Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the influence of various regional income types (PAD, DAU, DBH, and Non-Physical DAK) on capital expenditure allocation across districts/cities in Riau Province. This study uses secondary data, including DAU, PAD, Non-Physical DAK, DBH, and Capital Expenditure, from BPKAD and the Directorate General of Treasury of Riau Province. Data collection uses documentation from the websites of the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance, BPKAD, and the Directorate General of Treasury of Riau Province. The development of various types of income across districts/cities in Riau Province showed a positive trend during the study period, with DBH making a significant contribution, reflecting the region's rich natural resources. The trend and growth of capital expenditure in district/city governments in Riau Province fluctuated but generally increased. However, its proportion to total regional spending is still relatively low. DBH has the most significant influence on capital expenditure in districts/cities in Riau Province, followed by DAU, PAD, and Non-Physical DAK (not significant). The high impact of DBH and DAU on capital expenditure indicates a high fiscal dependence of regional governments on central government transfers for financing infrastructure development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of production factors (working capital, labor, raw materials, and technology) on the production output of small food industries and to analyze the role of small food industries in regional development in Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City. The research method used a quantitative approach with Cobb-Douglas multiple regression analysis to answer the first objective, while the second objective was analyzed using the Location Quotient (LQ) and multiplier effect methods. The research population consisted of 138 small food industry units in Tuah Madani District. A sample of 58 businesses was selected using the Slovin formula with a significance level of 10% and purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the four production factors simultaneously had a significant effect on production output with an F-value of 386.502 and a significance level of 0.000. The regression model formed had excellent predictive power with an R² value of 96.7%, meaning that 96.7% of the variation in production output could be explained by the variables of working capital, labor, raw materials, and technology. Partially, raw materials have the most significant influence with a coefficient of 0.635 and a t-value of 7.515, followed by technology with a coefficient of 0.139 and a t-value of 3.841. The Location Quotient analysis shows a value of 2.54, indicating that the small food industry is a base sector in Tuah Madani District. The multiplier effect analysis produced a value of 4 for the income multiplier and employment multiplier, indicating a significant multiplier effect on the regional economy. Small-scale food industries have proven to play an important role in regional development through the absorption of local labor (70.7% of whom are women), increased community income, and the creation of an economic multiplier effect that influences other economic sectors

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of simultaneouslyeconomic growth, wages, and population growth on employment opportunities in Riau Province. The populationthat will be taken in this study is data collected and taken through BPS data of Riau Province. In this case, the sample is taken as a sample, namely the last 10 years from 2011 - 2020. The method used in sampling this research is Purposive Sampling, namely the technique of determining thesample. with certain considerations or criteria.From the results of R Square (coefficient of determination) that is equal to53% while the rest is influenced by other variables outside the variables in thisstudy. Simultaneously, it is known that Fcount < Ftable is 1.792 < 4.76 and thesignificant level is 0.249> 0.05. This indicates that simultaneously the variables ofeconomic growth, wages, and population growth do not have a significant effecton employment opportunities in Riau province during the 2011-2020 period. Theresults of the correlation test show that the Wage and Employment Opportunityvariable has a negative relationship value with a correlation value of -0.523because it is in the coefficient interval of 0.00-0.199. Weaknesses in this study are limitations in the variables studied, which are partly explained by variables that are not included in the study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Domestic Direct Investment (PMDN) on the economic growth of Pekanbaru City from 2016 to 2025. Fluctuations in the realization of FDI and PMDN, which do not always align with economic growth, are the background to this research. The quantitative approach used was multiple linear regression, using secondary time series data processed using EViews 12 software. The results indicate that FDI partially has no significant effect on economic growth, while PMDN has a positive and significant effect. Meanwhile, both FDI and PMDN simultaneously have a significant effect on economic growth. The Adjusted R-Squared value of 0.804 indicates that 80.43% of the variation in economic growth can be explained by the two independent variables in the research model. This finding indicates that domestic investment plays a more dominant role than foreign investment in driving Pekanbaru City's economic growth.

