Abstract

Keberhasilan perusahaan dalam mencapai tujuan utamanya tidak terlepas dari dukungan dan partisipasi seluruh pegawai untuk bersama-sama memberikan hasil kerja yang terbaik bagi perusahaan. PT. PLN (Persero) UP 3 Medan merupakan salah satu perusahaan BUMN yang bergerak di bidang penyediaan listrik bagi pemenuhan kebutuhan bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Terdapat kesenjangan antara penelitian terdahulu dengan hasil prasurvei yang dilakukan oleh penulis sehingga ini mencerminkan bahwa keberadaan seorang pemimpin di perusahaan mempunyai arti penting diperusahaan apabila dirinya dapat menerapkan sebuah kepemimpinan yang baik dan dapat diterima oleh bawahannya Ketika memberikan perintah atau instruksi pekerjaan yang harus dikerjakan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pegawai yang bekerja di perusahaan pada tahun 2023 sebanyak 135 orang. Pengambilan sampel digunakan sampel sensus, sehingga jumlah sampel sebanyak 135 responden. Teknik yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah dengan cara survei. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Structural Equation Model (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kepemimpinan dan motivasi secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Medan. Kompensasi secara langsung tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Medan. Kepemimpinan, Kompensasi dan Motivasi secara simultan (bersama-sama) tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai pada PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Medan.

Abstract

The problems of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises after Covid-19 include increasing raw material prices, limited human resources, minimal capital, facilities and infrastructure and lack of access to product marketing. Of the many problems that attract the author in this article, access to marketing for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises products needs more attention from business actors or academics. The purpose of this study was to determine the concept of marketing strategies for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Labuhanbatu Selatan Regency and their impact on competitive advantage and purchasing decisions. The research is included in the quantitative descriptive research model and the author sets the sample to 100 respondents who are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises that are scattered in South Labuhanbatu Regency. This research was conducted from September - December 2022. The sample withdrawal technique used a purposive sampling approach. All indicators in this study will be tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) tool from the IBM SPSS AMOS package in hypothesis testing. Based on the analysis and discussion and testing of the research hypothesis, it was found that 33 respondents had used digital marketing including through social media such as fb, ig, tiktok, wa and others. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the marketing strategy variable has the most dominant direct impact on competitive advantage and the competitive advantage variable hypothesis test has a direct impact on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the marketing strategy variable has no direct impact on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Knowledge management is one of the concepts that is currently widely used by organizations, including Higher Education organizations to manage knowledge in order to improve the knowledge and abilities of lecturers comprehensively, so that it will be easier for organizations to make changes in accordance with current demands. This research is an exploratory study on knowledge management and change in higher education organizations. The approach used is qualitative, making it easier to explore thoroughly. To collect data, interviews were used with two key informants who understood knowledge management and change, as well as the leaders.  The results of the study show that higher education service organizations in Medan are less able to manage existing knowledge management with all the resources they have, so they are less able to make the changes needed today to become a quality and superior Higher Education Organization. Therefore, the change to become a quality and superior Higher Education Organization must be the concern of the entire community of Higher Education Organizations in Medan

Abstract

Masalah pengangguran masih menjadi masalah saat ini di Indonesia dan hal tersebut dapat diselesaikan salah satunya dengan berwirausaha. Wirausaha adalah satu dari beberapa cara yang digunakan dalam mengatasi pengangguran, karena proses berwirausaha membantu penyerapan tenaga kerja. Oleh sebab itu sejak kuliah semangat kewirausahaan harus dioptimalkan melalui stimulus pembelajaran sehingga mahasiswa terlatih dan wirausaha jadi pilihan baru mahasiswa sebelum atau setelah selesai kuliah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat berwirausaha pada mahasiswa Universitas Harapan Medan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa yang sudah memiliki proposal bisnis dan mengambil mata kuliah kewirausahaan pada seluruh fakultas di Universitas Harapan Medan pada semester empat yang berjumlah 66 orang responden. Analisis data menggunakan analisis faktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya terdapat dua faktor yang dapat dibentuk dari 8 variabel yang ada. Riset menemukan bahwa dua faktor yang terbentuk tersebut terdiri atas: faktor pertama terdiri atas variabel pengetahuan bisnis, pengetahuan produksi, keterampilan produksi, keterampilan komunikasi, kemampuan komputer, kemampuan manajerial dan motivasi. Sedangkan faktor kedua, yaitu pengalaman pelatihan. Universitas Harapan Medan sebaiknya meningkatkan pelatihan dan seminar dalam meningkatkan minat wirausaha pada mahasiswa.Kata kunci: Minat, Wirausaha, Mahasiswa

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the family environment on entrepreneurial motivation and to determine the partial influence of both the family environment and entrepreneurial motivation on students' interest in entrepreneurship. Additionally, the study explores how the family environment influences students' entrepreneurial interest through entrepreneurial motivation in Medan City. Since the population is not precisely known, the study employs the MOE formula to determine the sample size, resulting in 100 participants. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, and path analysis is applied for data analysis. The study's findings indicate that the family environment The influence of entrepreneurial motivation on students' interest in entrepreneurship is both positive and significant, while the family environment also plays a crucial role, positively impacting both entrepreneurial motivation and students' interest in entrepreneurship through the mediation of entrepreneurial motivation.

