Abstract

The study of fiqh is indeed a very vital material. Because this is related to how Islamic law is carried out. Especially about the worship of mahdhah, therefore every Muslim is obliged to learn to understand it so that at the level of implementation it can run well by religious orders. This service activity was carried out at the At-Taqwa taklim assembly in the hamlet of Lestari Jaya which was the location of the KKL of STAI Sangatta East Kutai students related to strengthening and mentoring religious fiqh. In its implementation, of course, there is planning, implementation, and evaluation that must be considered in compiling and implementing a program. The result of this activity is an increase in the knowledge of the members of the taklim assembly related to ablution, obligatory bathing, and prayer. The enthusiasm of the assisted participants also showed a positive attitude so in this activity it is necessary to follow up with similar activities by discussing other topics.

Abstract

Religiosity is a condition in an individual that encourages him to behave according to the level of his desire for religion. Thus, it is not impossible or very possible, that a person's religion or diversity will determine his attitude, not for students whose main task is learning. The higher understanding and knowledge of religion or religion will show a tendency to pay more attention to positive things. This article aims to measure the level of religiosity of students in SMA Negeri 1 Sangkulirang. The technique used to analyze the data in this study is a quantitative descriptive technique. This means that the average student religiosity of SMA Negeri 1 Sangkulirang is calculated through a frequency distribution table to determine the level/quality of each aspect of the dimension of student religiosity which includes the dimensions of ideology, ritual, practice, consequences, and intellectual dimensions. The results of the calculation of the average value of religiosity through the SPSS program, it is known that the lowest student religiosity value in SMA Negeri 1 Sangkulirang is 32.45, the highest value is 63.12, while the range of values ​​is 30.67. From the column of religiosity level, it is known that the average value is 49.999. After being consulted with the table of criteria for the level of religiosity, it appears that the average is in the interval of 47.79-55.44 with the "high" category. Thus it can be said that the level of religiosity of students at SMA Negeri 1 Sangkulirang is in the "high" category with an average of 49.999 on a scale of 47.79-55.44. A person's level of religiosity certainly varies according to the religious experience he goes through, and the factors that influence it are very diverse ranging from personal experience, family factors, playmates, education, economy, and so on.

Abstract

Dewasa ini mahasiswa banyak mendapatkan tantangan dalam hal penulisan artikel ilmiah berbasis online (open journal system). Hal ini belum pernah dilakukan di masa sebelumnya mengingat perkembangan zaman, teknologi dan informasi belum secanggih saat ini. Jika di masa sebelumnya publikasi ilmiah masih berupa cetak, namun sekarang sudah beralih ke versi online. Oleh karena itu, untuk membekali mahasiswa menghadapi tuntutan zaman yang semakin kompetitif ini, pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk tujuan mulia tersebut. Melalui pendekatan participatory action research, pengabdian ini dilakukan secara langsung dan terbuka menggunakan metode ceramah, serta tanya jawab dan penugasan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta workshop yang sebelumnya belum mengenal apa itu google scholar, mendeley, open journal system dan lain sebagainya tentang perangkat penulisan artikel ilmiah. Maka setelah dilakukan workshop dan pendampingan akhirnya terkumpulah 10 artikel yang dikerjakan secara individu dan kelompok. Bahkan ketiganya sudah ada yang submit ke salah satu jurnal yang open access.

Abstract

In various sources of historical books it is said that the Abbasiyah dynasty was the peak of the heyday of Islamic civilization. This article, it aims to describe the Islamic educational institutions at that time which indirectly supported the progress of the Abbasiyah dynasty to reach its peak. This type of research is qualitative research, and is included in the category of library research. The data collection technique uses discourse analysis from books, journal articles, magazines, or other information related to the study of Islamic educational institutions during the Abbasiyah dynasty. Than, the writing of this article was analyzed using the Milles and Huberman analysis model, with the flow of data reduction, data preparation and conclusion drawing. The results of the research in this article can be seen from the form and nature of education. Islamic educational institutions that existed during the Abbasiyah dynasty can be categorized into 3 types. Which consists of informal educational institutions; such as the houses of the scholars', non-formal educational institutions; such as Kutab, mosque, qurhur, bookstore, observatory, literary salun, library, ribath and zawiyah and formal educational institutions, for example, madrasas. A lot of educational institutions that exist shows that this is in accordance with the belief in Islam which requires studying and is considered a form of worship. Therefore the place to study is very diverse, not only focused on a particular place.

Abstract

Pesantren merupakan sebuah lembaga pendidikan Islam yang mampu bertahan dari terpaan badai perubahan dan era globalisasi yang telah terjadi, sehingga sampai saat ini dapat survive, masih konsisten bertahan dengan segala disiplin keilmuannya dan ciri khas lainnya. Eksistensi pesantren yang dari kemunculannya hingga dewasa ini tentulah ada hubungannya dengan kepemimpinan di dalamnya. Dalam pengelolaan pesantren membutuhkan sebuah pola atau gaya kepemimpinan dari seorang tokoh sentral kiai itu sendiri untuk mengembangkan pesantrennya. Bagaimana sebuah pesantren akan selalu berdiri kokoh di tengah pergumulan persaingan dunia yang semakin kompetitif ini, maka di dalam kepemimpinannyalah semua dapat dikelola dan ditentukan. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis gaya kepemimpinan KH. Masbuhin Faqih di pondok pesantren Mambaus Sholihin Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KH. Masbuhin Faqih merupakan salah seorang pemimpin yang kharismatik, demokratis dan dalam keadaan tertentu dapat menjadi seorang yang otoriter. Tiap-tiap kiai, penulis meyakini bahwa di dalam kepemimpinannya pasti berbeda satu sama lain. Hal ini bisa dipengaruhi oleh faktor genealogi, kepribadian, pendidikan, lingkungan, geografi dan lain sebagainya.

