Abstract

Dalam perspektif Agama Islam manusia dapat dikategorikan menjadi beberapa kelompok. Salah satu aspek yang dapat dijadikan sebagai kategorisasi adalah aspek keimanan manusia terhadap Allah swt. Dalam naskah Jawa Serat Andhaning Gesang terdapat empat tingkatan manuia salah satunya adalah tingkatan kawas atau wali. Penelitian mengenai wali Allah ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui krakteristik wali Allah yang ada dalam naskah Jawa Serat Andhaning Gesang. Subjek utama yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini naskah Jawa Serat Andhaning Gesang. Selain itu juga digunakan sumber lain yang berwujud buku dan jurnal sebagai sumber tambahan. Penelitian ini berbasis studi kepustakaan serta dalam penjabarannya menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjabarkan bahwa terdapat lima karakteristik wali Allah yang terdapat dalam naskah Jawa Serat Andhaning Gesang diantaranya adalah: 1) Wali memiliki keilmuan yang tinggi; 2) Wali memiliki kelebihan; 3) Wali memiliki hati yang bersih; 4) Wali menjadi panutan bagi masyarakat; dan 5) Wali senantiasa diberikan kemudahan dalam hidupnya.

Abstract

Tawhid education, part of Islamic education, has an important position in Javanese society, especially for Muslims. Tawhid education can be obtained in various ways from various sources, one of which is from Serat Ambiya, which is part of Javanese local wisdom. The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the values of tawhid contained in Serat Ambiya. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a philological approach. Data in the form of words, phrases, clauses, or sentences in the text are taken by applying the purposive sampling technique. Data collection used reading and note-taking techniques. Based on data analysis of Serat Ambiya, the values of tauhid education contained therein can be summarized as follows: the acknowledgment of Allah as the Lord of the Universe and Allah as the Creator and Provider (tauhid rububiyah); the rejection of worshiping anything other than Allah, the declaration of tauhid, the prohibition of shirk, and the recitation of the tauhid phrase (tauhid uluhiyah); as well as the establishment of Allah's eternal nature, the call to invoke Allah's name, and the glorification of Allah (tauhid asma wa sifat). Strengthening the value of tawhid through local wisdom is one of the options as part of efforts to strengthen the values of Islamic Education in Javanese society.

Abstract

Enhancing student engagement with fast-track programmes requires an efficient and accurate registration system. This study aims to design and develop a web application to automate this process. Employing a qualitative descriptive methodology, the research first identifies the operational conditions and requirements within the institutional context. The development itself follows the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model. The resulting application significantly improves registration efficiency, minimizes data entry errors, and enhances the user experience for applicants. Key features include an online registration form, automated data verification, a registration status tracker, and a notification system. Furthermore, the application is integrated with the existing academic information system. Consequently, the developed web application presents an effective solution for streamlining the fast-track registration process, thereby improving operational effectiveness and providing superior service to prospective participants.

Abstract

This research aims to prepare the production of multicultural cultural houses to increase UNY's income generation from a creative economy perspective. This effort is expected to support UNY's vision and mission as a world-class university while simultaneously increasing UNY's income generation in the era of PTNBH (State-Owned Legal Entities). The production of multicultural cultural houses is realized through collaboration between study programs within the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FBSB) UNY, utilizing the potential of local language, art, literature, and culture that are marketable as creative economy commodities. This study utilizes the theory of exploratory and collaborative cultural house production development, related to the empowerment of local language, art, literature, and culture. The research method used is qualitative, encompassing heuristic, exploratory, and negotiative approaches, which serve as analytical tools to develop Javanese cultural entrepreneurship packages as a competitive advantage. The results indicate that the production of multicultural cultural houses can be achieved through two steps. First, the development of a pranatacara package that utilizes panyandra practices, which are related to the ethnomathematic concept of spiritual hydrology, is realized through the empowerment of macapat songs in the siraman manten tradition. Second, the empowerment of collaborative elements of language, art, literature, and culture from an ethnobotanical perspective in the Panggih Manten tradition, where panyandra is embodied in the form of parikan (pantun) and macapat songs combined with gending (traditional music). AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menyiapkan produksi rumah budaya multikultural untuk meningkatkan income generating UNY dalam perspektif ekonomi kreatif. Upaya ini diharapkan mampu mendukung visi dan misi UNY sebagai world class university sekaligus meningkatkan income generating UNY di era PTNBH. Produksi rumah budaya multikultural diwujudkan melalui kolaborasi antarprogram studi di lingkungan FBSB UNY, dengan memanfaatkan potensi bahasa, seni, sastra, dan budaya lokal yang layak jual sebagai komoditas ekonomi kreatif. Kajian ini menggunakan teori pengembangan produksi rumah budaya secara eksploratif dan kolaboratif, yang berkaitan dengan pemberdayaan karya bahasa, seni, sastra, dan budaya lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif, mencakup heuristic, eksploratif, dan negosiatif, yang berfungsi sebagai alat analisis untuk menghasilkan paket wirausaha budaya Jawa sebagai keunggulan kompetitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produksi rumah budaya multikultural dapat ditempuh melalui dua hal. Pertama, pembentukan paket pranatacara yang memanfaatkan praktik panyandra, yang terkait dengan konsep etnomatematika hidrologi spiritual, diwujudkan melalui pemberdayaan tembang macapat dalam tradisi siraman manten. Kedua, pemberdayaan unsur kolaborasi bahasa, seni, sastra, dan budaya dalam perspektif etnobotani budaya pada tradisi panggih manten, di mana panyandra diwujudkan dalam bentuk parikan (pantun) dan tembang macapat yang dikolaborasikan dengan gending.

