analisis serta menggunakan model komponen SPEAKING untuk meninjau indikator konteks komunikasi, terutama pada bentuk yang dominan digunakan dalam interaksi pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat kelompok temuan, yaitu penggunaan kata ganti orang pertama oleh siswa, penggunaan kata ganti orang pertama oleh guru, penggunaan kata sapaan oleh siswa, dan penggunaan kata sapaan oleh guru. Siswa cenderung menggunakan bentuk yang menandai kehati-hatian dan penghormatan, sedangkan guru menunjukkan fleksibilitas yang lebih tinggi sesuai situasi kelas. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pilihan kata ganti dan sapaan merupakan bentuk negosiasi relasi sosial yang dinamis dalam ruang kelas melalui konteks peristiwa tutur.