Abstract

Pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi mendeley dan Turnitin merupakan kegiatan yang sangat penting dan strategis bagi kalangan akademisi, terutama kepada mahasiswa, karena hal tersebut dapat memberikan informasi terkait dengan peningkatan kualitas karya ilmiah mahasiswa dan terhindar dari perilaku plagiarism yang semakin marak terjadi. Melihat laju perkembangan teknologi mahasiswa dituntut untuk aktif dalam menyesuaikan kebutuhan yang akan digunakan dalam meningkatkan kualitas karya ilmiahnya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan Di STAI Sangatta yang berkaitan penggunaan aplikasi mendeley dan Turnitin dalam meningkatkan kulitas karya ilmiah mahasiswa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dimulai dari proses perencanaan kegiatan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi dalam menyusun dan menjalankan program. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) dimana penulis terlibat langsung dalam proses pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan wawasan pemikiran dan pemahaman mahasiswa dalam menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley sebagai alat untuk mengelola manajemen referensi, membuat kutipan, dan memasukkan daftar Pustaka. Pelatihan ini juga memberikan pemahaman kepada mahasiswa dalam menggunakan Turnitin sebagai tools atau alat untuk mendeteksi tingkat plagiasi karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan. Keaktifan dan antusias peserta menunjukkan sikap positif. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan seperti perlu ditindaklanjuti dengan kegiatan yang serupa dengan mengundang peserta dari jurusan dan kampus lain yang ada di Kutai Timur

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, which has remodeled the order of human life in general, has been transformed into a new form of activity (new normal) that is different from the previous concept of life. When the holy month of Ramadan comes, it's time to increase the spiritual value of students by holding many religious activities, it is hindered by this pandemic which forbids humanity from gathering, or crowding in one place. The implementation of the Ramadhan Islamic boarding school, which in this case is one of the means to achieve the above objectives, must be conceptualized with a different pattern than before, which is done online. In this article, we describe the innovative activities that can be carried out during the implementation of Islamic boarding schools during the pandemic. By using field research, taking data by interview, observation, and documentation, and using data analysis: data condensation, data exposure, and drawing and drawing conclusions. The results of the innovation of Islamic boarding school activities during this pandemic are essentially held virtually, all of which are implemented in the form of activities in the form of reading the Qur'an, optimizing the 5 daily prayers, tarawih prayers, and suhoor suggestions, helping parents, giving charity, and Islamic seminars. The hope is that, even though it is carried out virtually, the essence, intent, and purpose of the implementation of this flash boarding school will be maintained to improve the morale and spirituality of students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Education is seen as a tactical instrument to improve people's standard of living. Leadership is an important component in the management of educational institutions because it produces human resources through internal education who are ready and competent to compete in both local and global contexts. Therefore, to meet society's increasing demands, educators must actively present themselves as qualified professionals. One of them is that the school principal in carrying out his function is managing the marketing activities of educational services for educational institutions by using good strategies to convince stakeholders and the community or customers. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study type of research, in which the author investigates and understands directly what happens in the field. The data collection techniques used by the author are observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Muara Wahau. The data analysis technique used by the author was the Miles & Huberman model starting from data condentation, data display, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research are the principal at SMA Negeri 2 Muara Wahau's improvement of marketing educational services using three stages. The first is to analyze the strategy, this is done by first identifying the market with market segmentation, market targeting, and market positioning. Next, the school principal plans using a marketing mix approach, and the last is implementing the existing plan, namely offering good products, effective and efficient promotions, qualified and competent teaching staff, and adequate infrastructure.

Abstract

The example and positive values of Khulafaur Rashidin are very important in developing Muslim character. The example of Khulafaur Rasyidin is a reference or source for Muslims in developing good character and behaviour in accordance with Islamic teachings. The purpose of the research is to find out how the implementation of the moral values of Khulafaur Rasyidin can affect the behaviour of Muslims in everyday life and how the role of Islamic education and society in supporting the process of Muslim character building that prioritises the moral values of Khulafaur Rasyidin. The method used by researchers is a qualitative research method with a type of library research that collects data by understanding and studying theories and various literature related to the research. using main objects such as books or various literature sources. The results of this study are that 1). The implementation of the moral values of Khulafaur Rashidin is very important so that Muslims can create an environment that supports moral and spiritual development, and makes a positive contribution to the sustainability of society. 2). The importance of Islamic education and society in shaping good character and morals in a community environment that prioritises the moral values of Khulafaur Rashidin.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools, known as Islamic educational institutions, that are characterized by their Indonesian identity, must continue to exist, and survive all forms of change and challenges of the times. Covid-19, which has come to destroy all aspects of life, has created and forced Islamic boarding schools to survive in carrying out their education. Through a qualitative approach, this research was carried out. The data collection was taken by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used data condensation, data display, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The results of the research in this article are that what Daarul Ikhlas Sangatta Selatan Islamic boarding school does to anticipate the spread of covid-19 is implemented in planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. To overcome the spread of covid-19 in Islamic boarding schools, what is being done is to implement health protocols in a disciplined and strict manner according to what is recommended by the central government or by the Indonesian Rabithah Ma'hadiyah Nahdlatul Ulama (RMI NU) in every activity in the Islamic boarding school environment.