Abstract

Conserved Javanese manuscripts hold a wealth of visual richness and aesthetic value that remains largely unexplored, particularly in the illuminative elements which serve not only as decoration but also as illustrative support to the textual content. This study aims to propose an invitation card design inspired by the illuminations found in ancient manuscripts, as a form of cultural adaptation within the creative industry. The research employs a descriptive-qualitative method and content analysis. The primary object of study is the illumination in the manuscript Serat Jayalengkara Wulang, codex Add MS 12310, housed in the British Library. The adaptation process comprises five stages: (1) selection of illumination elements, (2) redrawing using the Procreate application, (3) stylization for form simplification, (4) layout arrangement for the invitation design, and (5) final rendering for production purposes. The end product is a market-ready digital invitation design, available for e-commerce distribution. This study demonstrates that Javanese manuscript illuminations can be creatively adapted as visual elements that hold both aesthetic and historical value, while also enhancing product appeal within the creative industry. The findings open new possibilities for utilizing intangible cultural heritage, which has traditionally focused more on script than on visual elements such as illumination.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the synthesis of Islamic and Javanese elements in the Serat Wulang Dalem Pakubuwana II (SWDPB II), as found in manuscript Ms. Orient Okt 1224 from the Staatsbibliothek Berlin collection. The research adopts a new historicism approach, which views literary works as inseparable from the historical, social, political, and economic contexts of their time. The data consist of textual excerpts from the manuscript, analyzed to identify manifestations of Islamic-Javanese cultural synthesis. The findings reveal that this synthesis is articulated through the use of terminology drawn from two distinct traditions that are harmoniously juxtaposed, such as Arabic and Javanese scripts, the figures of prophets and kings, and the symbolic pairing of the right and left eyes. Within the textual construction, these elements are interpreted as complementary rather than oppositional. This synthesis reflects an intellectual and spiritual response to the evolving ethical and social dynamics of the 19th century, particularly in the context of the interaction between Islam and Javanese culture within the royal court.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and anylize character building that include in the illuminationthe text of Babad Kartasura-Sokawati. The data collected through content anylisis and photography. Overall, illuminations picture that include in the text of Babad Kartasura-Sokawati contain character building of Javanese people. There are six character buildings that appear from the illumination, there are: 1) leadership value that appeared from the pictures of eagle, peacock, deer, kingdom’s flag, weapons, bridge fence, star, sun, mountain, river, forest, khandhil (oil lantern), leaf lined, lotus, and sunflower; 2) respect and honorable value that appeared from the pictures of eagle, peacock, kingdom’s flag, dhampar (the king’s seat), leaf lined, and sunflower; 3) value of the perfection of life thatappeared from the pictures of khandhil (oil lantern), sunflower, and vines; 4) devotion value that appeared from the pictures of the star and the moon; 5) value to achieve peacefully of the inner and outer that appeared from the pictures of water waves; and 6) noble character value that appeared from the pictures of songsong (gold umbrella), leaf lined, rose, and sunflower. === Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis ajaran budi pekerti di dalam iluminasi teks Babad Kartasura-Sokawati. Data dikumpulkan dengan analisis isi dan dokumentasi. Secara keseluruhan gambar iluminasi yang terdapat dalam teks Babad Kartasura-Sokawati memuat ajaran budi pekerti yang selaras dengan kehidupan masyarakat Jawa. Terdapat enam ajaran budi pekerti yang terdapat dalam gambar iluminasi, yaitu: 1) ajaran tentang kepemimpinan yang tersurat dari gambar burung garuda, burung merak, kijang, umbul-umbul, senjata, pagar jembatan, bintang, matahari, gunung, sungai, hutan, khandhil (lentera minyak), daun yang berjajar, bunga teratai, dan bunga matahari; 2) ajaran saling menghormati dan menghargai yang tersurat dari gambar burung garuda, burung merak, umbul-umbul, pagar jembatan, dhampar (kursi raja), daun yang berjajar, serta bunga mawar; 3) ajaran tentang kesempurnaan hidup yang tersurat dari gambar khandhil (lentera minyak), bunga matahari, dan tumbuhan sulur; 4) ajaran ketaqwaan yang terdapat dalam gambar bintang dan bulan sabit; 5) ajaran untuk meraih ketentraman lahir dan batin yang tampak pada gambar gelombang air; serta 6) ajaran berpekerti luhur yang tampak dari gambar songsong (payung emas), daun yang berjajar, bunga mawar, dan bunga matahari.
