Abstract

This article discusses the application of teaching materials to a BIPA (Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers) teaching, especially in reading skills through a culturally charged audiovisual learning medium. The purpose of this study was to explain teaching materials delivered in culturally charged audiovisual media at the basic level of BIPA teaching with short story writing skills. Audiovisual media pages also accommodate the needs of online BIPA learning. This audiovisual media can be in the form of dialogue videos and explanation videos, as well as supporting media in the form of materials or handbooks. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The reference source used here is in the form of the BIPA AI guidebook "Sahabatku Indonesia" published by the Language Agency of the Ministry of Education and Culture. The technique for checking the validity of the data in this study used a method triangulation technique by checking the understanding of lecturers and students on the use of audiovisual media containing Indonesian culture in short story writing skills. The conclusion of this study is that BIPA teaching materials, especially writing skills, use audiovisual media with Indonesian culture in short story writing skills at the basic level. This teaching material is quite helpful in providing a breakthrough and can make it easier for BIPA students to understand the material presented as well as being able to introduce cultures in Indonesia. Thus, it is hoped that with this media it can be used as a source of inspiration in further, more complete research. and innovative.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the need for multisensory books in the context of early childhood literacy learning. The research method involved a survey and interviews with early childhood teachers. The results analysis showed that multisensory books play an important role in motivating children to learn to read, increasing their engagement, and accelerating the learning process. Factors such as sensory diversity, children's interest in the story, and positive responses to sensory stimuli affect the effectiveness of multisensory books. Although a small proportion of teachers experienced obstacles, the majority did not face obstacles in introducing children's reading literacy with multisensory books. Meskipun sebagian kecil guru mengalami kendala, mayoritas tidak menghadapi kendala dalam mengenalkan literasi baca anak dengan buku multisensori. Kesadaran akan pentingnya variasi dalam buku bacaan menjadi hal yang sangat penting dalam mendukung pengembangan literasi anak usia dini. Abstract

Teaching materials are needed as learning resources that should be adapted based on students’ conditions. The contextual approach is a suitable approach to meet the needs of students in learning in order the improvement of learning outcomes can be carried out. Appreciation of poetry as a course in the department of Indonesian language and literature education requires development to obtain learning outcomes and adjustments on student conditions and the times. The development of such a theory has led this research to develop the design of teaching materials as an intellectual framework and the basis of reference from teaching materials for poetry appreciation. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive methods to define needs from the point of view of students, lecturers, and experts in the field of poetry appreciation. The results of the study showed the need in terms of content and strengthening the theory. In the elements of the book, the graphics and the appearance or layout are important to attract interest. Supporting elements such as short and long videos and expert opinions are needed by students. Laboratory facilities and art spaces are representative places to apply more contextual learning. This research is prepared for the need of development and for other researchers who need analysis and framework of teaching materials from the book elements, learning outcomes, and supporting components.

Abstract

Recently, researchers have witnessed an alarming phenomenon related to the violation of language politeness among students. This study aims to describe the map of students' language impoliteness in Indonesia. The research data is in the form of students' speech. The focus of this research is unmannerly speech which is studied by phenomenological study by using Culpeper's impoliteness strategy. The phenomenological steps taken are observation of the phenomenon of impoliteness, formulating problems, collecting data, analyzing data, and preparing reports. The research findings show that students use three politeness violation strategies, namely direct politeness violation, positive politeness violation, and negative politeness violation. The phenomenon found is the strategy of impoliteness by using four forms, namely delivering impolite speech directly, speech uttered based on consideration of the interlocutor, considering the location, and the situation of the conversation between the speaker and the interlocutor. This research can contribute to education, especially for teachers to always educate and guide students to speak politely. With a better understanding of the phenomenon of violations of students' language politeness, it is hoped that appropriate preventive and intervention measures can be taken to minimize the forms of language impoliteness that can be carried out by a teacher or parent.

Abstract

Currently, BIPA learning material which includes grammar, language skills and culture is delivered in an integrative manner, but the learning activities in it have not fully provided a way for foreign students to be able to communicate in Indonesian properly. The appropriateness of this communication can be achieved based on the context, society and culture of Indonesia. Because of this gap, BIPA students will experience communication barriers because there are differences between the Indonesian language learned in the classroom and the use of Indonesian in society. Apart from that, cross-cultural understanding has not been well established because the use of cultural and literary topics as language arts which can be an effective means of improving mastery of Indonesian language skills is not yet optimal. Based on this situation, this research focuses on developing a BIPA teaching material model based on Indonesian culture and literature by integrating the 5C aspects, namely communication, culture, connections, comparison, and communities. By integrating these five aspects in teaching materials for listening, speaking, reading, writing and grammar, foreign students can master Indonesian language competencies better and more comprehensively. These five aspects are covered in topics and discussions using various topics related to Indonesian culture and literature. The teaching material model developed will focus on the advanced level or BIPA 7.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Teknologi dalam bidang pendidikan dimanfaatkan oleh guru sebagai media untuk membuat materi ajar menjadi lebih menarik dan efektif sehingga dapat menarik perhatian siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Namun pada kenyataannya, guru belum memanfaatkan teknologi dalam membuat media pembelajaran secara optimal karena belum memiliki kemampuan untuk mengembangkan bahan pembelajaran berbasis TIK. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan materi ajar ejaan berbasis aplikasi Cerbasia menggunakan iSpring suite 10 pada siswa kelas VII. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Development). Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data diperoleh melalui obervasi, wawancara, dan angket. Teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengujian kelayakan produk diuji oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan tanggapan guru bahasa Indonesia, serta tanggapan peserta didik kelas VII SMP Diponegoro 1 Jakarta. Hasil penelitian ini berupa materi ajar ejaan berbasis aplikasi Cerbasia menggunakan iSpring Suite 10 pada siswa kelas VII yang dapat diakses menggunakan gawai atau perangkat komputer yang terhubung dengan internet. Kelayakan produk materi ajar ejaan berbasis aplikasi Cerbasia menggunakan iSpring Suite 10 pada siswa kelas VII termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil penilaian ahli materi mendapatkan skor rata-rata 4,5. Sementara itu, penilaian ahli media mendapatkan skor rata-rata 4,5. Selanjutnya, aspek yang diperoleh dari uji coba kelayakan guru bahasa Indonesia mendapatkan skor 5. Serta uji coba kelompok kecil oleh peserta didik mendapatkan skor rata-rata 9,7. Berdasarkan penilaian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa materi ajar ejaan berbasis aplikasi Cerbasia menggunakan iSpring Suite 10 pada siswa kelas VII sangat layak untuk proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah merancang program pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing (BIPA) di desa sebagai upaya internasionalisasi bahasa Indonesia untuk mewujudkan Indonesia emas tahun 2045 serta mendukung Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), terutama pada poin 4 (pendidikan yang berkualitas) dan poin 9 (infrastruktur, industri, dan inovasi). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program Desa BIPA merupakan program yang inovatif, futuristik, dan berdampak sistemik melalui pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman langsung di desa untuk meningkatkan pemahaman lintas budaya warga negara asing melalui penerapan konsep ICARE (Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, dan Extension). Desa BIPA juga memiliki beberapa sub program, di antaranya Inkubator Bahasa Indonesia, Jelajah Budaya Nusantara, Program Magang dan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Asisten Pengajar BIPA di Satuan Pendidikan, dan Pergelaran Seni Budaya Desa (Persebud) yang melibatkan kolaborasi lintas sektor untuk mewujudkan visi Indonesia emas tahun 2045. KATA KUNCI: Desa BIPA; internasionalisasi bahasa Indonesia; Indonesia emas 2045.