Abstract

Transportation infrastructure development, particularly toll roads, plays an important role in promoting regional economic growth. This study aims to analyze the impact of the construction of the Pekanbaru–Dumai Toll Road and the Pekanbaru–Bangkinang Toll Road on the growth of hinterland regions in Siak Regency, Dumai City, and Kampar Regency based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at Constant Prices. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a secondary data approach and trend analysis. The results show that the Pekanbaru–Dumai Toll Road has had a positive impact on economic growth through improved connectivity, distribution efficiency, and the strengthening of the trade and transportation sectors. Meanwhile, the Pekanbaru–Bangkinang Toll Road has shown relatively stable growth without significant changes. In general, toll road development has improved regional connectivity and supported economic growth, although the impact has not been evenly distributed and has been influenced by external factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi kebijakan desentralisasi fiskal dan implikasinya terhadap kemandirian keuangan daerah di Provinsi Riau periode 2017–2025. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kuantitatif berbasis rasio Derajat Desentralisasi Fiskal (DDF) — diukur melalui perbandingan PAD terhadap total pendapatan daerah — penelitian mengidentifikasi tiga fase struktural: fase ketergantungan fiskal (2017–2020) dengan rata-rata share PAD 41,24%; fase transisi dan penguatan kapasitas (2021–2024) dengan puncak share PAD 58,54% di 2023; serta fase ketidakstabilan struktural (2025) ketika PAD turun drastis 21,86% ke share 51,19%. Temuan mengkonfirmasi tiga paradoks sekaligus: paradoks desentralisasi, kutukan sumber daya alam, dan flypaper effect. Penelitian merekomendasikan diversifikasi basis pajak non-SDA, akselerasi reformasi perpajakan digital, reorientasi belanja daerah ke investasi produktif, dan pembangunan sistem peringatan dini fiskal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi finansial Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) terhadap Pendapatan Asli Desa (PADes) dan dinamika pengembangan ekonomi desa di Kepenghuluan Pematang Sikat, Kecamatan Rimba Melintang, Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan analisis rasio kontribusi dan analisis pertumbuhan PADes. Data diperoleh dari laporan keuangan BUMDes dan PADes periode 2018–2025, serta wawancara dengan Ketua BUMDes dan Penghulu Desa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi BUMDes terhadap PADes berada pada kisaran 29,7% hingga 32,3% dengan rata-rata sekitar 31%, termasuk kategori baik. PADes desa menunjukkan tren meningkat dari Rp24.850.000 (2018) menjadi Rp45.760.000 (2025), meskipun sempat menurun pada tahun 2020 akibat pandemi COVID-19. BUMDes berperan sebagai instrumen pembangunan endogen yang mendukung kemandirian fiskal desa secara bertahap melalui unit usaha elektronik dan simpan pinjam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh produk domestik regional bruto, nilai tukar dan inflasi terhadap penanaman modal asing di Kota Pekanbaru tahun 2005-2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel independen yang terdiri dari PDRB, nilai tukar dan inflasi, dengan variabel dependen yaitu penanaman modal asing (PMA) di Kota Pekanbaru. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dari tahun 2005-2024. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan dianalisis secara parsial maupun simultan dengan regresi linier berganda yang diolah menggunakan SPSS. Dari hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa PDRB, nilai tukar dan inflasi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penanaman modal asing di Kota Pekanbaru. Sedangkan secara parsial PDRB tidak berpengaruh terhadap penanaman modal asing di Kota Pekanbaru, nilai tukar berpengaruh positif terhadap penanaman modal asing di Kota Pekanbaru dan inflasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap penanaman modal asing di Kota Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This research analyzes the dynamics of Indragiri Hulu Regency's financial balance sheet for 2019-2024 and its regional development implications. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach to examine trends, composition, and economic performance based on solvency ratios and fiscal independence. The results show a shift in asset structure from liquid to illiquid assets, with fixed assets reaching 90.05% by 2024. Significant decreases occurred in current assets by 48.22% (2024) and cash equivalents by 85.95% (2024). Solvency ratios are excellent, with a debt-to-asset ratio below 1% and no long-term liabilities, but fiscal independence remains low (8.2%-11.5%). The Local Revenue Effectiveness Ratio is considered adequate (101.2%), while the financial efficiency ratio is less efficient (100.8%). The research recommends strengthening cash management, adopting asset performance management, reforming receivables management, diversifying revenue, and developing innovative financing strategies to enhance fiscal sustainability and support regional development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berlatarkan pada tingginya alih fungsi lahan perkebunan sawit dan karet menjadi lahan tambang emas oleh masyarakat. Alih fingsi ini kalau tidak diantisipasi dengan baik akan berdampak pada perekonomian masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa tentang Dampak Alih Fungsi Lahan Terhadap Tingkat Pendapatan Masyarakat Di Kecamatan Sentajo Raya Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 57 orang masyarakat yang melakukan alih fungsi lahan. Adapun variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah pendapatan pokok, pendapatan tambahan, dan pendapatan lainnya. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan model penelitian analisis uji beda, untuk menganalisis data penulis menggunakan program SPSS 23.00 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara pendapatan pokok, pendapatan tambahan maupun pendapatan lainnya sebelum dan sesudah alih fungsi lahan. Artinya alih fungsi lahan berdampak pada pendapatan masyarakat di Kecamatan Sentajo raya. Oleh karena itu, pemerintah dan masyarakat harus lebih bijak lagi dalam menggunakan uang hasil alih fungsi lahan, agar uang hasil alih fungsi lahan tersebut dapat meningkatkan taraf perekonomian masyarakat