Abstract

This study is a causal study with a quantitative approach. This study was conducted at the Medan Palm Oil Research Center (PPKS) with a population that became a saturated sample of 150 employees at the Medan City Palm Oil Research Center. The results of this study indicate that servant leadership has a positive and significant influence on OCB in employees of the Palm Oil Research Center. Servant leadership has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction in employees of the Palm Oil Research Center. Job satisfaction does not affect OCB in employees of the Palm Oil Research Center. And servant leadership does not affect OCB through job satisfaction of employees at the Palm Oil Research Center

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether work stress, communication and work involvement affect employee job satisfaction at Grand Mercure Medan Angkasa Hotel. The research design of multiple linear regression analysis wa used to find out how the influence between the independent variables on the dependent variable was. This research uses quantitative research in the form of associative. The population in this study used a saturated sample, therefore the sample of this study was 115 employees, which included all employees at Grand Mercure Medan Angkasa Hotel. The results of this study indicate that the work stress variable has no significant effect on employee job satisfaction, the communication variable has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction, work involvement has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction, and work stress, communication and work involvement have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at Grand Mercure Medan Angkasa Hotel.

Abstract

This type of research is a type of Casual Associative research, the type of causal associative research (cause and effect) is a study that aims to find out whether there is a relationship between compensation variables, work environment and organizational culture on employee job satisfaction. This research was conducted in one of the companies, namely Halim Fertility Center Medan. The population in this study was 140 employees, but the sample taken was used using the Slovin formula determination with the results of 58 employee samples using the Slovin formula sampling technique. The data source used is primary data. Researchers also collect data by distributing questionnaires as many as 20 questions using Google forms. The results of this study are that the Compensation Variable (X1) partially has a negative and insignificant effect on employee job satisfaction at the Halim Fertility Center Medan. This is known from the results of the partial test (t test) which states that the value of the t-calculation coefficient> t table, 0.925> 1.67155 at a significant 0.359 <0.05. The Work Environment Variable (X2) partially has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the Halim Fertility Center Medan. This is known from the results of the partial test (t test) which states that the value of the t-calculation coefficient> t table, 3.190> 1.67155 at a significant 0.002 <0.05. The Organizational Culture Variable (X3) partially has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the Halim Fertility Center Medan. This is known from the results of the partial test (t-test) which states that the coefficient value of t count> t table, 2.290> 1.67155 at a significant 0.026 <0.05. Then, the results of the study also show that the Compensation Variable (X1), Work Environment (X2), and Organizational Culture (X3) simultaneously affect Employee Job Satisfaction (Y) Halim Fertility Center Medan. (coefficient value F count> F table 67.304> 2.773 at a significant 0.000 <0.05). So the previous hypothesis (H4) is accepted. The correlation is the adjusted R Square correlation figure of 0.777 in this case meaning 77.7% of employee job satisfaction can be obtained and explained by compensation, work environment, and organizational culture. While the remaining 100% - 77.7% = 22.3% is explained by other factors or variables outside the model, such as available facilities, working conditions, communication, job security, etc.

Abstract

Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) adalah tulang punggung dalam menjaga ekonomi kerakyatan yang kerap masih dihadapkan dengan berbagai masalah. Masalah paling lazim dihadapi UKM adalah penjualan yang bermula pada strategi penjualan ataupun pemasaran. Saat ini permasalahan yang dihadapi wirausaha sebagai mitra antara lain rendahnya penjualan, sementara UKM masih belum memiliki scenario atau strategi promosi yang baik, khususnya berbasis online. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut maka disusunlah sebuah pelatihan yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap  UKM dalam menggunakan dunia internet sebagai media penjualan. Pelatihan yang dijalankan menggunakan media daring mengingat kondisi pandemic saat ini. Berdasarkan evaluasi prates dan post tes diketahui bahwa ada perubahan pengetahuan dan sikap UKM terkait penjualan menggunakan media online. UKM harus didampingi oleh keluarga yang berusia lebih muda untuk membantu pemasaran produk secara digital

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of division of labor and work-life balance on work effectiveness, with job sastisfaction as a mediator, on employees of PT Toyota Auto 2000 Medan Amplas. Path analysis research design is used as an analytical tool to determine the direction of the variables studied and see how significant the influence of the independent variable is with the dependent either directly or indirectly through the mediating variable. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. In this study the entire population was sampled, namely 102 employees of PT Toyota Auto 2000 Medan Amplas. The results of this study indicate that division of labor does not have a direct effect on work effectiveness (β=0.006; t=0.070; p=0.944), nor does work-life balance (β=0.116; t=1.841; p>0.05). However, job division significantly affects job satisfaction (β=0.236; t=3.328; p=0.001), and work-life balance has a stronger influence on job satisfaction (β=0.554; t=6.672; p=0.000). Job satisfaction was found to have a significant effect on work effectiveness (β=0.763; t=10.626; p=0.000). Mediation analysis shows that job satisfaction mediates the relationship between work distribution and work effectiveness (β=0.180; t=2.929; p=0.004) and work-life balance and work effectiveness (β=0.423; t=6.487; p=0.001). This research is expected to contribute to the development of more effective human resource management policies and strategies to increase employee job satisfaction and productivity in the automotive industry.
